Restaurant Eventjes in Stadskanaal

We had a delicious fried egg sandwich and the staff was friendly. The "special" fried egg sandwich is highly recommended, but of course, there's much more on the menu.

We wanted to drink and eat, the drinks were there by now but there is only 1 of the 6 who takes orders, no idea how the food was, the coffee was good

Restaurant Eventjes does not live up to its name. First of all, you have to wait an incredibly long time for your ordered lunch, which is then not even cooked properly or warm and tastes like nothing. Furthermore, the service is also not representative at all. Sitting at a table in their own restaurant and talking very loudly. All in all, a very bad experience and absolutely NOT recommended.

Yesterday we went to lunch with my friend. He ordered a pancake. Made it way too thick, so the pancake wasn't cooked at all on the inside. In the end we left the pancake. Then when we paid we indicated that it wasn't cooked and that they should make it thinner next time. The gentleman (I think he was the owner) didn't take the complaint seriously, after which he replied that he had never heard that before. And then laughed as if he didn't care. There was no response at all and we had to pay right away. Bad business! We won't be going there for lunch anymore.

Croquette sandwich filled with margarine. Overpowered everything. Returned after 1 bite and got a very indignant angry response from the saleswoman, of course had to pay. Hot chocolate milk is just hot water with a little soluble powder. No taste but costs almost 4 euros. Pastry is old, what a disgrace. I will never come here again.

The staff is unfriendly, and I think the food was just canned and picked up from the nearest supermarket. I wouldn't recommend eating here at all.

Just a quick snack...pfff so much... 3 ounces of toppings, 4 eggs on 3 slices of bread, I couldn't finish that for a while 😍

Just no chance, just walk across the street for a nice cup of fries, it will save you money and a nasty aftertaste!!!

A wonderful place to relax with friends :) Recommended!

The portions are very small, I thought I had gotten a children's menu at first! This was indicated at checkout, they would pass it on to the kitchen and I would receive a discount. After looking at the receipt, it turned out that I had simply paid the full price! So never again! Amateurish stuff there.

Zeer kleine porties, dacht een kindermenu te hebben gekregen. Ook geen salade bij de menu’s. Er waren weinig mensen te eten. Dat verklaart waarschijnlijk wel iets.

Really very bad, I had ordered a tuna salad, was served a bowl with a chunk of cheap tuna salad from the supermarket on a "bed" of lettuce (quarter bag of mixed lettuce from the supermarket), tiny strip of pepper, 1 pearl onion, an eighth of a boiled egg, 1 very small slice of pickle and three tiny slices of bread spread with butter, so they could call it a "meal" salad. Tea, no choice in taste, but a small cookie, that's it. And the man who served us was downright rude. Once but never again!

Ordered baguette sandwiches. After this, someone quickly walked away and returned half an hour later with a jumbo big shopper. The baguettes and toppings were taken from this. Sandwiches with very minimal fillings, but expensive. Owner Jan is becoming less friendly over the years, except for the people at the regular table where he himself sits all day.

Het restaurant heeft veel gelegenheid om te zitten en het is ook geen probleem om met een grotere groep aan te schuiven. Het interieur ziet er verzorgd uit. De kaart is erg uitgebreid en er is dan ook voor ieder wat wils. De uitsmijters waren erg lekker en je krijgt ook zeker genoeg! Ook de belegde broodjes waren prima. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en we werden snel geholpen. We werden geholpen door een roodharige jongedame, ze maakte even een praatje met ons en hielp ons een keuze te maken.

Tijdens het shoppen even halt gehouden voor een goede kop koffie, een lekker stuk appeltaart en een wafel met verse aardbeien. Aanrader, kan me ook niet vinden in de eerder geplaatste negatieve beoordeling.

Op zich is dit best een leuke locatie om eventjes tussen het winkelen door te rusten en een hapje te eten. Er trok echter al snel een donkere wolk over ons tafeltje heen toen een nors kijkende serveerster onze bestelling op kwam nemen. Ze had er duidelijk geen trek in. Als dan ook een blokje ijs voor in de Cola te veel gevraagd is, slaat bij ons de twijfel over de professionaliteit van dit restaurant toe. Van de bestelde salade met tonijn worden wij ook al niet vrolijker en mag, onzes inziens, het predicaat "maaltijdsalade", wat er aan toegekend is beslist niet dragen. De uitsmijter Eventjes is weliswaar een flinke hap, maar is het net ook weer niet. De chef heeft ongetwijfeld haar best gedaan, maar zij heeft de eitjes net niet lang genoeg in de pan gelaten om het eiwit op juiste wijze te laten stollen waardoor rond twee van de vier dooiers nog zo'n eetlust bedervend rand slijm aanwezig is. Om de prijzen van de spijzen hoeft u een bezoek aan Restaurant Eventjes zeker niet te laten. Maar bij een volgend bezoek aan Stadskanaal lopen wij dit restaurant toch maar snel voorbij.

Top zaak goed eten voor een normale prijs

Keurig en niet te duur restaurant met binnenterras en uitzicht op de roltrap in het overdekte winkelcentrum Autorama

Erg onvriendelijk personeel, al weglopen voor dat we alles besteld hadden.. dus hebben we de rest gelaten. Thee besteld maar geen keuze uit smaak . Wel een mooi plekje jammer dat er niet meer uitgehaald wordt....
