Delicious food at an acceptable price. Unfortunately, there are now migrant worker homes on the old parking lot; they are very nice, but you have to fight your way through drunk Poles and Romanians before you get into the restaurant. Otherwise, we had a delicious meal!

Unfortunately, I had an incredibly bad experience at this restaurant. I found the way the owner spoke to the staff particularly abnormal, and it immediately created an unpleasant atmosphere. It felt anything but welcoming. Additionally, the food was very disappointing, and I found the atmosphere in the restaurant very artificial. Furthermore, there was a strong smell of weed outside, which made the experience even more unpleasant. As a woman, I also did not feel safe here in the evening. Around the restaurant, I was harassed by people staying at the adjacent hotel. This made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. For me, this is absolutely not a place I would go to again. I would therefore not recommend this restaurant.

We always order Chinese food from Festijn Culinair, but unfortunately, lately dishes haven't been delivered (forgotten) or the wrong order has been delivered. The quality of the food has also deteriorated significantly 😓 It's really a shame, but we are going to look for another restaurant.

Today, just the two of us dropped by very spontaneously, without a reservation, to celebrate my husband's birthday. What a wonderful surprise this was! From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcome. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and genuinely hospitable. You can tell they enjoy their work, and that radiates throughout the entire atmosphere. To our surprise, the birthday boy received a free drink *and* a free meal. Afterwards, he was festively surprised with a fountain candle and a birthday song. The best part was that the other guests spontaneously started singing along. That made it extra special and created a warm and cozy feeling. The food was also delicious, and the service was quick, attentive, and always with a smile. We never expected to have such a lovely evening. Thank you for the warm welcome and the fantastic service. You turned an ordinary evening into an unforgettable birthday. We will definitely love coming back!

This is my favorite restaurant. It's 30 minutes from where I live, but totally worth it. The food is fresh, very flavorful, there is a huge selection, and the service is incredibly hospitable. The food is also brought to you within 5-10 minutes. We had reserved for 2 hours, but when we had been sitting there for 3 hours, we realized we had been eating and drinking an hour too long. In the meantime, no one came over to ask us to leave, and nothing extra was charged either. Now that's what I call a top-notch restaurant. Naturally, I left a generous tip. What some others are whining about here in the review section reminds me of spoiled brats or nitpickers. If, for example, you want a lot more atmosphere and a beautiful, luxurious building, then you have to be prepared to pay more. I mean, for 37.50 euros pp all-inclusive, including drinks, delicious fresh food, and a huge, extensive menu, that is a bargain! If you want more atmosphere, you'd be better off eating at restaurants where you spend 50-plus euros per person, and not sitting here whining about your extra 1 euro for your lamb chop.......

What a lovely place this is! Always welcoming, service-oriented, friendly, and delicious food! Today we enjoyed the Chinese fondue/hotpot. Besides the fondue, we could also simply order any dish from the menu. They offer a world menu where you can choose small dishes from different countries. What a feast! More than enough was served for the Chinese fondue. From salmon and shrimp to chicken breast, steak, T-bone steak, and various vegetables. You can also choose from 2 different types of noodles. The quality of the food is exceptionally good. The service is always friendly and the restaurant looks beautiful. You can even buy art or lighting there, which hangs in the restaurant. The entire team at Festijn Culinair, from waitstaff to chefs, truly makes for a feast. Thank you for the wonderful moments and the delicious food.

Oh dear, what a sad state of affairs. What was once the parking lot has been converted into housing for migrant workers, making you doubt whether you are in the right place. Inside, there is also an Asian mini-supermarket, and it is the place where locals get their beers. The app used to order frequently malfunctions. The Asian dishes are tasty and there is a huge selection. The Mediterranean dishes leave much to be desired. The Mediterranean drumsticks tasted Chinese, the chicken piri piri here bore no resemblance to real chicken piri piri, the ice cream contained ice crystals, and the moussaka was downright inedible. Due to the enormous selection and the nice play area, the children enjoyed their meal and had a great time, but I really don't need to go here again. The staff was friendly yet indifferent, quick to serve, and clearly accustomed to dishes being returned to the kitchen untouched.

Normally we order online and they deliver it to our home, but this time we went for a lovely meal at the location and it was wonderfully quiet, the food was delicious, it was all you can eat, and we went home completely full.

Soulless restaurant, partially cordoned off with flags hung up to hide it. Food quality is poor; my husband was sick all night because of it. The baguette was rock hard, probably reheated in the microwave? The carpaccio was watery and tasteless. You have to pay an extra €1 for the lamb chop, but it's gone in one bite and also tasteless. There is a hotel with migrant workers nearby, which didn't bother us, but the restaurant is clearly part of it. There is a laundromat next to the toilets and even a shop behind the bar. The staff was very friendly, but otherwise, we will never eat there again. 2 stars because the staff was friendly, but the food gets 1 star.

We ate there with family at the opening years ago... it was good quality and varied. We ate there again tonight... absolutely not worth repeating.

The order was clear: Nasi Goreng with meat. We received a bowl of rice containing a few pieces of turkey ham and a sprig of leek. I have been ordering here for years, previously at Tang Dynasty, and I know that everything is getting more expensive, but surely you should be able to expect a bit of quality at the very least.

Food is always good and the staff is always friendly and they have very good memory.

Great food, a beautifully designed interior and you can also sit out on the balcony. They even have a small shop with basic products. What really stands out, though, is the phenomenal service, I’m always welcomed with a big smile and they’re happy to accommodate any request I have for my meal. I always feel taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

The food was fine for a relaxed bite out. What was disappointing was that it actually turns out to be the community center / canteen / reception for an immigrant village. For me, that is a reason not to go there again.

We went for hotpot today. And it was fantastic!!! Highly recommended! The vegetables, fish, and meat were perfect. This definitely has a repeat factor!! Really great! And the service was perfect as always!!!

The food exceeded our expectations 👍👍👍 We ate there again after four years. Due to the renovations, I no longer had the motivation to eat there. Today, four years later, thanks to a dinner voucher, we went back because there wasn't much choice in Almere before. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. I've eaten there twice. Once in September and just before Christmas. The food was very fresh and incredibly delicious every time. A lot of attention has been paid to every dish. And there is so much choice that even after eating there twice, I still haven't been able to try everything. The food was also brought to our table quite quickly after ordering. Excellent value for money. Many world restaurants should take a leaf out of their book. Because here, every dish is served at the right temperature. I read some negative reviews, but my experience is the complete opposite of what I sometimes read here. I would say give it a try. For me, it was a 30-minute drive, but well worth the effort. Tonight we had a delicious Christmas Eve dinner with my parents at Festijn Culinaire. I haven't been there for a few years because I no longer live in Almere, but it's very good. I can't agree with the reviews from others from the past few weeks. The only issue is the parking around the restaurant.

We unexpectedly enjoyed a culinary meal at Festijn and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent quality and full of flavor. Highly recommended.

Very bad... didn't receive the items... They want to deliver them the next day, what are you supposed to do with that? And I don't get a refund... very bad.

Celebrated my husband's 60th birthday there. We go there often. The staff is incredibly friendly, and Yucka is fantastic! After all the setbacks, they're still going strong and remain positive. Personalized treatment, something for everyone.

Never again. From 5 stars to 1 star. Food is not as good as it used to be, They decided to build a low budget hotel around the restaurant. There is little to no parking available now. But the worst thing is that it feels very unsafe there. I almost got hit by one of the hotel guests racing with his car through the parking place. There are also people everywhere hanging around. Really feels like a bad place to be. Its a shame that they decided to do this . . . . . .

Inside, it's a lovely place to eat. Friendly service and easy to order at the table using your phone. They have an allergens list you can ask for. The food is delicious! Plenty of time to eat and the service was prompt.

The service was very friendly, but offering a glass of plum wine with ice because it's not chilled is unacceptable. You don't put ice in wine, do you? Used to be there often: a beautiful restaurant with covered parking and charging stations. Now completely covered by houses. Practically no parking spaces left (park further away at the neighbors'). Regular cars park in the charging stations. To order, you have to scan a QR code. It got stuck a few times. The food itself was decent, except for the squid and the moussaka. They tasted like rubber bands. Meatballs in tomato sauce. The tomato sauce is red. This was a brown sauce. The restrooms are in a shady corner where there's also a laundry room. The food was of extremely poor quality. It's a bit odd to have your hamburger grilled first, then in the oven, and then in the microwave. The cheesecake was of very poor quality.

Had a delicious meal a few weeks ago and just picked it up. Delicious spring rolls and chicken satay. Ordered by phone again on August 7, 2025. But why does this always go wrong? This time, instead of long prawn crackers, I got a spring roll and had to pay for it.

A very disappointing experience. The nasi was of exceptionally poor quality: unseasoned, not stir-fried, and served with canned sausage—something I absolutely don't expect with a dish like nasi. Furthermore, the other dishes were watery and tasteless. All in all, a shameful level. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values quality or takes themselves seriously when it comes to food.

Since the concept changes and the addition of new premises, the food has deteriorated significantly. The nasi goreng is literally white rice with ketjap, without any frying or depth of flavor. The signature quality has disappeared. Conclusion: disappointing – I no longer recommend Culinair Festijn.

Delicious food. 3 orders per round and as many rounds as you like. As long as you finish it, otherwise, you pay €5 extra per dish. All you can eat and drink (excluding alcoholic drinks). For €39.95 for 2 hours. You can also stay for 2, 5, or 3 hours, which is a bit longer. Cozy atmosphere, many different dishes from Italy, Spain, Greece, Asia, and Portugal, as well as fries, chicken nuggets, frikandels, etc. for the kids. Nice play area. Elevator available. Upstairs in the restaurant, you have to ask for the key. It's a bit strange that if you want to use the elevator, someone else has to go upstairs for the key. Even when you leave, someone has to pick up the key outside downstairs first, otherwise the door won't open when you're downstairs. Restrooms are gold-colored! Clean and spacious. Parking is on the ground floor and there are a few limited spaces.

I was here when it first opened. It was good then, but now it's the worst all-you-can-eat restaurant ever. The meat was tough and dry. Half the dishes lacked sauce and had no flavor. We couldn't even get salt and pepper to the table. When we asked for it, the Parmesan cheese on the carpaccio was rotten. I never write reviews, but I honestly don't recommend anyone to eat here.

At this restaurant, we go as a family, several times a year. Both the owner, the staff are always very friendly and helpful!. We always find the food good! However, until yesterday evening, when 3 of the 4 family members suffered from severe stomach cramps to the point of vomiting! It may be due to the weather, between the transition from warm to cold, but it is nice at the moment, far from not, so close to the start of the summer holidays!

I eat here quite a bit because I live here, and it's a bit of a lottery. They usually take a while to serve you, and sometimes the food is very good, but sometimes it's served burnt. It's a bit of a lottery. I wish it weren't like that, because they have potential in terms of flavor and price, but not knowing what you'll get today, and how long it sometimes takes, really annoys me.

In the beginning this was a pretty good restaurant. But the last few times everything has gone wrong. This is an All You Can Eat restaurant that has everything (like many All You Can Eat restaurants) The orders are placed via your telephone. There is a QR code on your table that you have to scan. What went wrong: we sat at the table for 45 minutes without getting any drinks. I indicated this twice to the waiter and lastly I went to the bar myself for a drink. The orders are not coming through properly and you are not receiving some orders. Others you will receive immediately and others much later (really until the end of your visit) This can still be done if the food is good. But the food you get also differs very much. Sometimes you even get cold pieces of meat or fish. Or then something is missing from your order that you received last time. This is also not a cheap All You Can Eat restaurant. For 2 people you spend almost 80 euros. No compensation or contact whatsoever.

BEWARE OF FOOD ALLERGIES Called them in advance to see if they can also serve gluten-free. That was no problem at all on the phone. In practice, however, you get the most illogical and confusing allergy map. The staff clearly doesn't care and walks away in the middle of the conversation, because apparently they don't understand the allergy card themselves. After having spoken to several people with difficulty, they finally came to the conclusion that actually everything on the allergen menu contains gluten, and the entire menu is on it... Then they indicate to make unseasoned pieces of meat and fish, without sauces... because even sushi and poke bowls are full of gluten. However, they cannot guarantee cross-contamination. The very thing we had called in advance for. We then had to pay 4 euros for some coke and left, because people who deal so poorly with food allergies are a danger to someone's health. As for the furnishings; it is basic, a bit dingy, but typical for this type of restaurant. You have to be lucky in terms of parking, because it is full of cars from the (temporarily?) installed container homes.

There was hardly anyone else there. The girl who served us was the only one who was friendly and the girl who paid us. Furthermore, the boys and men were not very friendly. At first we had to wait in the lobby for quite some time because our table was not ready yet, even though it had been reserved in advance. The lady behind the bar said this was because the people currently sitting there didn't want to leave, which just wasn't well planned in my opinion. After about 20-30 minutes we were able to sit down at the table. Our table was located next to an open children's play area. We were there on Boxing Day so it was busy that day and also full of children playing and unfortunately shouting 5 meters away. Furthermore, in terms of atmosphere, I did not necessarily find it very pleasant, the decoration and furnishings etc. are fine, but it is located in a kind of guest worker hotel, so while you are sitting in the arrivals hall, people keep walking past in their sleeping clothes who come to get a beer at the bar, for example. Even when you go to the shared toilet, you pass the hotel launderette, which creates a special atmosphere. As for the service: you order together or separately via a mobile phone and then they bring it to you. It was always ready quite quickly and tasty, but something was forgotten almost every round. I thought the waitstaff was very nice and helpful and considering how busy they were, they did a good job.

As many others have said, the place has gone downhill since the opening of their "hotel". Went there for all you can eat, but the menu the website shows that you order your food on was limited for the first 30 minutes or so so only 10 or 15 items (compared to a much more extensive printed menu). It was only after we pointed this out that they unlocked the full menu. Service was so-so, some employees definitely should find another job that they might enjoy more. I won't be coming back and instead will go to one of the other all you can eat places that Almere has and which are much better.

Too bad everything tastes like it has been there for a while and when it came out of the microwave it gave me a huge stomach cramp!....... And no parking space either....

Made a reservation at Festijn Culinair, haven't eaten at this restaurant for a while and now with a house full of visitors we thought it would be nice to eat again, because we had liked it before (this was before they built a hotel). Well, upon arrival at the parking lot, we noticed that there were some migrant workers walking through the bushes and across the parking lot, smoking pot and drinking. You suddenly imagine yourself in a different world where the restaurant is hidden behind the attached hotels. We were deeply ashamed that we made a reservation here, the shouting, strange characters, odor nuisance and the overall appearance was really sad. We immediately turned around and walked away. What a bad choice to design your hotel chain like this, what a huge mockery for the restaurant. Considering the reactions, things won't get any better.

Food is good, service is friendly. The area surrounding the restaurant is surrounded by homes for guest workers, and there is a coming and going of vans and cars. The parking lot is very difficult to reach, and there is hardly any room. When we arrived outside, we already got a smoke of weed in our faces. When we left we were sold a bottle of drink. There was a lot of smoking and drinking in the parking lot. It all didn't feel very nice. Would certainly not want to go there with smaller children.

It's very double! One is fantastic and the other is ridiculously bad! Besides that, the entrance is a mess and out of the three times I've eaten there, my children have been exposed to drunken people fighting around the restaurant... They've seen a woman being bulldozed to the ground and we've all had one. Had terrible stomach complaints! I'd rather not eat there, even though they have very tasty things!

The food really didn't taste like anything, the meat was even dirty (San chau koe loe) little meat and a thick pastry crust or something and the Tjap Tjoy (vegetarian) was extremely salty with lots of cheap vegetables such as carrots.
