The four of us had a delicious meal at Harbor House. The staff is super friendly. We all wanted things that weren't on the menu and nothing was too complicated. Big thumbs up!

Nice atmosphere, beautiful place, nice and quiet, and delicious food

The food is fair to good. We had a bread roll with aioli and herb butter as a starter. Very standard, and the bread wasn't particularly tasty either. The main course was sole, which clearly came from the freezer, served with frozen vegetables and fries. Service was far below par. Changing tables was initially impossible, but after insisting, it was eventually arranged. The arguments presented were completely unfounded. The staff had no idea how or where to place a drink. Surely, you would expect a little etiquette, especially at these prices. Here again, there is a clear mismatch between price/quality and service.

We had an incredibly delicious meal. Our little dog was also welcome.

Harbor House Almere is highly recommended! A super nice place we love coming to, both for lunch and dinner. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is always relaxed. Portions are generous enough. Sometimes you have to wait a bit, but honestly, that’s not a problem here at all. With the beautiful view over the harbor and the IJmeer, there is always something to see. We are sitting there right now enjoying a good glass of wine and a charcuterie board – pure bliss. It is also the perfect base after a day on the water or in the harbor. Welcoming, atmospheric, and in a prime location. We will keep coming back!

Very good experience, prompt and attentive service. The terrace by the water is always nice in good weather. The food is very good; a small remark: the fish from the fish and chips was a bit on the small side compared to the meat dishes. All in all, nothing wrong with it.

On Sunday, my friends took me here to celebrate my birthday. Apparently, they had mentioned it was my birthday when making the reservation, because we were welcomed by the owner with a complimentary bottle of Cava. That was, of course, a very pleasant surprise. The food was delicious. Moreover, after the first round of drinks, we were given the opportunity to move to another table so that we could fully enjoy the sunset. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the entire evening was a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back, even when it’s not my birthday and without the free Cava. Thank you!

We are moored in this harbor, so we ate here a lot in 2024/2025. Last week, for the first time this year, it was a bit disappointing. Both plates came with very soggy fries. This was clearly indicated, but no follow-up was given. A shame!

Excellent service and atmosphere. I had the pork-stock pasta, which was awesome. For desert I had the old fashioned beef-stock with cream, vanilla and different kinds of fruits. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. I had the Black Angus burger, which was incredibly juicy and beautifully presented. And the mustard there was the best I've ever had. Finally, for dessert, they served beef broth made the old-fashioned way, with cream, the best bourbon vanilla ice cream, and a variety of fruits. Highly recommended! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻

What a huge disappointment. For €19, you expect a decent meal, but what was served here is truly unacceptable. I understand that ingredients like tomatoes can release moisture, but this was just ridiculous. The steak salad was literally soaked; it was more of a soup of liquid and sauce than a salad. We pointed this out, and the salad was taken to the kitchen, after which we were told that they couldn't do anything with it and that we should just bring it next time. That is simply scandalous and totally unacceptable coming from the kitchen. The chicken satay wasn't much better. Bland, totally tasteless, and the satay sauce was clearly not fresh. The whole thing felt cheap and prepared without any care. When paying the bill, we politely pointed out once again that this was really not right and that it shouldn't be like this, but nothing was done about it. We simply had to pay the full amount without any form of solution or compensation. The view and location are great, but that absolutely does not outweigh the poor quality of the food. Way too expensive for what you get. That was a one-time thing, never again.

Went for lunch on the terrace outside by the water. The menu looks great, but the food is disappointing, very expensive with small portions. If you're promoting yourself as a top-notch restaurant, I expect more. I won't be back anytime soon and would keep looking.

The service was friendly and fast, the tables and menus were clean, and the restrooms were very tidy. Even though we arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday, there were still a few seats available. I also liked the restaurant's layout. We'll definitely be back!

I was here for a New Year's reception. Friendly staff, actively walking around asking if you'd like to order anything. They also serve orange juice, which is a big plus for me. The location is also beautiful, on the IJmeer.

I was visiting the marina for one night and decided to eat here. A great decision. Service was friendly and helpful from the start. I had a zero passion fruit mojito that was delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly and served quickly. Great atmosphere and I will definitely come back. Thanks.

I had lunch here for the first time today, and it was delicious. The service was good and fast, and friendly, and they quickly noticed when your glass was empty. And what I really enjoyed in this hot weather... that wonderfully cold beer. We'll be back soon to try dinner.

A lovely restaurant on the water's edge in the marina. The food, service, and atmosphere are excellent.

Price-quality ratio is expensive and disproportionate. The salad was tasteless, but there wasn't much to it in terms of overall experience.

Average quality food for the prices you pay. The ingredients are of good quality but it was all prepared somewhat mediocrely with perhaps a bit too much haste. The hamburger was still a bit too raw on the inside. And I had the chicken satay myself and it seemed like it had been cooked through and then put on the grill for 2 minutes for the sake of appearance. All rather tasteless. Now you can hide that well by pouring a large dollop of peanut sauce over it but that was also very little and a lot of scraping. And when I asked if I could have another scoop of sauce, I was told that that was only possible for a fee... 🤦 We gave up then. Quickly pay and go home. There are also bright spots: super friendly staff. Excellent fries. Great wine. And a top location with a great terrace. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to sit outside.

Undisputedly one of the worst kitchens in Almere and surroundings. We had to leave the food. - Salad was brown. - Pasta tasted of cleaning agent with a bitter taste as if the meat was spoiled. - Tomato was so soft as if it was spoiled. In short, a restaurant to avoid in the future.

Wij lunchen vaker bij jullie, echter wij zijn Vegan en normaal was de burger goed. Nu was hij keihard, zwart aan de rand en dat voor €22 :50. Ook het personeel was onvriendelijk, je voelde je niet welkom er kon geen lachje af. Wij zullen hier niet meer komen.

Mooi terras, maar je wordt er overdag opgegeten door de muggen . Menu kaart zat vol bloed van doodgeslagen muggen. Erg jammer.

Had a wonderful evening at the harbour house, good food and a wonderful atmosphere due to the location on the water. However, an area for improvement is the service of the employees. The whole evening we had the feeling that we had to leave as soon as possible because they wanted to close. The cash register was also closed before closing time, so we were asked to pay in cash. This unfortunately ended the experience unpleasantly. Too bad, it would be nice if the staff remained customer-friendly and hospitable until closing time.

Service definitely better than last time. The quality of the food in relation to the price is really below par. Tournedos for €37 was very small and certainly not medium as ordered. We gave Harborhouse another chance, but the competition at Almere Duin is doing much better.

A perfect restaurant for a harbour. Very friendly and service minded staff. They have a good varied menu and delicious snacks for a drink. During our 6 months in the Navy we used the restaurant a lot and had our farewell party. I would say it is suitable for any occasion.

A Bouillabaisse outside the menu today. Now I am not an expert, but I am a lover of this delicious fish soup. And my top 3 has been put together again tonight. Together with the one in New York Central Station and one in Granville (Fr), this is what a Bouillabaisse should be. Delicious!

This place is way overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. The service was also not good at all. With nice weather it’s ok to have a beer but nothing more than that.

Nice place to have a bite to eat, have a drink, etc. You can also sit outside on warm days (you can also bring your dog). The food is good and the price is reasonable. (only with the nachos...a lot of salt, no natural nachos were used but cheese). The staff is friendly, but sometimes you miss the warmth of a real catering tiger.

Delicious food, pleasant, cozy and quiet atmosphere. View is beautiful. Dietary restrictions were considered carefully and alertly. The head of service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Portions were a bit on the small side, except for the spare ribs, which were huge. In the second half of the evening the service was a bit slow and not very visible, it seemed as if this was because someone was being trained.

Very cozy place to sit. The terrace on the water is especially lovely. It's a bit of a shame that the orange juice wasn't fresh (despite the fact that I asked for it) and the old cheese sandwich tasted of nothing. In addition, the meager 2 slices of cheese per sandwich were dried out and hard. Not really what you expect for that price.

Matige lunch, niet in verhouding met de prijs. Salade besteld met spek, brie, champignons en uien. Was veel ijsbergsla met stronk. Brie was bijna niet te vinden. Volgeladen met gebakken spekjes en totaal geen dressing om de salade een lekkere smaak te geven. Erg jammer voor een salade van 11,50. Locatie is wel erg leuk.

What a wonderful evening we had with the right atmosphere and good food. Everything in honor of our son's 30th birthday. The staff certainly contributed to this evening. We find it priceless. Location, parking, interior, hospitable in one word GREAT All this resulted in the right result through discussions with hostess Ellis. Our son enjoyed it immensely. Thank you🎉

Have eaten here several times now and have not been disappointed once. In the summer on the terrace, busy but the quality is very good and despite the crowds there is no long wait. Went for dinner a few times recently. Less busy, which surprised us because the quality is simply good, as is the friendliness of the staff, and once again delicious dishes. Also specialties outside the menu that match the time of year. In short, see you soon.

This afternoon we had a lovely lunch on the sun-drenched terrace. Friendly service and drinks (chardonnay 19 crimes highly recommended) arrived quickly. Slade of steak pieces and salmon (unfortunately after 1 x wrong salad) too. Delicious food. It can happen that the operator sometimes makes a mistake. Above all, let's enjoy the good stuff. And be a little more patient sometimes...we will get there in a timely manner.

Vanavond - voor de voorstelling van Vis a Vis - hier een hapje gegeten. Ik had carpaccio als voorgerecht en een zalmsalade als hoofdgerecht; helemaal prima! Niet een hele bijzondere kaart maar we konden lekker buiten zitten met leuk uitzicht, en dat is ook wat waard.

Unknowingly, we sat at a reserved table and talked to the winemaker about how we would like to have something to eat when the kitchen started. We have already been given the menus. We had a drink and when the kitchen opened we were ignored by the waitress. When we tried to order from someone else, we were told that we couldn't eat anything there. We then left. Very unfortunate. The view of the harbor is quite nice. Since there seems to be a lot of confusion at the restaurant, we were given the menu at the reserved table even though we weren't allowed to eat there. We should then pay or sit at another table (not with the view). However, we were here for the view and then left. It would have been great if we had been told from the start that we weren't allowed to eat at the table, instead of making us wait an hour for the kitchen to open and even handing out the menu to us. We sat at a normal dining table.

Cozy atmosphere on the terrace. Starters were tasty. However, 2 people had pork tenderloin, both of which were very well done. Passed this on to the bidder, but we got our plate (with well-done pork tenderloin) back. A little later we got 1 pork tenderloin to share, which was good by the way. Informed the waiter that 2 pork tenderloins were not good instead of 1 to share. The 'manager' was called and she blamed the meat and did not come to a solution but started arguing with us. Bad service.

Ate with 7 people. Lovely on the terrace. Service very friendly and not pushy. It was busy but we were helped quickly. Everyone had a delicious meal! Tip well deserved! We don't do that everywhere. Thank you.

A place to drink and eat, less a place to eat and drink. It mostly feels like a bar rather than a restaurant, the food is still good.
