Tasty and good food, especially for those with a slightly heavier wallet.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent, checking when the next course was ready. The appetizer was delicious, the toast could have been more original, and the meat was delicious. The sweetbreads with port sauce were excellent, just as they should be. The shrimp croquettes were excellent; some fried parsley or some individual small shrimp would have made them a bit more refined. The sauce was classic, but a tip: choose a different garnish, not the grated carrot with lettuce. The main course was tournedos signant with fresh, well-flavored béarnaise. The fresh, warm vegetables could have been a bit more generous, for example, not the half bean with bacon, but complete the menu. It's a small detail, but it can make all the difference. Deliciously well-cooked, tasty meat. I had the beef stew, deliciously classic. Again, the salad with lettuce and grated carrot. A different salad with endive, apple, or perhaps an apple garnish, or other lettuce, would be more appealing to me. The fries or croquettes were a good choice, the flavor was good, and the mayonnaise was excellent. The cava and sauerkraut were good value for money. Generous glasses. The mini dame blanche wasn't mini, but it was fine. The ice cream was delicious with the crunch, and the chocolate sauce. The whipped cream was a bit underwhelming, but sufficient for the price. We received excellent service, and the interior is beautiful. The atmosphere is pleasant. We will definitely be back; this was our first time here. Thank you!

Insulting and disrespectful service I was in this place in Hulst with my girlfriend. We waited for more than 15 minutes and not a single employee even came to ask if we wanted something to drink. Okay up to that point – that can happen. But what I really cannot accept is that the table next to us, who arrived after us, was immediately helped by the waitress, while we were deliberately completely ignored. This was not a mistake – this felt like deliberate contempt and a total lack of respect. It was very clear that we were simply not wanted. I have no problem with waiting, but when you feel invisible in a place where you entered with respect, you deserve at least humane treatment. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has self-respect and wants to be treated normally.

Great food, had the fish and meat lunch suggestion, a real taste bomb and recommended! Very good and friendly service! We will come here again!

Too bad what a decline!! What used to be an atmospheric atmosphere, professional service and quality food, has now become nothing more than a snack bar. Rude service, small portions, dirty cutlery, cheap wine and noisy atmosphere. The bosses are often absent and this is felt, the service is boorish. No, we don't do this anymore. Yet we were good customers.

Tasty food. Nice staff. We sat at the back, which was a little less pleasant. I had the fish pan and I expected a little more variety. But it didn't detract from the taste. Large portions.

We ate a starter and a main course together with a friend, soup and asparagus with Ast, quality moderate to good, compared to some other restaurants, payment encountered problems, it is apparently a trend in the catering world, we wanted to split the bill, so we each pay half of the bill by telephone, but this led to a lot of discussion, it was much too difficult according to the owner, this is really a lack of customer friendliness

Very friendly staff and tasty snacks. Pleasant terrace (also heated in the winter months) nice to sit (also inside). Very tasty croque monsieurs.

Good service and always a social contract

Ate on the terrace with 4. Super friendly service. We thought the pasta with the spaghetti was too thin. The hamburger was a tasty perfectly cooked piece of meat. The vol au vent was very popular (although we thought the mushrooms were cut a little too thickly). The fish lunch platter was also popular. There is a chance that we will come back again.

Ate here last Friday with grandma who has difficulty walking behind the walker It was really nice and good here, the food was tasty, but especially the understanding service who immediately helped my grandmother to take off her coat, pull up her chair and put away the walker for a while and pick it up again when we went home We are very satisfied with the friendly, respectful way in which our grandmother was helped Really great.

extremely inhospitable welcome for our party of 7 people who were forbidden to sit at a FREE table. The Flemish-speaking lady at the shop laughed at us when we went elsewhere, disappointed. Arrogance sandwich belongs on the menu of this restaurant.

Waiter very grumpy and never says good morning. Apart from that good cappuccino. After coming here for quite a while I can say that is a beautiful environment with predominantly kind and professional staff. Unfortunately there are a couple members of staff that ruin the whole positive vibe by being disrespectful and not giving the appropriate professional attitude to the client. Manager and owners support a very unprofessional attitude. If you want to experience discriminative behaviour and arrogance that touches the limits of racism vist this place. What a disgrace.

Very nice and fast service, with top service (for example, we were able to go from an outside table to inside without any problem - due to many smokers outside next to us). Food also very tasty for a good price and quality. We ate the ravioli and fish salad (lots of salmon! And delicious eel and scampi).

If you look at the menu and you read a line about how you can ask for a more extensive menu, you then do so and you are then told off and they walk away with a dismissive gesture, you have actually already eaten and drunk. This was to be a renewed acquaintance with the place where two of the group were once born and raised. We flew across the world, but now we can enjoy it at the end of the journey. Now there was a big dampener. The terrace and the view made up for something. The apple studel was plentiful and good, the Zeeland coffee board was nicely presented. So only praise here. The place inside was beautiful. Well-maintained toilets and even a disabled toilet that one can be proud of. When there was some concern about entering with a wheelchair, the same waitress came to show her other side and was suddenly very helpful. That gives hope again.

Very tasty and good food. Sitting comfortably! But the gentleman serving could have been a little more polite. If you take a quick look at the map, you won't just walk away.

Beautiful terrace with a view of the Basilica of Hulst. Friendly and fast staff. Enjoyed the shrimp croquette with bread. My partner had the Lunch Suggestion Fish, also recommended.

After a negative experience in another restaurant (noisy and no service) we ended up here. We were immediately provided with a menu and were able to order our drinks. A container with 2 bags of saltines was given with our drink. And after we ordered we received an appetizer on the house. We had a delicious meal (stew meat). We also ordered an ice cream. I ordered a mini Dame Blanche, but I got so much that I couldn't finish it.

Nice place, but the service could be a bit better. A flat cola without a piece of lemon or ice cube...yuck, we don't like it.

Nice restaurant during our stay in Zeeland. Nice menu with different beers and wines. They also have the Francis Coppola wine here that I really like. Because we came for lunch, we opted for the Saeftinghe gold blond beer. That was still exciting on the way back after 2 pieces 🚗 😁. Also had shrimp and meat croquettes with fries.

Service en sfeer okay, een pracht locatie. Broodje kaas met soep was al goed, een complete maaltijd onwaarschijnlijk ook.

Meerdere keren geweest. Eten steeds ok, bediening (buiten de enkele, 2 die er nog zijn van daarvoor) laat de wensen over. Jammer. 4 verschillende mensen die je bedienen en geen "leeg goed" meenemen? Open jullie ogen!

Vertrouwd adres in Hulst. De kwaliteit is oké; je zult hier niet snel teleurgesteld worden. Prijzen beetje aan de hoge kant.

Lekker warm en op tijd thuis bezorgd

Aangenaam zitten. Prijs/kwaliteit zeer goed. Zeer vriendelijke en vlotte bediening, ondanks het feit dat het er nogal druk was. Er is een kinderkaart en keuze genoeg op de kaart. Wij vinden de Belgische frietjes wel beter dan de Nederlandse, maar dat is persoonlijk 😀.

Essen war von der Menge etwas winzig aber das ist ja meistens bei Gourmet ,die machen aus einfachem Essen Gold!Auserdem ist es gut abends weniger....!Es gab auch Tomatensaft was es in den wenigsten Restaurants gibt!

In juni 2023 hier met vrienden op het terras gegeten. De bediening was vlot en attent. De gerechten werden in het juiste tempo uitgeserveerd. Naast een prima menukaart ook best een aardige keuze uit wijnen De gerechten waren smaakvol en voldeden aan de verwachtingen. In de zomer is het heerlijke toeven op het terras.

Ze hebben daar erg lekkere warme appelsþrudel met verse slagroom voor n zacht prijsje en heel lekkere koffie

Weer heerlijk gegeten, met goede bediening, altijd gezellig druk!
