Er zijn enkel maar positieve zaken te zeggen over Het Gerecht. Ten eerste is er een gastvrije sfeer waarbij de chef nog zelf aan tafel komt met toelichting over zijn gerechten. De gastvrouw is een charmante en aangename dame die er alles aan doet om jouw gezelschap een fijne avond te bezorgen. Het restaurant heeft een verfijnde maar toch huiselijke sfeer met amper 9 tafels. Tot slot is het eten er subliem! Wij hebben er zeer lekker gegeten en genoten van elk gerecht. De chef bracht verrassende smaakcombinaties op het bord met een oog voor verfijning en details. De producten zijn seizoensgebonden en vers. Wij keren zeker terug!

What a beautiful place for fine dining in Roermond 😍 Ellis and Cederik are the perfect hosts and gave us an unforgettable evening: From the aperitif to the brilliant greetings from the kitchen to a perfect 6-course menu, it was a perfect four hours. The individual courses impress with very high quality products that are perfectly coordinated with each other. We were able to enjoy the new menu “Summer Feelings” and were completely thrilled > tomato, amberjack, paella with lobster, quail, lamb and finally a fantastic dessert. All sauces and juis impressed with their lightness but extreme taste and depth. Acidity, sweetness and umami were not missing from any course and crunch from small seam taccos or dreamy, roasted brioche sticks made everything round and perfect. Keep it up and Michelin will soon recommend “Het Gerecht”. The Gault-Millau has already awarded a toque and 13/20 points. 👏👏👏

During my walking and running laps through Roermond I have often passed by restaurant Het Gerecht. The inviting appearance continued to intrigue me, and recently I decided to finally step inside. It turned out to be an excellent choice! Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the cozy atmosphere. The interior feels warm and homely, with a nice balance between modern and classic. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which got the experience off to a great start. One of the aspects that I really appreciated was the attention paid to the explanation of the dishes and the accompanying wines. The staff seemed really knowledgeable and knew how to recommend the right combinations. This made dinner not only a culinary, but also an informative experience. The dishes were prepared with care and tasted delicious. Each plate was a small work of art, with the flavors complementing each other beautifully. Whether you are a meat, fish or vegetarian lover, there seems to be something special on the menu for everyone. In short, Het Gerecht is recommended for anyone who likes good food and a relaxed atmosphere. After this first introduction, I am sure that I will come back here more often, whether after a brisk walk or for a special occasion.

Tijdens mijn wandel- en hardlooprondjes door Roermond ben ik al vaak langs restaurant Het Gerecht gekomen. De uitnodigende uitstraling bleef me intrigeren, en onlangs besloot ik eindelijk een keer naar binnen te stappen. Het bleek een uitstekende keuze! Bij binnenkomst viel direct de gezellige sfeer op. Het interieur voelt warm en huiselijk aan, met een fijne balans tussen modern en klassiek. Het personeel was vriendelijk en verwelkomend, wat de ervaring meteen een goed begin gaf. Een van de aspecten die ik erg waardeerde, was de aandacht die werd besteed aan de uitleg over de gerechten en de bijpassende wijnen. Het personeel leek echt kennis van zaken te hebben en wist de juiste combinaties aan te bevelen. Dit maakte het diner niet alleen een culinaire, maar ook een informatieve ervaring. De gerechten waren met zorg bereid en smaakten heerlijk. Elk bord was een klein kunstwerk, waarbij de smaken elkaar mooi aanvulden. Of je nu een liefhebber bent van vlees, vis of vegetarisch, er lijkt voor iedereen wel iets bijzonders op de kaart te staan. Kortom, Het Gerecht is een aanrader voor iedereen die van goed eten en een ontspannen sfeer houdt. Na deze eerste kennismaking weet ik zeker dat ik hier vaker terug zal komen, of het nu na een stevige wandeling is of voor een speciale gelegenheid.

Met vrienden wezen dineren en zeer goed bevallen. Entourage is mooi en restaurant is compact. Persoonlijke aandacht van de bediening die soms iets attenter mag zijn als het gaat om bijschenken van de wijn. Maar overall een aanwinst voor Roermond

May the Gourmet God protect Het Gerecht The 01.09. would be our 4th visit to Het Gerecht. Unfortunately, in recent years we (my partner and I) have not been able to cover the approximately 580 km from our hometown in northern Germany to Het Gerecht. But now it was finally that time again! We sat down at our reserved but stylish table on a very warm Sunday evening, “exhausted from outlet shopping” and “excited”. Ellis, the co-owner, greeted us - as usual - in a friendly manner - and introduced us to the culinary options of the day. Everything was possible, from a 3-course menu to a 6-course menu with additional mini courses. From the non-alcoholic food accompaniment to the half and full wine accompaniment, everything that promised joy was at the start. Even today, as I write, my palate is happy - remembering the food. A very important question for me is how the restaurant has developed since it opened (in this case) or since the last visit. Restaurants rarely improve over the years; rather, success - when achieved - leads to things being taken a little calmer (understandable). To put it bluntly…. Het Gerecht cooks like it did in the first days of its existence or even a little better here and there. What's remarkable at this point is that the chef, Cedrik, wasn't even in the house. A young – obviously – very talented lady cooked all by herself that evening and did a great job. You don't experience top performance everywhere on days without a chef - extra plus point! I have attached a whole series of “plate photos” here. The presentation was finely tuned for each individual course and there was always a bit of “outside the box” thinking and cooking. In the end, I had two greetings from the kitchen, two additional courses, the regular 6 courses, with a surprise course in between and two different “after-desserts” plus a specially flavored sugar to add to the bill. If we add up all the plates, I come up with 14 different compositions that all really fit together. As if this were not enough, two more things need to be highlighted. For one thing, this is Ellis. She is THE sommelier. We have already visited several Michelin star, Bib's and Gault Millau restaurants and experienced the wine accompaniment. We think Ellis is the best sommelier we know. The harmony of food and wine was symphonic. Great, Ellis!!! Ellis & Cedrik are a dream team in the gastronomy world. And on the other hand - which is also worth mentioning - the bill for what was offered was really fair and motivating to come back. Speaking of coming back – we’re really looking forward to it today!! And keep it up at Het Gerecht!!

Ein kleines, gemütliches Restaurant am Rande der Roermonder Altstadt mit einem jungen, herzlichem Gastgeberteam. Wenige Tische, offene, moderne Küche und eine feine Karte mit Wahlmenü und (bis zu 6 Gang) Chefmenü. Weinbegleitung möglich. Ansonsten sehr gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Weinen in der Weinkarte. Das 6-Gang Chefmenü mit herbstlichen Zutaten schmeckte fantastisch. Grüße aus der Küche, Austern, fabelhafter Wein, super Service, kompetente Beratung, köstliches Sauerteig-Brot von einer kleinen Manufaktur aus Roermond, selbstgebackenes Maisbrot, kunstvoll angerichtete Teller, traumhaftes Dessert.. Ich kann nicht aufhören zu schwärmen!! Unser neues Lieblingsrestaurant- wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Es ist immer wieder erstaunlich was Roermond an guter Küche zu bieten hat. Durch einen glücklichen Zufall, da unser Lieblingslokal "de Gelegenheit" wegen Betriebsferien geschlossen hatte, sind wir bei dem Restaurant Het Gerecht gelandet. Nicht nur der gute Service, sondern auch das 3-Gang und 4-Gang Menü überzeugte von der Kreativität des Kochs. Bemerkenswert sind die feinen Nuancen die die verschiedenen Speisen ausmachen. Eine echte Bereicherung der guten und kreativen Küche.

Möge der Gourmet-Gott das Het Gerecht beschützen Der 01.09. würde unser 4. Besuch im Het Gerecht werden. Leider konnten wir (meine Partnerin und ich) es in den letzten Jahren nicht schaffen, die rund 580 km von unserem Heimatort im Norden Deutschlands bis zum Het Gerecht zurückzulegen. Aber nun war es endlich wieder soweit! Wir nahmen „Outlet-shopping-erschöpft“ und „vorfreudig“ an einem sehr warmen Sonntagabend an unserem zurückhaltend, jedoch stilvoll gedeckten Tisch Platz. Ellis, die Mitinhaberin begrüßte uns – wie stehts - freundlich aufgeräumt, - und stellte uns die kulinarischen Möglichkeiten des Tages vor. Vom 3-Gang-Menu bis zum 6-Gang-Menu mit zusätzlichen Mini-Gängen war alles möglich. Von der alkoholfreien Speisenbegleitung, über die halbe und vollständige Weinbegleitung war alles am Start, was Freude versprach. Selbst heute beim Schreiben freut sich mein Gaumen - erinnernd – an die Speisen. Eine für mich sehr wichtige Frage ist die Frage, wie sich das Restaurant seit Eröffnung (in diesem Fall) bzw. seit dem letzten Besuch entwickelt hat. Selten steigern sich Restaurants im Laufe der Jahre, eher führt der Erfolg – wenn erreicht – dazu, dass man die Dinge etwas ruhiger (verständlich) angeht. Um es vorweg zu nehmen …. Das Het Gerecht kocht, wie in den ersten Tagen seines Bestehens oder sogar hier und da noch ein wenig besser. Bemerkenswert an dieser Stelle ist, dass der Küchenchef Cedrik gar nicht im Hause war. Eine junge – offensichtlich – sehr talentierte Dame kochte an diesem Abend ganz allein und ganz grandios. Spitzenperformance an Tagen ohne Chefkoch erlebt man auch nicht überall – Extrapluspunkt! Ich habe hier eine ganze Reihe von „Tellerfotos“ angehängt. Die Präsentation war bei jedem einzelnen Gang fein abgestimmt und immer etwas „um die Ecke“ gedacht- bzw. -kocht. Am Ende waren es für mich zwei Grüße aus der Küche, zwei Zusatzgänge, die regulären 6 Gänge, dazwischen noch ein Überraschungsgang und zwei verschiedene „After-Desserts“ plus ein besonders aromatisierter Zucker zur Rechnung. Wenn wir einmal alle Teller zusammenzählen, komme ich auf 14 verschiedene Kompositionen, welche auch wirklich alle zusammengepasst haben. Als wäre dies nicht genug, müssen noch zwei weitere Dinge hervorgehoben werden. Zum einen ist dies Ellis. Sie ist DIE Sommelière. Wir haben schon so einige Michelin-Sterne, Bib`s und Gault Millau-Restaurants besucht und die Weinbegleitung erlebt. Wir halten Ellis für die beste Sommelière, die wir kennen. Die Harmonie von Essen und Wein war symphonisch. Super, Ellis!!! Ellis & Cedrik sind ein Traumteam der Gastrowelt. Und zum anderen – ebenso erwähnenswert – war die Rechnung für das Gebotene wirklich fair und motivierend wiederzukommen. Apropos wiederkommen – darauf freuen wir uns heute schon sehr!! Und weiter so im Het Gerecht !!

Wir haben hier mit einer Gruppe von rund 20 Personen den runden Geburtstag meiner Mutter gefeiert- es war hervorragend! Ellis ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und so zuvorkommend, freundlich und setzt alles daran, jedem Gast einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Die Küche außergewöhnlich, rundum lecker, wunderschön anzusehen und in angemessenen Portionen. Alle Gäste waren begeistert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und wünschen Ellis, Cederic und ihrem Team nur das Beste. Macht bitte so weiter!

A delicious wine arrangement, home-baked bread, a nice cozy atmosphere, clean cutlery, clean beautiful glasses, separate crockery... everything in tip-top condition! De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn supervriendelijk en hebben hart voor de zaak, de gerechten en de gasten. Kortom een aanrader wanneer je erg lekker wilt eten en drinken in Roermond!

Très belle expérience culinaire avec des goûts recherchés et maîtrisés à 100%. Nous avons opté pour le menu Summer Feelings en 5 services. Coup de cœur pour la Paella 🥘. Concernant le vin, je recommande le pinot noir « Santé Gertrude » conseillé par la patronne. Un plaisir et une longueur en bouche 🍷 L’accueil se veut chaleureux, ce qui nous a fait apprécier d’autant plus notre moment. Nous y retournerons avec certitude lors de notre prochain voyage à Roermond.

This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food. The tables are comfortable but there aren't many so it is a good idea to book. They offer a menu in English if you need it. The duck was delicious. We had excellent service from all the servers and would love to visit again next time we are in Roermond.

When everything comes together from a warm welcome and attentive staff to a varied selection of excellent and balanced seasonal dishes and amuses changing every few months in a good atmosphere. Also on the second visit still looking forward to the next.

All round 5* from me! The 6 course menu & wine flight was excellently presented and explained. The food was prepared very well with detail and finesse. Tastes were good and considered. For a Monday night in Roermond I doubt you will find better... The atmosphere was great and most tables were filled. I'll be back. Only thing I didn't like much was a Belgian red wine, but you can't love everything and I learned from it! :)

Nice modern restaurant in the center of Roermond. Young enthusiastic team! Super friendly and knowledgeable. A lot of attention has been paid to the dishes and you can taste and see it. I thought the price/quality ratio of the wine was on the high side. But that's personal. All in all definitely worth a visit!

Een heerlijke avond gehad met smaakvolle amuses. Daarna een reeks top gerechten, een sympathieke chef en fijne gastvrouw die bijzondere wijnen weet te kiezen en presenteren.

Rundum gelungener Abend Wir sind durch die sehr guten Bewertungen auf Het Gerecht aufmerksam geworden und können uns diesen nur anschließen. Zuerst das wichtigste, die Speisen. Wir durften das Menü zum 4-jahrigen Bestehen genießen. Sehr fein abgestimmte und auch teils überraschende Kombinationen von verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen ergaben ein abgerundetes Geschmackserlebnis. Mein persönlicher Favorit war die Variationen von Sellerie mit Rote Beete-Ingwer Eis. Aber nicht nur der Geschmack der Gerichte war hervorragend, auch die Präsentation zeugte von viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Weinbegleitung stand dem Menü in keinster Weise nach. Teils überraschend, aber immer perfekt auf den Teller abgestimmt. Das Auge isst bekanntermaßen mit und wurde nicht nur durch die ansehnliche Präsentation auf dem Teller beglückt, auch die gesamte Inneneinrichtung ist seht gut abgestimmt und trifft zumindest unseren Geschmack. Was auch nicht unwichtig ist, die Stühle sehen nicht nur gut aus, man kann auch wunderbar über Stunden bequem darin sitzen. Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal hier und planen bereits den nächsten Besuch mit Freunden.

Goddelijke gerechtjes … heerlijke combinaties, hier kom ik zeker terug

Een top restaurant om op een toegankelijke manier kennis te maken met de haute cuisine. Ons diner duurde ongeveer 4 uur, met een amuse, brood, 5 gangen, koffie met lekkers en nog een verrassing tussen de gangen door. Elk gerecht was bijzonder. Ik eet zelden vlees en vis maar ben blij dat ik voor deze avond een uitzondering heb gemaakt. Ook voor alcoholvrije opties denkt het personeel met je mee.

An absolutely fantastic dining experience. We had the 6 course meal with the wine pairing. The service was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable. The place itself is nice and small, so you're dining in a very relaxed atmosphere. The matching wines were amazing and I loved that they picked some local wines as well. And finally, the food was outstanding. Not only visually, but very flavourful and interesting combinations well. Would highly recommend!

Wir durften in diesem Restaurant ein sehr gutes Essen genießen. Alle Speisen der Karte waren von hervorragender Qualität und Frische und die einzelnen Aromen waren harmonisch kombiniert. Service und Bedienung waren ebenso gut. Viele leckere Grüße aus der Küche haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem kulinarische n Erlebnis gemacht. Sehr empfehlenswert.
