The sushi was tasty. Unfortunately, things went wrong when ordering dessert. There was a dead insect in my bowl of ice cream…

Everything was delicious, I definitely enjoyed it. However, when I call, there is no room except outside or after 8:00 PM. I wasn't convinced and had my wife call again right away, and then there was room. 5 minutes later we arrived and there was plenty of room :) I didn't say anything about it, otherwise I'd ruin my day :))

Ate here last week. It wasn't good. The sushi didn't seem fresh, and the service was slow to get going. I ended up with a stomach ache from the food and the high price.

Unfortunately, Ida is not what it used to be. It's still nice, but not like it used to be. What really needs to be done there is a thorough cleaning and a new interior; what is there now is really worn out.

Had an excellent Japanese meal with my friends. Incredibly tasty dishes and a very pleasant, relaxed Asian atmosphere in the restaurant. The prices are also great. Highly recommended for a nice meal out!

The menu isn't necessarily any more special than other sushi and grill restaurants, but what they serve is really good. Good quality, good taste. Definitely recommended!

The food was top-notch, the service was fine, the only downside was the broken air conditioning, which forced us to sit in the hot outside air. But, oh well, there are people who have it worse, so if that is the only thing, we will surely come back again to enjoy the delicious sushi dishes once more.

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill fast. The sushi is mediocre, the chicken salad is fried chicken from the freezer, and the selection is very limited for the price. The staff consists mainly of clumsy youngsters (no offense intended). One of them was meowing the whole time 😅. A waste of money…

I have been to Ida's very often, because I really like the food and it is a beautiful restaurant where you can usually sit comfortably. Unfortunately, yesterday was a huge disappointment and a waste of our money. We had reserved in advance, of course; when we arrived, we were given the option of sitting upstairs or downstairs next to the door, not further into the restaurant downstairs. Once we got upstairs, once we were seated, I quickly noticed that it was so hot that I almost felt unwell; it was that hot by that large window. The rest of the restaurant was almost empty, and yet we were seated there. I didn't want to be a nuisance by asking to be moved... In hindsight, we should have done that, because the other people who were seated there did... We were too polite and eventually just left as soon as possible after dinner. Unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy it; it was really unpleasant. If the air conditioning is broken and it is 29 degrees outside, don't seat people by the glass wall...

Had a delicious meal. Dishes arrived quite quickly. Modern, atmospheric decor. Friendly staff. It would be thoughtful to clearly name the dishes when bringing them to the table.

I was here for lunch with my son, and there wasn't much atmosphere, partly because there were no other guests. Otherwise, the food was delicious!

We ate at Ida's again today after a long time, but unfortunately, it wasn't what it used to be. Poor service, unfriendly (they seemed unmotivated), and the order was brought after 17 minutes and really wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, we do not recommend it.

One of my go-to restaurants. The sushi is (usually) very fresh and I find the menu super varied. It is a nice place to sit, and especially when the weather is nice, it is lovely to sit outside on the terrace. The last few times, the music was very loud. This makes it a bit harder to chat with each other.

The food has been good for years. The restaurant is in dire need of maintenance, though. The benches are torn, the toilet looks dirty, and the furniture is simply worn out. Just spruce things up.

The food wasn’t that great, service was pretty normal and there is real atmosphere. All the good sushi options are extra on top of all you can eat prices.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a pleasant experience here. We went here for dinner after work, but it was disappointing. The interior looks very outdated, with furniture that has clearly seen better days. Furthermore, the service was poor; we didn't feel particularly welcome and had to wait a long time. It's a shame, because that's why we won't be eating here again anytime soon.

The service felt dry, they just drop off your food and leave you alone with no explanation about each dish. The staff look like they didn’t feel like serving us and is barely smiling. The food was edible, but some were overcooked or didn’t have as much flavor. The mussels were good, but it probably won’t be my first recommendation.

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but I didn't like the food at all. I asked for cutlery and was given a large serving spoon. Not going back!

The food was good, but the menu had limited options. I also didn't understand the decision not to include sashimi in the all-you-can-eat menu, but I didn't understand the desserts. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was very elegant. 4 stars because, in my opinion, the price was a bit high for an all-you-can-eat menu.

The food was truly delicious; everything looked beautiful and tasted fresh. The optional extras were affordable and above and beyond. Definitely a place to return to.

A warm welcome. We were given an explanation of how it works, even though we knew the concept and what the menu had to offer. Very nice! The sushi was delicious, but the shrimp tempura was lukewarm, as were the beef pieces, otherwise fine. It was a shame one dish wasn't available to order. I wondered how this dish was out of stock. A different music selection would have been nice, a bit softer, but two screaming children outdid that. It's not a problem, kids will be kids.

Good food and a nice place overall. It's a shame we were placed upstairs in the back, as there's no view there, just taped-up windows.

Great restaurant with fresh sushi and staff that puts service first.

The sushi was fine, but the rest wasn't. Much of the food was dry and lacked flavor.

The staff and the shift manager have absolutely no idea what adequate customer service means. Trying to follow the restaurant’s rules — which make no sense in my situation — the shift manager saw no better option than to kick me out of the restaurant. I came here to have dinner on August 20th around 6 PM. The rules they enforce are completely ridiculous for single guests — according to their “all-you-can-eat” concept, you are only allowed to sit at a large table with an uncomfortable chair. I wanted to sit on the couch at a small table. This rule might make sense if there were several people, because of the number of plates brought to the table — but I was alone. Moreover, just yesterday, when a much more descent and competent staff was working, I sat at that exact same couch and had no problems at all. The waiter yesterday initially also asked me to move, but then used his common sense and told me I could stay at the table I preferred. This evening started the same way — the waiter told me to move. I explained that I had just eaten at that same table yesterday and everything was fine. He had the nerve to make me prove I was really there yesterday. I showed him the receipt, but that wasn’t enough — he called the manager. But today it was a different manager, not the one from yesterday. He came over with a very self-important attitude and told me I couldn’t sit on the couch. I’ve seen him here before — he used to deliver dishes just fine. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to make him a shift manager? When I responded that the table was perfectly suitable for me and that I had just sat there yesterday without issue, he said that it had been an exception — and told me to go. Just like that: “You may leave.” I was completely shocked by his rudeness. An employee like that — who has no ability to communicate with people — should never be put in a management position. He discredits the entire restaurant with his unprofessional behavior. It felt like someone had temporarily left him in charge while the adults weren’t home, and he suddenly decided he was some kind of supreme manager, ruler of chopsticks and tablecloths. He doesn’t understand the basics of working in the hospitality industry, where the goal is not only to serve good food, but also to welcome guests. He doesn’t get that a manager’s job is to de-escalate conflicts and explain why certain rules exist — and that those rules are meant to serve the comfort of guests, not to create meaningless restrictions. He didn’t even understand the purpose of the rule he was enforcing — he just kept repeating like a robot: “It’s the restaurant policy.” It’s always frustrating to deal with people who blindly follow rules without using their judgment or taking circumstances into account. Apparently, this restaurant has too many customers, so they don’t even try to attract new ones — quite the opposite, they push away anyone who doesn’t blindly fit the system, instead of making their rules work for the guests. My evening was completely ruined. Needless to say, I will never come back. Thankfully, there are plenty of other sushi places in the area where you can enjoy your meal without being treated with arrogance and disrespect.

Delicious food as always, delivery went smoothly. One dish I never received. But then I reordered it and it arrived, so no problem. Highly recommended if you love sushi.

Ate at Ida's for the first time. The restaurant is dingy and definitely needs a makeover. The restrooms are filthy! That immediately gives me a bad experience. The food was decent. Not bad, but not great either. Very hot and stuffy inside.

I ate here again last Tuesday. The food was delicious and well-seasoned, no complaints at all. The staff was friendly and attentive. However, the restaurant itself is definitely in need of a makeover. For example, there was a piece of cloth hanging from a ventilation grille, wallpaper was peeling in several places, and the whole place didn't look particularly clean. That detracts from the overall experience, even though the food is certainly good. With some attention to maintenance and appearance, this would be a much more pleasant place to dine. Hopefully, they'll address that, because the foundation (delicious food and friendly staff) is definitely there!

Go eat here! Upon arrival, the staff acted very focused on my situation. In addition, the table was thoroughly cleaned by the staff, which made us feel that everything was in order in terms of hygiene. The sushi and side dishes were really delicious. It was also nice to see how positive, cheerful and enthusiastic the staff interacted with each other. That contributed to a good atmosphere in the restaurant. If we are here again, we will definitely come back!

I have eaten in many sushi restaurants but IDA remains my all-time favorite. Sometimes in an all-inclusive, something goes wrong. But absolutely not here. I don't live nearby but I keep coming back. Also top service!!!!!!

I recently ate at IDA in Almere Stad and it was a very good experience! The concept where you have two hours to taste different dishes works perfectly. The location itself is attractive and modern, which contributes to a pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious, with the katsu chicken and mushrooms in teriyaki sauce being absolute recommendations. Both dishes were well seasoned and beautifully presented. There was plenty of choice on the menu, so there was something tasty for everyone. The service was also top notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and it was nice that drinks were poured at the table. A small downside is that drinks are not included in the price, so the bill ends up being slightly higher than expected. All in all a successful evening with good food and good service. I will definitely come back here again!

The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant, cozy and relaxed. Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience extra enjoyable. Unfortunately, there was one lady who seemed very unfriendly, which put a damper on an otherwise fantastic evening. It's not nice to get your food from someone who is so uninterested and unfriendly. All in all a nice place with delicious food, but the hospitality of all employees would top it all off!

I went through the Fork app thinking there would be a discount, but there wasn't, and then I saw the employees gathered around talking and laughing at me because I thought there would be a discount through the app. I'm not going back to that place again.

The food is fine. However, too much black pepper in many dishes. The atmosphere determines where you are assigned a table. Service is fast during the week, so you don't have to wait long for your food.

I must honestly admit that I was really positively surprised. Food was good service was good. In short, highly recommended!!!

I'm updating my review. It has improved since a while ago. Fast service and it has become cleaner. The toilets are still a point of attention. If you come with the two of you, you often sit at a small table, which is a pity, you would rather have a slightly larger seat.

Better all you can eat option in Almere. The fries and tempura are a bit less, but the maki and hot dishes are recommended. Reservations are important.

My son and I had a great time there on Christmas Day. Good atmosphere, pleasant and helpful staff. And good food. We will definitely go back again.

Delicious food, service was excellent

The food (sushi in many variations) is really good. The speed at which it is served is also great. The alertness of the people in the service regarding drinks is also good. The only comment I could give is that the restaurant is not very atmospheric. But it is highly recommended if you are with good company and don't mind noise around you.

Everything could be a little better.

Regular tradition to have lunch here. We also had dinner last week in the evening and that was also delicious and enjoyable. I still think it is a disadvantage that you have to order via your own phone, the tablet was much clearer. But the food is very tasty! The food was so delicious that I didn't have time to take a photo of a full plate. ;)

Super delicious food. Friendly staff and the atmosphere was good. This is definitely recommended for all you can eat sushi. I asked if we could start a little later than our reservation and that was no problem. You order the food using a QR code and your own telephone. It's all pretty easy. The food arrived quickly despite the crowds.

We are experienced sushi lover family , this restaurant was good but doesn't have that many options in sushi which standard restaurant has.

The sushi was great! Just the right temperature and super fresh! The sushi was also not too big, so you can also taste many of the other dishes! Also nice to see how the sushi is presented and that we could see that the chef made the sushi fresh. That's really what sets Ida apart from other AYCE. Furthermore, a wide choice of teppanyaki and deep fryers. Everything was brought to the table hot. That sometimes goes wrong at AYCE restaurants, but not here! Tempura prawns tasted great and looked attractive too. The other dishes were also the same. See images. Service also excellent, I also stopped by in between to ask if everything was to your liking. Beautiful restaurant and the best sushi in Almere. Definitely worth going again.
