Restaurant Jasmijn in Abcoude

Fantastic, friendly service...you feel appreciated as a guest...highly recommended...ate here for the second time...great atmosphere in the restaurant too!

We regularly drive throughout the Netherlands to eat, and this time we chose the local Chinese restaurant in Abcoude. We went for the surprise menu, and it was truly surprising: delicious, creative, and more than enough. The service was young, but excellent, and the atmosphere was great. The only downside we experienced was the way our visit ended. After paying the bill, we were more or less left to our own devices. Our coats were hanging in a locked cloakroom, so we ended up asking if we could get them ourselves. A quick escort to the door and a friendly farewell would have completed the experience, as we often expect at such events. Nevertheless, we definitely recommend it. The surprise menu, in particular, is absolutely worth it!

It was very tasty. A better Chinese restaurant. And the staff was exceptionally friendly.

Both the takeaway food and, above all, the food served in the restaurant were fantastic. We haven't had such a delicious meal in a long time. The staff is extremely friendly but never intrusive. The food was served quickly. Reservations are recommended.

Had a great meal at Jasmijn. Good menu with good choices and rijsttafel is also highly recommended. We had a birthday and we were well spoiled and the service was also fantastic. Nice interaction with the staff and good value food. It is advisable to make a reservation first because it is often quite full on a weekday.

Nous sommes allés dîner ce soir dans ce restaurant très bien noté et nous n'avons pas du tout été déçus. Super accueil de la part du monsieur, nos 2 plats, boeuf spicy et boeuf sésame étaient un vrai délice, malgré la quantité abondante nous avons tout mangé ! Merci encore !

Hospitable, friendly people who provide customer-oriented service perfectly and the dog is allowed

The dishes were fresh and very tasty. The spring rolls are filled with fresh crispy vegetables and tender chicken and are not greasy. They taste really fresh and not like "old fat" as I have often experienced elsewhere. The lemon chicken (or chicken in lemon sauce) is also delicious and with lots of fresh crunchy vegetables. This restaurant is not in my own area but in my mother-in-law's hometown. And whenever we eat there or pick up food, everything is very well taken care of and tasteful. In addition, the employees are always very friendly and hospitable.

A Chinese restaurant that has unfortunately adapted a little too much to the taste buds of the average Dutch person. If you are used to food with taste, this is really a big disappointment. The service was excellent by the way.

The food is always ready quickly and the staff are friendly but I find the overall quality mediocre compared to other Chinese places in the area.

My favorite restaurant in Abcoude for over 20 years. Whether I come from Brabant Vinkeveen or Loosdrecht, I like to take a detour.

Jasmijn Abcoude, I regularly visit this restaurant and always experience very spontaneous and good service from the staff. The spontaneity and food are optimal, and the quality has been well maintained over the years. It is clearly a family business, which you notice in the way they interact; the service is top quality. I often order different dishes, but there are too many to mention them all. Recommend checking out the menu for yourself. Both the owner and Wai Chi and Ching Chi Cheung are very qualified and do their work with heart and soul. I always get my special drink, and my cassis is always ready. Very friendly and helpful service, excellent quality of dishes and cozy atmosphere. I have already been able to visit many Chinese restaurants, but as far as I am concerned, Jasmijn is certainly in the highest regions. I definitely plan to come back here more often (although it is quite a bit of a drive...).

Came all the way from North Brabant to visit a friend, changed there by him, delicious food, very nice service, beautifully clean and even the owner is a sweet and gentle girl. We will definitely come back if we happen to be in the area. Ps I'm picky about food ✌️

Busy restaurant on Friday evenings at 7 p.m. We had not made a reservation, but one of the waiters thought along with us and told us that one couple was about to pay. After about 10 minutes we still had a table: great!

We always get food from this restaurant. What is recommended are 3 meals for €25. We always get 2x 3 meals for €25. Enough for 6 adults and some little ones and 6 different menus. So recommended

What a dirty Chinese, quality has deteriorated considerably

Dutchified Chinese cuisine. If that's what you want, then this is the place for you. OK food but not overly.

Ohne Reservierung kamen wir 40 Min vor der eigentlichen Öffnungszeit an. Mit Kindern und Hund (akzeptiert wenn er sich ruhig verhält). Der Service war stets äußerst freundlich und nahm sich Zeit. Ausführlich wurden Speisen in englischer und teilweise deutscher Sprache erklärt. Es gab eine Karte mit englischer Übersetzung. Lokal und Toiletten waren sehr sauber. Die Speisen waren alle sehr gut. Wir waren insgesamt äußerst zufrieden. Ein Lokalaufenthalt wie man ihn sich wünscht.

Picked up Babi pangang and duck dish. It tasted like reheated food from yesterday. The babi pangang is especially tough. We won't go there again. Price quality poor.

Have eaten here several times, in varying compositions, in a group and just the two of you....... and every time pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer friendliness and the delicious food. You really feel like a guest here and at the same time you feel a kind of family bond because the owner immediately knows you by name and is very pleasant to deal with. The food is really of a high quality, no matter what time or when you come in, it is always delicious and more than sufficient in quantity. You'll keep coming back here, no doubt about it!@

Delicious food, lamb chops with black pepper sauce and tenderloin strips, banana flambe and black sesame sauce for dessert. We will be back soon to taste the rest of the menu! Great service and delicious hot dishes.

Very nice reception, coats are accepted, you are welcomed and immediately asked what you want to drink, fast service, very polite and time for a joke and delicious food, rarely eaten so well and beautifully laid out plates and bowls. Really great...our compliments..👍👍👍

Heerlijke indische rijsttafel gegeten in het knusse restaurant voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Niet gereserveerd doch wel een tafel gekregen van uiterst vriendelijke en professionele personeel. De rijsttafel bestond uit diverse lekker bereide gerechten welke bovendien uit kraakverse producten bestond. Het was allemaal even smaakvol.

Prima ervaring bij Jasmijn. Vriendelijke ontvangst, mooie en nette zaak. Leuke kaart, lekkere gerechten en vlot geserveerd. Twee gerechten met lekkere gebakken nasi. Prijs/kwaliteit in orde. Alleen de wijntjes met euro 5,50 aan de dure kant.

The staff has been incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere and energy of the restaurant are very calming and relaxing setting. Food is delicious and worth every penny. Great way to celebrate with a loved one or a fun simple date night. Recommend and approve.

Super friendly staff..delicious food, really super fresh and you can taste it..I eat gluten-free and the boss comes to the table to go through the dishes with you..nothing is too much and he thinks along with you..a lot of understanding and tasty combinations...again soon!

What a discovery! Too many people think of Chinese food only as 'no 13 with sambal', but there is so much more. And it can be so tasty! Especially if it is prepared fresh and with a lot of skill and love. And that's what they do at Jasmijn. Their personal attention, friendliness, thoughtfulness and good service make the meal complete! Completely worth a trip to Abcoude. We come back.
