A super delicious menu, and they clearly explain exactly what you'll be getting, where the ingredients come from, and if you have any allergies or dietary requirements, you can let them know, and they'll be happy to accommodate them. The atmosphere is lovely, relaxed, but very cozy. It feels like you're visiting someone for dinner. It's no wonder they have a 4.9-star rating on Google.

We dined at Kale & de Bril for the second time. It was another fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the service was also excellent. It's great that they take the time to explain the dishes, but also allow for personal conversations. We'd already planned to return every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but now we're absolutely sure!

We had a wonderful meal. It was quite an experience. We chose the 7-course menu with a wine pairing. Nothing was lacking. The service was very friendly. Everything was explained, from the wine to the dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Enjoyed it on a weekday Tuesday! Personal service was really great: preference was indicated in advance (no meat, no goat cheese) and this was nicely responded to. Furthermore, delicious wines that always surprise, nice explanation and a smile. Top address for an evening of fun with culinary experience! 👌🏻

Both the menu and the service were excellent. We had the 7 course menu incl. corresponding wines. Most courses were regional cuisine, excl. the fantastic cheese collections, and every one was a highlight. Wines matched fine and pricing was more than OK for this level of cuisine.

Kale en De Bril. Wie is wie? 😉 De mannen staan samen in de open keuken met één afwashulp. Voor twee jonge dames. Mannen komen regelmatig zelf iets serveren. Alles is zo lekker. En prachtige bordjes. Echt! En zo een relaxte sfeer. Alles klopt. De gerechten, de wijnen, de uitleg. Hier wordt met plezier en passie fantastisch gewerkt.

Wij komen graag bij 'Kale en de Bril', elke keer weten zij ons weer op culinair gebied te verrassen. Het zijn zowel de smaakcombinaties als de 'bite'. Ook de vegetarische gang in hrt keuzemenu is heerlijk. Het hele team geeft je de belevenis van een avond uit.

Wij kozen voor het 6 gangen diner, vooraf een lekkere amuse. Heerlijke gerechten en mooi opgemaakt. Het wijnareagrment erbij is een aanrader. De bediening was erg goed, ze hadden veel aandacht voor de gasten. De eigenaren (koks) kwamen ook geregeld een gang aan tafel brengen, en waren ook erg gastvrij. Kortom het was een feestje om hier te eten.

Wij wilden weer eens lekker naar Kale & de Bril dus eind van de middag gebeld, helaas geen plaats voor 3. Een minuut later werden we teruggebeld en hadden ze toch ruimte gemaakt om ons te ontvangen, dat is klasse. Leuke ontvangst en personeel wat hun uiterste best doet. Een vijfgangen menu en dat was prima, in plaats van een bob arrangement biedt men een pairing aan met non alcoholische cocktails en dat was meer dan verrassend en heel lekker. Mijn partner nam een wijnarrangement maar daar waren we net iets minder enthousiast over dan de cocktails. Ik vind dit een fantastisch alternatief. Je krijg als gast echt aandacht en dat is erg aangenaam. dus ook deze keer weer prima genoten

A must eat here for vegans! Really delicious food, every dish is a flavor explosion in your mouth. Super nice people who work here, all fantastic. It is really much more than just eating out, in another restaurant you will also spend this amount for 3 courses. They also have an affordable wine list with all kinds of delicious wines. Fantastic that they can make a vegan dinner at this level, the hour and a half drive was more than worth it!!!

Wie een avondje wat anders wil, gaat hier een keertje uit eten. Wij hebben ons al vaker laten verrassen door de heerlijke smaken en texturen. Je kiest een aantal gangen en krijgt allerlei lekkers met bijv uitleg over de herkomst en samenstelling. Leuk. Lekker!

Lekkere stoelen, rustig zonder hinder van anderen terwijl het restaurant vol was. Hele goede bediening. Met passie werden de gerechten toegelicht. Ook was er tijd voor een ‘praatje’ Kortom, een aanrader als je heerlijk wilt eten. Onderscheidend. Goed om te weten dat er om de twee weken een nieuw menu gepresenteerd wordt.

We stayed at Kale & de Bril with a friend and two dogs. The food was fantastic. We had the standard menu as a 6 or 7 course menu, and the 6 course lobster menu. All courses were excellent. The short-term information (when ordering the menu) about lactose intolerance was also implemented creatively and very tastefully. Regardless of whether the cooks themselves or the service staff brought the courses to the table, each course was described individually and the origin of the ingredients was explained. The evening was very entertaining, although we were able to enjoy the individual skewers over the course of 3.5 hours. The non-alcoholic cocktail accompaniment to the individual courses was also outstanding. This was the first time we had experienced such an alcohol-free alternative to wine accompaniment. All courses were outstanding.

Wij zijn door onze vrienden meegenomen naar dit pareltje in Goes. Wij hebben gekozen voor het 6 gangen menu met vlees en vis. Alle gangen smaakten heerlijk. Onze persoonlijke favorieten waren het gerecht met eend en het dessert. Maar kiezen was best lastig omdat alles heerlijk smaakte. Aanrader is het eigen aperitiefje.

T O P! The service is supported by the entire team. The interior is a cozy cognac color. Yes, that's my taste, crunchy and cognac. As said when leaving, only the Weever deserves a more subtle accompaniment on the plate. But to give one star less because of this does not do justice to the total.

Deze keer bewust gekozen voor alcoholvrije dranken per gerecht. Andermaal helemaal genieten. Ik hou van de informele sfeer, de vriendelijkheid, het ongedwongene, de verrassende gerechten... Elke keer als we hier komen worden we instant blij !

Waanzinnig lekker gegeten in een fijne, eigentijdse en informele setting (zou je vanaf de buitenkant niet zeggen). Zeer de moeite waard! De mannen koken mooi hoog op smaak en maken verrassende combinaties. Wat mij betreft misschien af en toe wat te veel smaken en ingrediënten, maakt het lastig álles te proeven. Amuses waren top, goede bijpassende wijnen en espresso met bonbons als afsluiter maakte onze avond helemaal af. We hebben genoten!

Vanaf ontvangst tot het einde werden we in een ongedwongen sfeer verwend door beide heren en hun collega’s. Het menu was van hoge kwaliteit en, zoals een bekend bandenmerk vaak stelt, een omweg waard.

Beautiful taste and wine experiences, nicely decorated, attentive service (somewhat inexperienced here and there regarding the level of the restaurant). It's been a few months since my girlfriend and I had dinner there (laziness and forgetting), but I promised to share my experience, so here we go. We had the adapted vegetarian menu twice and it was delicious, we didn't have to live so far away, we would come by every month. Friendliness and a nice place to eat.
