Messy. Not recommended for a large group. You don't get everything you order, and desserts are limited to two people, otherwise you have to pay extra.

We wanted to like it so bad, but we organised our christmas outing months ago for us to be disappointed. We were waiting 30 minutes for 2 / 3 rounds. We could order 3 times in this period ( without receiving anything. ) and we were just having to talk to each other about random stuff while growing more hungry. I rather have shabu shabu who delivers within 5 minutes !!! I rather have speed then food quality or posh. Food automatically tastes bad when service is slow. We paid the bill while 4 items were still missing.

The quality is truly superb. Above average for an all-you-can-eat sushi concept. They also spread everyone out well throughout the restaurant, so you're always able to find a quiet spot. The decor is beautiful. Every detail is perfect. I just wouldn't eat here with a vegetarian, as the options are quite limited and it's not always clear whether something is vegetarian. Let alone vegan, but vegans generally have a hard time in Waalwijk.

This place is out of this world. The menu is absolutely fantastic, everything is very clear when it comes to ordering, the pictures reflect the reality very well, and there is a big variety of food to choose from. Every time I'm coming here my mind is blown, can't recommend this place enough.

Today, October 25, we ate here for the first time at the invitation of friends, we really enjoyed it, nice atmosphere, lots of choice of various very tasty snacks, friendly and fast service, we will definitely come back.

The food was delicious! The fresh mussels are especially recommended. The staff is super friendly and the service is always excellent. They regularly add new dishes to the menu, which makes it a pleasant surprise every time. This is truly our favorite restaurant!

I had a great experience at Kengzo. It's a well-maintained restaurant, delicious food, and efficient staff who regularly check in. You see a lot of sushi restaurants these days that are rushed, with broken tablets, faulty furniture, and only teenagers serving. If you're unlucky, you might also end up with hard and tasteless sushi. That wasn't the case here. They have a varied menu with options like green asparagus with scallops or mussels in fish sauce. Something a bit different from the standard spring roll. The sushi was also delicious, so I highly recommend it!

We've dined at this wonderful restaurant several times. The all-inclusive concept with no time limit is a fantastic formula. The staff is incredibly friendly, and ordering is quick and easy via the tablet on the table. We're always surprised by the new dishes on offer. The chef's prawn, roll by Kengzo, and the beef tataki are among our favorites. Parking is easy and free behind the restaurant.

This is my FAVORITE sushi-all-you-can-eat place in the Netherlands! It is so good, and I have been dining in at least three times since my colleague recommended this place to me last summer. The top three things that make this restaurant different from other places: 1) There is NO time limit! Most of the all-you-can-eat places in the Netherlands set a time limit of 2 or 2,5 hours. But this one, you can stay as long as you would like to! 2) You DON’T need to pay extra for Sashimi, while in most of the other restaurants, you have to pay extra for each Sashimi that you order (to be honest, I don’t understand why those restaurants still call this all-you-can-eat…) 3) Soooo spacious! Most of the sushi places that I have been to – in big cities – are pretty crowded – table-to-table distance, etc. But this one is very comfyyyyy! I highly recommend this place! ALWAYS call to make a reservation first ;-) Enjoyyyyy!

When I called just after 8 p.m. that we were stuck in a traffic jam, a suitable solution was immediately provided and, even though the kitchen would close at 10 p.m., we were still able to eat our fill! + Super friendly service + Thinking along about possibilities + Incredibly delicious food! - Would prefer to be allowed to choose 3 or 4 pieces per round - You're just too far away from my hometown + You're just too far away from my hometown 🤑 Thank you very much for this wonderful end to our fun day!

Yesterday we decided to eat here after a weekend away. We arrived at 6:30 PM and the restaurant was quite full. When we placed the first order we had to wait 30 minutes for the first dish, we had already asked for service on the tablet several times but no one came. When I indicated after 40 minutes that this was really the end for us and that we wanted the drinks bill, the waitress said she was going to get a manager. After this, another girl came to tell us that it was normal that the sushi queue was 40 minutes, but the wok was only 20 minutes, this is for 1 piece of sushi... we had never heard these times before, but she indicated the food from the first rounds immediately. We indicated that we did not want anything more and that we would go if these were really the waiting times. She then had to go get the manager again to arrange this and she came with the bill. Now comes the worst. She indicates that if we did not want to wait so long we should not come on Saturday (everyone around us received new food within 5 minutes at a rapid pace) that they also lost money because of this and so there was apparently another problem, but we didn't get the chance to solve it. I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant and we paid and left. I don't understand how the blame was placed on us when apparently it was a mistake on their side. We left very pissed off and ordered sushi. Cheaper, faster and friendlier. We will not be back on Saturday either Reply to comment: This is not what happened. I indicated that it was not personal to the waitress and she indicated that something had definitely gone wrong on your side. We had 1 dish from round 1 and when we paid, 2 dishes from round 2 arrived. After waiting 40 minutes we had 3 dishes. We were very hungry at the time and there was no other restaurant where we could have a nice meal at 7:20 PM. I was not satisfied with the solution and certainly not with what we were told about the cause. That colleague can probably confirm that we still left very angry. The solution was to simply pay for what we had and leave without any consideration and then we were also blamed for the fact that you were missing out on money because of this. Just tell the good story neatly. We also said and showed exactly what is stated here on Google in the restaurant. The comment about McDonalds only came when we were leaving and the advice not to come on Saturday if you don't want to wait that long was already the first time we mentioned the problem. Judging from your reaction, it is not really possible to talk to you, which we also noticed on the evening itself. A manager was supposed to be brought in, but he didn't come, so we just got a colleague, but it's not nice that you don't admit your mistakes and the things that were said. This is more of a warning to people who wait a long time for food and say something about it.

The food was excellent, there was a lot of choice and that was very nice. It took a very long time before we were served our food. You could order 2 dishes per round, but with the long waiting time for the food, this was just a bit too little.

We were at the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. The place was very busy. It is divided into several sections, and since it was our first time, we didn't know we could choose to sit in a different part of the restaurant. The food was good and served quickly. The drinks had a lot of ice. The staff was friendly. I recommend it.

Out of all the restaurants, this is one of my favorite. You have a huge choice of delicious food. And if you don't like fish, like me, there is still plenty of choice on the menu. I've been here about seven times and it's always great to eat here. The service is fantastic and the location is also great. So after a day at Efteling I would recommend this!

Een personeelsuitje met een groep collega’s. Vooraf gebeld wat er mogelijk was ivm complexe allergieën voor diverse specerijen, oregano en kaas. Dit was geen enkel probleem en goede afspraken kunnen maken. De avond zelf was de bediening al op de hoogte. Ik kon kiezen wat ik wilde en als iets niet aangepast kon worden zou mij dat worden verteld. De bestelling ging via een briefje en de service knop. De keuze was zeer uitgebreid. Bijna alles wat ik bestelde kon worden aangepast. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en keek zo nodig de ingrediënten na. Heerlijk gegeten, een supervriendelijke bediening en een ruime keus in wat mogelijk was. Chapeau! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

I found the food very mediocre, almost all the meat is in the same teriyaki sauce. I thought it was very pricey for what you get. The sushi was tasty but not wow. I found the atmosphere of the restaurant very bare and cold. The service was very good, a girl by the name of Maud was super friendly and attentive, so compliments for her. I certainly enjoyed the evening, but unfortunately it's not a place I would return to anytime soon.

Nice meal. Good service, no time limit, you can eat at your leisure with a group without time pressure. I personally find the part where we sat less attractive. At the back of the restaurant there were places that radiated more atmosphere. All in all it was a successful evening out.

Delicious Sushi, very extensive choice, recommended

Was the 1st time but thought it was special. The choice was a lot of sushi to pokebowl and fried things . You can order 2 things every 10 minutes and then again and so on. The desserts are also tasty. My experience is simply wonderful. 40,- pp, but drinks are added and it is quite pricey for 200 ml 3.70. (I would think 3.70 for 330 ml is better) I will definitely come back here.

Everyone deserves a second chance, but today I was back on the toilet after the 2nd chance. I don't know what's happening in the kitchen, but it doesn't make me happy. Never again there for me

This restaurant is definitely recommended!! The two of us had a delicious all-you-can-eat meal at Kengzo restaurant in Waalwijk! Both food and drinks are ordered via the tablet. The sushi and side dishes were very tasty. The cherry cheesecake cocktail and spekkoek ice cream are highly recommended!

The first series of snacks arrived quickly. Later we kept missing dishes from one series that did not arrive or only during the next series. Sushi tasted good, but wasn't exceptional. Baked, fried and roasted dishes were very bland, although the degree of doneness (e.g. steak) was fine. These dishes were also very one-sidedly accompanied by sweet chili sauce. Lamb seemed to be served with a sauce from a jar.

Eating sushi just a bit differently...delicious

Kengzo has been our favorite sushi restaurant for years. Very extensive menu with something for everyone. No time limit so you can enjoy an evening of dining. The sushi is fresh and very tasty! We think easy ordering on the tablet is a plus.

Delicious Sushi. And various Chinese dishes of duck. Lamb. Gamba soups garlic Fried steak etc highly recommended.

Unfortunately not a great experience. We ate here with 7 people, including 2 children. Only 2 dishes could be ordered per person per round and since it took a very long time, this was very annoying with hungry children. All in all we spent more time waiting than eating. After this we went to the fair to get something to eat because we left hungry. We had the feeling that the staff would rather not have children there anyway.

By far the best sushi place as far as I'm concerned. With a wide comparison. Regular customer for a number of years. Quality of the food is excellent. Enough seating space. Service always good. Regular staff. Also in the kitchen. Quality is always the same.

Been here and find it similar to yutakana and sakana. Personally, I prefer another sushi restaurant, won't be back here anytime soon, but the food is certainly tasty. Will definitely recommend it!

Excellent food, excellent service.

When we entered the restaurant, we immediately noticed the trees at the entrance. The staff was also ready for us right away. We were led through the restaurant to our table, as we walked all the bamboo stretches were very noticeable. When we went to order, the limit of 2 portions per person was disappointing. Furthermore, the quality of the food was really nothing to regret, the only drawback was the limit.

Staff were very friendly. It was very quiet (I think around 8 full tables), so the food came very quickly but was very fresh. Because it was so quiet, there was much less atmosphere. Lots of options to choose from and there was also plenty of choice for non-sushi lovers. You can choose 2 dishes per person per round and this is more than enough, because you can really sit indefinitely.

Passed by by chance and very glad we went in. All you can eat but made to order and very good. Also the high quality sushi instead of that refrigerator junk at the food sheds. Everything was easy via the tablet which worked well and was quickly on the table, sushi taco seen for the first time and great. Drinks are on the expensive side at €3.5 for 200ml of Coke, but that's the only thing. The restaurant is large, but you didn't notice it until you visited the toilet. All cozy little corners have been created and nicely decorated. Highly recommended!

Per toeval langskomen en erg blij dat we naar binnen gegaan zijn. All you can eat maar op bestelling gemaakt en erg goed. Ook de sushi van hoge kwaliteit ipv die koelkast troep bij de vreetschuren. Alles makkelijk via de tablet wat goed werkte en snel op tafel, sushi taco voor t eerst gezien en geweldig. Drinken wel aan de dure kant €3,5 voor 200ml Cola maar das dan ook t enige. Restaurant is groot maar heb je compleet niet door kwamen er pas bij toilet bezoek achter. Allemaal gezellige kleine hoekjes gecreëerd en leuk ingericht. Zeker een aanrader!

Many cold dishes, and a few dishes we didn't have. This was indicated to the staff who were not really friendly. When paying, it was also stated that the food was cold and had to wait too long. The staff showed that they didn't care, the answer I got was: okay, you passed it on. Nice tent, but otherwise certainly not worth visiting again.

Ate here a few times in recent years. Quality is always good. Food always tastes good. Operation is nice and fast, just like ordering with the tablet. Previously you could order 5 dishes, now only 2. But you can still walk out with a full belly :) Prices are excellent, both for the all-in and drinks that you have to pay separately.

It's been a while since I was here, always delicious. The concept has changed, ordering on an iPad used to be time-bound, but that is no longer the case. Only 2 dishes per person per time, previously this was 5 per time. Food still delicious, but shocked by the drink prices, 7.50 for a bottle of Spa blue, and 5.60 for a glass of wine. The concept is now certainly good for the owner, people stay seated longer, may order as much as before, but they will drink more, which means more money in the drawer. Quality is good but the drinks are still way too expensive.
