Delicious food. Excellent service! We'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our dinner so much we came back a second night. Rekha was our server and she was great! The steak is excellent and they cooked it just how we liked it. The fries were perfect even after they cooled down. We definitely recommend this place, the quality level exceeds the price as well.

Relaxing atmosphere, South American music, unique decor, excellent food, beef cooked just right! We will come back every time we visit Amsterdam!

Very friendly hosts and excellent food! We were completely satisfied. We especially enjoyed the chimichurri, which gave the steak the perfect finishing touch!

It is a charcoal grill restaurant and you can definitely taste that! Delicious! They have of course lots of beef to choose from, but they also have a selection of fish. I don't think there is a lot of choice for vegetarians here. Usually I order delivery from here, their burgers are excellent for that. The service was very friendly and the steak was very juicy and even the fries melted in your mouth.

We ate very well there. (The ribs are excellent.) The waiter was very nice.

Another delicious meal at this cozy restaurant. They have a great menu with plenty of choices, but I'll keep getting the ribeye because it's so delicious. And affordable, which is important in these expensive times. Their white wine is delicious. But what I really appreciate is the friendliness of everyone who works there. A wonderful family business. See you soon!

We happen to catch their food truck along Museumkwartier during a weekend market. We had the pork belly sandwich and the portions were huge! The meat was tender and juicy with just the right amount of spices and sauce. The bread was not dry and it was toasted just right. The people manning the food truck were friendly and we didn’t wait long for our order to be served even if there was a line up. If you happen to see their truck, give their food a try. For €9 a sandwich, it was worth it. It is good enough to be shared between two people. They also have a Chicken alternative.

This is our first time visiting Amsterdam and we made a last-minute reservation at La Brasa for dinner for three. The restaurant is small and homely. The service is top! The menu offers charcoal-grilled meat dishes. Fish and shrimp complete the menu. Starters and main courses are of very good quality. Likewise the dessert. The price-performance ratio is excellent. We decided to eat here again on our second and final evening - tomorrow

I’ve walked by this restaurant a few times and finally decided to stop in for dinner last night. I ordered the ribeye steak 500g, which was excellent. The side salad was fresh and tasty, though the fries were a bit underwhelming. The service was friendly and efficient, with everything running smoothly, though it was a fairly quiet evening. Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try if you fancy some great steak.

We simply asked Google for restaurants near by and came up with La Brasa. It was perfect! Everything (lamb chops, sirloin steak and chicken) were all cooked to perfection. The wait staff were very accommodating and friendly. If you are in the Jordaan neighborhood it would be a great choice for dinner.

Very tasty food. Tender meat. Good price-quality ratio. Unremarkable from the outside and not much attention has been paid to the decoration. The service was great!

The food was terrific. My girlfriend only had the “Buenas Aires Mix” and I had the “Hot&Spicey Burger” and we both loved it. The owner and the service were super nice and the beer was very tasty - recommendation: Afflelig 🍻 (the white one 😉)

The food was okay but no more. If you sit inside the restaurant, you smell incredibly strongly of smoke afterwards. Obviously there is no ventilation and you smell like you've been sitting round a campfire. It was very unpleasant.

Very nice place to eat, the ambient upstairs is good for the eye and the meal was decent compared to prices around. The waiter was new, aber trotzdem freundlich. Sehr lecker!

Surprisingly good value steak and wine. Had 2 big steaks, couple of sides and sauce, with a bottle of house red. Came in at under €100, which we thought was excellent. Tasty food with decent service. Would happily go back here.

Excellent place to enjoy a casual dinner! Reasonable price and smooth service. I’d recommend sharing the three meat dish with two people. Very nicely prepared and the house red wine complimented it. Also the salmon and shrimp were delicious.

Bought two burgers today, they were very tasty. Meat is juicy and has a delicious charcoal flavor. Many toppings possible on the burger such as egg and mushrooms and including fries. The people were very nice too!!!!

Pleasant family restaurant with a quiet atmosphere and very good food at a very reasonable price. Upon arrival we were kindly received by the owner (/co-owner) and had a pleasant chat before we got around to ordering. The meat with the surf 'n turf was very tender and the accompanying prawn shrimp had a perfect texture. The brasa special burger that my girlfriend had was also well filled. The restaurant is certainly worth its good rating. Greetings to the 2 Belgians from last night.

Ate there yesterday, deliciously tender, perfectly grilled tenderloin. We enjoyed it very much and we will definitely go back.

Service good. Prime rib good. Very poor extraction... you can also see the cook baking in a cloud of smoke that spreads throughout the room.

Vrijdag 4-11 voor de 2-de maal in 2 weken hier gegeten met z’n 3-en. De complete familie was aan het werk. Wat een lieve leuke en aardige mensen die constant klaar staan om je te helpen in deze erg mooie en zeer gezellige zaak. Het eten was superlekker, malser kan gewoon niet, elk stukje had dezelfde heerlijke smaak. Toetjes waren ook heerlijk, aanrader is de Don Pedro of de Argentijnse koffie. Wij hopen hier snel weer te komen eten en de complimenten voor de kok

This was the 4th steak house we went to and by far the best in Amsterdam. I accidentally stumbled across it with a coal charcoal-cooked rib eye and never experienced one like that before. It was tender and like butter. All 6 of us had a great experience. Thank you to the owner, who has been operating here for 36 years 🙏they have perfected steak 👌

Komen al bijna 10 jaar bij La Brasa. Het is een gezellig (klein) familiebedrijf, waarbij het altijd voelt als ‘thuiskomen’. Het vlees is heerlijk en zeker de moeite waard om een uur voor in de auto te zitten. Ik raad het iedereen aan om hier te eten! :)

Um dos melhores restaurantes argentinos que conheci. As empanadas lembram as chilenas mas são de um sabor surpreendente, o molho chimichurri foi, sem dúvida, o melhor que experimentei na minha vida. As carnes vieram no ponto certo e em porções generosas. Atendimento muito bom. Gostaria de voltar lá, pena que moro no Brasil.

Domenica scorsa abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante. Essendo in cinque la scelta è ricaduta su pietanze diverse. Tutta carne ottima, tenera e ben cotta. Purtroppo l’ambiente era troppo caldo a causa della temperatura esterna e mancanza di condizionatori. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile!

Gezellig en vooral heerlijk eten. Vooral vlees.

Burger sind sehr gut geschmackig und saftig. Pommes natürlich auch gut. Bier war auch gut. Service sehr nett, für einen kleinen Plausch gibt es auch Zeit.

Les plats ont mis un peu de temps à arriver alors qu'on était peu dans le restaurant mais c'était vraiment excellent, j'ai pris les gambas de la Brasa, elles étaient vraiment bonnes et bien accompagnées. C'est vraisemblablement une affaire familiale, ce qui donnait une ambiance conviviale au repas.

Very disappointed given the high ratings. This place should not have such high ratings at this price point! They have the same price as some of the good steak restaurants but are very very far from the quality. Either the rating or price should lower, or the quality should increase. Cons: - My steak was cooked unevenly. I asked for Medium-Rare, but one side was Medium-Well, and the other size was more towards Rare.. - I ordered a Rib-eye and I got a piece of meat that barely has any fat. I've never had such a lean Rib-eye, and I wondered if it was even a rib-eye. - Waiter/boss did not understand what gluten are. I asked if there is gluten in the sauce and he said "Yes, there's milk in it". Be careful with food allergies. - Interior design is old-school and basic Pros: - Had a nice table by the window, and seats are comfy - Waiter/boss tried to be customer friendly

Lovely steak cooked to perfection.

Leuke en vooral heerlijke restaurant die op authentieke wijze al hun grill gerechten bereiden. Echt de moeite waard om eens te gaan eten. Super lief en goed personeel! Echt een familie bedrijf waar liefde voor klanten en eten voorop staat.

Een heel leuk restaurant waar we heerlijk hebben gegeten. Zeker een aanrader!
