Het was weer tijd om eens op niveau te gaan dineren in Almelo. De enige plek daarvoor is restaurant Ledeboer. De altijd vriendelijke en enthousiaste Rick Blanken en zijn jeugdige brigade hebben ons nog nooit teleurgesteld. De persoonlijke ontvangst betekent direct een warm welkom en perfecte start. Dit maal ook specifiek de complimenten voor de brigade. Ondanks de drukte blijven ze vriendelijk en attent en geven je de aandacht die je verdient. En dan de gerechten. Van de mondvermaakjes aan het begin tot en met de koffie en friandises aan het eind, alles klopt. Van opmaak tot portionering, van smaak tot afstemming met de begeleidende wijnen. Wat een voorrecht om zo’n fijne zaak in Almelo te mogen hebben. Wij hebben deze keer genoten van garnalen, schelvis, kabeljauw, runderlende met rosbief en zwezerik en tenslotte aardbei. Kijk naar de foto’s en realiseer je dan dat alles nog lekkerder smaakt dan het er al uitziet. Hulde mensen!

We hebben heerlijk genoten bij Ledeboer, de smaken in de gerechten kwamen heel mooi samen en er zaten erg verrassende combinaties bij. Bij de gerechten hadden we een wijnarrangement en de geur en smaken van de wijn gaven een echte toevoeging aan het eten. Al met al hebben we een topavond gehad met heerlijk eten!

Last Saturday we had a great meal. Welcome drink, amuses, 4-course dinner with wine, coffee with friandises, everything was great. Also experienced the service as very pleasant.

Everything has been taken care of down to the last detail, from the wines, including enthusiastic explanations, to the furnishings. Every dish is a celebration in itself and everything has been thought of. Highly recommended!

Al eerder een speciaal diner met Accordini wijnen meegemaakt en dat was geweldig kwa gangen, kwa (bijpassende) wijnen en super goede en vriendelijke bediening, en nu wederom een "special" diner met whiskey. Verschillende gangen en bij elke gang een andere whiskey met een mooi verhaal erbij. Bijzondere gerechten, bijzondere kombinaties, super goede service en een heel geslaagde avond. Een aanrader!

We were surprised and pampered with a five-course menu. A delicious glass of champagne and two appetizers beforehand. The plates of goodies arrived one after the other. Not only did it look fantastic, but it was also sensational in taste. The evening ended with an espresso and delicious friandises. Actually, I can briefly say that it was a perfect evening. In terms of taste, variety, service, ambiance, temperature, speed and quantity. Everything was perfectly balanced for a price that suits this well. Not too much and not too little. Geweldige ervaring qua smaken van de gerechten in combinatie met de voortreffelijke wijnen. De ambiance is werkelijk geweldig. We hebben mogen genieten van alles wat geboden werd in de oude kluis in de kelder. De positieve sfeer wordt mede gemaakt door de professionele medewerkers. Kortom een geweldige mooie ervaring.

Geweldig gegeten, goeie sfeer, mooie gerechten en bovenal geweldige bediening ;) Zou er zeker nog een keer terug komen!

De smaaksensaties van elk gerecht was echt top. Daarnaast de uitleg van de gerechten was heel vriendelijk maar ook zeer deskundig. Al met al een hele mooie ervaring. Een mooi aangekleed restaurant. Modern maar natuurlijk met alle elementen van de historie als bank gebouw.

We hebben ontzettend mogen genieten van een 5 gangen diner bij Ledeboer. Alles was perfect verzorgd, van het aperitief tot de amuses, de gerechten en de lekkernijen bij de koffie. De bediening was zeer kundig en super vriendelijk. Met in het bijzonder zeer goed wijnadvies gekregen van de sommelier. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

We hebben 6 gangen gehad. Elke gang was een sensatie opzich. Nog nooit zo lekker gegeten. De sfeer is super relaxed. Als je een avond vol smaak sensatie en een goede vibe wil, ga dan hier eten!

We had been to restaurant Ledeboer before, and this time we really enjoyed it. The beautiful location in the old prison remains impressive and gives a unique atmosphere to the dinner. We received a warm welcome from the owner, which immediately set a nice tone for the evening. The service was, just like last time, friendly and professional. The food was delicious: prepared with care and beautifully presented. Ledeboer remains a favorite for us. It is always a pleasure to eat here. Until next time!

De bediening was vriendelijk, professioneel en precies zoals je het graag hebt. Het eten was heerlijk, met zorg bereid en prachtig gepresenteerd. Alles klopte gewoon. De locatie maakt de ervaring extra bijzonder: een prachtig mooi restaurant gevestigd in een oude gevangenis. Ledeboer is absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van een fijne sfeer, uitstekende service en geweldig eten. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Service super good. I think the atmosphere is too cold...the food is fairly flat. We had 6 courses and cheese, champagne as an appetizer and 1 wine arrangement. I think 351 euros is really too much for what you get here.

Heerlijk (groen) verrassingsmenu, met inderdaad verrassende smaken en -combinaties in de verfijnde gerechtjes van (vooral) groenten uit het seizoen. Daarbij een wijnarrangement van halve glaasjes (want je wilt tot het einde toe de smaken helder blijven ervaren) dat er goed bij paste. Dat alles vriendelijk en vlot (maar niet te snel) geserveerd. Kortom, een zeer geslaagd avondje!

Last weekend I was at Ledeboer for the first time with a friend. Upon arrival, our coats were taken and we were allowed to enjoy a drink and appetizers in the 'lounge'. The interior looked stylish and classic and the atmosphere is casual and accessible. We were then allowed to take a seat at the table, each table has a personal welcome card. We opted for the 7-course menu, I took an arrangement with half wine glasses and water. In terms of food and drinks we really had a wonderful evening. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the food and accompanying wines were very tasty. For us it could have been a little more exciting in terms of ingredients/flavor combinations. This certainly does not detract from the quality, but we were not always surprised by a taste explosion. This makes the menu very accessible to anyone who normally does not like "special dishes". Moreover, the menu can be found on the site, so that you can see in advance what you are going to eat or read it again afterwards. The service is all equally friendly and helpful. We sat close to the kitchen and saw that at the beginning of the evening a large part of the service was waiting around the kitchen. It was not so much disturbing but it was noticeable, we probably would have paid less attention to this if we had been in a different place. The explanation of all dishes was good, but the service varied and you did not have the same service at the table all evening. The time between the different courses is fine, although it did take longer at the end of the evening, but the restaurant was quite full. The explanation of the wines was enthusiastic and clear. Sometimes we were still finishing a conversation when a new wine was poured, occasionally the explanation was given immediately and we were interrupted in the middle of a sentence. It's a shame that this was not always well perceived. All in all really enjoyed it! The restaurant is highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Afgelopen weekend was ik samen met een vriendin voor het eerst bij Ledeboer. Bij binnenkomst werden onze jassen aangenomen en mochten we genieten van een drankje en de amuses in de 'lounge'. Het interieur oogde stijlvol en klassiek en de sfeer is ongedwongen en toegankelijk. Vervolgens mochten we aan tafel plaatsnemen, bij iedere tafel staat een persoonlijk welkomstkaartje. We kozen voor het 7-gangen menu, ik nam een arrangement met halve wijnglazen en water. Qua eten en drinken hebben we echt een heerlijke avond gehad. De gerechten werden prachtig gepresenteerd, en het eten en de bijpassende wijnen waren zeer smaakvol. Voor ons had het iets spannender gemogen qua ingrediënten/smaakcombinaties. Dit doet zeker niet af aan de kwaliteit, maar we werden niet altijd verrast door een smaakexplosie. Het menu is hierdoor overigens wel zeer toegankelijk voor iedereen die normaal niet zo van "bijzondere gerechten" houdt. Bovendien is het menu terug te vinden op de site, zodat je vooraf eventueel kan zien wat je gaat eten of dit naderhand terug kan lezen. De bediening is allemaal even vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij zaten dicht bij de keuken en zagen dat aan het begin van de avond een groot deel van de bediening rondom de keuken aan het wachten was. Het was niet zozeer storend maar viel wel op, waarschijnlijk hadden we hier minder op gelet als we op een andere plek hadden gezeten. De uitleg bij alle gerechten was goed, wel wisselde de bediening elkaar af en heb je niet de hele avond dezelfde bediening aan tafel. De tijd tussen de verschillende gangen is prima, al duurde het aan de eind van de avond wel langer, maar het restaurant zat dan ook goed vol. De uitleg bij de wijnen was enthousiast en duidelijk. Soms waren wij nog een gesprek aan het afronden als een nieuwe wijn werd ingeschonken, af en toe werd gelijk de uitleg gegeven en werden we midden in een zin onderbroken. Toch jammer dat dat niet altijd goed werd aangevoeld. Al met al echt genoten! Het restaurant is een aanrader en wij komen zeker terug.

Came from far away to try out this restaurant. I saw many positive reviews and they also cook vegetarian, which we found interesting. We got a combination of vegetarian and fish. Food was just good, pure flavors, no big bangers but just good. We are people who can really enjoy beautifully matched wines, both at home and in restaurants that serve beautiful wines. That's really a night out for us. In our opinion, the wine and food combinations this evening were not sufficiently in order within this price category. In any case, we did return one wine, which we left behind because we simply did not enjoy it. Friendly reception of the feedback, which was nice. Ambience is also good, service neat and attractive building.

Wir haben hier mit Freunden einen fantastischen Abend verbracht. Wir fühlten uns direkt von der schönen Atmosphäre des Restaurants angesprochen. Die Bedienung war sehr, sehr freundlich und kompetent und die Kommunikation auf Englisch funktionierte wunderbar. Wir haben uns für das 7-Gänge-Menu mit Weinbegleitung entschieden. Alle Gänge waren ein Hochgenuss, einige kleine kulinarische Überraschungen waren für uns dabei und auch der Wein passt hervorragend zu den Gerichten. Man ließ sich Zeit mit den Gängen, so dass wir ein paar unvergessliche Stunden in Erinnerung behalten dürfen.

The food was tasty but we didn't think it was special. Dish with oil also tasted very greasy. Service was busy, rushed and it was not a team. Serving happened unexpectedly and from both the left and the right, with the men first and then the ladies. One course of the wine arrangement was "forgotten", but we did have a drink with coffee as a compensation. A nicely decorated and not packed restaurant.

We were here during the JRE youth week, which gave us a discount on the 7-course menu. The restaurant is in a very beautiful building and has a cozy atmosphere. It's also nice that you can see the kitchen from the table. The food was very tasteful and the service was good. The wines also paired well with the dishes. At times it took a while before the empty plates were removed, but this could be due to the crowds. All in all, Ledeboer is definitely recommended.

What a treat to eat here! We were welcomed and escorted to our table. Here we received 3 appetizers before our dinner. Delicious! Your mouth is already watering and then the courses come. The food is served so beautifully that it is almost a shame to eat it. The flavors and textures are fantastic. You can tell that the kitchen team cooks with a lot of passion. We'll be back soon!

Bij Ledeboer in Almelo hebben we een fantastische culinaire ervaring gehad. Het eten was werkelijk subliem; we hebben nog nooit zo lekker gegeten. De Groen 6-gangen menu is een absolute aanrader, elke gang was een verrassing voor de smaakpapillen en perfect in balans. Daarnaast was de bediening bijzonder vriendelijk en attent, wat de avond nog aangenamer maakte. Ledeboer is zonder twijfel een plek waar we graag nog eens terugkomen. Een echte aanrader voor liefhebbers van hoogstaande gastronomie!

Really great food! You can choose from a number of courses; from 4 to 7 courses. We had 5 and that was more than enough! The food was really of a high standard.

A very nice place. Together with a friend we had delicious amuses in the lounge area beforehand and then at the table. Extremely attentive service and great acoustics despite the large space and the music so nice in the background! Oh yes, I almost forgot about the food hahaha no, the photos speak for themselves.

A super experience. Welcoming reception and a card on the table with your name. Good explanation from the staff for each dish and then the enjoyment begins again and again. This was a top culinary experience that we will certainly repeat. Recommended.

High level food in a very nice restaurant

Last Friday we enjoyed a work dinner at Ledeboer restaurant in Almelo with 17 colleagues. We had agreed in advance on a fixed menu with a selection made by the chef. All dietary requirements (and there were many!) were taken into account. Everything was perfect, from the reception in the beautiful building to the coffee. Dinner was beyond expectations! We all really enjoyed all the flavors and delicious wines. Advice; Let the chef surprise you because that makes the experience complete! Huge compliment because we had an extraordinary dinner without long waiting times and that is always difficult for a large group. Rick, thank you so much for this wonderful evening!

Refined restaurant in the center of Almelo. Modern style furnishings, but a little cold. Personally I find it perfect for business dinners but not for romantic dinners or with friends. The quality of the raw materials is excellent. I had been to this restaurant other times in the past when the menu was a la carte, but now the menu is course-based (4-5-6 courses in which you can choose whether only meat or only fish or a mix, but obviously they also ask you if you have intolerances or something you don't like) and I must say that I definitely prefer this new version, so I don't have to go crazy to order dishes that I don't know anyway. We took the 5-course menu, the quantity was plentiful, I took the "surprise" menu, I'm not able to explain what I ate because I didn't understand it, but it was good! The thing I liked least was one of the desserts, a kind of brown jelly with far too many flavours. However I recommend it and will definitely come back next time I visit Almelo.

Addictively delicious! We have to eat at Ledeboer at least once a month. Every time we are surprised by the refinement of the dishes that Rick and his brigade conjure up from the kitchen. Pure ingredients that are prepared in such a way that they come into their own. Beautiful dishes that taste delicious. We never get bored. The hosts and hostesses are spontaneous and relaxed, creating a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. In short, Ledeboer is definitely our favorite in the area and deserves a star in our opinion.

Food super good. Enjoyed every course immensely. What was very annoying was that it was terribly hot and that bothered many people. No good climate control. The wait for the last course and coffee also took far too long. It was really not possible to draw the staff's attention to something. They walk there with blinders on. More than 45 minutes.
