We had a delicious meal and the lunch was also excellent for a small price.

We got takeout, and the food was top-notch. The portions were more than enough, and there were enough combination dishes to please everyone. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely go back. One minor complaint: Budweiser beer. 😉

The food had no taste and was very little for the money

The food wasn't good. After eating, several members of the family became very ill.

Had a fantastic spring roll, well-filled with chicken and vegetables. The Tei Pan with tenderloin and Tei Pan with shrimp were also excellent.

The food was perfect. The service was friendly. The food was nice and hot, and the tomato soup was delicious. The food was plenty... for these people as new owners. They should be given the chance to erase the bad reviews from the previous owners. So, all in all, very good.

We had a rice table at Lotus this afternoon. Very friendly service and delicious food!

Since the takeover by the new owners, the quality has unfortunately changed. The tomato soup now tastes more like a thick, sweet sauce and some dishes taste different & less tasty than before. Too bad, because it was always a favorite of ours. Hopefully the old taste and quality will be brought back in the future.

Ordered takeout by telephone, conversation was difficult, they could not find meals on the menu...; When we picked up the monkey came out of the sleeve: according to reports, there has recently been a new owner and he does not yet have access to a website with a very outdated menu showing dishes that they no longer offer and old prices. There were several takeaway customers who could not accept what they had seen online. The food itself was ok, not very good but not bad either.

Very unfortunate, but the place has had its best days for a while... But today it was very bad... last time... A waste of money and time.

How bad an appetizer and main course served at the same time. When we got home we quickly went to the toilet twice, my wife spent half the night walking around with stomach pain and rumbling in her stomach. Not recommended.

Tonight we ate there with my husband. To our surprise, the starter and main course were served at the same time, so when I started the main course it was lukewarm. I will never come here again.

We received a month's menu from you last Saturday. Resulting in food poisoning. We are all lying sick in bed, hanging over the pot. Never this again.

Had dinner here last night. When ordering, we were told that we had to wait 20 minutes, which ended up being 45 minutes. When we got home, 1 complete menu was missing, so I had to go back to pick it up. We had a lotus noodles menu, lotus nasi menu and a hot chicken menu with noodles and satay. The food tasted very bland, no spicy taste as you would expect. The satay was very hard. Just like the babi pangang, which was very hard and dry. Certainly not what you would expect from babi pangang. The staff worked very hectic and seemed unable to handle the crowds, which is a pity, but for me there will be no next time as a tourist to this Chinese restaurant.

The food was delicious; However, we had to wait more than an hour at the location to pick it up, and in addition, everything was missing from the order.

Friendly employees. Order was ready for collection on time as agreed. Unfortunately the food was a bit less: pork (cha sieuw) had no nice taste + quite tough. Satays and sauce also had little taste. Nasi and chauwmin were fine. Shame!

We had a Chinese rice table here last Friday evening with our granddaughter (15 years old). This was well done, tasty dishes. And what a great advantage was the delicious pork satay instead of the tasteless chicken satay from the other Chinese. The service from the two Dutch people was pleasant and excellent for each other. An ice cream 😂 after and we had a pleasant evening. Until next time .

Great food at Lotus, another old-fashioned, atmospheric Chinese with excellent food. Lots of choice on the menu and excellent service. Absolutely great. 👍🏻

We had made a reservation by telephone 3 weeks in advance for our family, for the buffet. When we arrived there we were welcomed by a friendly young man, after we had been there for 15 minutes (there were only 2 other customers in the shop) we had not yet been offered anything. Unpleasant thing too. Finally we were given the menus and told that we had made reservations for the buffet. Another, slightly older employee came and (not looking at us) told us a story about the wrong date of reservation. We got up and walked away, what a service. Then we had dinner 20 minutes away in a really great Chinese wok restaurant with excellent service. Look, that's how it can be done.

We picked up, a friendly lady helped us and had a nice chat with us. Food was really delicious. Stir-frying in the restaurant is only possible, but there are only enough registrations during the weekend.

We were disappointed by this restaurant. At the entrance you are greeted by big goldfishes in a disproportionately small aquarium As the food is being flambéed, you are informed by a smoke alarm. In my opinion, the standard equipment of a Chinese restaurant should include soy sauce and chopsticks. Instead, you will find Maggi seasoning on the table :-) Unfortunately, the chopsticks are all gone. All the toothpick cups are also empty. They must have run out of vanilla ice cream too. If you order a children's ice cream, which according to the menu is vanilla with cream, you get strawberry. The food is okay. It gets a bit cramped on the table, but it works.

Bought takeaway. Rijsttafel for 2 with kou lou kai as an extra, it was easy to eat for 4 or 5. The fried banana and the chicken balls were really freshly made, very tasty. We were able to make it exactly in the agreed time. Recommended!

Had an unpleasant experience. My wife ordered by phone and I drove by after work. When I paid, I thought the price was high, but I paid. And immediately called my wife to find out what she had ordered, as I did not understand the price. It turned out not to be true. Due to miscommunication, an error occurred when ordering and a double portion was received. 2 monthly menus seems a bit excessive to me. I asked if a solution was possible. It was miscommunication, so no one was to blame. Someone was called, so I think the owner. This person was not customer friendly at all and did not want to talk about a solution. This was what was ordered and had already been paid for. Leaving the restaurant somewhat surprised. When we got home, we went to eat in good spirits. How disappointing this was for us. We have done our best to put the incident behind us. But nevertheless, it really wasn't tasty. This was a one-off for us.

Ordered various dishes during our stay at Orveltemarke. We thought the highlight was the Babi Pangang plain and bacon, deliciously prepared in a lot of sauce. We added noodles, which were well filled and very tasty. Highly recommended.

Been to Locus several times, their ala card is just good, nothing wrong with it. But wok cooking is very disappointing, not so much the fish/meat dishes but the preparation thereof. Delicious sole fillet is completely cooked and then stir-fried for far too short a time and then served on your plate as a puree. I have been to several wok restaurants in The Hague and surrounding areas but have never experienced this before. It's a shame to ruin a high-quality product. The sauces are also very bland, there is still some room for improvement in the wok area. At the beginning of December 2023, we went to eat at Lotus again with 4 people. On Saturday evening around 6:00 PM we came in and the place was completely empty, which can happen of course. We took a seat and were served kindly, the four of us went for a four-person rice table. A nice cup of soup beforehand, absolutely great! then a small spring roll and shrimp also very good. Then the main course for four people, a fairly large dish of approximately 35 by 45 cm with Foe young hai, Tjap tjoy, babi pangang and a chicken fillet in curry sauce. Add a bowl of nasi and noodles. The bowl on which everything was placed was decorated with a lot of carved carrots, nice to see the figures they make from them, but not interesting. The bowl was at least 1/3 covered with carrot figures and the dishes in between. But there was so little in the way of dishes, the four of us could only serve once and not even much and then it was really over! It was really meager what was on the plate, but it tasted good because that wasn't the problem. We also indicated this and received a slightly larger dessert as compensation, we will not come back here again, pay 150 euros and no longer feel satisfied because it was far too little, which is a shame.

Nice family restaurant, don't change a winning formula :) Portions are often generous, which is great if you don't know what to cook on Friday, but not really on Sunday either. Friendly owner, and authentic Chinese chefs in the kitchen! Smooth operation - in short, recommended. P.S. the terrace is a nice secret in the summer, it is always quiet, so there is often room on the comfortable lounge sofas.

We had a delicious meal here and the welcome and service was friendly. Because there were few people present, the atmosphere was somewhat less. But that is the moment itself. The portions were generous and we had some leftovers. When we asked if we could take it with us, no problem, but then we had to put it in a plastic container for 0.30 cents, which I thought was less if you still want to provide service to your customers. I think that is a negative point.

Lekker gegeten, aardige jongens in de bediening. Geld zeker waard. Enig minpuntje was dat de thee vrij duur was per pot, je betaalt namelijk per persoon. Dame Blanche ijs was mega portie ;))

Heerlijk gegeten met acht man. Zeer leuke vlotte bediening. Het eten zag er niet alleen heerlijk uit, het was ook super. Jammer dat we hier niet in de buurt wonen. Echt een aanrader.

We eten er altijd heel goed. Deze keer waren er toch wat min puntjes personeel maakte enkele fouten en we moesten maar liefst €3,50 betalen voor ketjap.

Onprofessionele bediening, weten niet hoe ze een maaltijd moeten ge en .Eerst het gerecht en dan de placemat en dan pas het bestek.geen servetten en notabene moeten we nog betalen voor de ketjap. We aten een loempia en dan hoort de ketjap er bij mijn inziens.

Eten afgehaald. Voor 6 personen, 3 menu,s besteld, voor 2 personen vlgs kaart We waren met 8 personen, maar we kregen eten voor wel bijna 20 personen. Zonde van het eten, moest dus best wat weg doen. Bizar veel. Jammer

Met een grote groep hebben we hier fantastisch gegeten. De bediening was zeer vlot en vriendelijk, ondanks dat we soms wat rumoerig waren. Het eten was goed bereid en vers. Bovendien is het ook nog eens zeer betaalbaar. Zeker een aanrader!

Vind het erg jammer maar meer dan 2 sterren kan ik niet geven .Nederlandse bediening is al eerst minpunt .ze hebben een zeer uitgebreide kaart maar het eten is matig en heeft weinig met Chinees te maken . Verder zijn ze voor een dorps Chinees restaurant vrij aan de prijs

Heerlijk gegeten. Bediening is goed, heel gastvrij. Sfeer is een mix van typisch Chinees met een moderne twist, heel prettig.

Wok, all you can eat, niet dus, minimaal gevulde schalen waren in no-time leeg en werden niet bijgevuld, bovendien vond ik niet alles even vers, taai en bijna smaakloos, jammer, prijs is dan ook stevig, €29,50 pp exclusief drinken, om deze reden binnen een uur weer buiten. Personeel is attent, niets mis mee

Vind dit wel een super goed restaurant. Vooral het afhaalgedeelte. Eten is goed voor elkaar. En je kunt van een maand menu bijna een heel weeshuis voeden. Echt zoals ik van een chienees restaurant verwacht.

Smooth and pleasant experience ordering a take away on a Wednesday. Even though you get used to your own Chinese restaurant, the three meals we ordered were all good. Pleasant telephone ordering, ready in time and as ordered.

Altijd heerlijk eten in een ongedwongen sfeer. Kleine wok,maar veel keus en altijd vers!

Al echte local kom ik hier regelmatig -1 of 2 x per jaar- om een maaltijd op te halen. De familie is heel vriendelijk. Het eten is vooral veeeeeel. 1 portie is voor ons genoeg voor 4 personen, en voor 2 personen de dag erna.... Eten is op zich OK, maar niet verrassend. Liever wat kleinere porties en wat meer kwaliteit.
