Restaurant & Lounge bar 3 Zussen in Wijk 05 Randzone

De schnitzel was zeer taai. Het mes is niet geschikt ervoor. De wortel is ook zeer taai. Maaltijd helaas niet opgemaakt.

Hier geweest voor een lunch. Het zag er mooi uit, zowel het restaurant als de serre. Wel is het dan jammer dat er verschillende lekkages in de serre zijn. Broodjes waren lekker en vulden goed. Bediening was vooral veel aan het hangen. En dat terwijl mijn drankje wel een kwartier op zich liet wachten. Een gemiste kans.

Sfeervol, gezellig, goed bereikbaar en voor elk moment. Een ruime locatie waar je elkaar treft voor een etentje, een babbeltje of een drankje.

Met een vriendin spontaan avondeten. Wat meteen opvalt is het jonge personeel wat er rondloopt. Bediening is goed. Beiden hadden we Asperge soep vooraf en als hoofdgerecht Risotto besteld. De soep was matig, deze was waterig en asperges die erin zaten waren overkookt. De Risotto was niet romig, zoals de menukaart weergaf, eerder een plakkerige rijst met kruiden. De groene asperges en de Parmezaanse kaas ontbraken. Dus we stuurde het gerecht terug. De kok zei dat er geen groene asperges bij hoorden, maar het stond wel op de kaart! We kregen een nieuwe portie en de groene asperges waren doorgekookt, Parmezaanse kaas moest je zoeken en de kok liet via de jonge serveerster weten dat de Risotto prima in orde was. (We kregen dezelfde plakkerige rijst ) Dus voor de eerste keer een erge tegenvaller, prijs kwaliteit is helemaal zoek. Service is ver te zoeken. Hier gaan we dus nooit meer heen.

Tijdens een fietstochtje met Moederdag gestopt bij de 3 Zussen.´ voor een hopelijk snelle lunch. De zaak zat goed vol maar we konden nog een tafeltje krijgen op het terras. So far so good. Vervolgens werden we zeker 20 minuten genegeerd voor onze drankjes werden opgenomen. Ik vroeg om de menukaart maar deze werd niet gebracht. Weer 20 minuten later hadden we eindelijk de drankjes, nogmaals om de menukaart gevraagd en die kwam dan toch na weer 5 minuten. Ik was inmiddels behoorlijk chagrijnig, als ik honger heb verander ik in Joan Collins. Gelukkig kwam het eten daarna vrij snel en dat was prima. Kroketten op brood, goed heet, en lekker wat salade met goede dressing erbij. De uitsmijter van mijn partner was ook naar wens. In de basis is de 3 Zussen een goed restaurant, maar de bediening is jong en duidelijk onervaren. Ze klitten veel samen bij de balie maar moeten beter om zich heen kijken. Zoals overal is goed personeel ook hier een probleem. ..

Ligging aan doorgaande weg. Even gestopt voor lunch. Plek goed, wijn goed, bediening goed, keuken wat tegenvallend. Al met al geen slechte ervaring, maar ook niet geweldig

We hebben een familie-uitje georganiseerd met de lunch in 3 Zussen te Rhenen (tegen Veenendaal aan). We kregen daar een lunchproverij die op alle gasten erg veel indruk maakte. een heerlijke soep vooraf en vervolgens naast het broodje kroket een aantal heerlijke halve harde bolletje belegd met o.a. zalm en brie. Het maakte het familie-uitje tot een feestdag!

Deze plek is geweldig voor de lunch na een prachtige boswandeling aan de overkant van de 3 Zussen! Doordat ik net m'n hand uitstak toen de ober het bord neer wilde zetten vloog de soep uit het glaasje over de tafel, maar dat werd vergoed door 4 gratis consumpties achteraf en eventueel een vergoeding voor de stomerij indien nodig! Chapeau! We komen hier zeker nog terug voor een lunch of diner!

It had been about 10 months since I last had lunch here. The goat cheese salad tasted fine, but significantly less than last time. Very smart to serve everything on a small plate, but it is sad that there is even any room left on it. I had asked for gluten-free, but unfortunately I received a tasteless bread from Schär, no butter! For a restaurant, there are better options available than Schär. My neighbor had a salad with steak strips, exactly 3 pieces... this was really different from last time. You pay more and get less. You're really being fooled. The service was friendly, really nice.

A very welcoming and well-decorated restaurant, very beautiful, menu with some must-haves, good labkrats, such as the steak tartar very well cut meat and great flavor, the Entrecot for two is also spectacular!!! Service young people very friendly and waiting for the details!!!

Absolutely not friendly about dietary requirements. After the announcement that I eat vegetarian, and therefore no gelatin, I received the response: 'are you really that bad?!'. Really not appropriate.

Friendly and helpful staff. Short waiting times. Staff is alert. Good atmosphere, but a bit noisy for a business conversation. Music was quite present in terms of volume.

I didn't really think the food was special.

A perfect example of why Dutch cuisine has a bad reputation. The menu appeared to be good, but the execution was poor. The lasagne was an overcooked mess. The game stew was big on bland and short on game. The cocktails were weak and unbalanced.

Ongeïnteresseerde bediening, eten te koel. Steak tartare niet vers aangemaakt (verkleurd), gepocheerd ei koud en dus geen lopend eigeel, geen knapperige brioche maar taai oud wit bolletje. Carpachio met geraspte ‘kaas’? en te dun. Mini bakje standaard rauwkost zonder dressing bij de te koele Cote du boeuf. Gemakzuchtige eetschuur-ervaring in leuk interieur.

Formerly called l'Hermitage. Very nice restaurant. Make a reservation. Food was very tasty and the atmosphere was cozy but a bit dark. On a weekday everything was full. That's a good sign. Few parking spaces.

Had a wonderful evening with excellent food. As a starter, the crispy chicken, in addition to crispy, it was also spicy but very tasty. Surprising combination of Asian vegetables and deliciously tender chicken. As a main course the schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce. A standard dish with excellent preparation. Delicious vegetables and mashed potatoes as side dishes. Highly recommended. Ended with a delicious sorbet with lemon and forest fruit ice cream. Very good value for money. Including drinks you will spend less than 60 euros per person. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Lunch with 3 sisters in Veenendaal. Very friendly welcome and assigned a nice spot. Very nice restaurant and partly in the Christmas spirit. Service very friendly and fast. Platter 3 Sisters and bouncer 3 sisters were very popular. Recommended and definitely a location for us to visit again in the summer.

Nice place, well decorated. Quality of the food was very disappointing. Food was undercooked and the same product was served again after complaint, showing where my bite had already been eaten. Later heard that they no longer had the dish in stock. Missed opportunity. The manager did his best to compensate. Hence for service and stars.

Quiet, nice music that wasn't too loud. Had a drink but the menu had no keto dishes, not even a cheese board, so we didn't eat there.

We recently went here for a drink with a friend. Half of restaurant available. I understand that. We were allowed to sit somewhere but then there was no service. After half an hour we asked if we could please order. 29 minutes later still no drink, so I asked again if it was still coming. This was also indicated to the staff that this was very strange. And a missed opportunity otherwise we would have drunk even more. It's a shame, it's always a nice restaurant.

Cozy and delicious lunch It was full house but luckily we had made a reservation. A small downside was that both the salt shakers on the table did not work, we reported this and a new one was supposed to come, but we did not see it. Tip: check this every now and then and replace it if necessary. We also ordered 2 x coffees that did not arrive even when requested again (it was on the bill but was neatly collected after our story that it had been ordered but not delivered). Better luck next time, maybe the place was too full for the friendly service. Definitely a nice place to go

Met z’n drieën wezen lunchen. Mijn omelet “3zussen” was verbrand aan onderzijde en dit direct gemeld. Geen enkele excuses gekregen, wel een nieuwe gebracht, maar daardoor alleen zitten eten. Mijn dochter had frietjes die blijkbaar voor de “2e keer” waren gebakken, droog en hard. Niet 3zussen waardig en ook geen enkele compensatie of excuses gehad. Blijkbaar wordt dit als “normaal” ervaren door het personeel. Jammer, daar de locatie prachtig is.

This afternoon I had lunch with the 3 Sisters. When we entered, there was no one to say hello to the staff even though several staff members had already walked past us. After 5 minutes a lady from the staff came to us to tell us that we could go to the cash register to pay. We indicated that we would first like to have a table to eat. Once we were seated it took quite a while before someone came to our table. When the drinks were taken, we immediately received the menu and we indicated that we wanted to have lunch. It took quite a while before someone came to us to take our order. I ordered the club sandwich with salmon. It looked delicious, but there were no onions and witch's cheese, as described on the menu. There was no one at this time to ask if the food was to your liking. So I couldn't report this either. We sat with empty plates and empty glasses for half an hour. The tables around us were cleared, but they quickly passed our table every time. Staff often walked back in empty-handed, even though they could have cleared our table in the meantime. The lady who helped us (tall with long blond hair in a ponytail) seemed to have no interest in her work at all and had a certain arrogance. We wanted to have another drink, but the service was not good and we decided to pay inside, because there was no one in the conservatory where we could ask for the bill. Here we saw that all the staff were talking to each other. Personally, I don't think this is possible. If it had been very busy, I wouldn't have had any problem waiting, but I think waiting for staff who are chatting with each other is a no-go! It was the first time I had been here, because I had heard very good stories about you, but unfortunately I was very disappointed.

Didn't order a glass of tap water with 4 drinks, cocktail and snack. So no go as far as service is concerned. Also waiting 10+ minutes to have your order taken. Food and drink are always of excellent quality here, but from now on we will drive a little further, into Veenendaal.

I read some bad reviews. I almost wonder, was that the same place we were at yesterday? We were positive about the food, drinks and atmosphere.

Very nice decoration and very pleasant service. Until it got busy and the second boy serving turned out not to be that experienced. He completely ignored us while his pleasant colleague was busy being a good host for the other customers. Then we had to look at empty plates for a very long time. But this was an isolated incident and next time will undoubtedly be better. The dishes are delicious and can even be called creative. Definitely a place we will return to soon and will undoubtedly enjoy again! We ate both starters and main courses, after which my wife also chose dessert. We also drank a nice bottle of wine together. This made the amount per person slightly higher, but it was all worth the money!

Leuk restaurant! Heerlijk gegeten, heel vriendelijke bediening, goede sfeer en leuke inrichting. Ligging is ook top, naast een mooi bos. Eten kwam snel en zag er goed uit en smaakte ook top. Niets op aan te merken dus wij snappen de negatieve reviews niet!

The atmosphere at De Drie Zussen is cozy and the staff is friendly. Our drinks came quickly, but unfortunately the snacks took a long time to arrive. Moreover, they were not served at the same time, so some of us had already finished eating while others were still waiting. Snacks were also forgotten, probably due to the crowds. This is the second time I have had this experience at De Drie Zussen, which I think is a shame given the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

Vanwege het gemak, niet gehinderd door eerdere positieve ervaringen, hier toch weer gaan eten. Na een paar heerlijke dagen aan de kust, waar we overal lekker hebben gegeten, met goede service en prima prijs- kwaliteitsverhouding, bij de 3zussen weer erg teleurgesteld. Hoe kan het, dat hier altijd van alles misgaat. Ik kan van deze ervaring een A4tje volschrijven, zal me echter inhouden, het gaat nl mis op alle fronten, service, bediening, de hygiëne betreffende tafel en glazen, het slechte eten. Niet alleen bij ons was de stemming treurig, ook aan de tafels om ons heen waren er geen blijde gezichten. Onze feedback werd uiteindelijk wel gehoord, één hoofdgerecht en de koffie stonden niet op de rekening. Maar nu is het voor ons echt de laatste keer geweest dat we hier gaan eten. Voor een ijsje wellicht, want dat is de beste in town, we trotseren dan maar de chagerijnige meneer aan het loket.

Had a nice drink on the terrace yesterday. Nicely decorated restaurant with lots of space. Staff is very young and inexperienced, they still have to learn to say hello, in addition to taking the order. Actually wanted to order a Pina Colada, but noticed just in time that they don't use pineapple juice or coconut milk at all, but regular milk with 2 syrups. A bit of a cheap copy of the original if you ask me. The beer with bitterballen turned out to be a safe choice, which we enjoyed very much. The cheese from the nachos was served solidified.

Only had a cup of coffee, very nice service. When we came here the 2nd time, we only got the apple pie when we had finished the coffee, and we did not get the requested sweetener for the coffee.

The food was terrible last time. Its taste was too bad, full of spice ( even that I asked them twice not to add any kind of spice). The amount of the food was little. The price was exoensive comparing to the quality and quantity of the food. The atmosphere was good. But the food is bad.

Price/quality ratio is poor. Ordered steak medium well, got it medium and some pieces still medium rare. Steak was full of hollow veins. Father's dish couldn't do without fries, because that was part of the meal, while I got a baked potato. Burrata as a starter and the sauce that came with it was downright disgusting, looking like gypsies. The dessert was tasty, but it's a pity that the people who had a cup of coffee for dessert had finished it long before the rest got dessert. There were a number of people in our group who had the tuna steak, which was very dry. Really a shame. We also had a high tea here a while ago and indicated that there were pregnant women in our party... they said they would take it into account but just served tuna and unpasteurized cheese... the service didn't know anything. The quantity was also disappointing, we had to look at each other for the last bite... it was just too little. Do yourself a favor, eat elsewhere. This is really a waste of your money. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant. By the way, half of our party didn't come, they don't have a children's play corner or something like that.

Today we had a delicious meal with 3 sisters in Rhenen. Surprising lunch menu with wide choice. We had to wait a long time for service, which bothered several people. By default, people were also sent in a certain direction on the terrace even though there were several places available. Give customers a choice of where they want to sit and don't send them into a “corner”. Therefore service three stars.

I was here last night and was often used to nachos containing a lot of cheese and jalapeno, but this time it was a bit more sparse and no guacamole, a bit of a shame, but no comment on the drinks, they were extremely good.

After my last visit (about 10 years ago), which was unfortunately anything but good, I am very surprised this time. When the weather was nice, we sat on a pleasantly decorated terrace with good service and delicious food. Even though it was busy, the service remained fast and courteous. I will definitely go back here again and probably sooner than 10 years haha.

July 19, 2024 Went for a walk around here today, then had a drink here. We found the male service to be very unfriendly. He had a high table or just on the couch, that was good enough for us. There were tables available, but he didn't offer them. That's why I asked for such a table with regular chairs. Okay, as long as you leave by 5:30 PM, because that's when the tables are reserved. It was 3:30 PM and we just came for a drink. The other female servers were not much better either. So my wife, our dogs and I will skip this place.

7:00 PM inside, 8:15 PM outside. Terrace fine, waitress was rapidly repeating unintelligible sentences. Listening was not an option, just running with her nose in the air. Not to mention her disinterest, in short, very disappointed.

The place is very beautiful and elegant and the food is very delicious Deserves 5 stars 🤩

For the 2nd time a very disappointing high tea. You pay €25 for something that is worth barely a tenner. Pity. Mentioned to staff but nothing is done about it.

Nice meal! Appetizer; goat cheese salad, Main course; Shrimp Pasta. Both starter and main course were good. We were helped very friendly and the atmosphere was good. The cocktails are still in €10, so quite affordable. With 1 cocktail, 1 wine, 1 soft drink and a bottle of sparkling water we had to pay just over € 100, which did not include dessert.

Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately poor service yesterday. We had to wait very long twice for our drinks. The drinks menu stated that snacks could be ordered until closing time. When we wanted to order snacks at 10 p.m., we were told that the kitchen was already closed, which was a shame. The 3 sisters was open until midnight. This was also the case previously when the kitchen was closed too early.

Waardeloos echt waardeloos, jaren geleden was het al een ballen tent. Het ging even redelijk maar als de friet nog maar net gaar gebakken kan worden ben ik er klaar mee. 25 euro durven vragen voor fish en chips, gewoon patat met een klein stukje lekkerbek die bij de visboer voor 10 euro te halen valt is ver over de top. Maak er dan iets speciaals van ofzo maar dit is gewoon te simpel. Dit gaat nergens meer over. Mij zullen ze hier nooit meer zien. Bediening die het niet in de vingers heeft.... zelfs het woord prutswerk is nog te goed.

Worthless, really worthless, years ago it was a complete mess. It went reasonably well for a while, but if the fries can only just be cooked through, I'm done with it. Daring to charge 25 euros for fish and chips, just fries with a small piece of gourmet that you can get at the fishmonger for 10 euros, is way over the top. Then make it something special or something, but this is just too simple. This doesn't matter anymore. They will never see me here again. Management that has not mastered it... even the word tinkering is still too good.

Perhaps the weather plays a role, but a very nice location for something to eat and drink. Service is relaxed and extremely service-oriented. Too much trouble in the sun? Then a parasol is simply placed near the table. Nice atmosphere, nice setting, good food that is served fairly quickly even when busy. Close to a beautiful walking area. Recommended

We hebben hier geluncht. De locatie is geweldig en het restaurant ziet er mooi uit. De bediening vonden we alleen zeer ondermaats. De ontvangst was fijn, maar toen we eenmaal zaten kregen we het gevoel dat we niet welkom waren. We hebben tot drie keer aan toe moeten vragen of er een gerecht terug kan worden gestuurd naar de keuken en toen het gerecht terug kwam, werd het gerecht zichtbaar geïrriteerd teruggebracht zonder bestek. Toen we om bestek vroegen, werd dit nogmaals geïrriteerd op tafel gelegd met de vraag of het nu wél goed was.

Nice restaurant, especially if you can sit outside. Nice to dine and relax. Tables and chairs are available as well as lounge sofas. Friendly service and delicious food.

Pricey though. Regular beer from the bottle 5.50. Gin and tonic 11.50? Ouch.
