The food is of good quality and there is more than enough variety. Since we don't have children, we only come here on weekdays; on weekends, it is of course very busy. Inside, everything looks very nice and the people are friendly.

Excellent service, great choice of food and drink. All good was cooked perfectly and I highly recommend a visit. With 6 of us visiting it was expensive, but with drinks included which you don't get very often more than makes up for the extra you pay. Having visited all you can eat restaurants which you pay extra for drinks you work out paying more so lucky apple have done it right. Everything was well laid out and easily labelled as to what you were eating. They do cater for allergies too so just mention it when you enter.

The food selection is extensive, so everyone will find something to their liking. Some dishes are freshly prepared (fish, meat, pasta), while others are offered buffet-style. Freshly prepared items range from good to very good quality, while the hot dishes are rather average and aren't always consistently replenished. The beverage selection is comprehensive, from freshly squeezed orange juice to various bottled soft drinks and specialty coffees. Desserts include fruit, ice cream, various sweets, and pastries. The freshly made poffertjes are a particular highlight! Everything tastes good, but we weren't completely blown away. The price is a bit too high.

Beautiful round accommodation. Best to go early or late so you don't have to wait anywhere. Unlimited serving of food. Plates are cleared quickly. Fixed price for food and drinks. The latter includes beer and wine. The dessert selection is particularly extensive, with the chocolate fountain being a favorite with the children.

The food is... okay, mainly a lot of choice. The employee at the steak counter seemed to need a break. He put different meat on the griddle twice, for the man in front of me and for me as well. The woman behind me got a snap from the employee because she had taken the wrong plate. In the playroom, there is zero supervision by parents or staff. The concept also attracts a certain type of crowd. Another experience richer, but not something we would repeat.

We had a wonderful evening at Lucky Apple! After reading a number of negative reviews, we went with some hesitation, but that turned out to be completely unfounded. The food was delicious, fresh, and there was an incredible amount of choice. Everything was well replenished and looked well-presented. The staff was also friendly and worked hard to keep everything tidy. Honestly, we don't understand the bad reviews. Our experience was actually very positive, and we will definitely be back here again. As far as we are concerned, Lucky Apple is highly recommended!

I just wanted to share a wonderful experience with you. Today I went to Lucky Apple with my daughter and we experienced a small awkwardness (not the restaurant, but in private), but the restaurant and staff, especially MO, helped us so incredibly well. We felt super welcome and at ease, and even through the situation, we were able to thoroughly enjoy the food and the atmosphere!!! Thank you so much for the lovely evening and we definitely recommend the restaurant to everyone!!!! Thanks again ❤️

Very good food, simply very good

We absolutely love this all-you-can-eat restaurant. The quality and selection are truly superb. We have been to many restaurants with this concept, and Lucky Apple is definitely the best for us. Everything is also prepared fresh right in front of you and replenished... plates and empty bottles are cleared from your table neatly and quickly. What is also absolutely fantastic... if it is your birthday and you come on your birthday with at least 4 people, the birthday person eats for free. With 3 people, you get a discount as the birthday person.

There is an unprecedented amount of choice, but in my opinion, it all actually tastes a bit the same despite the wide selection. It is, however, very suitable for larger groups. If you simply love eating a lot, then this is definitely the "place to be." I did think the sushi was good, by the way.

We didn't find the food very special. It was very busy and some of the other guests weren't very sociable.

We go there often with the girls and the kids. Tasty and a wide selection. The children enjoy it immensely too.

We had made a reservation because we were coming with a 1-year-old child. Upon arrival, we were seated on a raised platform, which was very impractical with a small child. Additionally, the food was lukewarm to cold and the ice cream was already half melted; the fried salmon also tasted very sour. To top it all off, we had to vomit within an hour of arriving home. We will therefore never return here. In our opinion, this experience was absolutely not worth €100. Very disappointing.

The restaurant is looking amazing and has a great atmosphere inside very warm and welcoming. Food is a huge variety and I am serious when saying HUuuge. A minus, the restaurant has a big capacity but the parking lot is a nightmare, I turned around for 10 minutes to finally find a place, and it looks like more from our group has the same issue. Overall we had a great experience, food was delicious and fresh and we had a great time. Recommended for groups of people friends or if you celebrate something, but definitely I will not go there as a couple too noisy ( just my opinion).

Poor quality beef tenderloin, pumped full of water. Mediocre selection at the wok. There were satay skewers and some peanut sauce on the toilet floor (but of course, it could have been something else in that spot). Maybe handy if you were in the mood for a snack while doing your business. Visited once before years ago; it was good then, but I will never come back here. Far below par.

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. During our visit, several ants were crawling across our table. We reported this immediately to the manager, but the response was very nonchalant, and there seemed to be little urgency to resolve the problem. Additionally, there were food remnants from previous guests under our table. We even had to push them aside ourselves, which gave the impression that the place had not been cleaned properly for quite some time. We found this very unfortunate, as hygiene is an important part of a restaurant visit for us. It is especially a shame because the food itself was tasty. With more attention to cleaning and a more serious response to these kinds of complaints, the experience would have been much better.

I'm not very happy with this visit. On the one hand, the food was quite good, but similar places have had better. The selection is quite large, but I've seen more in other places. It's impossible to try everything in one visit because there's too much, but if you're picky, you might not find what you like. Quite a few dishes are made to order by Asian chefs. Asian cuisine and seafood dominate here. A big plus is that wine and beer are included in the price of your stay. Unfortunately, we didn't like all the dishes, but that might be a matter of taste. The service is mostly polite. You might encounter an irritated chef who lacks warmth. Unfortunately, not everyone speaks English, but you can still communicate easily. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. There are a lot of people and a lot of tables are close together, but it's not crowded. Overall, I highly recommend this place, as it's a good place, but I expected more based on the reviews.

Amazing spot. A good amount of different food and an amazing place to bring family and friends. Price is also ok for all you can eat and the beer + wine (generic) are included. Would come again. Shame they dont have a dedicated parking. Sometimes is hard to park the car.

Amazing world food buffet with unlimited soft drinks and slushies. The variety of items on the menu is impressive. My son loved all of the desserts. Very good value for money. 7 minute drive from Efteling!

Great 'all you can eat' with enough choice for everyone!

We celebrated my son's birthday. We absolutely loved it! The buffet catered to every taste. We also went with small children, for whom there were high chairs. There's a great play area. We plan to come back again. I highly recommend it. We had only positive experiences!

It is a nice place to eat. Some dishes have been sitting there for a long time, and you can tell. The staff were far from all friendly. But that didn't bother us much. We were, however, seated with a large group of people who were shouting loudly.

We recently had a delicious meal at Lucky Apple in Waalwijk and were really pleasantly surprised. The selection is huge and truly has a bit of everything, ensuring there is something tasty for everyone. What really made the difference for us was the service. Someone in our group has a gluten allergy, and the chef—I believe his name was Marijn, Merijn, or Martijn, apologies if I'm wrong—took plenty of time to walk through the entire restaurant with us to explain exactly what could and could not be safely eaten. That instilled a huge amount of confidence and really showed how much attention is paid to guests. Additionally, the food was simply delicious, which is of course just as important 😉 Absolutely 5/5 stars for Lucky Apple Waalwijk. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

Always good service and friendly staff!

The reception was reasonable. You are escorted to a table. The area we walked past reeked strongly of feces. This was clearly noticeable, but no one did anything about it. You could smell it every time you went to get food or drinks. Very unhygienic while eating. Unfortunately, we could still smell it at our table. Additionally, people are constantly walking past you because you have to get your own food, and you are seated quite close to other tables. However, the staff is friendly; they ask if the food tastes good and politely come to clear away empty plates and glasses. Upstairs, they do have nice, quiet seating; we have had better seats there in the past. In between courses, the children can enjoy playing in the play corner with climbing equipment. The toilets are clean. There is enough choice of food, but it is quite standard.

We saw this restaurant on TikTok, so it's on our bucket list. Unfortunately, I don't think it looks like the video (a bit of a catfish vibe). It was disappointing. I found the selection in both the space, the dining area, and the buffet to be disappointing compared to other similar restaurants. However, everything does look clean and the food tastes okay to fine. We were seated on the first floor. I found it much too dark there, and the ground rattled every time someone passed by. It was even worse with running children. So, not comfortable seats right by the aisle. Definitely the first floor. So we can tick this one off, but unfortunately, it's not worth repeating due to several downsides. I find the price-quality ratio expensive here.

Great selection of food in a buffet style restaurant. First time I saw a Kangaroo meat in the menu and I find it really interesting. We managed to dine in even without reservation which is great!

I was here by invitation and found it disappointing. We were given a table on the first floor, but there were also two people with mobility issues; a lift was available for them, though it was occupied solely by playing children. The staff walked around and said nothing about it. It is nothing more than a greasy spoon where people come to stuff themselves with low-quality food.

My first visit was great. A wide variety of freshly prepared dishes and drinks, and the kitchens were spotless. My evening turned out to be quiet, according to the staff. I had a delicious meal without any time pressure, despite the maximum of 2 hours.

The quality is good, but the explanation could have been a bit more detailed. Note that there is an upper floor. Although there is an elevator, it is not very fast. Toilets are located both upstairs and downstairs.

Delicious sushi and steak with good variety of drinks. Unfortunately our prawns and salmon off the grill were slightly undercooked so we had to leave those but enjoyed the rest of our meal everywhere was clean and food was piping hot.

- The price-quality ratio is very skewed. You pay too much for the quality you don't actually get. - The trashy vibe is too high. People even fight at the grill; it's really ridiculous. - I had heard good things about Lucky Apple. This was the first and last time for me. You're better off going to Jinsang in Tilburg. The food tastes a bit better there.

Fab place food for everyone All eaten well

When I got home from Lucky Apple, I immediately felt sick. I've been suffering badly from stomach flu for a week now; the doctor says it's due to food poisoning. I like a lot of food, but this really wasn't tasty. I ate very little and contracted food poisoning. People/service aggressive. They took my plate while I was eating. Also, they weren't friendly and were very aggressive, as I mentioned earlier in this post. The atmosphere was unpleasant, the food wasn't tasty (and food poisoning…). Absolutely not worth repeating. NOT recommended!

The food was okay but not great; I had expected more. Wok Garden in Biest-Houtakker and Woensel World Cuisine are much better than Lucky Apple, but another positive thing is that the staff was super friendly. For me, this was a one-time visit because the other previously mentioned places are really much better in terms of food.

Great food Parking is bad, too few spaces

Had a delicious meal!! It was mega busy on Friday, March 20th, but the guests were all very cheerful and friendly. The staff was also very friendly. There is a really huge selection of dishes. Hot and cold, from wok to vegetarian. And what I also really liked, despite how busy it is, is that the noise of people talking and clinking orders is really muffled. I have eaten at large restaurants where you could barely hear each other!!

Delicious food, but you have to leave the table a lot to get food, which means you have less time to talk with your guests. But that's the downside of this concept.

We've been going to De Wok in Biest Houtakker for 10 years, a smaller version of this concept. There are more choices here. The starters are also a bit tastier. Main courses also have more choices, but are slightly less tasty (the salmon was mediocre and the sea bass was just bad, tasteless sludge that rivals the cheapest tilapia fish in the supermarket). Otherwise, everything else in the restaurant was perfect. But... The men's restrooms: upon arrival, one was clogged, which the manager quickly shut off and didn't do anything until closing time. The second restroom wasn't cleaned once during that time and was just a disgusting, soaking-wet pigsty. So, unusable, really, with so many hundreds of guests.

Service, you have to do all that yourself. But it's one of the best all-you-can-eat restaurants. It's definitely among the best in the Netherlands.

We went here today. There's really plenty for kids to eat, a playground, and they even do face painting. We arrived on a Saturday at 4:30 PM, but it was packed from 5:30 PM onward. When we left at 6:30 PM, there were long lines at the cash register. The food was decent, with plenty of variety, was regularly replenished, and tasted fresh. Unfortunately, it was incredibly busy at the grill and griddle. There was also a lot of confusion about what was halal and what wasn't. I had to constantly ask Asian chefs who spoke poor Dutch what was halal and what wasn't. After this gentleman was asked the same question for the 70th time that evening, he understandably became less friendly. I think it would be a good idea to put up signs indicating what is halal. I also think it would be a good idea if they simply grilled all kinds of meat on the griddle and grill and offered that instead of the endless line of people choosing their own meat.

I went there for the first time and really enjoyed it. During the week, it's manageable, but it gets very busy on weekends. Plenty of choices and delicious food.

Unfortunately, not a great review.... First the good: very friendly and polite staff! Everything also looked great and neat. But then the food: the sushi was delicious. But the rest was not great. The steak was tough and completely flavorless despite the garlic and fry sauce. The salmon was dry and overcooked, again lacking flavor. We went a few more times, but everything was tasteless, overcooked, or tough... and all four of us felt the same. High expectations, but unfortunately, they weren't met. Not a lucky apple for us...

Really lovely restaurant Brilliant choices

A large, uninviting mess where the dining area resembles a cafeteria with cafeteria tables. No explanation, and I didn't realize you first had to stand in a long line to pay in advance, then go to the second line with your receipt to be led to your cafeteria table. If you like quantity and lots of food and drinks, this is for you. If you're looking for quality and a cozy atmosphere, stay away! I honestly expected much more. The selection is huge, but it's all lukewarm, overcooked, and tasteless. We were often stuck at intersections because people were trying to get in and out, and people were trying to get to and from the dining area. It's noisy, and the air vents smell of smoke. Once, but never again.

A good place but i didn't like it that much. No big complaints, just not my favourite. Worth to try and a nice location, though. Fresh made food right in front of you was one of the best memories.

After seeing positive reviews online, I tried it one evening, but what a disappointment. The service was very unfriendly and the chefs were even less friendly, reacting angrily and curtly when I asked for a piece of meat. Furthermore, it was way too busy during the meal; you easily had to wait fifteen minutes, which made it all very hectic. Absolutely not recommended, especially considering the price.

Terribly bad service, the chef didn't understand the fish. I ordered two salmon, and he gave it to someone else. Drinks were warm; I won't be back. Pizza was incredibly tough.

I went here for dinner with my daughter on a Saturday. The food itself was okay, but it was way too crowded. The restaurant itself is quite large, but the buffet and wok area are so cramped that it quickly becomes chaotic. You constantly have to move your plate, people block the paths, and it just feels rushed instead of relaxed. The service was normal; they cleared the plates and did their jobs. But the chefs were downright unfriendly. They barely spoke Dutch and often responded curtly or rudely to questions. No smile, no friendliness whatsoever. Because of the crowds and the way it's organized, I wouldn't go here again. It's a shame, because the concept is nice, but the way it's organized just doesn't make it enjoyable.

My personal opinion is that this type of buffet restaurant ruins the whole dining experience. Although the food and service were good, I have to say that the large crowds and the "fight" of the buffet line don't suit me personally. Lucky Apple is doing well, but be aware that the restaurant type has to suit you.

A large dining hall, very crowded, rushed, with long lines at the food counter, and an uninviting atmosphere. Little attention was paid to the ambiance or decor; just long, noisy tables. Upon arrival, there were long lines at the check-in desk, only one ATM, and then we were rushed to a table. No time to explain the concept; a missed opportunity.

Lucky Apple is a spacious all-you-can-eat restaurant. The price includes drinks (beer, wine, and soft drinks); other items are available for a fee. There's a wide selection of dishes, and the grilled and fish dishes are somewhat waste-conscious (max. 2 per person). The restaurant could use a bit more ambient lighting. Plenty of parking is available at or near Lucky Apple.

This was incredibly disappointing; we'll never be back. After seeing a few positive videos on TikTok, we decided to give it a try. The positivity and satisfaction of the guests on TikTok doesn't match reality. It's completely wrong. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area where you can eat much better. And for less, because it's definitely not cheap. The food wasn't fresh, the meat wasn't tender, the baked salmon was incredibly dry, and everything was either ice cold or lukewarm. My scallops also tasted of ammonia, which means they weren't fresh. Nothing was warm as it should be, and it wasn't seasoned properly. The vegetables you could get at the buffet were even still raw, and the buffet wasn't clean either. A wipe down with a cleaning cloth wouldn't be a bad idea. The labels that listed the contents of the containers were often illegible and completely worn out. A woman next to me asked the cook at the griddle if her piece of meat could be well done, and after a while, the cook snapped at her to shut up and say he was the cook and knew what to do. At the table, the young man snapped at her to pass the empty plates. "At least ask politely if you can't reach them," he said. Not a very pleasant atmosphere. And I also had a stomach ache afterward, which kept me up all night.

The food was incredibly delicious, although the quality sometimes left something to be desired. Don't get me wrong, most of it was truly delicious and definitely worth the wait. However, you do have to pay close attention to what you take from the warming tray; sometimes something has been sitting out longer than intended. Still, it's definitely something I would recommend. This is a wonderful way to end your day, especially if you've had a fun day in the area, such as at Efteling. Efteling simply doesn't offer a restaurant like this. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

It was cozy and busy. The food wasn't anything to write home about. The steak was tough and the vegetables so salty that taking a bite felt like taking a sip from the sea. It was the first and last time I've eaten here.

I don't give a star, the food is old and not fresh. Very chaotic. I would definitely not recommend it to people. It was the first time but also the last time.
