A watery sun, but nice sitting outside on the covered terrace at the restaurant with a delicious glass of wine and a soft drink for me as Bob. Ordered a delicious sourdough roll with spreads and a cheese board from dessert. We had a lovely chat, enjoyed the weather and the food. We will definitely have dinner soon.

Nice restaurant, but unfortunately I think there is a shortage of staff. The service was friendly and worked hard. The blonde lady who was dressed "differently" than the staff seems especially stressed and seems to convey this to the other staff. During the meal, 2 more tables were pushed past us in fits and starts. We had to wait a long time for our food, tables that had ordered after us were already eating. So I asked for the food myself and it came immediately. This also happened with the main course, which was unfortunately lukewarm, probably it had been ready for a while because when we asked for it, they walked to the back and brought it straight away. The taste was good and tasty. Unfortunately, dessert was no different either. 3 desserts and 1 coffee. The coffee was long gone and dessert had yet to come. Ordered tea to finish it off. 2 teas were brought and we had to ask for the other one again, which was also "forgotten." It was not the fault of the staff, we mainly saw them working hard. But unfortunately they couldn't handle the crowds. The dishes are also beautiful and delicious. Perhaps we were unlucky to be there on the wrong night

From now on we had a delicious lunch at Mae's. The coffee is very tasty! We had game ragout with toast and salad. This was very tasty. For the toast I had thought of toast bread, but it was a puff pastry cup. Very tasty. For dessert I had the apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream and whipped cream. This was delicious. The service was very friendly. We were regularly asked if we wanted anything else. This happened in a pleasant way. Not pushy. People were always asked if something was tasty. Upon arrival, the coats were accepted and hung in a hallway closet, where only staff were allowed to enter, so that they hung safely. In the toilet there are baskets with small towels to dry your hands. Very neat, The restaurant looks beautiful and attractive. A modern, but also cozy appearance.

Quite a fancy restaurant and quite good food.

I had dinner here on a Tuesday evening with 7 others. The food was very tasty, but it took a very long time to arrive. Friendly staff with knowledge of the menu + wines. Definitely recommended for a culinary dinner.

Food was mediocre. We had the avocado from the fryer and it was not good, the crust was too thick and therefore too rich. I would make it as a tempurara. We also had the camembert and it was excellent. I had the tournedos myself, but the letdown was the cold vegetables. This was also cold with the camembert. Service was top notch

Had an excellent dinner with colleagues. The restaurant was very accommodating considering we were almost 20 people in the end with a reservation made late in the afternoon and adding people until an hour before. Service was quick and very good. Food itself was excellent, come out quickly even for such a large group (with two other large groups also present in the restaurant).

Omdat wij de eigenaresse kennen van haar eerdere restaurant en daar altijd genoten hebben vd gastvrijheid besloten we als gezin om Mae eens te gaan proberen. Mooi restaurant maar de gastvrijheid van weleer was echt niet op orde. Binnenkomst na 20 minuten maar eens gevraagd om de menukaart, rommelige bediening, drankjes lang onderweg en na 1 uur pas voorgerechten en 45 minuten later pas hoofdgerecht, na meer dan 2 uur hebben we toetje maar overgeslagen. En het zat niet eens vol. Kwaliteit eten, tja weinig vlees, geen lekkere varkenshaas en droge kip. Dus dat redde de avond ook niet... Voor ons geen Mae meer.

Gezellig restaurant waar je ook nog eens heerlijk glutenvrij en onbezorgd kunt eten. Ik ben hier al meerdere keren gaan lunchen en nu ook eens gaan dineren wat uitstekend is bevallen. Lekkere gerechten en er is altijd een gezellige sfeer met vriendelijk personeel!

Delicious food. The first time but certainly not the last. A bisque beforehand. Then duck breast and fish stew. Finally a coffee complete and a drunk sultan. Served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Everything highly recommended!

In een mooie ambiance werden we allervriendelijkst ontvangen en, zonder afspraak, naar onze plaats geleid, nadat de jassen in ontvangst waren genomen. De menukaart werd snel gebracht en het opnemen van de drankjes (chardonnay en gingerbeer) vond vrijwel direct plaats. We kozen voor hazenpeper (buiten de kaart) en een Catalaans visstoofpotje. Beide gerechten smaakten uitstekend (al was niet vermeld dat de hazenpeper ook spekjes bevatten (we hadden er ook niet naar gevraagd) en dat werd even vissen voor mijn partner die geen varkensvlees eet. Tijdens het diner werd allervriendelijkst gevraagd naar onze drankenkeuze en de smaak en kwaliteit van de gerechten. Na het hoofdgerecht volgden nog een scroppino en koffie compleet in de nazit. Een zeer acceptabele rekening restte ons nog alvorens we naar huis vetrokken en de jassen keurig uit de garderobe werden gehaald en aangereikt werden. We kijken terug op een zeer fijne, gezellige en smaakvolle avond.

Vanavond heerlijk gegeten, samen met mijn dochter. Wij konden bijna niet kiezen. Zoveel lekkers op de menukaart. Maar we hadden een reuze goede keuze gekozen!! Marjon en Marcel alweer bedankt voor het héérlijke eten in jullie geweldig sfeervol restaurant. Samen met jullie personeel. Tot snel een keer!!!!!

Spontaan binnengelopen en we konden terecht zonder reservering. Heerlijk gegeten, was moeilijk kiezen van de kaart: vond vrijwel alles lekker en gerechten die ik niet zomaar thuis zelf maak. Personeel was vriendelijk, gezellig en professioneel. Woon al even in Vught, maar was hier niet eerder binnen geweest. Gaat wel gebeuren, want kom hier graag terug!

Heerlijk gegeten, fijne enthousiaste sfeer. Positieve sfeer. Eten was prima, gezellige inrichting. Ook voor allergieën een perfecte oplossing. Komen zeker terug!

Heerlijk escargots als voorgerecht , vispannetje als hoofdgerecht, iets te overheersende tomaten in saus. Witte chocolade cheesecake als nagerecht. Bediening was erg vriendelijk. We zaten bij een rumoerige groep ( mijn man zat met zijn hoorapparaat op tafel om het anders in te stellen) eigenaresse zag dat en bood ons direct een andere tafel aan op een wat rustigere plek, erg attent.

Super om te dineren! Sfeervol, goede kaart en mooie wijnen

Prima restaurant met een mooi terras op de markt. Heerlijk in de zon aan een drankje en een lekkere lunch. 12 uurtje is precies goed. Niets teveel en niks te weinig.

Maandag de 14e augustus heerlijk gegeten. Er bleken lastige klanten te zijn: een jong echtpaar met een baby en een peuter, die gilde en sleutels van andere gasten pakte. Hij werd niet gecorrigeerd door zijn ouders. De baby werd en plein public gezoogd. Eigenaresse greep gelukkig in!!! Het gezin liep vervolgens tot onze grote vreugde weg, zo konden wij en medegasten onze maaltijd in alle rust voortzetten. Theo, Sietske en Marianne
