Restaurant Nomi Korean BBQ & Sushi in Grachtengordel-Zuid

My wife and I eat at Korean BBQ all over the world and this one was just so-so. The meats were not very flavorful, our first grill was broken and we had to move tables and this was the first restaurant we have ever been too that would not serve a glass of cold water with the meal. All Korean restaurants always serve water generally in metal container and medal cups. Being refused a glass of water when they require you to purchase a drink with their AYCE package is bad business.

One of the best restaurants in Amsterdam you can choose all you can eat menu and enjoy food by ordering from the restaurant tablet, you can also cook your meat in front of you by your self, all kind of steaks My family and friends really enjoyed this.

Very expensive and the food is not that good. We had small wagyu burgers, soy fried chicken and bibimbap, and from these only the fried chicken was worth our money.

We came with a reservation. They give you a tablet, and we were able to order 9 items every 8 minutes. There were 3 of us, and we tried the beef and lamb, except for the wagyu. They were very well marinated and incredibly tender. We also liked the crispy chicken and sushi. The soup is very large, so there might be some left over, and drinks are mandatory. We were very satisfied with everything.

this was my second time here and HIGHLY recommend. the service is amazing and absolutely love the concept of being able to cook the meet ourselves. was extremely fun!!

Absolutley amazing experience! The staff was super nice, service was fast and the food top tier. We had a Korean BBQ with everything included for 81 euro and though it might seem a high price it was well worth it with the amount of meat, vegetables, sauces, and dessert. They different options for fried chicken was some of the best I have ever had. Also important to note is that you don’t have to do the everything included menu, there is a normal menu with singular dishes if one prefers. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience. Especially recommend the garlic fried chicken, and the teriyaki sauce. All the meat cuts for the Korean BBQ were great and tasty. Def will be coming back when in Amsterdam next time.

It's a wonderful experience. They bring you pieces of raw meat that you can cook to your liking in the center of the table... Raw meat... raw fish... and then they bring you food cooked by them... other fried or salad delicacies... Everything is delicious. I highly recommend it.

Service was 10/10 from the staff. Our server was so lovely and took the time to explain how it all works. We tried the all you can eat grill, and it was a fantastic experience. The quality of the meat was great and the selection was also fantastic. We also loved the idea that you can order it all through a tablet on your table. This is by far the best all you can eat I have experienced!

We came to the restaurant for the first time; the food was good, but the staff, particularly a waitress from Hungary, ruined the entire evening in the first round. She reacted very rudely to our nationality and made a political remark about the relations between those two countries. We came here to eat for the first time yesterday; we received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. We were then given the choice between the "all-you-can-eat" option and à la carte. The all-you-can-eat concept was explained well. I really like how they serve small portions so you can taste a bit of everything. Definitely recommended. The young man wearing glasses was incredibly friendly!

Dont be like us and trust the good reviews. We were so excited to come here for food as it’s all over tiktok and theres so many good reviews on google maps. we went earlier in the day to make a reservation. 7:30pm comes around and we sit down and have the concept explained to us. 3 items each every 8 minutes or so. We tried the steaks (dry and tasteless), the chicken (rubbery), the pork (inedible) the gyozas (gloopy). We cant fault the sushi it was mediocre and by the time we got our prawn tempura we were so turned off the foods we couldnt eat them. the egg fried rice was good but dripping in oil and to top it off a bottle of water was €8.50 and despite already paying €37-40 EACH there is an up charge for other foods which wouldn’t have matterd to us if the food was actually nice. Would not recommend to anyone please save your time and money as we regret wasting our first night in Amsterdam on dinner here.

I love the all-you-can-eat buffet at Nomi. I went twice in three days. It's so awesome! Of course, it costs a bit more, but it's worth it. The space at the table is usually a little too small for all the food, so it gets a bit cramped, but overall it's really great. ❤️

Rui was our main server and he was great from the start. He seated us, clearly explained how everything works, and walked us through the process: you order from a tablet, the dishes are brought to the table, and you cook the food yourself. He stayed friendly and attentive throughout, and the rest of the team did a really good job keeping an eye on the table and clearing dishes quickly so we always had space for the next round. (A drink purchase is mandatory, but we didn’t mind.) There’s also a €2 per dish for food that hasn’t been consumed. We arrived at around 9:40 pm, even though the recommended dining time for the all‑you‑can‑eat menu is two hours. Since we were close to closing, the kitchen shut at 10:15 pm. The staff were very accommodating and removed the usual waiting time between rounds so we could order as much as possible before the kitchen closed. The all‑you‑can‑eat option is €37.50, and we definitely felt we got our money’s worth. We ordered pork belly, beef bulgogi, sirloin steak and prawns, and everything was fresh and tasty. The kimchi, lettuce and rice were also really good. I’d recommend choosing thinner cuts of meat with less fat because they cook faster, which means you can get through more dishes during your session. Even though the restaurant says it closes at 10:30 pm, they didn’t rush anyone out. We were able to finish our food comfortably, and I really appreciated that. Will definitely be coming back.

Unfriendly staff. There were three of us, and we ordered the all-you-can-eat BBQ. They told us we had two hours to eat, which only stressed us out. After eating, we left the restaurant about 100 meters away. My 16-year-old son vomited in the street. I went back to the restaurant and asked for a bottle of water. The server said, "No, we don't have any." NEVER again. It's supposed to be a Korean restaurant, but none of the staff speak Korean. Never again. I wouldn't recommend it at all!!!!

Superb experience at Nomi. I came with a group of 8 and it was an incredible, enjoyable and delicious experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the plates come out so quickly. I think we tried a bit of everything between the 8 of us and all of it was amazing. Will definitely be coming back after pay day! Thank you so much to the Nomi team for such a great night

Best Korean BBQ I have ever had. Went for anniversary and was so good. We chose to do the unlimited which is where you can choose whatever meats,rice,fried food or sides you want and as much as you want for around 40 Euros each. Drinks are however not included and there is also extra charges for more expensive meats and side like wagyu (highly recommend if you haven’t tried). Was so so yummy definitely recommend.

Honestly… oh mannnnnnn… I wish I could’ve liked this place. I really really am so apprehensive about leaving poor reviews. I just try to give places benefit of the doubt, but I am genuinely SHOCKED at the amount of positive reviews (specifically the 4 and 5 star ones). My review is entirely based on the food. I have never had such tasteless meat in my entire life. Sure, there are sauces I can use to supplement the meat here, but you can only do so much to mask the taste of bad meat. I’ve been to plenty of KBBQ locations and I can be forgiving about subpar food. This was so much worse. Even the seasoned meat just did not sit right in terms of taste. I’m overall extremely disappointed - if you’re thinking of coming here for some “good Kbbq”, to scratch the itch - don’t.

It's pretty good, I come here often! But maybe because I've been here so many times, I'm starting to get tired of most of the dishes. The only thing I absolutely love, the ice cream daifuku, isn't included in the free dessert buffet anymore; you have to buy it separately. But the ambiance and service are still as great as ever!

It was really nice service and the food was amazing! The only thing was that we had reserved a table but we only had 1.30 hours before it closed. If we had been told when booking we would have taken the table earlier to be able to taste everything better

We enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The service was friendly and extremely fast. The quality of the ingredients was exceptionally fresh. The dining room is huge and well-ventilated. We had a wonderful meal. The selection of dishes was excellent, and everything was delicious.

We had a reservation for 4 people and still when we arrived our table wasn’t ready so we had to wait for at least 20 minutes until we got sit down. In the meantime we saw a mice running in front of us and a waiter just stomped it , that was something ! Anyways food was good no complains and also everything got on the table really fast , I suggest having someone to accompany you in the grilling process as it’s tiring for only one to be doing it haha . Nice atmosphere as well and all the waiters were really nice

Total scam. Food is barely edible. For warning there is “no tap water” and you have to pay €4 + just for water to wash down their awful tasting poor excuse for kbbq.

Far too many people in such a small space. The food unfortunately tasted strange. My wife and I each ordered the all-you-can-eat buffet. It wasn't to our taste at all. We had to ask five different waiters for salt and pepper, which finally arrived after 30 minutes, by which time we had to eat everything without salt, etc. For the €120 we spent there, it was a complete disappointment.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant! After our first visit, we went back for a second time. The food is delicious, and the system works well. It's great that you can cook/grill everything yourself, and the staff is very friendly! The cocktails and mocktails were also good. The restaurant has a good atmosphere. It was busy, but not too bad. In my opinion, it's highly recommended, and we might even return!

The main selling point of the restaurant is their Korean BBQ. BUT they also have a À la carte menu. We tried the Beef Bimbombab, which was absolutely delicious. We also got a complimentary soup and Kimchi, which was very nice of them. Definitely recommend checking the place out, even if you don’t want BBQ.

We ate at Nomi, a Korean BBQ restaurant in Rotterdam. You can choose between ordering individual dishes or all-you-can-eat. With all-you-can-eat, you do need to order at least one drink per person (so it's not included), and some dishes have a small surcharge, such as the Wagyu beef (€18). I've taken a picture of our total bill for your convenience. The food was really delicious and the service was super, super, super fast. The cocktails were surprisingly good! One minor drawback: the table is a bit too small if you're ordering multiple dishes at once, but otherwise it was perfectly manageable. Only English is spoken, which can be a bit of a learning curve, but we still had a wonderful meal. I definitely recommend coming back!

We arrived 45 minutes before closing time, but they still helped us with the dining experience so we could eat without missing anything! Everything was delicious, the service was great, I recommend it!

Friendly staff, food nothing special. The bibimbap was bland and, oddly enough, had corn on it and some diced meat. You can get much better Korean food elsewhere for the same price. The sushi is quite large and there's little selection. The fried chicken was still so hot 20 minutes after serving that it burned your mouth. And the drinks are ridiculously expensive, probably to compensate for the all-you-can-eat concept.

Everybody ,including us had a reservation ,but the restaurant simply had everyone in line waiting till a table opens, regardless the bookings. Moreover, I feel that that the meat was not up to my liking.maybe I did not cook it properly,but still I had much better.

Amazing K-BBQ place and what we liked the most was the extraordinary service! For context: a person in our group sits in a wheelchair and had some issues getting there on time. The staff was very accommodating and understanding of the situation! The staff also recommended good things to order which is especially great when it was many people's first K-BBQ. The best place I've ever been to. You can eat the entire menu for only 35 euros. This was my first time trying Korean food, and it was a fantastic experience. The meat is superb, the garnishes are amazing. You have a tablet in your hand, and you can choose three items every few minutes. It's so much fun.

Waaaaaaay too crowded. We were seated on the second floor, on a saturday night. It was insanely crowded, it felt like a chicken farm. Loud, chaotic, and I even question the safety situation with so many ppl in a small space. The food is pretty good though, and so is the selection for the all-you-can-eat menu. The waiters do what they can in the chaos. The problem must be with the owner/ manager, who wants to squeeze as many ppl in as possible. Shame on you!

It was the best meal of our lives, everything was top notch. The food was amazing and the corn dogs were out of this world! Totally recommend it, will be coming back for sure! The staff is also very very attentive.

A super fun and cozy Korean BBQ restaurant on Vijzelstraat in Amsterdam. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was truly wonderful. Besides barbecuing yourself, you could also order all sorts of Asian dishes. The menu (ordering via iPad) offers plenty of choices. You can order a maximum of 6 items per round. Eating with chopsticks also adds a fun (Korean) touch.

We really loved the food — there are plenty of great options, and you definitely won’t leave hungry! :) The quality of the meats was great, and everything we tried was delicious. Our favorites were the sweet and spicy fried chicken, mango cream cheese sake maki, and bulgogi chicken. The service was top-notch, the staff were fast and attentive. The only downside is that the place is a bit small, with tables quite close together, and it can get a little too hot inside.

This isn't the first time, but unfortunately, it won't be the last. I was with a group of people, and the order arrived late and incorrectly. Drinks spilled all over me, beer splashed everywhere, and my clothes got soaked! It's typical, but no excuses, just a bucket of drinks.

Nomi is such a great and unique experience, especially the all you can eat grill option. You get to order up to six items on the iPad menu every 6 minutes and all the food is great quality. They have such a range of options from seafood, meat, sushi and much more. It was so fun being able to grill the fish and meat ourselves with many seasoning options! The staff were attentive and everything came so quickly. We will definitely come back again next time we are in Amsterdam!

Such an amazing place! 🙌🏼 For just €40, you get two hours of all-you-can-eat — order whatever you like within that time. I absolutely love it here. Even though it’s an indoor barbecue, there’s hardly any smell or smoke inside. The meat is fresh, and there are plenty of vegetable options for grilling too. They also offer fried chicken, bibimbap, soups, sushi, fries — basically anything you’re craving. They have a great selection of drinks, and I especially adore the variety of soju flavors! The place is super clean, and the staff are incredibly kind, fast, and efficient. I really appreciated how smoothly everything ran.

Very fast but you have to get used to order through a tablet... It's different. After two hours, they kick you out... But it was good.

We ate here today with two friends, and we had a wonderful time. One of my friends is a halal diner, while we wanted to order a pork dish. We let the staff know, and they immediately moved us to another table with two barbecues without any problems. It was a fantastic experience, and the staff were really helpful. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive all evening. Empty plates were always cleared promptly, so the table was never messy. If we forgot something or wanted something extra, it was taken care of immediately. The food itself was high quality; everything was fresh, well-prepared, and simply delicious. The desserts were also excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and relaxed, exactly what you want for a night out. In short: highly recommended if you want to enjoy delicious Korean barbecue with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

My first time in korean bbq and it was quite interesting experience. I enjoyed cooking each peace and the variety of dishes you can order within this deal. Except for the drinks you get also sushi, desserts, fired snacks. Weekends reservations required.
