It's delicious in essence and tastes delicious too.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is quite busy, and sometimes there’s a bit of waiting time whether you have a reservation or not, as they need time to prepare the table — which is totally normal, just like any restaurant. The food is good, prices are reasonable, and I’ll definitely come back.

Far too many people in such a small space. The food unfortunately tasted strange. My wife and I each ordered the all-you-can-eat buffet. It wasn't to our taste at all. We had to ask five different waiters for salt and pepper, which finally arrived after 30 minutes, by which time we had to eat everything without salt, etc. For the €120 we spent there, it was a complete disappointment.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant! After our first visit, we went back for a second time. The food is delicious, and the system works well. It's great that you can cook/grill everything yourself, and the staff is very friendly! The cocktails and mocktails were also good. The restaurant has a good atmosphere. It was busy, but not too bad. In my opinion, it's highly recommended, and we might even return!

The main selling point of the restaurant is their Korean BBQ. BUT they also have a À la carte menu. We tried the Beef Bimbombab, which was absolutely delicious. We also got a complimentary soup and Kimchi, which was very nice of them. Definitely recommend checking the place out, even if you don’t want BBQ.

We ate at Nomi, a Korean BBQ restaurant in Rotterdam. You can choose between ordering individual dishes or all-you-can-eat. With all-you-can-eat, you do need to order at least one drink per person (so it's not included), and some dishes have a small surcharge, such as the Wagyu beef (€18). I've taken a picture of our total bill for your convenience. The food was really delicious and the service was super, super, super fast. The cocktails were surprisingly good! One minor drawback: the table is a bit too small if you're ordering multiple dishes at once, but otherwise it was perfectly manageable. Only English is spoken, which can be a bit of a learning curve, but we still had a wonderful meal. I definitely recommend coming back!

Friendly staff, food nothing special. The bibimbap was bland and, oddly enough, had corn on it and some diced meat. You can get much better Korean food elsewhere for the same price. The sushi is quite large and there's little selection. The fried chicken was still so hot 20 minutes after serving that it burned your mouth. And the drinks are ridiculously expensive, probably to compensate for the all-you-can-eat concept.

Everybody ,including us had a reservation ,but the restaurant simply had everyone in line waiting till a table opens, regardless the bookings. Moreover, I feel that that the meat was not up to my liking.maybe I did not cook it properly,but still I had much better.

Amazing K-BBQ place and what we liked the most was the extraordinary service! For context: a person in our group sits in a wheelchair and had some issues getting there on time. The staff was very accommodating and understanding of the situation! The staff also recommended good things to order which is especially great when it was many people's first K-BBQ. The best place I've ever been to. You can eat the entire menu for only 35 euros. This was my first time trying Korean food, and it was a fantastic experience. The meat is superb, the garnishes are amazing. You have a tablet in your hand, and you can choose three items every few minutes. It's so much fun.

Waaaaaaay too crowded. We were seated on the second floor, on a saturday night. It was insanely crowded, it felt like a chicken farm. Loud, chaotic, and I even question the safety situation with so many ppl in a small space. The food is pretty good though, and so is the selection for the all-you-can-eat menu. The waiters do what they can in the chaos. The problem must be with the owner/ manager, who wants to squeeze as many ppl in as possible. Shame on you!

A super fun and cozy Korean BBQ restaurant on Vijzelstraat in Amsterdam. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was truly wonderful. Besides barbecuing yourself, you could also order all sorts of Asian dishes. The menu (ordering via iPad) offers plenty of choices. You can order a maximum of 6 items per round. Eating with chopsticks also adds a fun (Korean) touch.

This isn't the first time, but unfortunately, it won't be the last. I was with a group of people, and the order arrived late and incorrectly. Drinks spilled all over me, beer splashed everywhere, and my clothes got soaked! It's typical, but no excuses, just a bucket of drinks.

We really loved the food — there are plenty of great options, and you definitely won’t leave hungry! :) The quality of the meats was great, and everything we tried was delicious. Our favorites were the sweet and spicy fried chicken, mango cream cheese sake maki, and bulgogi chicken. The service was top-notch, the staff were fast and attentive. The only downside is that the place is a bit small, with tables quite close together, and it can get a little too hot inside.

They forgot to bring my order a couple of times. I had to follow up. And they don’t explain the food when they deliver. For a big group, this is confusing.

Nomi is such a great and unique experience, especially the all you can eat grill option. You get to order up to six items on the iPad menu every 6 minutes and all the food is great quality. They have such a range of options from seafood, meat, sushi and much more. It was so fun being able to grill the fish and meat ourselves with many seasoning options! The staff were attentive and everything came so quickly. We will definitely come back again next time we are in Amsterdam!

Such an amazing place! 🙌🏼 For just €40, you get two hours of all-you-can-eat — order whatever you like within that time. I absolutely love it here. Even though it’s an indoor barbecue, there’s hardly any smell or smoke inside. The meat is fresh, and there are plenty of vegetable options for grilling too. They also offer fried chicken, bibimbap, soups, sushi, fries — basically anything you’re craving. They have a great selection of drinks, and I especially adore the variety of soju flavors! The place is super clean, and the staff are incredibly kind, fast, and efficient. I really appreciated how smoothly everything ran.

We ate here today with two friends, and we had a wonderful time. One of my friends is a halal diner, while we wanted to order a pork dish. We let the staff know, and they immediately moved us to another table with two barbecues without any problems. It was a fantastic experience, and the staff were really helpful. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive all evening. Empty plates were always cleared promptly, so the table was never messy. If we forgot something or wanted something extra, it was taken care of immediately. The food itself was high quality; everything was fresh, well-prepared, and simply delicious. The desserts were also excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and relaxed, exactly what you want for a night out. In short: highly recommended if you want to enjoy delicious Korean barbecue with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

My first time in korean bbq and it was quite interesting experience. I enjoyed cooking each peace and the variety of dishes you can order within this deal. Except for the drinks you get also sushi, desserts, fired snacks. Weekends reservations required.

My friend and I visited this place for the first time. It was simply amazing. We ordered the "Eat All You Can" menu, and everything was incredibly delicious and fresh—from the entrees to the dessert. It was even a shame when we were already full and couldn't eat any more 😂 We didn't make a reservation; we came on a weekday at 5 PM, and there were still tables available, but then they were completely full. The service was excellent: fast, friendly, and on time. We received compliments from the place, which we didn't expect. Only positive impressions! 10/10

Great ambience service and really good quality meats and seafood

We went here to celebrate my husband's birthday. The light and music were good and comfy. The only disadvantage for us was a table's size. For 3 people it was small, we could place all the dishes. We had very friendly and enthusiastic waitress. We took all you can eat. If you don't take something like rice or soup and eat only small portions, you can try a lot and it worth it completely. Cocktails were tasty, the variety is great. The tablet for order is very handy. Note if you're taking birthday dessert, there would be "happy birthday to you" song playing in the whole restaurant 🤣

I don’t think anyone regrets visiting this place. The mixture of japanese food and the barbecue makes you want get back again. Mohamad from the staff is outstanding and every business would be lucky to have someone like him!

This place is fantastic. We ate there when we were in Amsterdam for our 10th wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked in the door, Mohammed greeted us and gave us the best service we had ever had. What a guy! An absolute credit to the venue. We opted for the all-you-can-eat menu, and it was delicious. I particularly liked the lamb. The cheesy corn dogs are so good! And at the end of the meal, the venue gave us a complimentary ice cream to share!! Cannot recommend this place enough. I'll definitely be back. Mohammed, I'll see you again, my friend.

I recently went to one of Eminem's favorite restaurants. The waiters were all handsome and beautiful, and their service attitude was particularly good. We ordered too much meat and didn't even get to eat sushi and bibimbap. I'll come back next time~

Absolutely fantastic Korean BBQ buffet! The meat quality was top notch tender, flavorful, and well marinated. A wide variety of cuts, including beef, pork, and chicken, plus fresh sushi, and plenty of side dishes like kimchi, edamame, and cucumber salad. The grill was clean and efficient, and the staff were attentive and quick to refill. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, perfect for groups or a casual night out. Definitely one of the best Korean BBQ experiences - worth every penny!

Super nice food. We have been there now several times and will for sure come back. Friendly stuff and the concept is amazing. Of course the food as well. It goes just so fast and you are ready to kick it off. Just a bit of small tables for all the food and drinks. Therefore you sit cozily next to the neighbor table.

Went there with high expectations but was totally disappointed with the food, not authentic at all. The service was also not the best one.

Not a particularly pleasant place to eat. It started with us having made a reservation for five people, but a table was set up for four. Luckily, one of us had to cancel at the last minute, so this wasn't too much of a problem. The table we were seated at was a round one, which was already quite full with our plates and cutlery on it. Every time we ordered, all the plates were brought out. After the first order, our table was already completely full, and we couldn't find anywhere to put anything down. We also asked if they had a side table, but they didn't. This remained a source of frustration the entire time. We also went there for someone in our group's birthday. Shortly after we sat down, I had mentioned this to someone, and asked if they could do something fun. In the end, nothing came of it, at least for us. It was fine for two other people. The waitstaff had set the plate to 4, and later that evening we received rather irritated comments about the plate being set too high. No one had told us to turn it down. The food and drinks weren't exactly spectacular either. The menu was quite limited, items labeled "spicy" were either not seasoned at all or had far too much salt, and the cocktails weren't mixed well. We certainly won't be coming back.

The service was a bit lacking; you weren't always helped unless you spoke directly to someone, which I personally find a lot disappointing, but the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help you. We really love this place! What a service! The food was so good, they were so welcoming towards our daughter, they made sure everything was tidy, and there were no dirty dishes left on the table for long. It's a place worth visiting with children and delicious food.

I regularly visit Nomi on Vijzelstraat and am always very pleased with the food and service. The young staff are friendly, attentive, and make every visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, there is one male employee, possibly a manager, who repeatedly behaves unprofessionally towards his colleagues. He frequently yells and uses foul language. This employee also sometimes uses physical contact, even with female colleagues. He playfully pushes or taps them, but I've seen them repeatedly feel uncomfortable. What is presented as "playful" can still be transgressive, especially in the workplace. Such behavior has no place in a work environment, let alone in a restaurant. It creates an unsafe atmosphere, both for the staff and for the guests. Despite the good food and the team's dedication, this work environment is a serious concern. I sincerely hope that action will be taken.

A dumpy place with rude/incompetent waiters. One bumped into my chair three times without saying a word, and another repeatedly grabbed my can of drink to see if it could be cleared. The restaurant looks nice, but appearances can be deceiving. Furthermore, most of the food was very tough and tasteless. We won't be back.

We went to eat this weekend, food, especially the cocktails were great however the way mohammed was treating his staff was unacceptable. The yelling and threatening really distracted us from our dinner, it ruined the dining experience. Mohammed is indeed a charismatic guy and cares a lot for the customers, but maybe not the staff, which was not nice to see. We'd hope this issue gets raised to higher management.

Korean BBQ is a fun experience always. The service was good and very fast, everything was ordered with a tablet. The meats, veggies and sauces and were fres and the grill was cleaned mid experience. We would go back if in Amsterdam.

I had a truly wonderful evening at NOMI, even though I was dining alone. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home right away.
