Great atmosphere and friendliness! 🥰

Back at Oniria after 3 years, and for me, it immediately felt familiar again. The same cozy and special atmosphere that appealed to me so much last time. Yet, they managed to surprise me again. It is wonderful to see that Oniria still knows how to create that same special experience after all this time. I enjoyed it immensely again!

I love it! There is always a warm welcome, good tinto de verano, and delicious tapas. We always stay longer than expected because of the nice and cozy atmosphere!

Excellent paella ( they have vegetarian version as well!), good tapas and attentive staff. We had a really great time, and will return for sure. You might need to wait for the paella, but it’s only because it’s freshly made.

We had a delicious meal in this small, cozy restaurant with very friendly service. You can really tell it is a family business where love for the products used is paramount. Plus, delicious Sangria.

We ate here for the first time last night; we had a table outside, and with these temperatures, it was lovely. The service was very friendly, and they brought a bottle of water to the table without asking, which is often different in many restaurants—top notch. It is a nice concept to share the food, and everything that came to the table was deliciously prepared and, fortunately, at a relaxed pace so you could really enjoy the bites. And after a dessert, we headed home feeling satisfied. We will definitely come back to try other dishes from the menu.

My birthday was on a Monday, and many places are closed. More or less by chance, we ended up at Oniria, which was open. It wasn't very busy; we sat outside because of the heat. Prompt service, good explanations for the various dishes, and the food was super delicious!! It was a very pleasant surprise!

We visited the restaurant without a reservation. The place was almost completely full, but they still found us a table. We didn't have to wait long for our order. We were served by a very nice girl, Margarita. Friendly, professional, and speaks several languages. The octopus and seafood paella were surprisingly good. Very satisfied.

This is the perfect spot to enjoy authentic Nestled in the heart of Schiedam, this tapas restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience. Almost every dish was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. While the Pulpo could be a touch more tender, it was still incredibly tasty. The attentive service was a refreshing change from the standard experience. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends.

I went to this restaurant quite a few times, I believe in Schiedam it’s one of the best. The atmosphere and taste of the interior design is amazing. Service is very good. Food is not the most excellent Spanish I’ve had but it’s overall very good, so I would definitely recommend!

Above-average tapas, very tasty patatas bravas, but the chorizo ​​with honey was an unexpected highlight. The sauces were original and delicious throughout. The pork belly was unfortunately not fully warm inside, but it did have a crispy crust. The mocha ice cream with dessert was homemade and truly delicious. Service was fine and friendly, drinks were top-notch, but just getting a spot on the terrace here in old Schiedam is an experience in itself. Not exactly cheap, but definitely good. We will certainly be back.

Oniria is a Spanish restaurant that fuses traditional cuisine with a fresh touch, original nuances, and intense flavors. The service is impeccable; the waiters are incredibly friendly and offer recommendations. I went with my friend, and we ate in the interior dining room. The ambiance, music, and decor make this restaurant a very welcoming and peaceful place where you'll want to linger! The menu is quite extensive and varied, from delicious cocktails to the food itself. We ordered the patatas bravas, which were delicious, a brioche bun with prawn tartare, and a potato omelet with Manchego cheese (the omelet was perfectly cooked, and the cheese flavor was just right). But our favorite dish was the chorizo ​​with honey, highly recommended for its amazing flavor. But the real surprise came with dessert. We ordered "La Planta" (The Plant), and the waiters thoughtfully added a handwritten birthday message and a candle. For me, it has been an experience I will not easily forget, and it is a place I will definitely return to if I go back to Schiedam.

We waited a bit long for the food, but everything else was fine

Nice atmosphere, tasty food, good service! Only the chocolate dessert was very small. Two bites and it was gone. It was gone so fast that I had already finished it before I could take a picture 😂 But, I will definitely come here more often!

I ate here last Sunday, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. The quality of the food was severely substandard. The prawns were completely overcooked, and the oysters were floating in a pool of seawater, which was particularly unappetizing. For that reason, I didn't even dare to taste the accompanying Spanish drink. As if that wasn't enough, the chicken turned out to be undercooked as well—something that is truly unacceptable in a restaurant. The only bright spot was the grilled pork tenderloin, which was well prepared. Unfortunately, the other dishes were nowhere near this level and were simply mediocre. All in all, a very disappointing experience that is unlikely to be repeated anytime soon.

Very beautiful (located) restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great food. I just found the prices way too high despite the excellent quality. €16 for a small dish of oven-baked goat cheese with honey and blueberries is really too expensive. Still highly recommended.

A great spot in the old center of Schiedam. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the cozy terrace; if it’s a bit chilly, you get a blanket and they turn on the patio heater. The service is top-notch and always with a big smile; Blas and his team always make it a party. They have amazing cocktails and a fantastic menu. We had lunch there on a Sunday afternoon with girlfriends for the first time, which we will definitely do more often. Highly recommended. P.S. The comedy night is also highly recommended.

Looks great from the outside but then they serve you deep freeze calamari with no taste and hard to chew, the sangria was 28 euro of ice, etc, etc. really overpriced for no quality. Service was nice. The photo show the pitch of sangria after we asked the ice to be removed.

Delicious food and drinks, but extremely expensive for what it was. We spent over €100 for 2 people and still needed to eat elsewhere afterwards. I would still recommend it as a fancy date night place, but just know you're paying for quality and not for a full belly.

Went Here for Dinner and drinks and had the best time! The food was good, but the cocktails were just insanely good! Also very important: the staff is super sweet and friendly! :)

Paelle meat dish in combination with bread with a pinch of butter and alloi mayonnaise with sangria. Delicious olives, crispy bread, too little butter and the sangria with too many ice cubes and no fruit in it. Main menu was much too salty in combination with bacon and chorizo. Food was disappointing for those 81 euros.

Unfortunately a very disappointing visit to Oniria. The Paella tasted like a Knorr World Dish, we had to search for the meat in the Paella. At 20:00 on Saturday night the Spanish beer was already sold out. The Spanish live music was also not there. Too bad, but with every visit to Oniria the quality seems to decrease.

We ate various delicious Tapas and we also ordered a fish. That was also super tasty. The cocktails were absolutely fantastic. What a great place. A recommendation for anyone who loves Spanish food.

Restaurant still in Christmas atmosphere with twinkle tree. Food fine, but portions are getting smaller. Tournado was cold. Wine is scandalously little, a really pathetic layer for €8 and therefore a scandalous amount of money. Too bad it was so good.

Teleurstellend... wij hadden afgelopen zaterdag om half 7 gereserveerd. Toen wij gingen zitten werd ons direct verteld dat de tafel dubbel geboekt was en wij voor kwart voor negen weg moesten zijn. Geen leuke binnenkomer als je een gezellige spaanse avond met vrienden wilt hebben. Toen werd als tegemoetkoming een drankje van het huis aangeboden. Dat was leuk geweest, als ze het ook daadwerkelijk hadden gedaan. Toen de rekening kwam bleek er namelijk helemaal geen rondje van het huis afgehaald te zijn en toen we daarom vroegen werd tegen ons gezegd dat dat helemaal niet was toegezegd en ook dat 2uur voor eten lang zat was. Heel onklantvriendelijk wat ons betreft! We hebben dus niet rustig zitten eten en vervolgens een nare discussie gehad. Verder promoten ze dat er live muziek is. Die was er ook, maar alleen beneden en wij waren boven neergezet waar je die muziek helemaal niet hoort. Ook al erg jammer. En boven was de akoestiek erg slecht en de "huiskamer" was zo vol met mensen dat je elkaar amper kon verstaan. Alles bij elkaar echt een teleurstelling dus! Enige lichtpuntje was dat het eten gelukkig wel goed smaakte. Maar als je uiteten gaat is alles daaromheen ook belangrijk!

Disappointing... we had made a reservation last Saturday at 6:30. When we sat down we were immediately told that the table was double booked and that we had to be gone before a quarter to nine. Not a nice entry if you want to have a nice Spanish evening with friends. A drink on the house was then offered as compensation. That would have been nice if they had actually done it. When the bill arrived, it turned out that no round had been collected from the house and when we asked, we were told that this had not been promised at all and that 2 hours for food was too long. Very uncustomer friendly as far as we are concerned! So we didn't sit and eat quietly and then have a nasty discussion. They also promote that there is live music. It was there too, but only downstairs and we were placed upstairs where you don't hear that music at all. Also very unfortunate. And upstairs the acoustics were very bad and the "living room" was so full of people that you could barely hear each other. All in all a real disappointment! The only bright spot was that fortunately the food tasted good. But when you go out to eat, everything around it is also important!

The waiter was very kind, the food was very delicious! We had a good time, although we went overboard with the choice of cocktails. The bill was not horrible for how much we tasted and ate. It was well worth the price, but not 1 drink! There was live music, we enjoyed it. Very cozy little place!

We had an amazing night during a global meeting with my team. Was exactly what we needed, bellies full, laughter assured, amazing drinks and kind smiles everywhere. Best paellas in town, and the cocktails are remarkable, they definitely know when it comes down to beverages, just take a look to the bar and by seeing the bottles if you know you know ;)

The food in here was in the main pretty good. Chorizo with Honey, Steak with Chimichurri sauce, Broken eggs with ham, Parmesan Melazane and prawns were really nice. The major issue here is portion size, they are really small. When you look at the price of each item it will knick you back about €50 a head to feel full without getting a huge portion of paella, which kind of defeats the purpose of eating tapas. I know this is the Netherlands and not San Sebastian or Seville, but when you then get charged €7 for a small bit of bread just to fill you up, it’s a bit disappointing. Service was a bit slow as well. Bigger portions and this would have been 5/5.

What a terrible intention had been reserved there was received very unfriendly. A table under a staircase with a damaged stool, the menu was thrown onto the table. We got up and left, never been treated so rudely in a restaurant.

Walked in without a reservation on a rainy Friday evening and, with some flexibility, was immediately helped to a table for two. Particularly atmospheric and intimate restaurant in the hands of a Spanish family that turns it into a real party with passion and full energy. People work here who love their profession. Also note the very exclusive coffee machine and the beautiful beer tap. You don't see that every day. Food was perfect, beautifully presented, fresh and tasty. Plus points for the bartender who, with pleasure and skill, quickly conjures up the most beautiful cocktails on the bar. We found that there was also live music, which made the atmosphere even more Spanish. Kudos to Oniria, a little piece of Spain in Schiedam, really enjoyed it!

How lucky we were that we immediately came across Oniria when we were looking for a restaurant after arriving at our accommodation yesterday. The first result on Maps that caught my eye and that I clicked on, barely a few meters from B&B de Gusto where we stayed and a map full of gluten-free dishes! We were very happy with this after we had to make a lot of effort elsewhere in the country recently to find gluten-free options due to gluten intolerance. Wonderful atmosphere, even more delicious dishes and it was also affordable 😊. Kudos to the owner for working so hard for, as he put it, a restaurant for everyone ☺️

The food was delicious, lots of choice with regard to diets and very friendly staff, I can highly recommend this restaurant to people who want to eat out but are not sure about the diet they should follow.

The taste of the food was good but the quality of the products could be way better. Especially the gamba’s. Besides that we had a lovely night at this place. Het restaurant al eerder bezocht Toen erg tevreden. Nu met groep vrienden er op woensdag gegeten, private event want restaurant is normaal op woensdag dicht. Maar op verzoek kan je er soms toch eten. 10 pers op de 1ste etage , gezellig woonkamer gevoel. Heerlijke tapas gegeten de makreel en varkens wang zijn echt erg lekker. De bediening is top

Small but nicely decorated tapas restaurant with a room on the ground floor and a room on the 1st floor. The map is good, but fairly ordinary. The dishes tasted good to us. Downstairs it is very attractive, but very small. A bar with about 6 stools and 8 or 9 tables for 2 people. The problem is that almost all of the tables are in the room where the outside door is. There is a curtain in front of the door, but that is completely insufficient to keep the cold out. After all, when someone walks out, the curtain moves aside and the door opens... The result is that the guests at the tables close to the door simply feel cold. You just look miserable in a shirt or a dress. If you visit Oniria in winter, make sure you are dressed appropriately to avoid spending the evening just thinking about the cold and not being able to enjoy the food. The two of us spent 110 euros, which is fine, but you want to be comfortable and not cold!!! Too bad, because otherwise it is just a nice place with live music on Saturdays every other week.

I use to have some dinner in Oniria and I just can say everything is amazing from innovative dishes, cocktails and even the smallest details like the special homemade aioli, butter and salsa brava. The staff is great and they always ensuring a pleasant atmosphere and food experience, thank you guys and congratulations to the chef.

Dice que es un restaurant español pero no lo es, sirven pisco sour que más parecía limonada con un icebergs, al sacar el hielo te queda unos 8 o 10 cc de líquido, paella sin sabor, sangría vino con agua y hielo sin fruta, no lo recomderia en absoluto, malo y caro, Nos sentimos estafados.
