We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful Kurdish restaurant! Together with my wife we ​​enjoyed a delicious meal that was prepared down to the last detail. The food was not only delicious, but also prepared with a lot of attention and love. You can taste the authenticity and passion of the chef in every dish. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the people who work here are incredibly friendly. They immediately give you a feeling of confidence and ease, making you feel completely at home. The chef is a special man who serves his guests with great respect and dedication. He makes sure everything is perfect, from the food to the service. We have been to many restaurants, but this restaurant stands head and shoulders above the rest! We will definitely come back here and can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good food and a cozy, respectful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Not recommended! Food was okay, not particularly good nor bad (had mixed grill). The service was fine. But the man who prepares the food does not belong in the catering industry, I don't know that man at all, but he thinks it is normal to be insulting/derogatory. I wisely responded calmly because I was with company, but he actually deserves a tap. Never been addressed so ridiculously. Not recommended, no respect for guests, only for their money.

EXPLANATION!!!! I gave you 5 stars not because you have good service or because the food was so tasty, but mainly because I don't want my review to have any consequences for you. We have been visiting you for about 5 years now. Usually this is once every 2/3 months. Today I came by again with my partner. We ordered a kebab dish and Teke (red meat). To start with, the service is below par. You order an Ayran in packaging and get ayran in a cup, you order an Ice tea peach and get Ice thea limon. And when you say 'everything is going well there, this is the second time you have delivered it wrong', you get a sour head. You ask for fresh tomatoes cut into pieces and you get a whole tomato cut into 4 pieces. I asked for extra lemon and got lemon which was completely dry. Please guys, that's really not possible. Then the food: we got Teke, half of which consisted of fat and each piece was half a cm wide. I've never seen such small pieces before. Even with the Turk you get larger pieces. The kebab is nowhere near what it once was. Pity! Chaciki and tea were delicious, we paid and went home. Very unfortunate, hopefully you will do something about this!

The food and taste were very good. However, when we tried to order dessert, even though they had some available, they refused to sell it to us and behaved very poorly and rudely. We asked for the dessert, and the server claimed they didn't have any. When we pointed out the desserts on display, he said they were already reserved and couldn't be served to us. This treatment felt discriminatory, and the server's behavior was clearly hostile.

Restaurant palace in Rotterdam has the best Kurdish food. The kabab is wonderfully juicy and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and the service friendly. Definitely recommended for everyone!

Am from norway i came to netherlands to eat this and also the kabab n the grill was so good i never tasted that taste before all the employees were so friendly and the humos n fatosh was fresh i will for sure come back her again i definitely recommend this restaurant

I'm there almost every day. Complimentary soup and excellent Kurdish tea, didn't know it existed. Very friendly owner and certainly the best kebab in my opinion, the taste is unparalleled, I often bring friends who have eaten in Turkey or Iraq and they also love it here. The quality of the meat is high. A thank you to Mahmod and Sultan is also appropriate. They always make it fun and enjoyable when we visit... see you next time!

Was here last Sunday. Very negative experience. Fries were brought and literally thrown on the table. The kebabs were raw inside, bread was not cooked properly and tomatoes were burnt. After we reported this to the owner, he was very rude and did not even want to start the conversation. Photos don't lie. Finally: not worthy of a star, but otherwise it would not be possible to post this review.

Maybe that's because of my review last year. ;-) But I recently returned after much insistence from friends. The staff is friendly, nowadays you can pay by card again without any problems and the food remains tasty and affordable. It is without fuss, what you see is what you get, but tasty. So it would be nice to mention this via Google. ---------------------------------------- The quality and service has deteriorated recently. I'll sum up why. 1. The fries that came with the spareribs were simply super cold. I indicated this neatly and asked for new ones. That went well. But guess what? Afterwards I had to pay an extra 5 euros for these fries! 2. The restaurant treats Dutch customers differently than non-Dutch customers. That's just not possible. Dutch customers can use their debit card, but if you are of Kurdish/Turkish/Arab origin, they say that you cannot use their debit card. Then you have to withdraw cash somewhere nearby. I've seen this personally, where a Dutch customer in line was able to pay and I couldn't because it was suddenly "broken". And they do this more often. It is broken very often... I don't know what the reason for this is. I have a vague suspicion, but I can't prove it. I can only state facts now. 3. Most waiters speak no or very poor Dutch. That doesn't matter to me, I can get by in another language, but this is not useful for people who do not speak Kurdish or Arabic. Then your customer group also remains a monoculture. The meat itself, the free tea and soup (in advance) are very tasty and delicious. But the above points mean that I will never go back to this restaurant. Too bad, because they really have a lot of potential!

In europe we pay taxes, nobody likes it, but we do it, Irak is a tax free country feel free to do business there! The meat was served cold, and the place was not tidy, vaccum cleaner in the middle of the restaurant, waiter cleaning and serving food at the same time. Great Kurdish restaurant. Just had dinner for the second time and it was delicious again. Went with 5 people and the food was there within 10-15 minutes. Everything hot and wonderfully fresh. They charge prices that you won't find anywhere else (in a positive sense). We had dinner with 4 adults and 1 child for less than €100 and we ordered a lot!

I've been living in Overschie for 6 years and had never been here. A real shame, because it is a wonderful restaurant!! Immediately received a delicious soup upon arrival, you feel so welcome. The food was really delicious, the atmosphere was good, the service was top notch. Really, I will definitely go here more often! Had a great evening with my family. (Also nice and relaxing to eat here with children). Spare ribs fell off the bone, so tender!! Delicious!

Helaas niet meer zoals voorheen. Kabab is heel dun en klein geworden. Lijkt alsof het er 1 is die door de helft gesneden is. Was voorheen de beste kabab plek, maar met de portie die je nu krijgt zeker niet meer. Heel jammer. Liever de prijzen iets omhoog gooien dan hoe het nu wordt aangepakt...

Eten en service vrij goed Jammer dat het in de tiktok video veel professioneler eruit zag Ik Kreeg geen voorgerecht die normaal er bij moeten horen .

Mijn eerste keer Iraaks eten proeven was erg geslaagd. We hebben erg lekker gegeten en fijne uitleg gekregen over de gerechten. De heerlijke en warme thee kon onbeperkt en kosteloos genuttigd worden.
