Restaurant Palmbeach in Wijk 07 Duinzoom

No chance. I drove for 10 minutes, hungry, only to be confronted by a closed door, even though it said online it was open until 8 PM. No explanation, nothing. Just go to Paal 6 or the village; you can always find something.

The restaurant isn't top-notch, but it's not bad either. It's above average. You can pick up food to take away, or eat in. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and you're also welcome to just sit at the bar and enjoy a beer.

We held a baby shower here after the birth of our daughter. There was plenty of room to accommodate all the guests. Their pricing was very reasonable and they weren't difficult about anything. Everything went smoothly. You can still organize a fun party here for a reasonable price. We'll definitely keep this venue in mind for our next party!

This was the first place where we could get something to eat and drink from our apartment. We only had a drink, but it was good and came quickly. The food we could see looked good.

Well, we had to wait almost half an hour for a coffee, and the shop was only 30% full. And I'm not familiar with a cappuccino from a glass either. Maybe that's how it is in Holland...

Bomb. One of the best spots for breakfast and snacks. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Warm, crispy rolls, fresh salad and fruit and the eggs are freshly made. Whether it's an omelette, scrambled eggs or fried eggs, every wish will be fulfilled here. Have you eaten and are still hungry? No problem, you can get more. Coffee and orange juice are very tasty and you can even get a pancake for dessert if you wish, optionally with sugar, syrup, Nutella, etc. The service is unique. The Dutch are much friendlier than the Germans anyway, but the owner still serves personally. And you notice that. He enjoys his work, is friendly and helpful and even provided a bowl of water for our dog, who is very welcome. It wasn't the last time we were here. Since we are in Callantsoog once a year, this will now be a must for us. There is also karaoke here and the menu reads great too. A mega place to chill out a little. Thank you for the great start to your vacation❤️. 10 stars!!!

Today we tried the Palm Beach for the first and last time. The chairs were worn out. The food was, at best, French fries level. It's a real shame when the location is so good.

Great meal with 6 people, casual atmosphere and everything neat. The salad was great and there were plenty of fries. The meat was super tasty steak and spare ribs and schnitzel. Smooth service and very friendly.

No words. Went there with a group of people with mental disabilities to eat fries. We were not ALLOWED to eat inside. We should take it with us, we were just abandoned outside in the cold. Such behavior is really outrageous.

Not being able to rate food. After waiting for half an hour, asking to be sure whether there was service on the terrace, we left. Restaurant is located close to the beach entrance, hence the 2 stars.

Food was okay, nothing culinary. The drinks were very good and the service too. However, we could have waited until we had finished eating before clearing away the table decorations. Never experienced anything like it, but it wasn't that bad either.

Had dinner tonight. After reading the reviews, we thought this was something. We sat down and a young, friendly guy immediately came to take a drink. I looked at the menu and then they came to take my order. Kitchen will close soon But it's still possible, okay Bread and herb butter, sorry the oven is broken. Nacho without onions, sorry they are in the minced meat. Then just do carparcio, okay. Grandma's son's chicken snitzel and father's soup with bread. Then the soup came, before the drinks even came. Then 2 mini mini chicken snitzels with a mountain of broken fries. Carparcio never came. Asked, oh you didn't order that but it's coming. Then we finally got our drinks. Everyone had finished their food, I got the carparcio, no piece of bread or garnish really, just carparcio. The bread with the soup was so dry you could eat a seagull. Throwing a piece at a seagull and an employee immediately came outside shouting with a dustpan and dustpan that he had to clean everything up. I said, no, I want the bill now. Paid 65 euros and left quickly and never came back, bahbah. a shame about our first evening here.

Service inexperienced but did their best. Baguette was cut, probably when it was warm, very small pieces. Spareribs fried too hard. Part of the schnitzel was left behind because the knife could not get through. Reported this after asking if it tasted good. Was supposed to get a new schnitzel, but I declined. It was very cold sitting with the doors open. Not worth repeating for us

Kitchen is dirty, soft ice cream is just like water. After scooping up the fallen ice cream (with a very dirty scoop), the clerk asks if my son still wants to eat it...

The worst cocktail ever, synthetic taste and in retrospect €2 more expensive than shown on the menu. Well, there was food there...but there was old chip fat underground

When he's open, great. But the opening times are really full.... in German (lucky in practice) opening times vary a lot. Sometimes it's not too bad. Apart from that good

We had the kibbeling plate twice, unfortunately everything was far too greasy and almost tasteless. The cocktails didn't taste good either, the mojito tasted more like cold peppermint tea and the other one wasn't definable, what was also missing was the alcohol. The waiter was very nice.

Restaurant mit Imbissbetrieb Die Ribs sind eine Empfehlung, genauso wie die Pfannengerichte. Bewirtung gibt's auf der Terrasse und im Speiseraum. Viel Laufkundschaft vom Strand, sonst Gäste vom angrenzenden Campingplatz. Der Imbissbereich sollte renoviert werden.

Sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Getränke waren lecker kalt. Kaum auf's Essen gewartet. Lecker Kibbeling und ganz frische, lecker zubereitete Seezunge. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Schöne Lage, nette Bedienungen, das Hähnchen mit Reis und Erdnusssoße zwar sehr fettig aber extrem lecker! Leider war unser Tisch von den vorherigen Besuchern stark verschmutzt und wurde auch während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht gereinigt. Die Bedienungen kamen nur sehr selten vorbei, so dass man Wartezeit für neue Getränke einrechnen sollte. Ein Stern Abzug wegen dieser beiden Punkte, ansonsten empfehlenswert!

Sehr nettes Personal, aber hohe Preise für wenig Essen :( Pommes Spezial mit Frikandel für 7.50 Euro bestellt; eine Frikandel mit wenig Pommes und einem Hauch Ketchup und Zwiebeln bekommen.

Bij het bestellen van een uitsmijter werd niet gevraagd wat voor brood je wilde en bij partner werd niet gevraagd wat voor vlees zij op haar nacho's wilde, terwijl partner nog aan het eten was werd mijn bordje zonder pardon meegenomen. Ik denk opstart problemen na een lange tijd mochten vandaag vanaf 12.00 uur de terrassen weer open. Maar het eten op zich was lekker.

De laatste 2 porties spareribs vanavond kunnen bemachtigen. Wat waren ze goed, heerlijk gemarineerd, vlees viel bijna van het bot af. Dit is echt een aanrader👍👍👍👍

Als je lekker wilt eten dan moet je hier zijn ontzettende leuke en lieve bediening in een gezellige ambianze Gewoon een top zaak ga zeker daar eten dat moet je echt een keer doen

Wollten heute Mittag (ca. 14:00 Uhr) dort etwas essen und trinken. Hatten dann sofort Getränke bestellt und uns mit der Karte (1 einlaminiertes Blatt) mittels GoogleÜbersetzer beschäftigt, denn trotz Touristengebiet gab es diese leider nur in der Landessprache. Auch die Bedienungen (scheinbar Ferienjobber) waren überfordert und sprachen alle kein Deutsch und konnten nicht helfen/Fragen beantworten. Nachdem wir unsere Getränke hatten, wollten wir dann das Essen bestellen. Erst nachdem wir unsere Bestellung aufgaben, wurden wir groß angesehen, die Karte wurde uns regelrecht aus der Hand gerissen und eine andere Karte vom Nachbartisch auf den Tisch geknallt. Wir hatten nämlich unverschuldet die Abendkarte und nicht die Mittagskarte übersetzt... haben uns dann wieder mit der (richtigen) Karte auseinander gesetzt / übersetzt um dann doch nix zu bestellen, da uns leider nichts zusagte, denn ein Sandwich für ca. 7 € wollten wir dann doch nicht essen. Schade, hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir uns dort erst gar nicht erst niedergelassen. Defintiv in der Organisation und Serviceorientierung starke Defizite !

Heel goed en lekker eten, alleen waren ze ons vergeten met het hoofd gerecht, dus lang gewacht toch gekregen.

Heisst jetzt "Best eten en drinken". Vorne gibt es eine Snackbar und daneben ein Restaurant. Uns hat das Essen bei beiden gut geschmeckt, wir können es empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wij zijn hier wezen eten toen de inspectie langs kwam waardoor de keuken stil lag. Dit werd ons na ruim 20 minuten wachten pas medegedeeld en dat vond ik minder fijn gezien we een klein meisje van 20 maanden mee hadden en het tegen die tijd al bijna 20 uur was. De sfeer was door het bezoek ook erg gespannen. Het eten was goed wel van prima kwaliteit en het personeel verder erg vriendelijk. We komen nog een keertje terug om de sfeer te proeven zonder dat er spannend bezoek is 😉
