Great place in the forest. So glad it was open in a gloomy day. Felt great after a walk in the cold.

Disgraceful. Made a reservation for lunch. Upon arrival, we saw a sign saying "closed due to illness." No cancellation. Nothing.

Apparently, it's too difficult for the staff to make two coffees to go. Avoiding it is the smartest option.

Where do they still serve real, genuine hot chocolate in a large mug? Luckily, they do here. A lovely, cozy spot after a walk.

Had a beautiful autumn walk! Admission is €1.00, but it doesn't seem mandatory! Free parking and a nice cozy little house for food and drinks. Unfortunately, it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but understandable this season. I'm just not entirely sure where the off-leash area is, only the fenced area with water for dogs. I'll definitely be walking here again 🐕

We'd been planning to eat here for a while. We'd already had coffee and lunch, which were excellent. For dinner, you can choose a 3-, 4-, or 5-course meal at a very reasonable price. We had a delicious meal! The wine list was extensive, and almost everything could be ordered by the glass. In our opinion, a very good restaurant with excellent value for money.

Tonight we dined at the Panbos Restaurant. It's truly the perfect place to celebrate in peace. A charming restaurant nestled in the middle of the forest. You can drive there and park in the evening, which is great when it's pitch black outside. The dishes were exceptionally flavorful and beautifully balanced. We're going back there on February 14th to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Affordable, friendly, and good hot coffee (lunch for 2 people with one drink is €30). What a lovely lunch spot; we'll definitely be back. The soup is homemade, and the omelet is simply delicious. Keep up the good work!

We arrived shortly before closing time, about 30 minutes beforehand, and asked for a table. We were very kindly offered a seat inside, where we were able to enjoy a delicious apple pie, a chocolate tower filled with vanilla cream, and delicious latte macchiato and cappuccino. It wasn't a problem at all that we had a Labrador, a rather large dog, with us. Great staff, delicious food and café, and dog-friendly. There are also drinking bowls for our furry friends outside.

An absolute must! After a walk in the beautiful Panbos, this is a great place to stay. The service is friendly and fast. The food was fresh and delicious. The price/quality ratio is incredibly good.

The four of us dined here before the musical "Soldaat van Oranje" (Soldier of Orange). We were asked about this when we made our reservation. We were offered a three-course meal, and the restaurant promised to ensure we'd be ready in time for the performance. We thoroughly enjoyed the surprise menu. It exceeded all our expectations. For €39.95, we were served a beautiful and delicate meal. Truly excellent value for money and highly recommended. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and service-oriented.

Zeer slechte ervaring. Wij hadden op de website gelezen dat er driegangen en à la carte maaltijden worden geserveerd. Wij hadden daarom gereserveerd voor een lunch maar kregen een (beduimelde) simpele lunchkaart in de handen geduwd (kroketten, tosti’s, pannenkoeken). Blijkt dat er alleen ‘s avonds een uitgebreide dinerkaart is. Wij waren 5 kwartier onderweg geweest naarstig restaurant en zijn zeer teleurgesteld meteen weer vertrokken.

Before the visit of "The Soldier of Orange," four people enjoyed a perfect dinner. A delicious appetizer for three consisted of shrimp in a heavenly sauce, which was licked down to the last drop, and green asparagus for the fourth guest. She also said it was delicious. The main course, consisting of three tournedos and a steak tartare, exceeded all expectations. And the dark forest walk to the performance grounds made the evening an adventure.

We were going out for dinner tonight. Unfortunately, we received a call at 5 p.m. saying the chef was home sick. We had to make reservations for another time. It's a shame the team is so small.

Today with my elderly parents-in-law, I wanted to have a nice coffee! However, unfortunately closed without mentioning this on the website! Had to walk all the way back with elderly people. Would be nice to communicate this!!!! Of course not just on the door when you are there!

Small menu but enough to choose from and give you an idea of ​​what you want.

Although the service was quite friendly and reasonable, we won't be returning anytime soon. The food (tomato omelet) was very soggy, the accompanying butter was rock hard, and the white bread (unfortunately, there was no brown) was tough. The presence of the dogs also made the atmosphere rather unpleasant.

This is a wonderful place to really unwind after a long walk in the woods. I had a Gulpener Herfstbock, which was really delicious, and I enjoyed doing a crossword puzzle with a beer. I really enjoyed it.

We had a delicious meal. The service was very friendly and helpful. Afterward, we took a lovely walk through the woods. Ample parking is available within a 5-minute walk.

We arrived for a hot lunch, as advertised on the website, and it turned out that this had to be arranged in advance. However, after our initial shock, we were presented with a fantastic hot lunch that showed no signs of improvisation! Compliments! And even the best tournedos ever!

No stars for the food because we only had drinks. Friendly people and a nice atmosphere. Perfect after a walk through the beautiful forest.

Superb restaurant, great offer of fresh food, fish, meat vegetables and fine wines. Combined with a friendly hospitality, a good place to enjoy and relax.

You wouldn't expect it in a place like this, but this is a great lunch spot. Tomato soup that doesn't come in a can, shrimp croquettes with real shrimp in them. And that with the current shrimp price. I'll be back.

Panbos is a true hidden gem, family operated and tucked away in the woods 1/4 mile off the road. We had lunch there one day and enjoyed the best burger ever. We went back for a prix-fixe chef's surprise dinner on another day and it was excellent. The best meals we have had in The Netherlands. The service was great too.

Had an afternoon party at Panbos restaurant this afternoon. Enjoyed it wonderfully. Tasty sandwiches, scones and sweets with delicious teas. And the children could choose from the kids menu. Nice service. And afterwards, enjoy playing outside and walking in the Panbos. We wanted to come with 58 people and they came up with the good idea of ​​doing two groups one after the other. That went fine. Recommended.

Haven't walked in the Persijn forest for a long time. The restaurant was new to us, we had coffee and a pastry. Well cared for.

Delicious lunch with good tasty ingredients! You can taste that it was made with care. Friendly quiet atmosphere. No rush. No pushy service. Fairly priced. We had hamburger (what great meat!) and goat cheese salad (with fresh figs, so tasty). It is located in the middle of the forest where you can enjoy walking.

Expensive piece of apple pie?!!!!??? This morning, after a walk with the children, a cup of coffee with a piece of apple pie. Of course with whipped cream but these prices are out of this world. €4.95 for a small slice of apple pie and then you have to pay €0.85 for a dollop of whipped cream. I paid that much for a piece of apple pie and whipped cream. Ridiculous.

Wat heerlijk ...... Lekker buiten eten genieten van de natuur onder het genot van een biertje/wijn fantastisch. Ik raad je aan om de hamburger te smullen wat een heerlijkheid pfffff. Wij hebben lekker gegeten en super genoten van de gezellige sfeer. Aanrader als je gewoon in alle rust wilt genieten.

Een prachtig restaurantje in t midden van t panbos. Gerund door een familie. Jammere was dat we geen kaart aangeboden kregen en toen we om de drankkaart vroeg stonden er slechts wat borrelhapjes op die bij het bestellen ook nog eens niet te krijgen waren. De sfeer is erg gezellig en het personeel vriendelijk maar niet heel alert.

Wauw!! Echt bijzonder aangenaam verrast door deze parel, verscholen in het bos! Een heerlijke plek onder de bomen met een fijne ambiance en goede sfeer. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst en top bediening. Het 4 gangen verassings menu was echt waanzinnig lekker! De prijskwaliteit verhouding is echt top. AANRADER!!

Heerlijk gegeten leuk voelt als thuiskomen lekker sfeertje zo ons ding in prachtige omgeving

Mooie entourage midden in de duinen. Fijn terras in de avondzon. Wijnen zeer goed qua prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Jammer dat het een beetje ver van de bewoonde wereld is. Daardoor zat het ook niet vol op zaterdagavond. Toch wel aan te raden om op de fiets te komen gezien het goede wijnarrangement.

High tea met een merkwaardige samenstelling. Theepot met één smaak; handiger zijn theebuiltjes. Eerst alles zoet, daarna te harde broodjes met twee soorten beleg. Geen sandwiches.

Prima restaurant, fijne bediening. Porties niet heel groot, maar dat was nu niet erg, waren niet heel hongerig. Jammer dat men geen Radler 0.0 had. Lekker kortbij musical Doldaat van Oranje

I got an big omelet filled with cheese and ham for lunch. Althought the service was fine, I missed that spark from the staff. The scenic atmosphere as well as the comfortable seating was a big plus for my visit. Worth the visit if you're nearby!

Midden in het bos, fijne sfeer, heerlijk eten met goede wijn. Het regent, of je soms met de auto even naar je auto gebracht wilt worden die op het gratis parkeerterrein staat op paar minuten wandelen… Top!

Vooraf gebeld en gemaild met de eigenaar om voor ons strakke budget een borrel te kunnen organiseren. Daar kwamen we al vlot uit, heel fijn. Er werd uitgegaan van 3 drankjes pp en 2 keer bittergarnituur. Toen de middag van ons uitje. Ik kwam met een collega naar binnen om ons te melden dat we er waren en werden niet al te vriendelijk ontvangen door de (denk ik) eigenaresse. Er kon geen vriendelijk woord vanaf. We waren met ongeveer 45 mensen, er was 1 jongen die ons bediende maar ook alles opnam en alles afruimde. Hij had het veel te druk. We zaten er vanaf 14:00 u tot 16:00 u en de meesten hadden maar 1 of 2 drankjes op, omdat we enorm lang moesten wachten op de drankjes! De afgesproken 3 drankjes pp kwamen we lang niet aan. Om 16:00 wilden een paar collega’s nog een drankje bestellen maar daar kwam niks van in want het was 16:00 uur geweest. Terwijl niemand 3 drankjes heeft gekregen. Wat een gierige bedoening. Echt jammer. Prachtige locatie maar niet voor een (betaalbare) borrel voor een grote groep.
