Delicious food, great service. We also picked it up again, and it was also great. It's great that the patio is smoke-free.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the pizzas. They were a third of a dough crust and the toppings were very mediocre. The salmon pizza was sour from the lemon. Update: Rating revised after another disappointment. After contacting the restaurant below, I emailed them several times, but they didn't respond. So, don't offer it.

Yesterday I had a delicious pizza with a wonderfully thick crust, and it came with a delicious dipping sauce (homemade truffle mayo). I'll definitely be back. Very friendly staff too.

Picked up pizza to go. The dough is homemade. Nice and airy and thin in the middle. A good balance of ingredients. We had the margherita, mushroom, and prosciutto con burrata. As a pizza lover, I would come here every week, but since we were on vacation nearby, that wasn't going to happen.

We had a wonderful meal at Pipa, sitting outside on the cozy terrace. We were greeted with delicious bruschetta and enjoyed authentic, fresh Italian pasta, made with love. The price-quality ratio is excellent! Our dog was welcome too. The staff was also very friendly; we will definitely be back!

What a lovely place! It has a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and spontaneous. The owner works hard, but he also makes time for a chat (great fun!). We had a delicious meal here. The pizzas tasted like you're in Naples—fantastic! We also tried some pasta. Perfectly al dente and with a delicious sauce. Our favorite was the pasta carbonara.

On one of the busiest catering days (Ascension Day) we ordered seven pizzas and a pasta, taking into account the crowds. When picking up, it turned out to take a bit longer and we got a drink on the house. Super attentive! While we waited quietly, we could see that the staff was working their socks off and holding their own despite a packed restaurant and the orders that kept coming in. Without sacrificing friendliness or professionalism. Only respect for this. The pizzas were delicious! Tasty base, fresh ingredients and sufficient toppings. With the pizza carpaccio, the meat was even given separately. The pasta was a bit on the small side for a big appetite, but that was the only caveat. Unprecedented for Hengelo (Gld). When the opportunity arises, we will gladly come back. Keep it up!

A very nice tent. I'm shocked by the prices. At least 7 euros for a glass of wine and pizzas on average 18 euros. 3 people ate. We have to pay 111 euros for 4 wines, a prosecco, an aperol Spritze, 1 coffee and 1 cappuccino, a bread basket with 3 spreads, a calzone pizza, pizza with chicken and pesto and a children's pizza. I find that quite bizarre for a pizzeria. Shame.

A pleasant surprise!! We are on holiday for a few days and ended up here by chance. A bit late, but that really wasn't a problem. We were very pleased with the super friendly and enthusiastic lady who served us. Super delicious fresh focaccia, super tasty main courses. They can still learn from that in the Randstad, hospitality and especially friendliness!!

Recently had dinner here with my family. Started with a delicious foccacia that was super fresh! As a main course a pizza steak, the steak was perfectly cooked and the pizza had a very light yet crispy crust. Afterwards we had various types of desserts with a little bit of everything. Highly recommended!

Had a party yesterday at Pipa restaurant. We were welcomed with an Aperol spritz, limoncello sprits and fresh orange juice for the non-alcoholic drink. What were we fed? Actually too many to mention but I will do it anyway: focaccia and carpaccio. Italian meats. Ravioli and tasty fresh lettuce with pecorino and balsamic vinegar. Large bowls of delicious ribeye. Pizza. Finally, Italian ice cream. All this at appropriate intervals! The limoncello flowed freely and was served in shot glasses. The friendly staff worked hard and everything was possible, and of course not to forget the chef, he worked so hard to make this party a PARTY!

First briefly: If you don't want or are not allowed to eat salt, this is a REALLY great place to go!!! At Pipa my food tastes as it should; little added salt = PERFECT for me!!! Thanks for this cook! In more detail: After we had already had a good pizza here a few times, I had to take care of something one evening. So we stumbled over slippery streets to Pipa :-D There is a cozy atmosphere inside and the service was busy taking care of the guests. Greeted quickly and friendly by the ladies on duty and after being provided with an Italian bock beer, I ordered a tomato soup and Pizza carpaccio. After a tasty but somewhat spicy cup of tomato soup (I love it, but...) I really enjoyed the very well filled pizza, which surprised me because of the nice variety of natural flavors that revealed themselves. Also partly because (very fine (y)) little to no extra salt was added. That keeps the taste pure, TOP. The radio was quite loud, but after a comment about it, the staff acknowledged this and lowered the volume. Better... Afterwards we chatted with the chef about the food, the flavor retention and the additions. There was mutual understanding, because this team is really open to comments, tips and criticism, if you want to call it that. I was told by the chef, among other things, that he was raised at home with little salt use and that's great (for me). He further explained that this is only added because of a process, such as production of the dough and, for example, the tomato sauce, both of which are homemade. Team Pipa, thank you and respect for your work. A few small points for improvement, hence a total of 4 instead of 5 stars. But 5 stars for the service, so I would love to come back! TIP: it is a small restaurant so booking in advance is recommended.

I wanted to eat here because of the good reviews. The pizzas are indeed good! Crispy and soft base with tasty toppings. Unfortunately, it was sparse...the arugula, pesto and artichoke were barely visible. Burrata tasty, but unfortunately also a few small pieces instead of a whole ball (which I expected with that price). Fish pizza is richly topped. Otherwise fine, but just missing something more. Super friendly casual service. Nice girls. It's also cute, quite small, so I recommend making a reservation.

Zijn op de vrijdagavond van de kermis gaan eten. Het menu was vanwege de kermis beperkt tot pizza. Ik ben niet echt een pizza fan.. maaaaar deze pizza's waren echt heerlijk! Perfect gebakken niet te dikke bodem. Mijn man vond het zelfs de beste pizza ooit! Heerlijke wijn en lekker wit biertjes. Kortom zeer aan te bevelen. Wij komen zeker terug!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Pipa . De eigenaar was heel gastvrij en vriendelijk kortom een super leuk restaurantje met een goede sfeer.

Ik vind het heel vervelend om negatieve kritiek te geven, maar ik denk dat ervan geleerd kan worden. Op de menukaart stonden behalve pizza's en een paar pasta's ook vlees en visgerechten. Echter die waren niet leverbaar. Dat is jammer laat ze dan niet op de kaart staan en zeg dat dan zodra je de menukaarten aanreikt. Het duurde echt veel te lang voordat de bestelde gerechten op tafel kwamen, dat is niet goed. De bediening op zich was in orde. Kortom, doe er wat aan anders gaat het niet goed komen.

Gezellig met 10 man buiten gegeten. Leuke sfeer en vriendelijk personeel. Zelf had ik tortellini wat heerlijk was. De pizza die mijn vrouw niet op kreeg was erg smaakvol. Het dessert was ook erg lekker. We komen zeker terug.

Wat een leuk restaurant. Met een super leuke (jonge man) eigenaar. Heerlijke Italiaanse wijnen en biertjes. Met zalige pizza’s. Echt een aanrader op een zonnig gezellig terras.

Ik heb heerlijk gegeten en genoten van de sfeer. Het eten was meer dan ik verwacht had en vond de bediening erg persoonlijk. Ook vind ik het concept van de open keuken erg goed, het houd het restaurant nog levendiger en zo kon je de goede kok mooi aan het werk zien!

Super lekker gegeten! Vriendelijk en vlotte bediening. Zeker een aanrader!

Wij hebben 4 pizza's telefonisch besteld. We konden de pizza's anderhalf uur (19u) ophalen. Om 19u waren ze nog niet klaar. Nu bleek 1 pizza te zijn gevallen en op nieuw gemaakt te worden. Overige pizza's gingen uit eindelijk nog een keer in de oven. Helaas werden de pizza's daardoor wat aangebrand. Stukken pizza's moeten weggooien. Erg jammer. Inmiddels hebben we contact gehad met Linde en hebben we nu wel lekkere pizza's gehad. En de toetjes waren ook super lekker. Bedankt voor de goede service.
