Zeer aangename lunch gehad met zes gangen en bijpassende wijn in sfeervol restaurant met industriële en toch warme atmosfeer. Rijke variatie van mooie en heerlijke gerechten én amuses waarvan er niet een teleurstelde! Absoluut een aanrader en zeker voor ons om weer terug te komen.

Mooie culinaire avond op mooie locatie. Stuk voor stuk zeer smakelijke en verzorgde gerechten. Uitstekende wijnen. Vriendelijke mensen. Topavond!

Sillyfox is al meerdere jaren ons favoriete restaurant. De ligging in de Veghelse Noordkase is bijzonder en het restaurant speelt perfect in op de industriële omgeving. Het personeel is professioneel, maar ook informeel en chef-kok Joppe verschijnt altijd even aan je tafel voor een gezellig praatje en uitleg over het diner. De kaart is uitgebreid, variërend van 2 tot zelfs 10 gerechtjes en de amuses zijn spectaculair, zowel voor het oog als voor de smaakpapillen.

Wow, this was a dining experience to remember. Parking isn't an issue on a Wednesday. We received a warm welcome and friendly service at 6:30 PM. After two amuse-bouches, the real 5g dinner began, which we continued with a fantastic cheese board with port and finished with a surprisingly complete coffee and tea. We sat at the table for four hours without getting bored. We only made one mistake: we still had to drive and couldn't have too much wine. There are some really nice bottles on the menu that I would have loved to try. Oh well, that's for next time ;)

Joined us for lunch on the last round and that was no problem. You start lunch between 12:30 and 1:00 PM, but we only joined after 4:00 PM. So you have to take your time for this experience. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the complex on the Noordkade in Veghel. It is mentioned in the Michelin Guide, so that tells a lot. There is an elevator. The view shows you the industrial look of the area. This appearance can be found throughout the building and therefore also in this restaurant. The kitchen is open so you can see what is happening. There are various packages available, including the 'bob package' in case the wines or 20-year-old port need to be tasted. The port is definitely recommended! Each course is explained in detail what it is. For the cheese board, also which order of food was best. Everything was right and was reinforced by the friendly staff. There is plenty of free parking nearby. The entrance to the elevator is on the harbor side.

Had a wonderful evening, everything taken care of down to the last detail. Great service and all dishes 'to lick your fingers'. Enjoyed! A good reason to travel to Veghel :)

Great restaurant for a culinary surprise. The old factory location is great but a bit warm in the restaurant itself. Looking at the type of restaurant, the level and price range... I don't give it 5 stars, but I definitely recommend it. I say just do it.

Unique, brilliantly conceived and very tasty! Those are the characteristics that immediately come to mind. We took an 8-course menu and the price of 122 euros is excellent. This is absolutely neat and the dishes are delicious! We will most certainly come back. I would like to mention a few points: - It was quite cold and it was said that the building had a vacuum? The temperature was adjusted and after that it was doable. - The dishes are all quite salty; we both like it, but it's on the salty side. Again: we loved that. - Water is charged and that is only normal. But what if you refill the bottle with tap water without being asked? You can at least ask and mention this. - That a single glass of wine costs 10 euros? Also still to be done; but a glass of mocktail containing nothing more than ice cubes, a bitter lemon and a slice of lemon for 12.50? That really goes too far for me. You pay for the alcohol and this glass contained nothing more than a bitter lemon, water and ice. Then that price is really not fair or proportionate.

Zoals vaker gezegd: een mooi schilderij (het eten) moet een mooie lijst hebben (de zaak/sfeer en medewerk(st)ers). Dat klopt hier prima. Industrieel complex, apart en leuk. Maar het eten is natuurlijk wel hoofdzaak. 5 gangen lunchmenu, elk gerecht echt bovengemiddeld goed, 4.5 *. Prima (BOB) wijnarrangement. Het mooie dakterras bewaren we maar voor later.

As has often been said: a beautiful painting (the food) must have a beautiful frame (the business/atmosphere and employees). That's fine here. Industrial complex, different and fun. But of course the food is the most important thing. 5 course lunch menu, each dish really above average, 4.5 *. Excellent (BOB) wine arrangement. We'll save the beautiful roof terrace for later.

A great occasion, a great Restaurant. The Sillyfox has a very special location, at the top of an industrial building and the setting and decor of the place have been carefully thought out. Refinement and acoustics are perfect. We quickly understand that we are in a 'high-end' restaurant, the service is perfect and our friendly waiter even makes the effort to speak to us in French. We choose the 8-course menu, certainly not cheap, €119 excluding wine which we will take by the glass (€7.5/glass) because the bottle prices are too high, €75 for the cheapest bottle. Then come the surprises which follow one another at a sustained but perfectly orchestrated pace. In order Some divine appetizers to get you started. - Quail egg, parsley coulis on a bed of potatoes - Crunchy artichoke, grilled asparagus, tomato coulis - Grilled langoustine, asparagus (it's high season), vin jaune ice cream, roasted hazelnuts, herring, avocado, young vegetable oil, this dish is killer, I'm putting it at the top of tonight's menu. - Foam egg and its hidden contents. So many surprises, lemon caviar, shellfish, nuts, vegetable pickles, shitake, a favorite for this dish too. - Turbot, red curry sauce, whole peanut melting on the tongue, caviar garnish - Lamb neck, lamb chops, young asparagus, quinoa, sweet potato puree. - Slice of beef, asparagus and white butter sauce, morel and armagnac jus. - The only false note for me will come from the first 'dessert' which in reality hides a piece of Epoisse, a really fragrant cheese which does not go down, when like me, you don't like cheese. Maybe I should have asked if I ate cheese. - Two 'real desserts' (a little too sweet) will follow, but unfortunately will not make me forget the taste of the single bite of epoisse that I tasted a few minutes before,... - A great culinary adventure whose quality/price ratio is correct, only the prices of the wines need to be reviewed I think to make them affordable. We will definitely come back.

A friend of mine heard about this restaurant through an interview on the radio. Definitely didn't regret it! We used the JRE youth menu. This consisted of 5 FOXbites and 5 delicious and diverse courses. Possibly supplemented with a (small glass) wine arrangement. Or you can choose from the many wines they have. When you arrived at the location, you could easily park there. Just don't forget to put down your blue parking disc. You can then follow the signs to the restaurant, which is located on the top floor. Or you can ask at the information desk in the building. There are both stairs and an elevator available to get upstairs. When we arrived, the host was ready to receive us and guide us to our table. Not the "warmest welcome" I've ever felt, but certainly not antisocial or bad. Maybe she just had to come into her shift or she is new. Later that evening she helped kindly and smiled regularly, although she still seemed a bit nervous. There is a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. It is an industrial interior with a modern touch. Nice that you can see the wine collection from some seating areas. There are not that many tables, so you can sit quietly. This also ensures that it is not noisy. The food itself was very tasty. Various ingredients are used, none of which do not fit into the whole. Quite daring and sometimes powerful flavor combinations. Beautiful presentations with plates and cutlery that match the dishes and the interior. You saw that the service and chefs have a genuine passion for the profession. The only downside is that you have to go down one floor to use the toilet. There is no toilet in their restaurant. In other words, if you want to have a beautiful experience with good food and personal service, it is definitely worth going here.

Mooie locatie, fijne bediening. Gestart met een alcoholvrije cava, super! Genoten vh signatuur menu. Wat n plaatjes, wat een smaakexplosies, geweldig! Ook de begeleidende wijnen konden verrassen. Voor thuis nog een fles vd heerlijke Siciliaanse olijfolie meegenomen. We hebben beloofd om terug te komen voor de 8/10 gangen en dat gaan we zeker doen. Nogmaals dank aan de hele brigade voor deze mooie avond!!!

This time mixed feelings after lunch. It was pleasantly busy, so the signature menu is well priced. Food was very good as usual with the highlight being the frothy Tom Kha Kai. The chef's style is daring, with regular special flavor combinations and strong flavors. He is a fan of Asian ingredients that are used regularly. The accompanying wines were less appreciated this time. Just a very nice combination. The beer that was offered as an alternative to the trippel appeared on the bill at €69 per bottle. This really put a damper on this afternoon for us.

Went for dinner in April and chose the 10 course dinner with 4 matching wines. The food was really delicious, but we were presented with a dirty, unrinsed glass in front of us three times. Of course we reported this to the staff 3 times, so we thought it was special that it kept happening. Finally, when paying, there was one too many wines on the bill. No excuses were really made and we didn't really notice that she was upset about it.

Super mooie locatie, wij hadden het signature menu, heerlijke en verrassende creaties, alles tot in de puntjes geregeld, een absolute aanrader !!

Wat een feest! Vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooie, industriële inrichting. Relaxte en attente medewerkers. Heerlijk 4 gangen lunch menu met bijpassende wijnen. Elk gerecht was top. Qua presentatie maar zeker ook qua originaliteit en smaak. De gekozen wijnen pasten goed. Het was werkelijk een feest. Prijs/kwaliteit kloppend. Waar blijft de ster…?

Had dinner here with friends on a Saturday evening. Very friendly, relaxed welcome. We went for the 10 course menu. We have often eaten exclusively, including Bib gourmand and Michelin. The flavors and textures we were served here surpassed all previous dinners. Every dish was a surprise of flavors. In short, highly recommended!!!

We ate inside. The spot was a bit smaller, next to the cheese cart (which was put away upon request because the smell was very dominant) and we had a view of the dishwasher (glasses). The dishes were beautiful and tasty. The introduction was good... The food combination was not as special as hoped, but it was fine. I find the down payment understandable but not stylish and I would find it more appropriate if the table included water. All in all a nice evening and certainly room for growth.

Wat een belevenis, zoals elk jaar gaan we op onze trouwdag heerlijk uit eten bij Silly Fox. Dit keer gekozen voor het 10 gangen menu. Wat was dat een feestje! Gerechten die we al kenden en nieuwe gerechten. Maar allemaal een smaaksensatie! Voor mij persoonlijk sprong het buikspek met kaviaar eruit, mijn vrouw was flabbergasted van de coquille met wintertruffel. Al met al, wederom een uitmuntende belevenis met heerlijke en verrassende smaken en beeldschone opmaak. Tevens waren de wijnen een genot!

We enjoyed it so much last night that we forgot to take pictures. Every dish is a surprise in itself and the wines served match it perfectly. The chef and his staff welcome you in a hospitable and friendly manner, making you feel very welcome. Allergies are not experienced as difficult (or at least we did not notice that), rather a creative solution is sought. In other reviews I read complaints about the price/quality ratio. I would recommend these people to follow a cooking workshop at SillyFox. When you see how much attention, time and love goes into every part of the dish, you notice that the price/quality ratio is excellent. Smaller portions also mean that you have to think more about what you eat. In our opinion, enjoying a dish is not dependent on portion size. We always left with a satisfied feeling and will definitely come back!

Fantastic, we ran out of superlatives. The tastiest langoustine ever eaten and wow the view. Delicious wine arrangement with the 5-course dinner. I'm already looking forward to the next time

Enjoyed a truly excellent dinner at a special industrial location with a series of flavor explosions. A naturally fast eater will slow down a gear to enjoy the balanced flavors even more.

Nice food, but unfortunately no wow feeling.. service was a bit stiff.. dishes were on the small side. The wine choice with some dishes also did not quite fit. Price is really too high for what you get.

At an industrial location you come to an unusual place and you are guided through the evening with a young and enthusiastic team. The food is superb and the staff is friendly. The only downside is that we went to dinner a long time ago on a hot summer day and it was very hot in the restaurant, so we did not have an extensive meal because of the heat. The other guests were clearly also affected by it. Definitely recommended if you like good food! It's just a pity that the owner does not read his response carefully, because we were there in the summer and the heat in combination with wine and food really made you feel sick.

Echt heerlijk gegeten hier! BIJT barbecue was geslaagd!

Al 2x eerder een poging gedaan om bij Joppe en zijn team te eten maar toen was er corona. Nu het bbq-menu cadeau gekregen voor mijn verjaardag. Het was fan-tas-tisch❤️ Elke gang was zo lekker. We begonnen op het dakterras met prachtig uitzicht. Door onweersbuien werden we net voor het toetje naar binnen gebracht. Ook leuk om daar rond te kijken. Hele mooie locatie. Bediening was erg vriendelijk en klantvriendelijk. . We komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Ik heb heel lekker gegeten bij jullie vandaag! Samen met papa, Dian en opa hebben we een 3-gangen menu op als lunch. Het was echt echt heel lekker. Het lekkerste vond ik het toetje met de chocolade munt. Groetjes Levi (ik ben 8 jaar)

Met Joiina samen heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. 10 gangen gegeten. Leuke gerechten. Goed op smaak. Gewoon top.

Geweldige zomeravond op het dakterras.

We begonnen op het dakterras met een geweldig uitzicht en fijne ambiance. Vanwege de temperatuur werden we in de loop van de avond keurig naar binnen begeleid. We kozen voor het 8 gangen verrassing menu met verschillende heerlijke amuses vooraf. Alle gerechten waren heerlijk. Wel heel klein. En dat maakte ook dat de tijd tussen 2 gangen; namelijk 45 minuten, wel erg lang was voor ons. In totaal 5 uur aan tafel gezeten. Veel personeel leek onervaren en gaf vooral een onrustige indruk. Koks allen met een horloge; hoe zit het met de hygiëne. Daarnaast aten de koks heel veel tijdens het koken. Wat we als niet professioneel hebben ervaren. Voor ons is de prijs-kwaliteit-beleving niet in balans. Maar wat we hebben gegeten was wel echt lekker.

Mijn verjaardag gevierd bij Sillyfox met 57 vrienden en vriendinnen (geen anderen in het restaurant die avond). Alles top geregeld en heerlijk gegeten: cava als aperitief op het dakterras, 5 amuses en 1 voorgerecht staand en daarna 7 gangen zittend aan tafel. Als afsluiter koffie en thee weer staand. Mooie dynamiek. Goed rekening gehouden met dieetwensen en allergieën. Na afloop liep Whatsapp vol met alleen maar enthousiaste reacties over de sfeer en het eten. Dank, Joppe en team!

Moderne inrichting in een oud gebouw, met een aangename sfeer. De bediening is vlot vriendelijk, soms zelfs wat joviaal. De gerechten zijn stuk voor stuk een lust voor het oog. De smaken zijn uitgesproken en gedurfd. Een leuke ontdekkingsreis.

Top restaurant op het hoogste punt van de Noordkade Veghel. De lift had wat kuren, de trappen op is best een hele klim.

W O W Gewoon W O W. Ambiance, smaaksensatie, wijnen. Gewoon PERFECT Wij zijn hier in december geweest en blijven erover praten. Chefkok kwam zelf de amuse brengen, kort praatje mee gemaakt. Fijne persoonlijke touch. Mooie locatie en ambiance, je kon alles volgen in de keuken. Eten was GEWELDIG, texturen, smaken, iedere keer een verassing en feestje. Sommelier erg enthousiast, ook goede uitleg. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Aangename zaterdagmiddag lunch met top gerechten. Super setting en top bediening. Aanrader.

Onverwacht fijn verblijf op een onverwachte locatie. Met zorg uitgeserveerd, bijzondere proeverij.

Een relaxed en zeer goed restaurant zonder opgeprikt te zijn! Sfeer en muziek zijn ontspannen. De akoestiek is ook zeer goed ondanks dat we anders verwacht hadden in een ruimte gemaakt van beton. Ze hebben hier ook maatregelen voor genomen. Eten leuk en verassend. Eigenaar Joppe werkt volop mee in de open keuken en komt ook nog even langs per tafel om iets aan te bieden. Prijzen vonden we wel wat aan de hoge kant 6 euro voor een half litertje tafelwater en 17,50 voor een French koffie was wel even schrikken voor ons.

Wat een geweldig restaurant! Hebben ons laten verrassen door het 10 gangen menu,en een verrassing was dat zeker! Elke hap van de gerechtjes was weer anders,zo lekker dat je verschillende smaken kunt proeven in één en hetzelfde gerecht. Behalve het super lekkere eten was ook het personeel top,en natuurlijke de mooie lokatie. Hadden een mooi plekje in het midden van de zaak. Dit restaurant is zeker zijn ster waard! Wij komen zeker nog terug hier.

Verrassende smaken en goede wijn-spijs combinatie. Heerlijke mocktail gedronken ook. We voelden ons welkom en op ons gemak. Leuk om direct op de keuken te kijken. Het pand was wel wat spannend voor twee mensen met hoogtevrees (glazen doorkijkjes in de vloer) 😉

Was er vorige week. Heerlijk gegeten, prachtige gerechten! Soms de wijn-spijs combinatie niet duidelijk uitgelegd. Maar ik kom er graag een keertje terug!

We komen al een tijdje bij Sillyfox en waarderen de persoonlijke aandacht enorm. Tijdens corona hebben wij regelmatig thuismenu's gehaald bij Sillyfox die altijd erg lekker waren met een goede beschrijving. Het was nooit een probleem om het menu aan te passen naar onze wensen. Zo ook tijdens ons laatste bezoek in het restaurant op 11-03-22. Wij hebben weer lekker gegeten en een gezellige avond gehad. Wij komen graag nog eens terug
