You absolutely have to eat here; what creativity and kindness from these two young entrepreneurs. So much respect for what they've managed to create together. Go in quickly because the location is unfortunately not inviting, but once inside, you won't notice it anymore. Highly recommended.

Exceptionally delicious food. I ordered a delicious 4-course dinner for my partner and a 5-course dinner for myself. The dishes were incredibly original and tasty, and the service was friendly and attentive. All of this in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I was also very surprised by the appetizers and extra dishes, which were very original. They work with local suppliers and only use ingredients that are currently harvested. It wasn't planned in advance, but it was a wonderful discovery. Even if you can't eat everything or want to avoid meat dishes, you can still have a truly delicious meal here. Super lekker gegeten! We hebben gekozen voor een 4-gangenmenu en elke gang was echt een feestje op zich. Je merkt aan alles dat hier passie in de keuken staat. De gerechten waren verfijnd, prachtig opgemaakt en vol smaak. We hebben op het terras gezeten, wat het extra gezellig maakte. Ik denk serieus dat deze mensen nog wel eens een ster gaan binnenhalen voor hun kookkunsten. De bediening was vriendelijk en professioneel, en de sfeer voelde warm en gastvrij. Absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die van topkwaliteit en vers eten houdt.

A great experience. Culinary highlights with every course a surprise what you got. We started with a nice glass of Cava and took the 4-course menu. Because we did not know what we got, we asked for advice about the wine. It eventually became a delicious, full, fresh bottle of wine from South Africa. Also for my daughter with gluten intolerance had beautiful dishes in line with the menu. Our enthusiastic and expert hostesses made the evening complete. We will be back.

We were at Stampij on Easter Monday as guests of our daughter/son-in-law. A warm welcome, very surprising amuses in an Easter atmosphere, great surprise menu of very high quality. Extrac surprise: a beautifully prepared extra amuse for dessert. Dessert: cheese board made from regional products, just like the rest of the delicious food. I opted for a sweet dessert, a small risk because I am not a sweet tooth lover. With the description sweet, the Stampij chef is selling himself short. A wonderful mix of flavors. Prachtige en bijzondere gerechten met veel heerlijke aperitiefjes. Als je naar binnen kijkt lijkt de ruimte donker, maar binnen is het zeer sfeervol. De chef-kok en gastvrouw zijn super vriendelijk en toch professioneel. Een echte top tent! De foto van het bloempotje is een aperitief voor het nagerecht. De andere foto is een voorgerecht met vis.

Hospitality and pampering is what I think of after our visit to Stampij. Extremely friendly service with an eye for you as a customer. Before and after our five-course menu you will be treated to all kinds of extra appetizers. The goal is clearly to pamper the customer. The young team does everything they can to ensure you have a pleasant evening. The food is culinary and surprising, but not quite top notch. Tasty courses were alternated with dishes that still needed some improvement. In addition, the first courses were on the tight side, so we didn't go home completely satisfied. This restaurant has enormous potential, but still needs to reach full maturity to be absolutely great. The youthfulness still radiates from it. Once the small errors in the service have been ironed out and the courses are all in balance in terms of taste and quantity, then we are dealing with a gem.

Heerlijk gegeten. Iedere gang was een schilderijtje op je bord, verrassende en intense smaken. Bij iedere gang de juiste wijn, echt heel erg lekker allemaal. Mooi dat je de kok met alle liefde en aandacht bezig ziet. Ook de gastvrouw zorgde voor een gezellige sfeer en was een vakkundige gastvrouw. Het is er niet zo groot en ze creeren daarmee een huiselijke sfeer.

Wat een heerlijk klein, knus en gezellig restaurant. Het zit niet in de straat met veel restaurants in Doetinchem maar een beetje verborgen tussen de winkels. Bij binnenkomst wordt je vriendelijk begroet. We zijn hier 2e kerstdag wezen eten. Het eten was verrassend, heel goed verzorgd en super lekkere. De wijnen die geserveerd werden waren super lekker in combinatie met het eten. De glazen werden ook goed vol geschonken. Kortom een zeer geslaagde avond. Dus wil je lekker en goed verzorgd uit eten dan zou ik Stampij zeker aanraden.

Mooi en voor ons nieuw restaurant. Goede aanvulling in hogere segment. Heerlijk 4 gangen menu (wild en vegetarisch) met vooraf vers brood, bijzondere en smaakvolle bieren, goede en bijpassende wijnen. Heerlijke koffie en kaasplankje met kazen uit de regio als dessert. Had dinner here with my wife. We had a 5 course menu with game. Food was very good. Tasty dishes that are beautifully put together with lots of flavor. Nice to see that they have many products from the region. The service was good, friendly people. Who will speak to you politely but not stiffly. Explain the food and wine in a fun and smooth way. Upon entering it has a somewhat unusual look, because you immediately see part of the kitchen. If you walk further to the back, it has a cozy modern atmosphere. It's also very nice that you can see what the staff is doing in the (front) kitchen and behind the bar. Highly recommended for people who enjoy going on a flavor journey.

Leuk en sfeervol restaurant in Doetinchem. Wordt heerlijk gekookt in een open keuken. Vriendelijk en deskundig personeel. 4 gangen diner genoten. Porties veel te klein voor een gemiddelde eter, dat was een teleurstelling.

Het eten is prima maar de gerechtjes zijn wel erg klein het is meer een tapas restaurant. De zit plaatsen in de zitjes met banken zijn wel heel erg klein.

Google needs to adjust its menu because you cannot eat Indian food there. It is a culinary high-quality restaurant and it has not been there that long. I find it a bit difficult to give stars because the culinary concept honestly doesn't really suit me and my partner. We did not choose this restaurant, that was done by family members. So it was a surprise for us because we normally go to average but always good quality restaurants (for us, for example, we prefer not to have an all-in VR dining barn). Because the culinary high quality in terms of portions but also in terms of experience is very different and distinguishes itself from regular gastronomy and we went there unsuspecting, it is therefore somewhat difficult to properly assess. Especially because we are not actually people who like this way of eating out. Maybe we are just too down-to-earth and too simple for it, because for us something like this will never be a great experience in advance. We opted for a five-course menu. You couldn't choose any dishes, which we didn't like to begin with. You can indicate what you really don't like or like, but you still forget certain things that you will of course be served again (you will always see). That's how we got duck breast, which we never order. We both don't like it. In terms of quality, I also thought the dish was substandard, because I ate it (that's how I was raised) but I could only eat a small piece of it (of the equally small piece I had on my plate in the first place) because it was simply was super tough. Several table companions had problems. The fish dishes were good, but to say what a taste experience… no, absolutely not. Then we had a veal sweetbread, but I had specified no organ meat. It was also nicely exchanged for another fish dish (three times fish of the four savory courses). I could hardly finish the sweet dessert I had chosen (which could also have been a cheese board). A combination of what I consider a wet marshmallow with licorice frummeltjes and some blackberry mousse with sour matten sauce. I really don't want licorice or sour mats in my dessert, leave that in the candy store for the kids. But you don't think about something like that in advance. You will not say “I'd rather not have licorice or sour mats in my dessert”. So the surprise menu was unfortunately not successful for us. So when paying we still felt like we hadn't eaten anything. We were blown away by the price because what we normally spend for two people at De Roode Leeuw or a Van der Eem in Terborg (then we had a delicious and more than sufficient meal), we now spent for one person. And so we still had to eat at home. I was still hungry, even though we are small eaters. I can see that attention has been paid to the dishes and I understand that a lot of knowledge is needed to come up with such creations and to present them in such a way, but as far as I am concerned, for this money the food should have really exploded on our tongue in terms of taste experience. . If we had still been hungry afterwards, we could have said that this is a truly special experience. So it wasn't for us. Not so for some of the other table companions. I don't know what the booker thought about it, we haven't spoken to her yet. I will add that if we had known this in advance, we would honestly say that we would have skipped this time. Then we would go to a “normal” restaurant next time. We would much rather have spent our money differently. Of course, this does not mean that the other person will also think the same way. The concept is a surprise menu, normally I want to be able to choose which dish I take, but I was positively surprised. The food was of good quality and most products come from the area. Outside is a small but nice terrace where you can enjoy all the delicious food served in the sun.

Ate with 4 ex-colleagues, beautiful and refined dishes. But the devil was in the tail. We were there at 6 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m. the manager came to us and said she had an annoying announcement. In 5 minutes our table was reserved again. Very surprising for us, we had made a reservation 4 weeks ago and nothing was said about this. The response was: people usually finish their meal within 3 hours. We have indicated that we find this particularly unpleasant. Yes, unfortunately, but I can't do anything for you, it's full. We have been eating together every 3 months in Doetinchem and the surrounding area for 10 years, but we have never experienced this. Extremely unwelcoming and even rude. A few of us were still looking for the coat and the table was already being cleared. No tip was given and because of this bad experience we will never come back and this experience will be passed on. A very unpleasant end to this evening.

Alles wat je bestelt is van goede kwaliteit en met een originele twist. De wijnkaart is ook super uitgebreid en heeft meer keuzes dan je standaard sauvignon blanc.
