We had a very good meal here today. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the homemade herb butter was delicious.

Four of us, including our dog, spontaneously arrived for dinner. From the very beginning, the staff were warm and accommodating. A wonderful place in the winter garden with a truly pleasant atmosphere. The food, both meat and fish, was absolutely delicious. Dessert and wine were equally as delicious. The prices are absolutely reasonable and really good value for what you get. The highlight for me was the oven-baked fish platter in a white wine sauce. We'd gladly go back. Highly recommended.

A restaurant located a bit outside the center of Breskens, but definitely worth a visit. A warm welcome! We were given a nice spot. We chose the fried eel from the suggestions. Delicious food!!! Very smooth and friendly service. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

The starters were simply excellent. The seafood platter could be adapted to suit one person. The cod dish was divine for my husband. Definitely worth the detour ❤️

On the Sunday of the fishing festival, we first enjoyed a delicious portion of mussels. They were delicious, and it was also a pleasant experience.

We had a delicious meal, highly recommended. We received a fantastic welcome from the staff and owner. I will definitely eat here again within the next two weeks. They deserve a 10.

The staff was very friendly, and the location and ambiance were truly pleasant. Unfortunately, the food wasn't impressive – we had four different main courses, but none of them tasted good to us. One was very salty, another didn't taste good at all, and one of them was presented in an inconvenient way for eating. Overall, we were disappointed with the main courses. On the positive side, however, the starters deserve special mention – we enjoyed them.

Great location and delicious food, partly due to the hospitable company we had an unforgettable evening in Bresjes that is worth repeating.

It was our first time at this restaurant. We must say, we'll definitely be back in the future. The atmosphere was great, but today there was no background music. The service was also excellent, with two very helpful ladies and a very friendly young man. Unfortunately, there were no filleting knives with the sole today. But apart from these two Marches, everything was excellent. Therefore, an overall rating of 5 out of 5.

Delicious food. Fish stew with delicious sauce. And cod in mustard sauce. Amount of fish is a bit small. But with some fries enough. Oysters as a starter and they were delicious.

Upon entering we were welcomed by the owner and were further indicated to staff who showed us a place to sit! Then we really enjoyed our food! everything was to our liking! definitely worth recommending if you are in Breskens and surroundings!

Today, we were in the mood for mussels. So we stopped by the Vissershuis for the first time. A good choice, as the plain mussels were quite tasty and the large fried sole was very fine. The plate was appetizingly garnished with sea bream sprouts and remoulade, the fries were crispy, and the mayonnaise seemed to have a hint of saffron. The setting is also attractively presented. The service was friendly and attentive. We would be happy to come back. It would be nice if the large water bottle were also presented in the bottle cooler and if there were fish cutlery for the fish.

Great evening! We had reserved a table for three people plus our dog. We got a dog-friendly table at the edge, and a chair was removed so the dog had a good spot. The appetizers and main courses were incredibly delicious, and the portions were very generous. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the value for money was definitely good! We'll be back.

We ate at the Fischerhaus yesterday and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff are so great, and the owner (I think it was the owner) is so sweet. She even treated our dog to some food. The food was absolutely delicious. We'll be back!

Good seafood platter served lukewarm because crustaceans are cooked to order

“Fish platter for two” was great, with four homemade sauces, delicious baguette and crispy fries. Really first class. Only the service could be better, but maybe. the young service workers were still in training. Bottom line: the visit is definitely worth it and would be happy to do it again

Never experienced such good staff as in this restaurant. Very attentive, courteous and well trained. The food was very, very tasty and sometimes something completely new for me. As a side dish with the cod there was samphire (sea asparagus). Never eaten it before, it was very tasty! Great restaurant, highly recommended!

Very tasty food and friendly service

We went for dinner, last Sunday. Our table was reserved for 5:30 pm. When we arrived, the restaurant was still empty. After a somewhat cold reception, we were seated with a view to the garbage bins outside. They were in principle right next to us, just outside. Overall, we were asked three times (!!!) whether we had a reservation. About the food: starters were okay, mains were rather unpleasant. I would not recommend.

As always, the food and service were great. This was our second time in Breskens and, like last year, we ate there every day. Everything we tried was delicious. The large fish platter is simply fresh and varied. But for us personally, the mussels with garlic sauce are the best we have ever eaten

I eat there every time I pass the area... For me (little Belgian), the mussels with cream and garlic / fries are simply the best in the world! Few people, comfortable portions, attentive service: an excellent experience! No parking problem: we are near the port... Experience renewed again this month of July 2024: still as satisfied! In addition, the owner has made great progress in French, which makes the welcome even more pleasant...

Had a delicious meal on my birthday and everything was fresh. Just a pity that the main course arrived very late because they forgot to send it to the kitchen.

Nowadays one of the best places to eat quality food at a reasonable price. All products are absolutely fresh, varied menu and balanced flavors. We come almost every week in the summer and are always satisfied. Moreover, top service and super friendly owners. Highly recommended in Breskens.

Dinner was a fish pan in white wine sauce with samphire and fries, an appetizer of bread with butter (freshly baked with garlic butter). Very delicious. All fish cooked but still tender. Price seemed a bit high at first, but in the end I thought the price-quality ratio was excellent. I will definitely visit again in the future.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We stopped here on the way home from Bruges on Sunday evening. Very friendly service and seriously delicious seafood! The scampi starter was one of the best dishes I had this year. Oh, even though my dogs did not join me on this trip, it’s also very dog friendly here. Bonus point in my book!

Monkfish was very good. Service mediocre. Bread only upon request. Fish soup and lobster soup were not special. Lobster soup is sandy, fish soup is a bit thin and salty. A bit disappointing for the price range.

Wir haben während unseres Urlaubes in Breskens hier gegessen und wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service super freundlich und das Ambiente ist wirklich chic.

Krabbepoten en Canadese Kreeft gegeten met een frisse Chardonay erbij. Lekker. Meer moet dat niet zijn.

Zeer voortreffelijk, leuk en aangenaam restaurant. Vriendelijk, lekker, voldoende. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar, wat we zeker zullen doen.

Zeer lekker gegeten veel vis keuzes grote porties goed prijs-kwaliteitverhouding we komen zeker eens terug !

Wir waren heute Abend nach dem Strandspaziergang, nicht aufgestylt im fischerhaus zum Essen. Leider sind wir nicht wirklich freundlich bedient worden. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber wir bekamen das Besteck erst nachdem das Essen schon auf dem Tisch stand - Servietten gab es gar keine. Mein Mann hätte gerne noch ein Bier getrunken, aber keine Chance. Sehr schade, für den Preis könnte man einen besseren Service erwarten.

Dit weekend gegeten met 7 vrienden, zaten in de aanbouw aan de voorkant van het restaurant, gezellig druk, leuke sfeer, vlotte bediening. Keuze was op hen gevallen door het mooie aanbod van visgerechten, maar ook wat vleesgerechten. Vooraf kregen we wat, zelf te pellen, verse garnalen van de zaak, daarbij heerlijke wijnen geserveerd. Voorgerechten waren prima, oa asperges, vleesgerechten ook dik in orde, zelf vispannetje gekozen uit oven, HEERLIJK!! Diverse vrienden hadden de zeetong gekozen, was lekker, maar vonden de €45/stuk toch wel aan de maat. Kortom: goed visrestaurant, zeker gaan eten!!!

Het eten was super maar de service kon iets beter. Het lekkere eten maakte veel goed. Een pluim aan de keuken.
