Teppanyaki is small-scale. It's a great opportunity to chat with the chef. We arrived really late (8:30 PM, and the kitchen closes at 9:15 PM), but they still let us in. They still took the time for us, and even though it was later than we should have, we felt welcome and weren't looked away at all! It was really great. The option to choose a set menu is also nice. Often, it's a standard menu, and you might not eat half of it, but here you can choose your own dish.

Last Thursday we had a lovely meal downstairs (so not the griddle). It was nice and quiet, good atmosphere and the food tasted authentic and delicious (Japanese food tasted like that in terms of spices, I had to dance). The service was great. Well helped with making choices, walked around with gloves so it was nice and clean, even had a chat. Yes, actually everything was good. Both the food and the rest made us go home satisfied. We reserved the griddle (Teppanyaki) for Sunday on the spot.

Door de vele Sushi aanbieders was ik even vergeten hoe slecht dit is. Het betreft hier de Express dienst (bezorgen). Het eten is weinig Japans. Niet qua ingrediënten en niet qua bereiding. Ik kom zelf uit de Horeca en ik herken wanneer winst geoptimaliseerd wordt. Het ergste vind ik hoe mensen worden afgezeken op de review site van Tanuki Express na negatieve reviews met zeer herkenbare inhoud. Zeer onprofessioneel en ik ben erg benieuwd naar de leeftijd en de opleiding van de moderator

I ordered two wok dishes today, but I have to say the sauce was very thin (watery) and not very flavorful. I also ordered Korean chicken, which should have been small and crispy, but in this case, it was a poor showing. The nasi was good, though. Overall, I'm giving it 3 stars because the delivery was on time and the nasi was edible.

The food is delicious, one of the better teppanyaki restaurants in the area. The only surprise was that there were all kinds of extra amounts on the receipt. While we both chose the 4-course menu for €59 eu. This was not clearly shown on the map. As a result, the bill turned out to be slightly higher than expected. Anyway...the food was delicious!

Don’t recommend. Ordered sushi and Wui Wo chicken. They don’t taste fresh. Only ate a little bit. Had diarrhoea afterwards. By the way, I myself comes from Sichuan Province, which is a province famous for spicy food. The chicken I ordered is not spicy at all to me. Basically the rice is not fresh. The chicken is soooo not fresh and overcooked.

Asian food without all you can eat! The staff still knows what service and hospitality is and ensures that all questions about allergens are answered. The price/quality ratio/portion size is in good proportion and the quality of the sushi, poke bowls and other dishes is fantastic! Even though renovations are currently underway, the atmosphere in the basement is cozy and cozy. Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently not accessible to disabled people due to the stairs.

Tanuki is the place to be! Delicious dinner again tonight. Real sushi lovers must go here. Not only is the food good, the people are also very hospitable. A real family business with lots of warmth and love!

I went here on my birthday, absolutely loved the food. The Dragon Roll was my favorite

I guess this place is famous for locals, so I walked in expecting much. The food was okay but not impressive, salmon nigiri 🍣 was good, the sashimi cut was on a thick side, speed was okay. But the first impression wasn’t good, a bit empty and I thought it’s closed because nobody came for 10 minutes to the reception, adding more liveliness at the reception will be better for overall experience. Maybe because it’s during renovation?

Sushi tastes more than average all you can eat sushis. Portion is perfect for price spent, around 30-40€ per person. However, service was slow. On a positive note: they were very friendly but adding speed to the service will left more positive experience

After reading some reviews, the four of us decided to eat here. Opted for live cooking, the 4-course menu. What a wonderful and especially wonderful experience this was. Reception was very welcome, nice staff and very impressed with the chef. The restaurant looks neat and tidy, the service is top notch and the food is great. To be repeated!

Met mijn zoon gereserveerd op hier Wagyu vlees te gaan eten. Dat is erg prijzig gezien de ongeëvenaarde kwaliteit en dat heeft het restaurant op voorhand moeten bestellen. Zo gaat dat in de meeste kwaliteitsrestaurants die Wagyu serveren. Eerst aan de sushi begonnen, topkwaliteit. De bediening is gemoedelijk, vriendelijk en attent, helemaal niets op aan te merken. En de chefkok kwam na de sushi het stuk Wagyu presenteren voordat hij ermee aan de slag ging, het was een stuk van 450 gram, te verdelen over ons beide. Je ziet dus van tevoren wat je krijgt. Het vlees was fantastisch, jammer was dat de chefkok het in stukjes gesneden op het bord presenteerde. Ik had liever zelf het mes in mijn lapje Wagyu gezet, maar het is hem vergeven. Het was uitstekend gebakken. We zijn beneden gaan zitten, het restaurant heeft twee verdiepingen, boven de bakplaat en beneden gewoon tafeltjes, waar onze voorkeur naar uitging. Lekker rustig gegeten en gezeten, prima bediend, het eten is er top. Geweldige avond!

Delicious food on the teppanyaki griddle. Cooking is done in front of you. With other people around the baking tray, but it didn't bother me at all.

A genuine experience, even if you are not eating the tepanyakki plate. The staff was very friendly. The servers seemed a bit awkward, as if they still needed to get going after the catering closures of recent years. However, this was also because one staff member was still being trained, which initially causes a temporary imbalance in every company, so the restaurant or the service cannot be held accountable for this. The interior adds to an atmosphere, matching the delicious food. All in all, I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Yesterday we visited Tanuki restaurant with my wife, son and daughter-in-law. To my regret, the experiences were bad. My main course was the first and only one on the table. When I asked the waitress if she had forgotten my starter, soup, it was casually placed on the table next to my main course. "Everything was served together due to the crowds," I was told. Then the other dishes were brought to the table, drop by drop. While I was already done. My son didn't get a main course. “Forgotten,” was the comment. That was prepared while everyone had already finished eating. The quality of the food was good, but the service was terrible. Never again restaurant Tanuki for us

Helaas teleurgesteld na dit eerste bezoek. Het duurde erg lang voordat we onze gerechten kregen, wel 30 minuten tussen 1 gerecht en je mocht ook maar 1gerecht pp bestellen. Erg vreemd voor een onbeperkt sushi concept.Kwaliteit gerechten waren matig. Scheve prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. Volgende keer weer naar Koyo.

Gisteren kwam ik langs Tanuki gelopen en zag dat ze ook bezorgden. Wij wonen in Megen, dus ik dacht dat ze daar niet kwamen, maar toch getest en zeker geen spijt!! We hebben de nigiri mix en twee rolls besteld, perfecte hoeveel heid voor twee en ik kan alleen maar zeggen dat het heerlijk was. De nigiri mooi opgemaakt, smaak vers en goed. De rolls beiden erg lekker. Ik zelf vond de Hawaï, lekker knapperig, echt fantastisch. De Californië ook top. Ja dat doen we nog een keertje!

Very good quality food. Delivery was even a few minutes earlier than expected. I ordered 2 times the Thai Red Curry with chicken, 1 time Koe Loe Yok, 3 times the breaded shrimp Ebi Furai, 2 times edamame, 1 time Gyoza Chicken, 1 time Dua Van Cha Siu en For Nam, plus 3 orders of noodles and 2 orders of white rice. All dishes were really good and I got a 10% discount using the code MRT20. We will definitely order again.

Via Social deal 5 course menu. It was fantastic! The 2nd course was sushi, which I don't like at all, but it was really delicious! The meat afterwards: super tender, delicious salmon, extensive dessert, delicious vegetables, everything beautifully served by a very friendly girl. Indeed, sometimes there was a bit of a wait in between, but good work takes time, and so the food could go down a bit, with relaxed music. Conviviality knows no time... Only one point of attention: toilets could be cleaner.

Very good sushi, super tasty! You pay per sushi, so if you are a good eater, it will be more expensive than in an all you can eat restaurant.

I expected more from this, it wasn't really special, the food was tasty, but it was like a movie that doesn't get going properly, especially considering the price you pay for it, the time between dishes is quite long, every half hour or so, which starts to irritate more than We sat for 4 hours and drank more than we ate. Little choice in real sushi dishes

Too bad you have to wait 2 hours if you place an order via the site. Then you call politely to ask where the order is. Word is it's on its way. After my phone call I have now been waiting for more than half an hour. Just be honest and say that it will take longer instead of saying that your order is already on its way. Then I would understand. The food was very disappointing, which I am not used to as I order here often, but this is just a shame

On your wedding day you want something different to eat and the lady is happy that she doesn't have to cook. So we went to this Asian treat. A rare surprise that is recommended.

Ate yesterday with the Jumbo vouchers. With the first drink my husband gets a whole leaf in his neck, soaking wet and covered in red wine. He goes to get changed at home and is asked if there are only 5 of us left, and he is also asked if we want to order in advance and he says that we will wait for my husband. Fortunately, when serving the main courses, my neighbor almost got a tray of food thrown over her. When we have just finished the dessert, they come with the bill to ask if we want to pay it because there have been people waiting for half an hour to use our table. Well, we walked a bit late, but that's not our fault... we only heard sorry twice and didn't get a drink or anything for all the inconvenience. Once but never again!!!! Reply to your comment: It's a pity your reaction to accuse us of being liars... no dry cleaning costs were offered. We also didn't bully the waiter, we even told her anything can happen and all beginnings are difficult. And we wanted to order coffee but we didn't get the chance to order it because you would rather we paid and left.

I went here with my girlfriend for her birthday. We had the sushi dishes. Great taste and we left with full bellies. The service is really friendly and had a nice chat with the guy behind the counter. I would recommend this place because the food is great. Not too expensive and (we didn't pick that) but also have a table where food is prepared in front of you. That was looking quite amazing. (Even from a distance)

I had very high expectation based on the reviews that rave about this place...pretty much the worst dinner experience I had in a very long time. Sauces in small cups were already on the table when we got seated, with an eyelash in one of them. We had a 5-course menu and they wanted us to keep using the same cutlery throughtout the courses. The food was not fresh and just overall bad taste and quality. All my clothes and hair smelled like food after. Price-value ratio at this resturant is ridiculous, I would definitely not return.
