A truly fantastic evening! Delicious food, excellent service. Definitely worth a visit! They perfectly accommodated my lactose intolerance.

Wiesen has everything you hope to find in a fine dining restaurant. We went for lunch and of course took the chef's menu. Beautiful courses, beautiful flavours what a treat. We asked for wine recommendations and they where perfect for the dishes. If you are great experience go to Wiesen.

Wiesen never disappoints. I went to Yuri Wiesen’s restaurant for the first time for my 35 th birthday, as a gift from my boyfriend. From the minute we stepped in, we were taken care of by the attentive and warm servers. We had the 5 course dinner and every dish was exceptional. After this incredible experience, I took my parents to the celebrated Michelin star restaurant as a gift. My advise, go. If you’re in Eindhoven and you’re looking for top notch quality and incredible service, Wiesen is the place to go. Chef usually goes by every table to say hi! 10/10

Unfortunately, our visit to Wiesen in Eindhoven was a major disappointment. We had high expectations, but the restaurant fell short on almost all fronts. From the start, it lacked the refinement and experience that you would expect from a star restaurant. There were little to no appetizers, which is a missed opportunity to surprise and welcome guests. The food itself was nothing special and certainly not of the level we are used to from other Michelin-starred establishments. The dishes lacked creativity and finesse, and did not leave a lasting impression. We were also disappointed with the wine: there was no wine pairing and no sommelier who could guide us in the choice. A star restaurant should integrate wine into the total experience, but here it felt like an afterthought. The service was okay, but no more than that. There was a lack of enthusiasm, knowledge and real hospitality. At restaurants in this class you expect the staff to do that little bit extra to give you an unforgettable evening, but that was absolutely not the case here. All things considered, this experience was not worth repeating. Wiesen lacks the refinement, passion and hospitality you would expect from a star. Even restaurants without a Michelin star, such as Crijns or Le Sable, show how to make a culinary experience truly special. Wiesen can still learn a lot from this, both in the kitchen and in the service.

You can enjoy delicious food in this chic but accessible restaurant. Everything is very well taken care of. Staff very friendly.

I've been here to experience this once. Wiesen is or was a Michelin star restaurant. That's not clear. The food was definitely good and tasty. We had the 6 course menu. What really disappointed me was that the first wine glass I received was dirty. I got a clean glass for that. But no apologies were made. Another of my group received a broken wine glass. Very dangerous. That bet was also exchanged, but no apologies. Some seats were broken and repaired with duct tape. For the price you ultimately pay for the food, I don't think this is possible. Was this ever worth a Michelin star? I will never eat at a Michelin star restaurant again.

Are more than worth 1*, very high-quality products and very competent & friendly service. We had the 4-course lunch with wine and a nice glass of champagne as an aperitif! Recommended for those who want to enjoy culinary delights in the center of Eindhoven! ⭐

Amazing restaurant all round! This was my first Michelin star experience. It certainly did not disappoint. We both went for the 5 course meal and wine. The total cost was 285 euros for the both of us. It was blatantly clear that the kitchen as well as the service staff is highly trained. I hope I'm able to come again next year!

Amazing food, with a nice variety of protein and flavors. We got the 3-course meal during lunch and appreciated the whole experience.

What a nice restaurant in the center. The welcome is friendly. You can eat a la carte or choose from a various course surprise menu. The choice of wine is by the glass or bottle (large or small), so no package deal. Of course you will receive advice about the choice of wine. The plates are beautifully laid out, the flavors are perfect, in short, a perfect picture. You get a good explanation about what you get to eat. Definitely a restaurant to come back to.

For the first time I went out to eat at Wiesen. I've eaten things I've never eaten before, or even normally don't like. And the way food is prepared here is truly Magnificent! And the service, really great! After 2 non-alcoholic wines I felt like having something fresh (a coke), but I thought drinking from a wine glass was fun for the experience. I ordered from the waiter "I like to switch to the cola wine" And without me even asking for it, I got my coke in a wine glass... well then you completely understand.... Wiesen is a restaurant that has used the space creatively, with many tables and the feeling that you are eating out together. In short, highly recommended

Great restaurant, we had a great meal and the highlight was the tournedos rossini!

Wij eten regelmatig in sterrenrestaurants maar ik kan wel stellen dat ons diner van gisterenavond de ergste ooit was. Het was niet druk in het restaurant, er zit een ander stel voorin en wij werden helemaal achter in de zaak geplaatst. Helaas bleek het andere stel er wat andere normen en waarden op na te houden dan wijzelf, en wat wij gewend zijn in dit type restaurant. Ze vonden het blijkbaar gepast, of hadden er gewoon lak aan, om keihard filmpjes te bekijken op hun telefoon. Ook werd de dochter nog even gebeld.. op speaker.. Met ander woorden; ze gedroegen zich ronduit onbeschoft en dachten alleen aan zichzelf. Na observering bleek het te gaan om een Peter Gilles type en een vrouw waaraan, laten we het diplomatiek zeggen, overduidelijk het nodige was gesleuteld. Daarnaast waren ze ook aangeschoten. Het personeel zei helemaal niks over dit ongepaste gedrag. Toen de telefoon weer eens hard aan ging heb ik een ober hierop aangesproken. Ik gaf aan dat ik dit echt niet vond kunnen. Hij zei dat hij ze er even op aan zou spreken om vervolgens 10 minuten de keuken in te duiken. Vervolgens is dit naar mijn weten helemaal niet meer gebeurd. Ze deden het zelfs nog een keer toen de chefkok bij ze aan tafel stond nota bene. Wij voelden ons totaal niet serieus genomen. Blijkbaar vonden ze deze mensen belangrijker en hebben ze liever mensen die zich misdragen als ze maar veel betalen. Of durfde ze gewoon niet? Nog een paar punten: we konden de vaatwasser duidelijk horen aan de tafel waar wij zaten, werden na het aangeven vooral genegeerd door mannelijke ober en de gerechten waren ook niet allemaal geslaagd. Sommige vlak van smaak en een gerecht met coquilles en Ras el Hanout welke zo overheersend was dat je van de coquille niks meer proefde. Nog niet eerder in een sterrenrestaurant gezeten waarbij we eigenlijk zo snel mogelijk weer weg wilde gaan. Enige pluspunten: uitgebreid non-alcoholisch assortiment. Voor iemand als ik met een wijn allergie erg welkom. Vrouwelijke bediende vonden wij wel erg professioneel (Engelstalig). Te goed voor dit etablissement. Al met al een zware teleurstelling op onze jubileumdag en hoop dit soort volk nooit meer aan te treffen in een sterrenrestaurant. Advies: dit restaurant is zijn geld niet waard. Kies een ander restaurant uit. Sense in Den Bosch vond ik persoonlijk vele malen beter. Ook een veel mooiere stad trouwens.

Het menu rijkt van fantastische gerechten tot uit balans. Het hoofdgerecht was heel erg zout, het dessert voornamelijk zuur en de foie gras was nogal smakeloos, werd compleet overstemd door de jus. Aan de andere kant zat het langoustine gerecht fantastisch in elkaar en was de coquille met couscous en ras el hanout misschien wel de beste bereiding van coquille die ik ooit heb gegeten. De chef heeft duidelijk de capaciteit om een fantastisch gerecht neer te zetten maar dit menu komt niet goed uit de verf. Over het algemeen waren alle gerechten ook nog eens te klein en zijn wij niet volledig verzadigd huiswaarts gegaan. De service is de slechtste die ik ooit heb ervaren in een sterrenrestaurant wat enorm afdeed aan de algehele ervaring. Het restaurant heeft geen wijnarrangement, iets waar we bij reservering al van op de hoogte waren. De sommelier, die ons ook naar onze tafel heeft gewezen, was eigenlijk geen hulp toen het aankwam op wijn bestellen. Vrij achteloos dumpte hij de wijnkaart bij ons op tafel, mompelde iets over "jullie weten wel hoe het werkt, en verdween. Hij opperde weleens waar op sterk aandringen een fles, maar wist daar eigenlijk vrijwel niks over te vertellen en al helemaal niks over hoe de wijn is in samenspraak met de gerechten. De glazen werden consistent ingeschonken ver voor het uitserveren van de gerechten waardoor je glas nagenoeg leeg was of inmiddels op kamertemperatuur was gekomen. De eerste wijn die we hadden genomen (een kleine fles riesling) ging goed samen met de amuse maar was dus al op voordat de eerste gang er was. De fles die volgde was een hele mooie witte rioja maar was absoluut geen porrum met de gangen die volgden. Pas toen de wijn significant meer lucht had gehad begon de combinatie ergens op te lijken. Toen de fles bijna op was kwam pas de vraag wat we van de wijn/spijs vonden. De tokaij die werd geopperd voor bij de foie gras was een goede zet, al dan niet een hele creatieve. Dat er is gekozen om geen wijnarrangement te nemen kan ik me nog wat bij voorstellen, maar dan moet er wel duidelijk gecommuniceerd worden dat er significant meer beschikbaar is op glas dan wat er op de kaart staat. Tevens is het in afwezigheid van een arrangement wel een vereiste dat er een sommelier staat met uitgebreide kennis van de wijnkaart die graag meedenkt met de gasten. Het duurde tot bij het dessert dat er in werd gegaan op onze matige reacties bij het afhalen van de borden, wat leidde tot een gesprek van niks. De drie mensen in de bediening hebben wij ervaren als afstandelijk, kil, ongeïnteresseerd en ronduit lomp. In de zeldzame momenten dat we een gesprek met hen hebben kunnen voeren werd er frequent door ons heen gepraat. Verder werd het bestek achteloos ingedekt en lag schots en scheef, het bestek was tevens eigenlijk altijd te klein of te groot (daarnaast lelijk en kitsch), het schenken van het water (wat overigens op kamertemperatuur was) ging gepaard met een hoop geklots en natte plekken in het tafelkleed, toen we nieuw brood kregen is er niet gevraagd of wij meer boter of olie daarbij hadden gewild, de bordjes voor het brood werden ongevraagd weggehaald na de 4e gang, glazen wijn werden geschonken terwijl er nog andere gevulde glazen op tafel stonden en er leek geen enkele mogelijkheid om contact te maken met de bediening. Als kers op de taart staan er veelste veel tafels in dit kleine restaurant en is de akoestiek dramatisch waardoor de gesprekken van de tafels aan weerszijden van ons beter te volgen waren dan ons eigen gesprek. Tot slot zat er ook nog een stel recht in ons zicht elkaar aan te raken op manieren die ongepast zijn voor een restaurant van stand (elkaar over de borst wrijven, over de tafel heen uitgebreid zoenen, vingers zuigen etc). Het feit dat de eigenaresse hier niet op z'n minst wat over heeft gezegd is verbazingwekkend. Algeheel zijn wij met een erg teleurgesteld gevoel de zaak verlaten en ik zou restaurant Wiesen dan ook aan niemand aanraden.

Cold, no wine pairing and no sommelier to give good advice. We didn't know what we were going to eat and had to choose the wine ourselves, a star restaurant doesn't do that. Minimalist food, barely feeling full after 6 courses. 3 different people served plus the cook. Lamb was a really nice dish, rest was not particularly exclusive. No extra bread, use the most expensive champagne for a kir generous, in short, did not meet expectations at all. Ate there for a birthday, the birthday boy didn't even get a happy birthday.

An excellent restaurant, which uses top quality raw materials. The cuisine is predominantly French, with clear Dutch influences. The service is very attentive and professional. Furthermore, the maitre Fabiana is Italian and is competent, refined and very nice. It made my dinner even more enjoyable.

Cost-experience wise it was not perfect! We had 6-course menu. Only 2 dishes along with the dessert had nicely balanced tastes. The remaining courses were a combination of intense flavors that leaned towards being salty, for us. We chose this palce to celebrate a birthday, hoping to find a cozy and intimate atmosphere. However, we were a little disappointed as the tables for couples were placed too close to each other. This proximity allowed us to overhear the conversations of nearby customers, resulting in a constant whispering among all the couples to avoid disturbing each other. To enhance the experience, I would suggest having only two tables with seating on bench instead of three. The staff was very kind and provided us with nice explanations of the dishes. However, there are a few observations to be made regarding the service. Firstly, once the wine bottle is brought to the table, it is uncorked in front the costumers and left near the table, the same goes for water, etc. It's a must, it can't be hidden somewhere else. Secondly, it is considered good etiquette to wait for someone to finish theirs glass before refilling it, or at least, inquire if they desire a refill. In our opinion all this should not happen in a michelin star restaurant, hence this score.

Een van de betere restaurants die we dusver in Nederland mochten bezoeken. Mooi verzorgde en sprekende gerechten, en 'n goede sommelier die ons perfect aanvoelde voor een passende wijn. Alleen wat stijfjes nog qua bediening naar onze zin. Uitgebreid dineren mag gewoon ook wat schwung hebben, nietwaar! Da's misschien een van de weinige waar Nederland achterop hinkelt op haar zuiderburen net over de grens.

Onwaarschijnlijk lekker gegeten. De gerechten waren allemaal plaatjes en gastronomisch van een heel erg hoog nivo.

Lekkere gerechten, ongedwongen sfeer, bediening geduldig en hartelijk. Ik heb echt van elke gang genoten, complimenten aan chef evenals bediening!

I would personally say this is a bare minimum for a michelin star restaurant. The menu construction is strange. For a 6/7/8course meal, it included 3 fish/4 seafood based dishes in a row. The waiting time between dishes is simply too long. Wagyu beef was nice but it was very undercooked with the centre still taste cold, no taste of the fat melting sensation. Wine list and staff was friendly. Environment is nice, price is okay if not opting for the A4 beef menu. I’m

Al met al een prima zaak. Lekker gegeten maar miste een beetje de wauw in de gerechten. De kalfswang was erg zout.

Wat een fantastische avond hebben we gehad in Eindhoven. Laat ik voorop stellen: ze zijn, ook voor een 1-sterrenzaak, niet goedkoop. Maar het wordt wel waargemaakt. De sfeer in het restaurant, de professionaliteit van de bediening and last but not least: het eten is allemaal van hoog niveau. Bediening hield goed in de gaten wanneer er water/wijn bijgeschonken moest worden, de uitleg was duidelijk en de sfeer gemoedelijk. Fijn om verwend te worden op zo'n culinair niveau. Ook wanneer je geen alcohol drinkt zijn er de nodige lekkere alternatieven. Klein minpuntje: jammer dat er geen wijnarrangement wordt aangeboden. Maar al met al zeer de moeite waard en komen we graag nog eens terug.

High class restaurant with excellent service! Experienced and well trained staff. I like that the waitress who serves our table introduced her self, her name before we proceeded with the rest and helped us with the menu, since we are tourists and visiting for the first time the Eindhoven. The food was delicious, tasty and nicely decorated, the chef has put his passion to do it with sophisticated details. Bravo!!!

Excellent service. Great gastronomic experience. Reasonably priced. Attentive to the details and personal preferences. A must visit if you’re in the city and looking for fine dinning. Visited this place twice and going to book a table again!

Eten was fantastisch! Wat een verwennerij. Wij hebben erg genoten. Tip voor aankomende gasten: Oesters "Wiesen". Wauw!

Volop genieten. Plaats op het knusse terras, proosten met cava, mijn keus uit verschillende aperitieven. Amuses van de barbecue, uit zee, in een boom en ook een piepklein kopje, stuk voor stuk om je vingers bij af te likken. Bediening vlot, prettig in de omgang en hartelijk bovendien, het lunchmenu overheerlijk, oogstrelend en onovertroffen. Na vlees en vis in overvloed de kers als kers op de taart. Bedankt voor deze heerlijke ervaring!

Voor een restaurant met een Michelin ster verwacht je niet een tafelkleed met (koffie)vlekken. Gastvrouw spreekt maar een paar woorden Nederlands (ga een cursus Nederlands volgen). Eten was voortreffelijk.

Fantastisch lekker gegeten en genoten van de wijnen, een aanrader

Heerlijk gegeten in een zowel knusse als stijlvolle omgeving.

Het eten bij Wiesen is geweldig! De bediening is vriendelijk, goede service en goede uitleg van de gerechten en bijpassende wijnen. De ambiance is niet spectaculair. Zeker aan te raden als je van lekker eten houd.

Tijdens carnaval een fijne avond gehad bij Wiesen! Volle tafels en relatief kleine ruimte maar wij konden elkaar goed verstaan en de akoestiek was goed! De gastheer en gastvrouwen waren goed op elkaar ingespeeld en vulden elkaar waar nodig aan op bijvoorbeeld water inschenken. De gerechten waren mooi verdeeld qua snelheid, verrassend qua smaak e/ combinaties mede hierdoor een mooi avond vullend programma. Borden mooi opgediend echter werd alleen tegen het vrouwelijk gezelschap gezegd dat de borden heet waren - ook bij andere tafels viel dit op - alleen dit was door mijn partner niet te horen zo zacht. Enige minpuntje vonden wij het ontbreken van een wijn arrangement of soort gelijk, nu voelde de wijnen afgestemd op of de fles al open was - al was de smaak goed bij de gerechten! Daarnaast zou de wijnkaart uitgebreid kunnen worden met 1 zin over de wijn en zijn smaak of karakter. (bij Italiaanse wijnkaarten is dit bijna standaard om zo de wijn huizen uit elkaar te houden - we zijn niet allemaal kenners maar wel geïnteresseerd!)

Wat een ervaring… tot in de puntjes perfect. Hadden een tussengerecht met een erg sterke kaas, echter niet mijn smaak. De bediende kreeg dit mee en bood direct een nieuwe gang aan. Ik uiteraard bescheiden gezegd dat dit niet nodig was en de chef er niks aan kon doen dat dit niet bij mijn smaak paste, toch kreeg ik een nieuwe gang: ‘signature pancake’ van de chef! Enorm lekker! Kortom een hele mooie avond gehad!

Absoluut genieten van begin tot eind. Alles was raak, de sfeer was gezellig, de service super en het eten echt fenomenaal. Aanrader!
