Received a super nice surprise on my daughter's twelfth birthday and top service and delicious food

Very tasty meal. Friendly service.

It was very quiet, but the staff wasn't very attentive. The food was fine and plentiful.

Today I had my second lunch: an "uitsmijter" (fried eggs sandwich) and a toasted sandwich. Both dishes came with a thin slice of bread from the Albert Heijn supermarket next door. My "uitsmijter" was served on the bottom of the bread because they were all gone. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she replied disinterestedly: "I heard they're out of bread." No further response.

I couldn’t call this place anything else but as a hidden gem. It is in the centre of Best, and has a stone oven for the pizzas. They taste amazing, the people working there are really friendly and the atmosphere is just the nice finishing touch. I would for sure recommend this place.

Had a great evening! The pizza chef came to ask our youngest son if he wanted to make his own pizza. Of course he did! His older brother was allowed to help make his father's pizza. It gives the evening an extra golden edge! Delicious pizzas and other dishes are also great!

The starter, the squid rings, were prepared incorrectly and were therefore tasteless and greasy. The service did not ask at all why they could take an almost full plate back. The pizzas were reasonable. The price of the water of almost 7 euros was out of proportion. The service poured the drinks and brought the food and that is all that was said.

It was so delicious and it was super cozy! The staff is super friendly and hospitable, the food was really great, nothing to complain about. Everyone ate and drank well. We will definitely come back!! Ps: I don't understand some of the reactions, everything was great!

Cozy place with a nice atmosphere, lots of options and tasty food. My pizza was just too cooked and crispy but I guess it was coincidence because for the rest of our table their pizza’s were fine.

Here you get value for your money and the food is incredibly tasty for a very reasonable price. Very polite, attentive, non-intrusive service. Cozy atmosphere. Recommended!!

Having dinner here tonight. The food was disappointing... The pizzas lacked flavor. The lasagna seemed to have been in the oven for far too long (dry and burnt taste). When asked if everything was satisfactory, we indicated this, with the response "would you like a new one?" We didn't need this because then one person would be without food and have to wait again. No attention is paid to empty glasses. The staff reacted irritated when someone did not understand something. Unfortunately you won't see us again.

The food tastes good, but be careful not all ingredients are on the menu (it has already been reported and they are going to do something about it). Never this again. Very bad, pork raw, 4 types of vegetables without taste and raw. Ignored by staff who prefer to play with someone they know at the table. Unfortunately the old gusto is gone. Went to eat at Il Gusto today, but unfortunately they won't see us again. Food was bad, meat was undercooked, vegetables far too hard and tasteless. We came here very regularly with the previous owner. Food was fine, staff very friendly. In short, great! Unfortunately, I always had a disappointing experience after the sale. Never got what we wanted to eat. Unfortunately gone! No more pizza dough on a Friday evening at 6 p.m. Anyway, I tried again. Terrible! Pizzas were really bad. They were dry and looked very unappetizing. 4 pizzas and 1 pasta have gone back for 3/4. Indicated that it was not good. Response: we always get compliments about our pizzas. Staff not unfriendly. After a number of disappointments in the beginning about the service, I gave it another try with 5s. Service now fine, dry burratas and creepy pizzas ensure we won't go there again. Three guests left their pizzas behind. In addition, there was noise as if you were in a food shed. Advice on sound absorption is recommended. We don't come here anymore.

First drink for 20 minutes, after asking twice. Then waited 30 minutes for food and to make matters worse the calzone was burnt. We had to ask for dessert again after waiting another 20 minutes, all this while it was not busy at all. Worst experience ever eating out.

Today we had the club chicken sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich. It was very tasty and we got our drinks and food very quickly! The prices are fair and not too exaggerated. Spontaneously decided to have a pizza at Il Gusto, haven't done that in a long time. The pizza was very dry, the glass of wine was mini (not the glass, but the contents) and the service was very attentive to the other guests. They did not show themselves to us. Asked for the bill when clearing the bill, but it was not brought, so after 10 minutes my husband went to pay at the bar himself. We (60-somethings) probably didn't fit in with the young girls' entourage. Don't worry, we won't show ourselves there again.

Always had a good time, but it's a shame that as a regular visitor you now have to use smaller glasses with a glass of bold blonde. First 33 cl and now 25 cl, saving no less than 8 cl and paying the same price.

Not recommended!!! We were just sitting at the table, without having seen the menu or drinks menu, we were immediately asked if we wanted something to drink. That was really unpleasant. The food was ready quickly because there were few guests. But unfortunately that was the only thing. The pizza was even worse than at domino's. Pasta was a disaster. A pinsa was a piece of dry dough with some toppings. It's supposedly an Italian restaurant where nothing is Italian at all.

I am living in Best for about 10 years and had never been to this place, and I was there on last evening, odered a menue that include beafsteak, I ordered meadium cocked and they gave me rare, I had already choped the beafsteak in to peaces and took a bite, when I realized complained to the service, They took my plate and apologize me, after few minutes they brought me the same messed up plate with the same chopped meat, just had been cooked a bit. Will not go there for next ten years..

Staff looked dirty. Dirty pants and stained jacket. Deserves some attention. If you have an open kitchen, people are paying attention to you. Do not put your fingers in food and then lick it off and then put it back in the food. Very sorry.

I recently ate at Restaurant Il Gusto a few times and I can only say that I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a new owner, who together with her team has given the restaurant a complete makeover. The interior is attractive and modern, the menu is varied and original, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I've been to lunch and dinner, with and without small children, and every time it was a party. The dishes are fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I tried several dishes, from pasta to pizza, from salad to soup, and they were all delicious. But my favorite was the bistecca di tonno, a tender tuna steak served with fresh vegetables. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a nice piece of fish. But the delicious beef tenderloin is also worth ordering! The hostess and her team guarantee a wonderful evening of food and drinks. They are friendly, attentive and professional. They ensure that you feel at home and that you lack nothing. They also have a children's menu and a play area for the little ones, so you can enjoy a relaxing evening out with your family. Il Gusto is one of the best restaurants in the region, and I highly recommend it to everyone. We hebben ontzettend genoten van het menu! Het begon al met de heerlijke broodplank met verse dippers. Zoveel verschillende heerlijke voorgerechtjes en als hoofdgerecht een supermalse tournedos. De plank met vele nagerechten was een mooie afsluiter. Wat zijn we verwend! En dat voor zo’n lage prijs! We komen zeker snel terug!!!

Mooie uitstraling en vriendelijk personeel, we waren erg goed verzorgd en niks was te veel gevraagd, heerlijk flesje rode wijn gedronken “ Venta Del Puerto NO 12” echt een aanrader, en heerlijk gegeten. Wij komen zeker terug.

Il Gusto was net weer open na een verbouwing. Niet alles op de kaart was op voorraad helaas. De salade caprese zat niet veel smaak aan. Ik heb hier voorheen wel eens beter gegeten

Vriendelijk personeel. Het was wel hectisch vanwege de heropening en grote drukte. Hoofdgerecht zalm was prima maar de bijbehorende frietjes werden veel te laat gebracht. De pizza was een teleurstelling; klein met weinig topping en bodem kan ook beter (te nat deeg?)

Vandaag bij de heropening geweest. Echt een fantastische ervaring! Mega mooie inrichting, lekker eten, goede aardige bediening en al met al een gezellige sfeer. Prijs-kwaliteit is top.

Helaas 2 weken geleden van eigenaar gewisseld, nieuwe is nog niet in bedrijf

We hadden 2 heerlijke pizza calzones met een kleine salade erbij. Super lekker gegeten en meer dan genoeg ! Ook de tapenade vooraf en stokbrood met aioli waren erg lekker ! Tis jammer dat we zover weg wonen anders komen we zeker vaker langs!

Heerlijk eten voor een redelijke prijs. Vooral het driegangenmenu is een aanrader. Heel attente en vriendelijke bediening. Enige nadeel: de tafeltjes staan te dicht op elkaar, waardoor het lawaaiig is als het vol is (en dat is meestal zo op vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag).

Het eten is goed maar ze hadden 2 deuren open staan niet prettig iets van gezegt maar niets aan gedaan jammer

Alles klopt. Ruime keuze in menu's. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding dikke prima en heel vriendelijke bediening. Niet geheel onbelangrijk, het eten zelf was ook heerlijk.

We hadden een bruin pistoletje met brie geroosterd. Zag er een beetje karig uit. Was wel lekker hoor. Vriendelijk personeel.
