Great food and drinks, definitely try the spare ribs.

The schnitzel I ordered was fried, the mushroom sauce tasted chemical and it was a shame that the fries had to be ordered separately and what was also a shame was that my table was not clean but was not cleaned either.

We've been here before, but this time it wasn't good. We waited 45 minutes for a hamburger, even though we were the only ones sitting on the terrace, and the people around us who came later did get their food. The glasses were broken, and two hamburgers with one small mayonnaise was a real shame. When you report this and nothing is done about it, that's unfortunately the deciding factor for not going back.

Went for drinks with a friend and it was a nice place. Good service.

Had a great party on Saturday with 30 people including buffet. Delicious and very diverse. Friendly service and very attentive. Beautiful room, not too big but very cozy. Everything was possible. We will definitely come back!

Uncozy grand café. Staff friendly. The place does not radiate anything and is in a nondescript location. There are several companies in the building and part of it is vacant. Sufficient menu selection. Quality also more than adequate. More like a meeting center. Toilets are clear, but there is a musty, pungent smell as if the rooms have been closed for too long.

Food was mediocre (price/quality), starter better than main course. Service could have been a little faster, but the atmosphere was fine.

Nice, but quite simple restaurant. The three of us ate spareribs here. You don't have much choice, whether spicy or not spicy. But, excellent quality. A large cone with fries and some salad. It's nothing special, but it is tasty and reasonably affordable. I'll probably come here again.

Had a party for over 70 people last weekend and had a great evening! The service was friendly and smooth, the drinks and snacks were excellent and everything went exactly as agreed. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to throw and experience a fantastic party.

Nice place with very good atmosphere

Dinner with two people. Pleasantly warm, beautiful ambiance, atmospheric light, stylish industrial design. You often see the latter in restaurants, but at Grand Café de Bank they have really thought carefully about the acoustics: they are perfectly fine here, including sound-absorbing plates on the ceiling and a wooden floor. This means no noise pollution from noisy restaurant sounds, but dining in an oasis of peace, wonderful! Extensive menu with beautiful and delicious dishes for a reasonable price. Presentation also deserves praise: plates beautifully laid out, crystal clear wine glasses as it should be. Friendly service. In short: pleasantly surprised and delicious food. You'll want to come here more often!

GRAND CAFÉ DE BANK Very tasty meal. Started with shrimp croquettes, which were very tasty and had spare ribs as a main course, unfortunately they were not very tender but still good to eat.

Enjoyed a delicious meal on the spacious terrace. Just a pity that there was no packaging material to take the food with. (Food was quite a lot and wanted to take the rest with us)

Had made a reservation, called specifically for OUTSIDE upon arrival. Suddenly NOT possible. We never do. Instruct staff better. If you still get a call, we never do the same story. I say never again. And ends the conversation. You will be called back and told that I am antisocial.

We went there for dinner with the family for my husband's birthday. Everyone was there for the 1st time and they all said we are going back again and apart from the two of us, no one lived in Best

Friendly service, plenty of choice on the menu and delicious food! I had seen a dish online that was no longer on the menu, but after consultation with the kitchen it could still be made.

Had drinks there before, but suddenly there was no more drinks menu. Then just ask what's going on. There were options. Finally ordered bitterballen and cheese board. Bitterballen not warm inside and I specifically asked for NO blue-veined cheese with the cheeses, but unfortunately it was still there. Then the payment, he said 94 euros. I said that could never be right, then it was 44 euros. Didn't have a receipt or anything. All in all a lesser experience, while this was not the case before. Pity.

Very nice café/lunchroom near the Library. Decor very attractive. Friendly staff, good prices. The menu is not extremely extensive, but you can get the usual things such as eggs, toasted sandwiches, croquette sandwiches, and warm brie bread. And the coffee is nicely 'dressed up', with chocolate and a non-alcoholic 'nut'.

I had called in advance to see if it was possible to have a gluten-free dinner and the lady on the phone said that was certainly possible. When I was there in the evening I asked about the gluten-free options, but that had to be checked in the kitchen. Ultimately, there were some options, but it was not very clear what was and what was not. I went for the pan of garlic shrimp. They were very tasty, but unfortunately the fries were not gluten-free and nothing else was offered (rice, fried potatoes), so my dinner consisted of shrimp and a few leaves of lettuce. I thought that was a bit disappointing (although the shrimp tasted very good). My friend had the spare ribs and he was very satisfied with them! The wait staff was very friendly and they really did their best to help me as best as possible! The waitress also said that an allergen card will be coming soon. In that case I would go back again, but for now I found medium. (I think it is recommended if you do not have allergies, because it is a great card for a good price.)

Delicious coffee and interior atmosphere

Visited grand cafe De Bank for a dinner reservation with 3 persons. First off, food. The menu is impressive and inviting, a lot of familiar favorites can be found. For starters, the Shrimp cocktail was served in a fashionable way and very tasty. Slightly small compared to the bowl of soup someone else at the table got but qualitatively good. Then the main course, personally I loved the spare ribs as a main course, prepared perfectly and with a good sauce. The menu is bound in a professional way. The desert menu is slightly less varied but still quite a few good options. Besides the regular menu they where offering two extra desert options, one if them was an apple pie with was quite good. Then the service. The staff is very friendly and well mannered. The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that our deserts were not served at the same time, two came together and the third came quite a lot later (after having asked the server if it's still coming). The atmosphere is good however the old bank building is not built with acoustics in mind, the brick and concrete walls and open ceiling make the place quite noisy when it is busy. We had only one of the three tables nearby occupied and it already felt a bit loud. In my opinion the place could really benefit from some heavy curtains or noise dampening insulation in the ceiling. Overall we had a good time with great food and I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Top feest gehad van onze verjaardagen 60 en 55 lekkere hapjes tussendoor. Top bediening kwamen snel rond met drinken zeker een aanrader voor iedereen die een gezellig feestje wil leuk zaakje. Complimenten aan Brain en zijn personeel.❤️ Fam Teunissen.

Lekker gegeten met erg fijne bediening. Een goede gevarieerde lekker eenvoudige kaart met voor iedereen wat wils. Simpel en goed. Wat mij betreft een aanrader.

Beste prijs/kwaliteit verhouding in Best. Inrichting geïntegreerd met voormalig bankgebouw en connectie met bibliotheek. Tafels netjes op afstand van elkaar. Kaart is goed qua keuze en heeft dat wat je verwacht in een grandcafé. Schnitzel, saté spareribs allen aanwezig. Gerechten allemaal vers. Porties zijn precies ok. Dame Blanche te groot. Bediening is op tijd, wat onervaren misschien maar t is een grandcafé, dan mag dat. Eigenaar begroet iedereen en controleert tevredenheid. Prijzen hoofdgerechten zijn zeer goed.

Vandaag een super goed verzorgde high tea voor 13 personen gehad. Meer dan voldoende luxe belegde broodjes, cakejes en andere lekkere zoetigheid. Zeer attent personeel en een meedenkende eigenaar. Adviseer iedereen hier een keertje lekker te gaan lunchen of een high tea te houden!

Heerlijk bij Brian op het terras gezeten vanmiddag. De 'burger van de Bank en Penne met truffel en oesterzwammen' waren écht heel lekker! Veel keuze uit biertjes, vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader 👍🏻

Die heerlijkste hamburger van de Bank is echt een aanrader lekker stuk vlees goed gekruid met schilfrieten en de spareribs om je vingers af te likken.

Vandaag spareribs besteld en afgehaald. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar qua service en qua eten. Topper!

We hebben er voor het eerst wat besteld. Een Holland burger... zag er zeer goed uit en een mooie grote burger en een zeer goede smaak. En we hadden spareribs ik wou de zoete ribs. En op hun adviesadviseerde ze de Thaise ribs. Ik ben blij dat ik overstag ben gegaan wat was dat lekker. Ik zeg.... een vaste klant er bij. Top

Door Corona sluiting omgeschakeld naar afhaalservice Het is super geregeld en eten was superrrrr Vers, warm, en veel Ik vroeg nog stokbrood met kruidenboter en ze keken me raar aan maar door de hoeveelheid snap ik waarom 🤣 Hoop wel weer snel daar te kunnen eten mis de sfeer en gezelligheid.
