Drinks menu and drinks really great, unfortunately I find BBQ sauce on nachos really gross. My mistake because I didn't read properly but tomato salsa old skool is 1000x better

Had lunch here for the first time today. Unfortunately, a long hair in the food with the first bite, apologies are made but nothing is done to accommodate. We will not come back here, this was unfortunately not a pleasant/tasty lunch. Food/soup was not really warm, and the lettuce was limp/wet. Service chats for a long time at tables, which means other customers have to wait a long time/cannot indicate anything.

I went for a coffee and apple pie, really tasty! Plus point: the toilet is much comfortable when you have a baby.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. Beautifully arranged plates. Friendly employees. And real whipped cream for dessert. A rarity nowadays.

Had lunch here this afternoon! The waitress in the service was friendly but "slow" we had to wait quite a long time (read = 50 minutes for a sandwich), after waiting half an hour she told the other guests that it was at least 45 minutes waiting time (we did not know that unfortunately) there were at least 10 tables gone when the waitress said that, she told us that there were 2 new people in the kitchen (sorry but IN lunch on Saturday with the sun / terrace - really not possible) The food was fine, but the description on the menu was different from what was served, luckily we liked it a lot) Shame! We don't go there anymore, and we heard this around us too🤨

The food was not hot even the second time, we had to wait a long time between dishes. There was quite a bit of complaining.

Nice lunch, nice friendly service

Yesterday for the 3rd time in a row, there was again a lot that was not available on the menu, it was only 7.15 pm. This really isn't possible. It's better for them to say what is there, so they can finish sooner. Furthermore, the meat was really not tender. I recently got a bavette from the butcher, it was 10x better. No more for us for the time being.

The restaurant had a reasonable atmosphere, but the food was cold and took 1 hour to arrive, so we had finished talking in the meantime.

The food served here is really worth it. This, together with the delicious wine and a good atmosphere, makes it a pleasure every time. And in the evening in the hall it is nice to have a drink with friends!

Always a lot of hassle if you want something adjusted to a dish. When you are pregnant there is very little choice and the evening meal was not tasty either. I am not happy with the service at all. Last time for us.

Had a lovely lunch here on the terrace

Recently had a drink here after work and had a 3 course menu. It was the first time, I didn't know this case. 3 stars could have been 5 if the service had been friendlier and the lunch had not been so lousy. The young lady during my first visit apparently wasn't having her day... That can happen to anyone, but your guests don't have to be inconvenienced by it... An hour later, after the start of her shift, she "thawed" a bit. Still went back a second time, this time for lunch. That was a one-off. If you only get 2 shrimps with a salad that contains shrimps, among other things, and the rest is meager, except for the price, then you are completely missing the point... The 3 course menu of the first visit, which was excellent. But all in all, it means that I will no longer cross the threshold here.

A cup of coffee from The Hague in (Burgundian) Best. Nice terrace and we often have a nice meal there, but it was a disappointment that even after complaining it didn't get any better... and it didn't get any better today (Pentecost). Next time I'll bring coffee...

Delicious food, good service and atmosphere

Nice place to eat and/or drink on the terrace. Service is friendly, somewhat slow. 6:15 PM at the table and ready at 9:30 PM with the 3-course menu. Wide choice for food and drinks.

Celebrating a birthday with a snack and a drink is great here. Own space that you can rent.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Food prices are good. Tasty choices and ample portions. The starters also look good and are generous in size. There is a spacious terrace at the front. In the back room there is a long table where you can sit with a larger group. There is a parking lot within walking distance, behind the church. Definitely recommended

We had a delicious meal. The food was delivered quickly, a big plus! In the past, service was slower. So we are happy with this change.

Served by a super attentive, nice young lady. She even came to ask twice if everything was okay. We ordered a baguette carpaccio, special sandwich and a pulled mushroom sandwich. They were good portions and tasty, but I didn't understand the pulled mushroom, a big name for a few mushroom slices. I asked the waitress and normally you get a vague answer from young people serving or you see that they actually don't want to hear it at all, but not this young lady. She listened to my question, indicated that she didn't know and said she wanted to hear the answer herself. She left and returned a moment later with the answer. A young lady with service in her blood. I hope this case is kind to her. The answer was clear, in my sandwich the mushrooms would be between the 2 slices of bread and in the sandwich special they would be on top. Sorry, maybe this should normally be the case, but not in my case. Found a few mushrooms that were gone in one bite. Maybe next time? We had a nice lunch and we will definitely come back again.

Nice place to have something to eat. At the back of the place there is more of a pub, with a large bar and many beers on tap. There are lower tables in front. Tasty menu, with an excellent price-quality ratio. I've been here several times, it's actually always just good. Nice beer too.

Very good value for money, friendly staff, nice atmosphere

In a restaurant, an order is made for three dishes at once. The food is prepared deliciously and beautifully presented on plates or boards. It's a bit of a pity that you couldn't order just one dish, because... I almost burst from gluttony :) You have to come there on an empty stomach.

Veel mayonaise bij het voorgerecht zalm tartaar waardoor de smaak van de zalm helemaal wegvalt, toetje tiramisu is veel te droog..... Wel een goede sfeer en het eten is niet duur maar dat wordt gecompenseerd door de drankjes. Gemiddeld €45,- per persoon terwijl het menuutje maar €24,50 was......

Goed eten. Moet wel lang wachten voordat je geholpen wordt. Te weinig personeel? Vorige keer kaart gekregen en bestek erbij. Zijn niet meer komen vragen wat we wilden eten. Dus, alleen wat gedronken en ergens anders gaan eten.

Bediening was wisselend. Soms wat kortaf, maar dan toch ook weer attent. Voor het eten zou ik niet teruggaan. Ik vermoed dat de schnitzel, sauzen en smeersels uit een kant-en-klare verpakking komen. Geen liefde.

Gezellige zaak om te lunchen/dineren of lekker te borrelen. Ook als je iets te vieren hebt kun je hier gezellig zitten. Leuke 3 gangen menu met voldoende keuze zodat iedereen lekker kan eten. De ruime keuze aan speciaal bieren is ook iets waar ik zeker van hou (21 op tap en veel meer op de fles). Wij hebben zelf de tafel versierd om het nog feestelijker te maken 🥳 Was een geslaagde avond en komen zeker het volgende feestje ook hier vieren

Met een groep geweest en zeker een aanrader. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding zeer goed. Ruime keuze voor een groep (met uiteraard verschillende wensen) snelle bediening. Hoeveelheden zijn aan de kleine kant maar dit is geen min punt. Drank keuze (voornamelijk biersoorten) is groot. 3 gangen menu. Veel gedronken, (zie het bonnetje) €44 per persoon,

Lekker gegeten, goede bediening

Lekker gegeten voor een schappelijke prijs! Ik kom graag nog een keer terug. Menu is niet heel groot maar als nog genoeg te kiezen.

Eten was goed maar helaas niet uitstekend.. Te weinig saus voor het vlees mag wel wat meer zijn en ook graag alles tegelijk op tafel.. Zaterdagavond druk maar toch dat zijn de kleinere dingen waar mensen opletten.. Toch 5 sterren omdat het vlees precies zo was gebakken waar ik om vroeg.. Bediening prima liep uit de naad.. Alles 5 sterren maar met een maaaaarrrrr... -:)

Wat een leuk gemoedelijk Grand Café is FF. (Effe) de kwaliteit van de toetjes was uitstekend en de prijs en grote ervan waren prima in verhouding. De echte verrassing kwam aan het eind van een ontspannen avond. Na koffie, diverse speciaal bieren, cola en 0,0 bier te hebben ontvangen was de rekening zeer schappelijk. Dat heb ik in de fooi beloond want het was zeer uitstekend qua service en ambiance.

Een gezellig Grand Café waar het goed toeven is. Vriendelijke bediening en in het centrum tussen de diverse winkels.

Erg fijne plek, een warm welkom. Uitgebreide kaart, die bij ons gezelschap erg in de smaak viel. De prijzen zijn schappelijk. Wij komen zeker terug!

Niet zo best..Mooie zaak. Leuke gerechten op kaart echter een salade wisselen( ik wilde coleslaw bij de spareribs, staat op de kaart bij een 3 gangen menuutje. Bij hoge uitzondering kon dit gewisseld worden..)kon eigenlijk niet. Portie spareribs niet meer dan 300 gram, ver onder de maat aangezien je wel de hoofdprijs betaald. Om een knoflook sausje gevraagd. Is er niet. Er staan wel sausjes op de kaart maar horen niet bij spareribs en moeten ook apart betaald worden. Kortom: spareribs veel te weinig( waren wel lekker ) coleslaw uiteindelijk gekregen, veel te weinig dressing( dit maakt het namelijk lekker) en je zit dus wat rauwkost te eten met weinig smaak en liefde. Ik heb geklaagd hij de zeer jonge medewerker. Ze deed er pas iets mee toen ik het nogmaals aangaf bij het afrekenen. Ze gaf aan het doorgeven te hebben. Er werd dus niets mee gedaan. Al met al: FF niet best in Best!!

Vandaag weer geweest. Opnieuw goed maar porties lijken kleiner geworden bij gelijk gebleven prijs. En zeker 6 bieren van de tap die op waren. Vandaag hebben ze geen 4 sterren verdiend. Gezellige sfeer, flinke bierkaart alhoewel er toch een aantal bieren van de kaart toch niet op voorraad bleken te zijn. Daardoor hadden ze niet 21 bieren van de tap zoals op de website staat. Ruime keuze van gerechten binnen het concept van 3 menu's. En het smaakte prima.
