Mediocre tent. There was no greeting upon entering. And the service wasn't friendly either. I'm not surprised that this ball joint is closing.

Food was fine, customer service could be better.

We waited more than an hour and fifteen minutes for our starter, but it turned out that they had forgotten us... in the end it took another half hour for our starter... drinks were also empty for a long time and my partner walked to the bar to get a drink, but there too things went wrong and we got different drinks than we had ordered. Food is also good. Nice price via social deal, but service is terrible and we will not come back.

Burger was fine, but not special. I think it was yesterday's sandwich and I personally thought it had too much cheddar on it (but maybe that's how it was supposed to be, it was a bacon and cheese burger). Staff was very busy, due to a shortage of staff. We also had to turn people away because they couldn't handle the crowds. But nevertheless very friendly, I came to the table 3 times to apologize for the long waiting time, so I didn't say anything about the burger, it can happen... The other dish (Have it all - Classic) was surprisingly tasty! 3 nice large slices of bread, with croquette, tuna salad and carpaccio...

You can wait a very long time before you weigh an ounce. They ignore you so you don't get anything for a long time. If you go for a drink with a friend on a Saturday evening, the staff will be very drunk, knocking things over, dancing, shouting, you name it. It's not normal to behave like that during working hours. I'll never come here again. Shameless

We had lunch here last week. We got very small sandwiches (which you normally see at work in the restaurant). It really wasn't enough to be 'just full', so to speak. It sure was tasty! But when we said something about it, the answer was 'this is how we do it.' I have been working in the catering industry for a long time and know that you can solve something like this so much better! Even if you put down a few slices of bread... do something! Furthermore, a nice place to sit and the service and kitchen were fast!

I had called and been before and was told that all chicken was halal. Now I was with my husband and he asked again, first of all 2 staff members did not know. That in itself is strange. Then was told that all fried chicken is halal. But to be sure, we asked the kitchen again and we were told that the fried chicken is halal. Sounds logical, then there is probably a separate chip shop just for halal chicken. But it turns out that's not the case, it's just fried in the same fat as everything else. Then it is not halal and we had to leave again. It's a shame that we weren't told this the first time (the staff also appears not to be well informed). It is a bad thing. Suppose it is an allergy, will they deal with it so easily? So don't come there anymore. And people who eat halal, then you know this. And a tip for Robuust, just stop halal, then we know where we stand, but this is misleading.

Had dinner there with my sister tonight. That was good and tasty and!!! Friendly, hospitable service. Reasonable price and the donut dessert was so delicious. Highly recommended!!!

Ended up via social deal. Cozy interior and alert staff. For 23 euros per person we had a three course menu which was more than sufficient. Plenty of choice, especially loved the tomato cappuccino. Excellent burgers with tasty bun and crispy fries. Small disadvantage was that the burger was not completely warm. Dessert was also delicious and more than enough, nice coffee too. Fine if you don't expect a culinary tour de force.

After reading many negative reviews about Robuust Nieuwegein, I was a bit afraid to go. This turned out to be unnecessary, because we had made a reservation, so our table was ready, we didn't have to wait long for our food, we were often asked if we wanted something to drink and the portions were more than enough. My friend and I are big eaters, but we had difficulty finishing the main course. The food was perfect. There was a lot of choice and the service was absolutely great. Highly recommended!

Nice meal! Food arrived quickly. Good service. We were asked plenty of times if it was tasty and if we wanted something to drink. Large burgers (couldn't even finish half of them). Restaurant is beautiful, you can look into the kitchen. It might be nice if you had a little more variety on the burgers. Almost all of them had bbq sauce and onion rings which I am not a fan of.

The food was delicious, but the hygiene was poor in the restaurant itself. And a new round of drinks was difficult to get, asked for a drink and she had to bring some food away and would take the order. After more than half an hour they came to collect the empty plates and asked if we wanted something to drink. But that took us too long and we didn't order anything and left. The service staff regularly chatted together. But the kitchen gets a compliment, the food was tasty.

On the way to a concert in Amsterdam we stopped here to eat and what a good choice it was! Super friendly staff and food to die for. We had the burger and spare ribs as a main course and we had not eaten both so well in a long time! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back. Keep it up!

We ordered an appetizer, but were told that we had run out of onion rings. That was solved with something replacement. After dinner we ordered a cocktail, we were told that the cocktail glasses were also empty. I think there were still 20 people in the restaurant, of which about 3 people were drinking a cocktail... how can your glasses be empty. The tables next to us were pushed together because a group of (known to the) staff was sitting there. We were left with a "hole" around us and dirt on the ground. Not very pleasant. If any of the staff wants to have a drink with friends, sit at the bar or something. Or take the guests into account and leave the atmosphere intact by leaving the furniture. The bill was delivered to the table half an hour before closing time. Apparently we had to leave. The food was fine and delicious. The portions were big enough in my opinion. The atmosphere and hospitality could be much better. I feel like I've eaten in a fast food restaurant. So it's great to have something to eat during/or after shopping. But if you want to go out for dinner with friends, I would choose something else.

It was quite disappointing. It started with the fact that we arrived 5 minutes before the start of the reservation and there was no room. We only had to wait a while, even though we had already made a reservation months ago. We then chose our dish and it took over an hour before it was brought. After the main course our table was quickly cleared, half an hour later we asked about dessert ourselves. The dessert of our choice (rocky road) was finished. Finally, we opted for another desert, which again took so long that we asked for it ourselves. The ice cream was also gone... We had the dessert removed from the receipt and left. Certainly not worth repeating.

Great place but even more great is the great service. It’s an full seated place and they are running everything only by two persons, Laura and here colleague are so nice even with pressure of all people asking them constantly for attention you are still getting personen attention. Heerlijk eten, leuke en wisselende menukaart. Attent personeel en leuke inrichting. Was een gezellige avond en we komen zeker terug! Tip; iets meer aandacht voor sanitair. En de koude lucht door de deur, naar als je binnen 10m van de ingang zit.

Duurde even voordat we de menu kaart hadden vanwege kletsende personeel. Ook heel gezellig snap ik maar echt honger. Eten was zoals altijd top!

Met mijn gezin hier gezellig geluncht. Absolute aanrader; gezellig en goed eten! Had de fokking hot burger zonder friet en met een affligem tripel, echt fantastisch! Als je in de buurt bent, je hebt effe wat tijd om te killen en je hebt een stevige trek, dan moet je vooral hier zijn.

Fijn dat er ook aan de kleine eter werd gedacht. Wel jammer maar 1 gerecht,misschien in de toekomst ook de spareribs

Service kan klant gerichter. Lekker eten voor niet teveel geld, er is een budget menu of gewoon menu.

Enige lichtpuntje in een aftandse wijk. Centrum van Nieuwegein in de nacht is zeker niet aan te raden. Het is meer een soort slager dan food corner, maar personeel was erg aardig en heeft het eten nog even voor ons opgewarmd.

Vrijdag broodje gekocht. Liet hem voor de toonbank al uit mijn handen vallen. Mijn eigen schuld, maar krijg gelijk een nieuw broodje gratis Klasse!!!! Broodje was trouwens heerlijk

Hebben redelijk goed gekruide kip en gerechten. Broodjes voor lunch zijn lekker. Echter heb ik 1 keer buikpijn gehad na het eten van een broodje. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam

Door de uitnodigende vitrine me laten verleiden om wat gekruide kipstukjes mee te nemen. Waren overheerlijk. met moeite kon ik de verleiding weerstaan om nog andere dingen mee te nemen. heel mooi assortiment ook voor maaltijden, ziet er allemaal zeer smakelijk uit

Roosters is geen restaurant, maar je kunt hier prima gerechten voor lunch, avondeten en snacken kopen. Met enige regelmaat kopen wij diverse kip gerechten. Favorieten zijn de roti-rollen, de goed gevulde loempia's en de broodjes met warme kippenworst, maar ook de maaltijden zijn goed.
