First time eating at Bregje. The food isn't groundbreaking, but it is simply tasty. We were particularly struck by the price; we haven't seen a 3-course menu for less than 20 euros before. The staff was very friendly. The only minor downside was that the satay sauce was cold. When we mentioned this to the bartender, he resolved it properly and we immediately received hot sauce. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at Bregje.

Allergen chart is incorrect. Prevented hospital admission through my own knowledge. Cook doesn't know the ingredients. Just winging it. Unbelievably arrogant manager. "If you don't trust it, don't come" a real disgrace.

We reserved for 5 people tonight. After the allergen list turned out to be incorrect during our previous visit, we were extra careful about this tonight and asked questions about it regularly. Once again, the allergen list was incorrect, and a dish containing egg was served to someone with a deadly egg allergy. Despite our doubts, we went back to the kitchen to ask. No, according to the cook, there really wasn't any egg in it. Upon insisting again, it turned out there *was* egg in it after all. Both the sauce and the potatoes! Instead of self-reflection and responsibility, the "19-year-old manager?" came to our table to blame us. * you didn't indicate it when making the reservation either * If you know there is egg in it, don't eat it * If you don't trust us, don't come * I don't make the allergen list, head office does, file a complaint * yeah yeah, I've heard it all already * I don't give a damn. * you guys only talk to me. I decide here Instead of getting their shit sorted out, we are asked not to come back because it has gone wrong for the 2nd time now. We have never been treated so discriminatorily! If I have special requests, I would run right past this place.

The allergen list was incorrect. After pointing this out, instead of an apology, we received an angry manager which escalated into an argument. Very, very unprofessional.

We had made a reservation in advance (4 people) for 7:15 PM. In the end, we left the restaurant at 9:45 PM after our three-course meal. We had to wait a very long time between courses, and we were only asked once what we wanted to drink (upon arrival). I won't be returning here anytime soon.

The food was just what you expect from a three-course menu for €20, just a tasty quick bite. However, you couldn't really enjoy it because you have to wait an enormously long time for your food. We often had to wait longer than 20 minutes for the food, then 20 minutes after we finished until our plates were cleared, and then another 20 minutes before we got the next round. And we were only asked what we wanted to drink at the beginning, and 0 times in the rest of the 2 hours; we were told we just had to ask ourselves. But none of the staff paid attention to the customers, even though it was supposed to be so quiet. We finally got our main course after an hour and a half and were only finished after 2.5 hours. When we paid, the staff didn't even look at us, only at their phones and no "have a nice evening" or anything like that. Unfortunately, a bad experience..

This was the first and last time for me at Bregje Nieuwegein. When we wanted to order something, the wait staff looked right past us; after waving six times, someone finally came over. The carpaccio was supposed to be with pesto, but without consulting us, it had truffle mayo on it. There were tough pieces in the pork tenderloin. The chicken satay didn't look like chicken. Despite the lower prices, you should be able to expect good service and tasty food. We went elsewhere for dessert.

Very diverse menu, everything was really delicious, especially the grilled chicken tacos are highly recommended. Furthermore, the staff is professional and friendly. A very beautifully decorated restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. This was the second time we have eaten here, and compared to half a year ago, I think the quality of the restaurant has improved as well. Hats off. Thank you to our waitress Robin :)

Great place to eat at Cityplaza in Nieuwegein Fixed 3-course menu with plenty of choices. The portions are just right. A reasonable variety of beers available. The service is amazing.

Very disappointing experience at Bregje. We had to wait an incredibly long time for our food. Additionally, hardly any attention was paid to the table: we were not asked if we wanted anything to drink, and we constantly had to approach someone ourselves to order something. We also found the attitude of one of the staff members downright unprofessional and strange. Hospitality was nowhere to be found. The most worrying thing was that, after we had returned with a group of 8, 3 people vomited. We cannot say with certainty what the cause was, but it did not leave us with a good feeling about our visit. All in all, a very bad experience and no reason for us to return.

Normally fine, but this time I pointed out that a dish was simply cold and the response was just “ow”… very odd. I also left the rest of the dish untouched, but I did pay. It is also very understandable that it is summer and people are wearing shorts, but I don't need to see a bare part of someone's backside. It looks pretty rude.

We went out for dinner here yesterday. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. She arranged water for the flowers we had with us. The food was fine, but the pace at which everything was served was too fast. We had barely finished the starter and the main course was already there. For a Monday evening, it was busy, but not bothersome. My chair was facing a wall, meaning almost no one could get past, though they certainly had to. I thought that was a shame. The food was tasty, as I have come to expect from Bregje in general, but my girlfriend actually wanted a two-course menu. However, upon arrival, we were told that they would take our dessert order immediately. They refused to mention it afterwards. The service was friendly, not overbearing, which was very nice!

We arrived at a quarter past 8, closing time 10 pm, so you would expect to be able to get a table, but no, it was so quiet that they only closed the kitchen at 8 pm. There were several guests, so it wasn't empty, so no more bregje for us.

Because it was Valentine's Day and we had a large group, we had to submit our menu choices in advance. Unfortunately, a lot went wrong, for example, the children's menus were forgotten in the kitchen, so the children didn't receive their main meals for about 30 minutes, my sister-in-law had to wait for her food for about 20 minutes, and so on. We were offered compensation in the form of free coffee and tea. This was kind, but it was clear that the kitchen and staff weren't prepared for such a large group. The food was reasonable, portions a bit small, but that's typical of Bregje. Some dishes arrived lukewarm, and the pork tenderloin could have been cooked better. Fortunately, the staff came by regularly to take drink orders.

We ate at Proeflokaal Bregje in Nieuwegein for the first time, and what a wonderful surprise! Delicious dishes, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. We already have a firm favorite in Beinsdorp, but this location can definitely join them. Definitely worth a return visit!

I loved the food here it's amazing, service was 9/10 and good communication. The atomspehere is unbeatable but it might feel packet at times, did not bother me tho. Went here with a group of 10 and had a very good time!

I went here to celebrate my brother's birthday. There were eight of us—six adults and two children. The food was delicious, and there was a variety of dishes for everyone, from fish to delicious meat. The tasting menu for two is highly recommended—it's really fun!

We had dinner here last minute on Sunday evening. The host was friendly and the staff seemed young but experienced. We asked if we could change anything about the tasting menu, as my partner doesn't eat beef. This was no problem. Everything was served quickly, hot, and delicious. As always, we enjoyed the concept!

The concept was explained, orders were placed, and then the food arrived. An ice-cold carpaccio, when I pointed it out, looked like it had come straight from the freezer. The very young waitress looked away slightly when I asked if it had tasted good, but didn't say anything. The main course arrived; the pasta was missing burrata. We pointed this out, and the plate went back, only to be returned without it. Upon our second request, it was returned again, and finally, the burrata arrived. Dessert, apple pie, arrived completely sagging, with the whipped cream on a warm plate having runny. In short, the experience wasn't such that we're not considering a return visit anytime soon, even though we're quite pleased with Bregje in Nieuwkoop.

The waiter at the bar, when I was paying, wasn't friendly, even though I tipped. He showed no interest and didn't thank me for the tip. It's a shame, the rest was nice and friendly.

We had dinner at bregje Nieuwegein on Wednesday. Upon entering, we were greeted kindly by a young woman and shown to a table. After only a minute's wait, someone brought the menu and explained it nicely. After ordering a drink, a very enthusiastic bartender brought it to us before we even had a chance to look at the menu, and he chatted with us in a friendly manner. The food was delicious; the tenderloin was a bit tough, but when we pointed this out, they immediately apologized and gave us free coffee. This coffee was brought by the bartender, who had also had a pleasant chat with us. This restaurant is definitely recommended for its hospitality and the delicious, affordable food. Special compliments to the bartender.

We had a pleasant time here. The service wasn't great. For example, a bottle of rosé was placed ostentatiously on the table, without a bottle cooler. I ate here at Bregje Ngein's for the first time tonight, and I'll definitely be back. First, the appetizer: 1 gyoza, 1 chicken skewer, and a so-called seaweed sushi. Well, it had no flavor. The main course, not good. We paid extra for the tenderloin skewer, but after chewing it 100 times, we decided to throw it up and feed it to the dogs, but even THAT is too much for the dog. So then we smashed the window. It was rock hard. Dessert: a chocolate dream, more like a nightmare. Young people who work here chatted and drank (Red Bull) behind the bar. You can hear their laughter from here to the far end. Once we got to the cash register, we had to pay €70. This is for 2 people. So you suddenly pay an extra €30 for 4 drinks and a sandwich. The bottom line: if you want awful food you can feed to the dogs, definitely come here; they'll welcome you with open arms.

The concept wasn't explained to us, so we ordered a main course and had to pay for the full three-course menu. They weren't flexible about this or offered any options, even though the staff didn't explain the concept clearly. The food was placed on the table without any eye contact. They even put a dessert on the birthday boy's gift instead of on the table. No one asked for drinks. Apparently, lactose-free is not available, and the manager couldn't tell us this when we asked. In short, unfortunately, the last time for us...

Went to Bregje for dinner for the first time. I had the tacos as a starter, which were absolutely delicious and nice and crispy! 🌮 I had the burger for the main course, which I personally found disappointing. 😕 I had the cheesecake for dessert, which was good. There was one waitress who seemed like he wasn't interested in it, which was a shame, but the rest of the staff were friendly. I also found it very affordable, and the wait wasn't long. I'll be back to try the other options on the menu.

The appetizer I received was cold. The main course was okay, but the prawn crackers that came with it were a huge, inedible lump. The ice cream we had for dessert had clearly been thawed and then refrozen. Unfortunately, a very bad experience; I will never go there again.

Unfortunately this was a disappointing dinner. The spareribs were strange and did not look good. The glass I got my drink in was full of food residue. Definitely not recommended!!

What a shame that it was so disappointing yesterday at Bregje in Nieuwegein. The food was served lukewarm, we even had to wait minutes for the dish for one of our guests twice. I noticed that hardly any employee walked around with a smile on their face. Was it too hot? Was it too busy? In any case, they didn't seem to be able to handle the crowd. Oh, a little tip for the staff: don't drink from a bottle in front of the guests, that doesn't look very polite.

Unfortunately, our visit to restaurant Bregje was a bit disappointing due to several points of attention in both the service and the atmosphere. The staff was regularly smoking outside, which meant that we often had to wait a long time before we were helped. For example, it took more than an hour before the plates of the main course were cleared. We eventually had to ask for the dessert ourselves, because it took a very long time. In addition, it was very noisy in the restaurant. Not only because of the general noise level, but also from the kitchen there was a lot of noise to be heard — plates were broken several times, which caused a restless atmosphere. Finally, it was noticeable that the bread was placed on the table rather sloppily, which did not seem very hospitable. Although the concept of Bregje is good in itself, the experience would improve considerably with more attention to service, tranquility and professionalism.

After years I reserved a table again. Nice concept for a great price. But what a disappointment: slow service (they were walking with a lot, but chaotic and messy), very bad food (tasteless and cold or lukewarm). Definitely not worth repeating or recommending. Too bad! In the meantime I received a gift voucher of 15 euros for the inconvenience, to spend at other restaurants. Unfortunately the gift voucher was sent without postage costs, which is why I received a request from POSTNL to pay an amount of 4.84.

There were super tasty dishes but also really less successful dishes. Staff works their socks off but remains super friendly. Personally really enjoyed the dessert, trifle...

Vistrio kwam ongeveer uit de vriezer. Te koud waardoor smakeloos net als de carpaccio. Zalm niet 100 gaar. De panne cotta met warme kersensaus werd een amorfe massa. De Aperol Spritz beneden alle peil. Waterig en zonder prik. Andere tafelgasten waren tevreden over hun schnitzels en spareribs.

Echt slechte kwaliteit. Voorgerecht met taaie taco’s en heel slecht gevuld. Ik wist ook niet dat je carpaccio kan verpesten…. Smakeloze saus en wat voor kaas zat erop? Geen idee! Ook smakeloos. Iemand bestelde een hamburger waarvan het broodje niet weg te krijgen was (klein eigen-merk supermarkt broodje) en het vlees, daar kreeg je buikpijn van. Het plakje “cheddar” of wat er voor door zou moeten gaan hadden ze beter achterwege kunnen laten. De twee! puntjes ossenhaas waren te gaar en zo klein dat je ze moest zoeken onder de niet al te royale portie saus. Dit ging vergezeld van een half worteltje, een klein reepje paprika en een dun schijfje courgette samen met een hoopje ondefinieerbaar klef spul. Geweldig! De frieten waren slap en waar die naar smaakten…? Laat maar, te slecht voor woorden. En dan de nagerechten… kaasplankje, dat waren drie stukjes die je ieder in 1 hapje opat. Het kletzenbrot was zo dun dat je er doorheen kon kijken en tegelijk helemaal uitgedroogd en ook superklein dus maar laten liggen. En dan de dame blanche… dat was een schijfje!? ijs met een koekje? eronder met een streepje saus en van die chemische nep-slagroom. Het ijs was alleen koud en smaakte naar niks. En dan de bediening… heel vriendelijk maar als je ziet dat de schalen die geserveerd werden tegen het lijf van de serveerster aangehouden werden omdat ze het anders kennelijk niet tegelijk kon dragen, vonden we niet al te smakelijk. En dan al dat glaswerk wat ze kapot lieten vallen…. De ene na de andere, daar konden ze heel hard om lachen. Wat een ellende.

We were late due to tests at St Antonius hospital, so we wanted to grab a quick bite before going home. And Bregje Nieuwegein is the right place to do that, especially the flexibility of the staff is great. And even though they initially forgot to take an order, they immediately arranged it with a drink on the house without asking. The price quality was excellent. So it is the right place to dine at an affordable price.

Wat een teleurstellende ervaring Ik moet even mijn frustratie kwijt over het optreden van het personeel Bij de vestiging Nieuwegein . Ik had daar een tafel gereserveerd om 17:00 uur om Haar verjaardag te vieren. Zoals Het hoort waren wij daar ruim op tijd namelijk 1648 uur ik loop naar binnen en werd daar aangesproken door een dame die mij vertelde dat de zaak pas om 1700 uur Open zou gaan. Ik heb nog gereageerd dat wij gereserveerd hadden om 1700 uur. Ik nogal verbaasd dat wij weer naar buiten werden verwezen en ik daar samen met mijn 80 jaar oude moeder moest wachten totdat de zaak om 1700 uur open ging dus 7 minuten later. Nu vindt ik het niet handig om een oudere vrouw die slecht ter been is op deze manier buiten te laten wachten Mijn moeder was behoorlijk teleurgesteld en heeft dan ook verzocht of er niet ergens anders heen konden gaan waar we wel welkom waren Dit hebben wij inmiddels ook gedaan en hebben daar heerlijk gegeten. Ik ben uiterst ontevreden hoe men dit heeft opgepakt. Een klant die om 1700 een tafel heeft gereserveerd niet binnen laten als deze klant 7 minuten eerder arriveert dat kan je geen service noemen De reactie van de manager…… Bedankt voor je email en wat super vervelend om te horen dat jullie avond zo is verlopen. Wij gaan inderdaad echt pas om 17:00 open, dus vandaar dat mijn collega dit ook aangegeven had. We hebben dit samen eventjes besproken en ze gaf aan een verkeerde inschatting hiermee te hebben gemaakt. Ze had jullie ook in de gang of op de bank even kunnen laten wachten, zodat ze zelf de laatste dingen nog kon afmaken. Onze excuses hiervoor en we hopen dit nu in de toekomst te kunnen voorkomen. Tja dat is het dan …….
