I had a really delicious meal at Asian Tower. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the food is delicious. Definitely recommended. In addition, the employees are also very friendly and happy to have a chat with you.

Yes, I’m a foodie; I ain’t gonna lie! Don’t know what to do this weekend and live in the area of Utrecht (or willing to take a trip there)? Then I have a fun suggestion for you! Thank me later! 😘 So, me and my bestie tried out this fun place in Nieuwegein called the “ASIAN TOWER”, an Asian fusion all you can eat restaurant with a Japanese fresh sushi bar! 📍Location is in the tag! We tried all kinds of goodies like: lobster 🦞 soup for starters, edamame 🫛 beans of course, but also some of the more luxury thingies, like: Oysters 🦪, coquilles, truffel sushi and sashimi salmon. • Apart from the food I also love how the upgraded the interior; it’s newly renovated and they went for modern and added all kinds of fun features like the Japanese comic statues, the beautiful koi fishes in an indoor pond and lots of nice lightened mirrors. It’s insta-fun-worthy and definitely for foodies 💯 worth a visit! • Since I cannot select options, here are my Personal recommendations: 1. Oysters 🦪 (super fresh and juice with special fish roe with a twist of vinegar) 2. Sashimi Salmon (healthy fats and proteins and freshly cut at the sushi bar) 3. Fresh sushi 🍣 (freshly prepared at the sushi bar for you, definitely amazing!) 4. Sweet potato fries (simple but it’s still one of my favs!) ((If you’re not a seafood eater or sushi lover like me, there’s lots of meat 🥩 too, like: lamb, duck, chicken, beef, and even kangaroo or fresh wagyu beef!))

I didn't like the fact that hygiene is not guaranteed, I saw the chef scratching his nose and poking his nose the entire session. In addition, the glasses were not washed and immediately used again, the only thing they do is wipe them with a cloth.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Asian Tower Restaurant, and I can’t recommend it enough! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. The sushi was especially impressive—delicious and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous. Whether you’re in the mood for traditional Asian cuisine or something with a modern twist, Asian Tower has it all. Definitely a spot I’ll return to again and again!

Delicious food. Super helpful and friendly staff. Indeed 1 dish per person per 10 minutes, but that is fine. Dishes were on the table quickly. The oysters and tenderloin tips were especially delicious! I still miss the Chinese takeaway, but that's because their garlic chicken was just too delicious!

I recently had dinner at Asian Tower and what an amazing experience it was! 🤩From the moment you enter, you are surrounded by a luxurious and atmospheric ambiance, complete with beautiful details such as elegant lighting and graceful koi carp 🎏 The food is truly top quality! Every dish is carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors are refined and the variety of dishes is enormous, so there is something for everyone. Despite being an All You Can Eat concept, it feels like dining in a high-end restaurant ✨ The service is also excellent: the staff is super friendly, professional and makes sure you don't miss anything 👏🏼The price-quality ratio is also impressive - you really get value for your money. The passion of the owners and chefs is clearly noticeable in every detail and every bite is a taste explosion 🤤😋 If you are looking for a restaurant where taste, atmosphere and service come together for an affordable price, then Asian Tower is definitely recommended!❤️ We will definitely come back.

Recently visited Aisan Tower, but the experience was unfortunately disappointing. The menu was limited and it felt more like an all-you-can-eat concept than fine dining. You are only allowed to order one dish per round, which is a real shame. In addition, it took a long time for the food to arrive and the sushi was not fresh. I expected much more from this.

It's been a long time since we ate there. Went again yesterday. A new concept and that is a great success. The food was very good, can be ordered in stages. Perhaps the menu was not as extensive as other restaurants with the same concept, but that means you can use the entire menu. Everything tasteful, freshly prepared and with good products. The service is perfect, involved, informal and attentive. No negatives to discover. It is not a question of whether we will return, but of when. So maximum stars and highly recommended.

We had a really fantastic meal with a group of 6. Bizarrely good price/quality ratio. We were initially a bit doubtful about the fact that you can only choose 1 dish per round, but what a great concept! You have just enough time between dishes to check whether you can really continue or are already full. Much less waste, the food came bizarrely quickly. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. And I never expected such a culinary presentation and experience from an all you can eat. We tried a lot and everything was delicious, something I've never experienced before. We drove an hour for it but we will definitely come back here!

Sushi here is prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator. After the umpteenth time I decided to say something about it. Then suddenly a “fresh” sushi roll could be made. But the moment you order another sushi roll via the tablet, it is cold again. It's the first and last time for us.

Friendly staff, food came very quickly, but we were there very early and it was still very quiet. I find the choice limited compared to other restaurants with this concept. The food itself is good, but the price-quality ratio is a bit disappointing. Desserts are also not included in the price. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Wij hadden telefonisch een reservering gemaakt voor 17:00 bij Asian Tower "Nieuw Concept", maar nergens werd vermeld of verteld dat er een tijdslimiet van twee uur zou zijn. Ook op hun website is hierover niets terug te vinden. Tijdens ons bezoek werden we na slechts 1,5 uur eten onvriendelijk verzocht om te vertrekken, terwijl we nog volop aan het genieten waren van onze maaltijd. Dit was niet alleen onprofessioneel, maar ook ronduit "Zeer Beledigend". We voelden ons absoluut niet welkom en kregen sterk de indruk dat het restaurant meer gericht was op het snel doorwisselen van tafels dan op klanttevredenheid. Als we vooraf waren geïnformeerd, hadden we hier rekening mee kunnen houden met sneller bestellen, zeker omdat per ronde slechts één gerecht per persoon kan worden besteld, waarna er telkens vijf minuten moeten wachten voordat een nieuwe bestelling kan worden geplaatst. Met zo’n respectloze houding tegenover klanten is dit voor ons een absolute "Afrader".

I went to eat at Asian Tower yesterday and it was a great experience. They have grown enormously with their new concept where you can dine with groups in a tasty, luxurious and long time. The food was of high quality and you can order unlimited without having to pay attention to the prices. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, with freshly prepared dishes that were perfectly seasoned. I especially enjoyed the sushis and the st. scallops. The value for money was excellent and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cozy and tasty meal. Definitely a place I will return to soon! Very satisfied!!

Went there for dinner today, we were there for maybe 1 hour max. The food is really disappointing. Good reviews on TikTok and other social media, but in reality a waste of money. We left what we ordered... the fries/sweet potato fries had a very bad oil taste, the beans had no salt or taste, the fried rice had a very strong taste + rice was overcooked, the beef was very wet as if it had been boiled instead of fried (sauce was watery but okay), teriyaki chicken were very small pieces that you could barely pick up with chopsticks and finally the shrimp were tasty but not really special! Unfortunately the sushi wasn't tasty either! Rice was soggy, barely any filling and very sour mayo on top. We are normally huge sushi fans and often eat at Shizen, but the sushi at Asian Tower was really not tasty… At checkout we were not asked if we liked it, it was quick to pay and go! (The service was also friendly) We won't be back again...

It was so cold.... I finally said it and then it was said "we have turned off the heating". And it was really cold outside so it really wasn't my fault. So I really don't think it's hospitable to leave your guests in the cold. Food was ok, but this too could have been warmer. The taste was good. I think 1 dish per round with 10 minutes in between is very little. Normally I flop when I walk out of the sushi place, but that really wasn't the case here.... Do I go back? No. Do I advise against it? No, neither. The service was friendly.

gisteren hier wezen eten, hadden gehoord dat er een nieuw concept was. We zijn verrast door de fantastische en heerlijke gerechten. Ook de bediening was vriendelijk. Het nieuwe interieur was ook mooi en sfeervol. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Essentially eating (well eating) We had high expectations, unfortunately it all started with the wrong drinks, why did the man say it's okay? First dishes were salmon and carpaccio, ice cream and ice cold and the plate was broken. Okay, on to the next dish. Sushi well... very small and the tuna was kind of plastic and certainly not fresh. Oh yes, the plate is broken. Sitedich nasi! No taste, even with a stone spoon. 🤔 Now I'm starting to think something. Then salmon tartare with too much wasabi, the man said yes, it is also ordered by real men 😳 uhh okay. Lamb chop was tough, cold, and brown pepper sauce from Knorr because the peppers were still hard. And oh yes, the plate was broken and the man said yes, the dishwasher, right? Uhh, as a chef you don't give a plate like that and throw it away, I think. Why did the man say you have to keep your fingers on that broken thing then you won't see it. We can go on like this for a while. All in all, very bad and not the answer you expect. They appear fancy, but they have really become a mess. Ours and I read several people here have experienced this. Shame. Very unfortunate

Saw several videos on TikTok and to be honest, it really wasn't worth it. Only able to choose 1 item from the “menu” each time and the side dishes were very limited. In addition, decent prices for the special menu. Sushi was nice, but didn't get tight sushi rolls, more like someone was making them for the first time. Positive is that almost everything was halal and very friendly staff. Make portions a little larger or the ordering time a little shorter and the sushi a little better. The rest of the dishes were fine, nothing special but passable!

My partner and I had a delicious meal here! What a great menu they have here, so much choice and wonderfully fresh. We definitely recommend the Wagyu, we have ordered it several times. The decoration of the restaurant is also really beautiful. Our compliments also go to the staff, all very friendly and we would especially like to thank the manager for his good care, he treated us wonderfully. See you soon!

Went by for the first time yesterday after seeing their advertising, but unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. The portions were smaller than in the videos, and while waiting 10 minutes per round is not a problem in itself, it was disappointing to then receive mediocre (not to mention bad) sushi. With today's many high-quality all-you-can-eat restaurants, this experience was disappointing, so a repeat visit is probably not planned.

The specials are very nice and so is the decor, but it's a shame that the rotating installation is turned off. For a "high-end" restaurant the menu looked a bit strange. The same photos were used for some shrimp dishes. For the sweet potato side dish, there was a bag of mayo on the plate in the photo... The desserts were also very disappointing, even though you paid extra for them. The tiramisu came half frozen and the ice cream also had a weird texture. 1 of us came across what looked like a soft grain of rice in his ice cream. Since this was vanilla ice cream, there is no real explanation for what exactly this could be, but it did immediately kill our appetite, so we went to pay and just got a McFlurry. Even when we went to pick up our coats from the cloakroom, there was no one there and we had to ask a waitress after a few minutes. Nice place, but I think I'll wait a year until I visit again, hoping that they have fixed the rotating installation and are using it, and that the menu has also been improved.

Asian Tower's new concept works with 1 dish per round per person, where you can order something new every 10 minutes. A great idea in itself, but the offer was not very special and I personally did not think the sushi was that great. The tastiest dishes I tried were the salmon and tuna tartare, lobster soup and beef tataki – they were really good! My friends were especially fans of the oysters and lamb chops. A bit strange: at one point we received a message that we had ordered the “maximum number of lamb chops” and we could no longer order them. That felt a bit strange, especially since the concept was supposed to be unlimited. In addition, there is a wide choice of cocktails and other drinks, which is certainly a plus. What struck me is that the floor vibrates a little when someone walks. We didn't find it super disturbing, but I can imagine that others would find it less pleasant. The service was very friendly for the most part, especially the male servers and the girl at the cloakroom were super sweet! Unfortunately, there was one server who was quite rude - he banged the plates on the table and had a passive-aggressive attitude, which didn't really improve the atmosphere. All in all a good experience, but not perfect. I give it 4 out of 5 stars and might come back again next year to see if it has improved!

Visited for the first time and upon entering I was really surprised at how beautiful and luxurious the appearance was! The staff is also super friendly, they take your coat politely. The food always arrived within 1 minute, everything very quickly! For an all you can eat this is certainly a very chic place. We thought the sushi was of very high quality, and the meat dishes were also very tasty. The only thing that was a shame was that the desserts such as the tiramisu and cheesecake were still too cold/frozen. We would have liked it at room temperature.

Here they have a nice atmosphere and offer fine Asian cuisine, but the ordering process is done via a tablet, making the service less personal. The service cannot tell much about the food and is difficult to understand. The 'exclusive dishes' are in fact just standard dishes, nothing special. The choice is limited and not that extensive, and there are many extra charges for dishes. If you are looking for fast service and a more extensive offering, Dojo Houten is a better option. Moreover, you have to pay €7.50 extra for dessert, which is often included at many other restaurants.

The food is very tasty, the dishes have a perfect size. The later the evening, the longer everything takes, currently waiting 45+ minutes for a dish (sushi), the rest of the food is very fast. Service is a 5+, very friendly and social. Good experience, but a pity about the long wait, which would prevent me from going back again.

Don't ever go here, none of the staff cared to help us, they just forwarded us to another staff member, until we finally 'got serviced' by the manager. We were not allowed to see the menu , because he was busy... and when I friendly asked I still would like to see the menu, he reconfirmed he was too busy for us..(restaurant was half empty).. we decided on the spot to have our dinner elsewhere

We ate here 2 weeks ago and we liked the food, but you do have to wait 10/15 minutes after each order, but you can also have a side dish served with it. But hey, there's plenty of time to go home satisfied. Service was excellent

We came to the new Asian Tower, sadly our party of four persons all got sick with food poisoning. That is just not a coincidence since we all ate only here together. It was a business dinner. Just writing this as I almost have to run to the toilet again even though I ate here two days ago...

The food is okey. However, the waiter only talks to male. He ignored me (woman) the entire time. He came to ask whether everything is fine, ONLY to my man, not turning his face to me at all, not even one time. When we asked for the bill, he came and still asked my man, well, my man said 'She pays it', because in our family, woman makes decision. He unbelievably still insisted to talk to him (my husband). Aparently, in his world, only man makes decision, woman needs to be ignored. Look at now, who in this family will decide what review to give and whether come here the second time? Well, WOMAN! There were many seats, but they have to arrange two tables side by side with only one see through board in between. We can hear all the conversation from the other table, I think the other table can hear us as well. I really don't get the logic, why????

Vanavond met vrienden voortreffelijk gegeten bij het verbouwde Asian Tower. Het volledig vernieuwde concept heeft ons in positieve zin verrast! We don't know where the whiners in the latest reviews come from, but they should go to a food shed. Food is perfect, service and attention to the guest is perfect, as is the food. Because you can only order 1 dish at a time, you can enjoy a relaxed meal here. Asian Tower is highly recommended.

Asian Tower is na een verbouwing van zes maanden net begonnen met een nieuw “all you can eat” concept. Het restaurant is smaakvol ingericht. Alle gerechten die we gegeten hadden waren vers klaargemaakt en smaakten voortreffelijk. De bediening is zeer voorkomend en onderhoudend. Asian Tower is met dit concept en deze kwaliteit zeker een aanwinst voor Nieuwegein en omgeving.

This second eating experience was more about focusing on the taste of the food itself and consciously chewing it. Since I ate a dish every ten minutes, it only took a little over an hour to finish the meal. Slow and truly waste-free eating. A good dining experience is no longer measured by the statement: 'the more, the better'. When you finally leave the restaurant, you will feel like you haven't had enough and would love to come back next time.

We have been getting food at Asian Tower for years. Delicious, always, often eaten there. But today we got food and what a disappointment, food was different, bland. No more Chinese. And no more pork either. No more pork at all, they said. They lose us as customers. Apparently taken over by another party.

The food was mediocre and definitely not the quality you would expect for the price. On top of that, everything takes a very long time: you can only order something every 15 minutes, after which it takes another 10 minutes before your dish arrives. For a small snack, such as a scallop, you then have to wait another 15 minutes. This makes the whole dinner incredibly frustrating. The prices are also absurdly high. Drinks cost €3.75 each, which is ridiculous. The dessert also costs an extra €7.50, and for that you get a simple plate with some fruit, whipped cream and a small piece of mochi – absolutely not worth it. All in all, the waiting time is too long, the food mediocre, and the price-quality ratio is completely skewed. What made the experience even worse was the lack of contact with the wait staff. I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Previously we ate at the tepan jaki plate where the chef prepared all the dishes in front of you. Now an 'all you can eat' formula where you order a new dish every fifteen minutes. All dishes are delicious and prepared with care. Wide choice of fish, meat, sushi, etc. There is a (rightly) surcharge for some dishes. All in all, we had a fantastic meal and the service was, as always, friendly and made the evening complete. We love coming here!

I have been coming to Asian Tower for years and have always enjoyed eating there. The restaurant used to have a warm, traditional Chinese atmosphere, but after the renovation it feels different. The menu is now "all you can eat," which is fine, but the quality doesn't feel like it used to. The food is okay, but not special. Unfortunately, I notice that the service leaves much to be desired. Orders take longer, and the wait for food sometimes feels endless. What struck me most is that the owner pays a lot of attention to regular guests, so that other tables sometimes seem to be forgotten - and that is a shame. Although the prices are moving towards fine dining, that feeling is missing from the overall experience. If you come purely for the food and don't expect too much from the service, it's a great place, but I hope that the quality and attention of the past will one day return.

Recently they stopped to serve take-away. Not smart move and big disappointment for clients. The food is so good that in the past we drove from another city to pick up our order, now we are done with the restaurant.

The environment is comfortable and every dish is like a work of art. It is a place worth returning to continue enjoying.

Te duur voor een menu van 42 € pp. Wij zijn geen grote eters dus je betaald altijd te veel. We bestelde altijd een cantonnese rijsttafel en daar zat alles in. Dat gaat nu niet meer. De hete soep is niet meer op de menu kaart. Zonde ik denk dat veel mensen het laten afweten.

Quiet location with plenty of free parking. Menu is a bit confusing because the restaurant is divided into a Japanese and Chinese section. Because of this, the costs and portions were not clear. After we received our drinks we had to wait more than 30 minutes to get our ordered food on the table. I think the waiting time is very long. While it wasn't busy at all. I think about 5 tables were occupied. The food is good and tasty. Fresh and varying. I probably won't come back here again because of the price and the waiting time. Due to the Japanese and Chinese choices, the price of the food is quite expensive. And when you are quite hungry, it is annoying if you have to wait so long. Afterwards we saw a McDonalds next to this restaurant. I think if we had eaten there I would have finished eating earlier and I would have had more money left in my wallet.

Had dinner here after four years. What a disappointment. Bad operation. Had ordered sushi, it arrived with spring rolls. I say I didn't order that. I brought out the menu and said I ordered sushi. Yes, sorry, you have to clearly state that you wanted sushi. No, not my fault sir, yes you can still order sushi, but we will not take the spring roll back. Also talk back very bluntly. Where has customer friendliness gone? Two grumpy servers were walking around. As if we were not welcome. Don't think I'll get there again. Very unfortunate.

Wij zijn hier nu twee keer geweest en we vinden het hier leuk, verrassend, en lekker. VEEL beter dan het gemiddelde Chin.Ind.Rest. Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Wij hebben er voor onszelf een drie-gangen menu van gemaakt: voorgerecht, dan een paar sushi als tussengerecht, dan twee halve porties hoofdgerecht. De keuze in het menu is uitbundig! De wijn prima en nog betaalbaar. Aanrader om eens te proberen, handig gelegen bij de A12. Je verwacht dit van buiten niet, direct naast de ‘McDonalds’. Binnen zaten wij boven. Daar is het ruim, licht, en zijn de tafels mooi gedekt.

Basic. Chinese dishes were just okay. Served quickly. Service curt. You get an answer to your question, but that's about it. Strict gentleman who served us. I wouldn't choose this for a cozy or romantic atmosphere. You have to make it 'fun' yourself. The overall atmosphere was quite special. See other reviews

Extremely unfriendly service. The restaurant is completely empty and apparently we were not allowed to sit where we wanted (a spot with some sun). The way we were spoken to was disgusting. Don't eat here!

In a completely empty restaurant we were not allowed to choose which table we wanted to sit at. Strange aggressive approach from the service. We left and now the restaurant is completely empty again.
