Ron's Bakery in Oud-Beijerland

5 stars for this cozy bakery. The ladies helped me very kindly this week, even though it was already quite busy. The selection of pastries wasn't very extensive, but it was unique. And once home, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bought oliebollen and apple fritters today. The oliebollen tasted very salty, and the apple fritter had a hard crust with a 0.5 cm slice of apple. This is going straight in the trash. It's a shame, we used to be regular customers, but since the takeover, the quality has plummeted.

Their rolls are sticky and soggy, the brown and the white ones, they don't seem to be cooked, I mentioned it several times but apparently they like it that way

It's such a shame they're no longer around. There were some really sweet, friendly girls in Oudbeijerland, and they helped you with everything. One of those places where you really felt like a customer. I think it's such a shame they're no longer around. And those girls were truly amazing!!

Delicious bread, I just miss the pre-baked baguettes from Van de Linden. These loaves bake too quickly. In response to your comment, that's strange, because I have at least a few hundred of Van der Van de Linden's pre-baked ones. They were whiter, with a bit of water on the outside, and you could fill them with, for example, ground meat and bake them for 30 minutes at 150°C. These are ready in eight minutes. Really. I've been making the same recipe for years, and my oven is the same. The recipe. There's definitely something different.

They have good bread. Friendly staff.
