I ordered and received a delicious, non-commercial but authentic roti made with real gangaram curry spices. 😋Delivery took a bit long,🕕 but it was worth the wait. I'll keep that in mind next time. Got some roti here, for myself and my colleagues. It was delicious, I can only say it was very tasty.

I've honestly NEVER seen or had such disgusting and bad Surinamese food. You'd almost think they did it on purpose, it's so bad. It's truly unbelievable; everything tastes exactly the same. I ordered a moksi meti with Tjauw min this afternoon, with an EXTRA container of meat. Extra meat wasn't possible because I'd have to order a container for each type of meat. So I opted for a container of tjaw siew, which was a whopping €12 more. I paid €30 for it, and then I arrived at work to find the entire bag soaked with grease, oil, and who knows what else. Until I opened the food and saw where it all came from. Half the containers were filled with meat, and the rest with pure grease, oil, and sludge. It was unbelievable how it looked. It was truly outrageous. Even while eating, you just felt disgusting because you tasted and realized how much grease and oil you were consuming. This was unbelievable again... I ordered what I mentioned earlier, "tjauw min," but instead I got a half-cooked bowl of mixed white and brown rice. It looked so unappetizing. And there was just a LITTLE amount. I'm simply shocked at how BAD this was... and believe me, I've actually visited quite a few places to eat to know what I'm talking about. I advise EVERYONE against ordering from here even once or going there to pick up their food. This was truly pathetic... I called them three more times, but no one answered. I was going to share the food with a colleague, so I told him earlier that he didn't need to bring dinner. But oh, oh, how ashamed I am of what I brought today... and for that price, too. Ordered a buffet for 65 people. The food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent service, everything was ready on time, and they even helped us bring it to the car. Highly recommended. See you next time.

Maharadj's roti varies in quality. Sometimes they're deliciously fresh, but other times they're thick, dry, and like they came straight from the freezer—completely different from the fresh ones. It's a shame, especially since a single roti sheet costs almost €3. Fortunately, the potato and long beans are always delicious and well-seasoned.

Great place, both delivery and pick up are always fast and the roti and nasi are great.

A few weeks ago, I placed a catering order through them. They had excellent communication and were very helpful. I received a call the day before to check if the order was still as agreed weeks ago. (I really appreciated this, as my busy schedule meant I wasn't bothered by changes to guest numbers.) Picked up at the agreed-upon time, as agreed, and everything was ready and waiting. And most importantly... everyone enjoyed their meal! So, compliments to the kitchen!

If you order food here, be prepared for a minimum wait time of 1.5 to 2 hours. Even for the simplest orders, you can easily wait two hours for your food, and then you'll get feedback that it's very busy. That's a shame for you; as a customer, I don't care. It's a real shame because the food is very good. And the delivery service is absolutely terrible.

Recently paid €12 for a roti roll, but unfortunately most of it was filled with large pieces of potatoes. I was really disappointed, especially considering the price. Too bad that's the case, because I expected more from this dish.

Placed an order at 6:38 PM. It would be there around 7:20/7:40 PM. Then I got a call at 7:40 PM asking if I could have chicken instead of ketchap. Wanted something else. Because there was no more ketchap chicken. Ordered moksi rice. So it was already overdue by then. Can happen. So I'm not going to make a fuss about it. It would happen soon. 8:20 PM I called again, because there was no food yet. It was coming. It was already with the delivery person. 8:49 PM still no food, called again. The food finally arrived at 9:30 PM. Bekant 3 hours later. And besides, the nasi was so salty and fried. That it was just crunchy. And the meat was so fatty. That I put it away after 3 bites. Really just nasty. This is really really bad. As if they threw a pack of salt and fat into the food. Really bad for your health. To be ashamed of. Never ever again for me. Waste of money!! And no excuses whatsoever!!!

Delicious roti roll tried for the first time today. Large portions, neat interior and friendly owner. Definitely worth repeating!

You have to wait an hour for your food and then call to say that it will take even longer because there are too few delivery people. You still have to get it yourself because it is already ready under heat, otherwise it will remain there for another half hour and instead of your delivery costs. When you give it back, they let you take your drink, which is very convenient

Food ordered only came for half, the rest was delivered after more than 45 minutes and items were still missing from the receipt. The food is not tasty, my son always orders here but I never agree again. 1 person meal is already a mini container which is only 2/3 full and I also forgot my paid cucumber.. thanks but never again

Delicious roti, large portion, good hygiene and smooth, friendly employee. You can also eat at tables in a separate part, but I have not seen that area. The design at the take-away counter is sober, minimalist in terms of decoration, but very spacious and clean to look at. Recommended.

Ordered nasi hot chicken today (Saturday) at 5:00 PM with delivery request 5:45 PM/6:00 PM. Food was delivered around 6pm and very tasty. Definitely worth repeating.

I ordered here via home delivery and then received a call that what I ordered was not there. People who work here are NOT friendly talking super rude and have NO manners! Purely because of their behavior, I will NEVER order from here again as they think I just talk nonsense.

Visited for the first time in May 2024. Provided training until 4:30 PM in the area, waiting for the rush hour to decrease, I had a craving for Roti and ended up here, for my return trip to Helmond... yesterday I was looking forward to doing this again. Once again we had a delicious meal and a meal to take home for tomorrow! Delicious taste and generous portions!! If only we had a tent like that in Brabant... Worthless business, service is bad. Delivery would take +- 1 hour, ultimately having to wait 2:10. No message about delay, no excuse, no reason, nothing. The food was obviously cold after such a long wait. Roti roll with pork is well filled with everything except pork, poor price quality. I wouldn't order from here again. If it were free.

Delicious Surinamese food, every order is neatly taken care of and sometimes something is left behind, but it remains a very well-maintained delivery restaurant. If something is not available, please call and discuss an alternative.

I got 2 containers of pickled cucumber today. It was the first time I came to rotihuis maharaj. Nice place, friendly people so I had a good first impression. Unfortunately, the sour cucumber didn't taste like anything. It was very watery and just looked like cucumber. So no pickles. Unfortunately for us this is not worth repeating.

What bad food. The sandwiches were soggy, cold and tasteless. The chicken curry was nothing like it. The cha sieuw had a strange taste and we noticed that for the rest of the evening, even though it largely disappeared in the trash. The telo looked more like Aviko's grandmother's fries than cassava. And it was also undercooked. The cod was bland and very little.

Ordered nasi with ketjap, moksi and saoto. I was really surprised how tasty it was. Well filled and taste was good.

Waste of money. All the food was way too salty.... My kidneys are still working overtime after a few bites!!!And then you think you can't ruin anything with a bowl of nasi.......👀 All the food was so in crushed the garbage can. They say you should leave roti to a Hindu. Well.... I would say skip this store, really rancid food!!!!

Vegetarian roti was good, Tjauwmin with moksi meti was tasty, but had nothing in common with the original Moksi meti, well, not as it should be and there was no fachong, it turns out that it is better not to get moksi meti from a Hindu shop, very nice staff.

We ordered Roti 3 times by telephone on a Thursday evening around six o'clock after a whole day of hard work on the boat. We were pleasantly surprised that there were also tables and immediately decided that we would eat it there. What an INSANELY delicious roti. Definitely as tasty as the Roti from Roopram. And a lot less waiting time. Nice portions too. The gentlemen finished it exactly, I as a lady left some potatoes and a piece of roti plate. They said that their parents had cooked for parties and celebrations for years and that they (about 4 nice young guests) still use their recipes. They have had tables for 1 month now, but it is still very bare. Good luck with these gems from ROTI

Terrible service. Ordered at 4:50 PM. Received a call at 5:50 PM that the hot chicken had run out, okay, exchanged it for chicken curry. Then called again 40 minutes later to say that they had forgotten to tell me that the chicken satay was also gone. So if we wanted to exchange again. Then they started making the satay. Called back to say we wanted our money back to order somewhere else. That was not possible because they would have arrived right away even though they said 2 minutes earlier that the satay would be made. Strange intention Never order here!!

Terrible, dramatic. We had to wait 2 hours 45 minutes for our food that we ordered. Halfway through the stated time we had waited, we contacted us to ask where the food was and we were told that the order is going out NOW. Then it took another hour and the food still wasn't there. Then I called again and the person who spoke to me was still rude and customer humiliating because I rightly indicated that I wanted the food to arrive within fifteen minutes or that I would otherwise take the necessary measures. This was the last time I ordered food from you. I must also indicate that the food was ice cold and had no taste at all. My wife stopped eating after 3 bites and our money was wasted.

The order was exactly one hour late even though the order had been placed hours in advance. In addition, the order was also incomplete. This is really the second time we have eaten at your place, the first time was takeaway and it was phenomenal!!! Now had it delivered, it's been a long time since I had such delicious roti!! Yes, yours is really sublime! (1 small tip: put chicken thigh gilets instead of on the bone...we have just a little more meat. ;) But all in all, delivery was super fast!! And friendly too! And I can eat it for two days each time as it should be! The soup is also highly recommended!

Tasty roti, bara mwah. Well served, well priced. You can have a meal (1 table), but it is not clean and it is cold. Very difficult to park for pickup. It is fine for home delivery or collection (by bike).

I ordered 2 x roti and a bowl of chicken curry at 5:05 PM. Finally delivered after 2.5 hours. Food was still warm but very salty. This was once and never again.

Good and authentic Surinamese-Hindu food. A small point for improvement is that I prefer a little more spice and salt in the food. The staff is friendly. The business itself looks clean & hygienic.

Delicious authentic roti masala doks, the way it should be Hindustani, a big 10 for you. No bland custom taste like some other roti shops. We have ordered often, highly recommended! Happy New Year to the friendly staff.

Bara was good and large for the price, but the curry sauce was terribly salty and really peppery, impossible to eat, I just threw it away, a great waste of my money
