Great old fashioned pub with delicious smoked salmon...

Friendly man, but we couldn't eat anything here.

Enjoyed a cup of coffee in the sun. Colorful location, with a great range of beer. Unfortunately it was still too early for beer 😆

I stumbled across this place while cycling. It's a nice place to take a break and grab a bite to eat or drink (self-service). Relaxed atmosphere, with a friendly owner. Definitely recommended!

(2023) Went back to Bertus last week. Had a delicious eel sandwich and salmon sandwich. What fun it is! The beautiful stories of Bertus. The delicious food, the tranquility, the atmosphere. Time simply stands still for a moment. ATM? "No, I don't have it here! Just transfer it. It's my wife's account, so I won't see anything about it ever again." Great 🤣! (2021) If you ever pass Oldebroek on the first Saturday of the month, you must visit the Feithenhof. Bertus then has freshly smoked eel and salmon around noon. To die for. If you don't like fish, indulge in a delicious piece of apple cake. Or of course you can immediately start with a delicious specialty beer 😋. A real gem on the Veluwe.

LOOK AFTER. It says on the internet that the De Feithenhof rest area is open, but that is not correct. Cycled there in the rain for nothing. So closed.

Unfortunately no card so no coffee for us. I think it would be a nice addition to create a QR code that can also be used to make payments.

We took a break here during our cycle tour. Pleasantly surprised by the nice, cozy location. Delicious apple cake, highly recommended. The manager is also happy to tell you about this place and the surrounding area. Definitely worth a stop.
