Not what it used to be

Friendly staff, the chef himself came by the table to bring the delicious starter, the main course was also super tasty. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert anymore, but we have no doubt that this will also be good. Nice restaurant: highly recommended!

We ate here with 3. The food itself was quite tasty and the service was genuinely friendly but very slow. It was not busy in the place, there was only 1 other table occupied with 2 people. Thursday around 5:30 PM. We were only noticed 20 minutes after our arrival. 10 minutes later we had our drinks. Then it took another 30 minutes to eat anything. That doesn't seem that long, but it does when the place is practically empty. And this concerns fish & chips, a burger and a salad. They were tasty, but those kinds of dishes can be on the table in 10 minutes when it's not busy. It may have to do with not enough staff because I also went looking for someone in the kitchen when paying. We thought the wallpaper was very successful 😄

Get a bittergarnituurtje (bittergarnituur) from the very talented bartender with long hair; they get a mix of regular snacks that have been cut in half. Pleasantly surprised by this mix of flavor and texture. I would also recommend this bartender to the ladies. The beer is lukewarm, but the lukewarmer it is, the bluer it gets. 👍

Very good food, tasty and a lot. If you have leftover fries with six teenagers (14-19) at the table, a company is doing well. Recommended.

Unfortunately our experience was not so good. We sat in the back of the shop because we had the dog with us, which nobody noticed by the way. It was very unsociable in terms of entourage and atmosphere. And also very cold in terms of temperature, at one point we just put on our coats because we were considering leaving otherwise but we had already ordered food. We asked if the heater could be turned on but of course we were already nickeled by then. We both chose the spare ribs because they were so well regarded but we certainly did not think they were the best spare ribs we have ever eaten, I can't say they were bad but they were very dry. My table companion just couldn't even finish them. The fries and salad were tasty. But we had to ask for a container to put the bones in ourselves, no tissues to clean your hands with after gnawing on the spare ribs. The music is carnival caliber very cozy but not during the meal. In the end we left half of the food and went home, freezing cold. This felt very poor. The boy serving was very friendly and did his best.

The door was still locked upon arrival, even though the business had already been open for 1 1/2 hours. Staff was not very customer friendly, they were helped normally, but they were not asked if everything was satisfactory. Food was good.

Even though we were the only customers in the shop, we had to wait a very long time for the food. Fries lukewarm and schnitzel very greasy. When paying, we were also not asked if we enjoyed it. Certainly not worth repeating.

In yesterday a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff, cozy and delicious food. The food is great, the salad with the prawns and carpaccio was crispy fresh! The Spareribs and (large) satay were delicious. It should be noted that fresh homemade Red Cabbage Salad and Applesauce were presented. You don't come across this often, wonderful. All this for one reasonable price!! We will definitely come back and recommend this beautiful place to everyone!!! Ria and René

We had bought a social deal and were here for the first time...how incredibly delicious this was. And what a surprise, it was like an old-fashioned brown cafe with mainly elderly people (during the week). Wonderfully quiet without the noise you often have in restaurants in Zwolle. Definitely worth repeating. A nice surprise near Zwolle. Ps there is only Zuiderzee cafe on the facade and no chefs so you can easily miss it

We had something to eat here in the Geddelte cafeteria for lunch. O.a. Carpaccio sandwich, this was fine. We were under the fence. Tables were a bit sticky and the environment was unpleasant. Staff did what they had to do, but were a bit indifferent.

I occasionally order here. It's just that every order goes wrong. The food itself is good to eat but I always miss the sauce. This time again. And after calling 3 times there is still no answer. I pay extra for the sauce every time, so I want it there too

It is not what it seems, on social deal it seemed nice and tasty, but in reality it was very disappointing. The food was deep fried including the schnitzel, more snack bar quality. We don't go there anymore.

Ate with a social deal voucher. Too bad the tomato soup was no longer available. If we were given the choice of a starter, we could also have a dessert. The food was more than enough, we had satay, a burger and a schnitzel. Our grandson had fries with chicken nuggets and was allowed to come along to choose an ice cream. Yesterday we had dinner at Kokkie (Oldebroek), took a seat at a table inside, but when we wanted to order we were asked if we wanted to sit outside in the covered "SHOUR" because everything was supposed to be reserved (there were still at least 7 tables available). When we continued at 8 PM these tables were still not occupied, is this Dutch hospitality or Dutch arrogance? Food was decent for a chip shop - certainly not restaurant level. Affligem?? was served in Texel glasses because Affligem glasses were not available. No, you will never see us here again!!

Social deal lunch done. The lunch was of really good quality. The service was inexperienced, which wasn't bad, but actually endearing. You must like Dutch music because that is constantly playing.

We were warmly welcomed. Quite a long wait before the first course arrived and between the next course. The food was sufficient, but everything was very greasy. Meat was dripping in grease. The cheesecake came quickly and was delicious.

Nice ambiance if you like nostalgia and a real cafe atmosphere. The food we had was a chicken salad and Greek salad, both well topped with the most important ingredients such as chicken and feta cheese. As a main course a mixed grill, of which the first thing you think mmmh is this in terms of portion, but I think it is also because only the meat is on the plate and we received a separate bowl of fries for 2 people. The meat is of good quality and nicely seasoned, not too much and not too little, so it was delicious. For dessert a chocolate cake and special coffee. Although the chocolate cake comes from the freezer, it is very tasty once it has defrosted. With the coffee you really get value for money because all the ingredients are on the scale from sugar to the shot glass with liqueur. All in all I think value for money via social deal.

Ate via social deal.. beforehand was half a bowl of oxtail soup. We had to pay extra for the main course, but it was a very small amount of meat. And then a frozen chocolate cake. Really not possible. Sprite a shame. Now let's go order something because we are still hungry.

I took advantage of a lunch offer via social deal here. Were the only guests but the food was delicious. More than enough, so a great deal.

The food was very tasty, but the veggie burger had too much lettuce and the burger didn't taste like anything. the fries were very tasty with a crunchy outside and a soft inside, but the wait was very long, we were eating for 30 minutes and waiting for 50 minutes. everywhere a good restaurant with good food
