Unfortunately, I've known Sake in Almere for a long time, but the service was a bit lacking. And the accessible toilet couldn't be locked. The food was okay, but the menu has also gotten worse. They used to make the sushi themselves, now it's factory-made. The boy who served us clearly wasn't interested; a bowl was thrown on the table. This left part of the table dirty, and my dining companion's shirt was also covered in dirt. He gave us a napkin for his shirt. After suggesting the table could be cleaned, he brought a wet cloth and cleaned the table. After paying and complaining about the poor service, he offered us free coffee, which we declined. That wasn't the point. This waiter clearly wasn't interested.

My sister and myself ordered the all you can order menu. In total we paid around 63 Euros Food: food was delicious, especially the fried salmon roll in melts in your mouth. Thr miso soup was sweet but I liked it, the meat plate omg delicious. Over all happy with Sushi and non sushi plates. Service: service were friendly and she was even pushing us to eat more even though other all you can order places would be happy that you are leaving. She was pleasent and kind. Bathroom: Was clean. Over all happy with the services.

The food was delicious. The AYCE concept was probably invented here, as it's a huge success. Everything you order via the tablet arrives on your table in no time and... flawlessly! That's not the case elsewhere! It's also nice that you can see how much you've already spent during your visit. The service is very friendly. I'm sorry to say, but what an incredibly disappointing experience this has been. Yesterday, for my birthday, I went out to dinner at this restaurant with 14 friends. We'd agreed in advance that we would have dinner for 15 people, including a drinks package. According to the website, this drinks package includes unlimited wine, beer, and soft drinks. Turns out, we were only allowed a maximum of 6 beers per person. The rest of the orders we placed were completely ignored, and half an hour before our final order, we were even told we wouldn't be getting any more. We were constantly given excuses for why we hadn't received any beer yet, like "We're empty," even though the whole place was empty, making this a worthless excuse to begin with. I find this truly ridiculous. The way the owners treated us was also beyond words. They glared at us as if we'd done something wrong. The rest of the staff completely agreed with us that this made no sense and that they didn't understand why we weren't allowed to order any more drinks. Ultimately, we were kicked out of the restaurant about half an hour before the end of the meal, after we had properly confronted the owners about this. They had the nerve to claim that we had all already consumed ten beers and that we had ordered far too much. Firstly, this accusation is absolutely untrue. Secondly, this should be our right if we agreed in advance that our payment would include the drinks package. If, as a restaurant, you can't afford an all-you-can-eat + drinks package, you shouldn't offer one. Besides the terrible service, we also didn't like the food. It looked anything but freshly prepared and was served poorly. The atmosphere was also terrible, as there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Now it's clear why. I advise everyone against coming to this restaurant!

The quality of the food left much to be desired — the sushi tasted like it came straight from the refrigerator and had been prepared several days in advance. I am very disappointed with this restaurant experience. The concept seemed promising, but nowhere was it mentioned that you could only order six rounds of food. This only became clear on the spot, while this was not stated on their website or in the promotion. If I had known this in advance, I would never have gone there. Furthermore, the food was not fresh. I am now a regular customer here haha. Think it's a nice place to eat. The food is delivered quickly and freshly prepared. There is a wide choice of dishes that one wants to eat. Despite the quiet moments or busy days, the service does not slow down, which I really appreciate! There are often young people working here, so I understand if one person is somewhat withdrawn out of tension due to their younger age and the other is a lot more sociable and even hands out compliments. In that sense, I am not the most difficult when it comes to customer friendliness, as long as the basis of respect is there, which in my experience I have fortunately always experienced. On the busier days I notice that the food is sometimes made a little too quickly, but that can happen sometimes, so for the Karen's among us, please understand your fellow human beings!😜. In terms of appearance, it is a great basic Japanese restaurant. It doesn't have an instagram stylish interior, so for the ladies who are really smart about that, skip this place. Regarding the toilets: There is only one ladies' toilet, one men's toilet and one disabled toilet. That can be frustrating for people who have to take that into account. I have a fear of contamination myself and I must say that the order and cleaning of the toilets could be a little better, so you are also aware of that. Regarding parking: The restaurant is located behind Mediamarkt Place, which is located at the end of the center. This allows you to park in different parking garages or even park behind the hotel/casino. In that sense there is plenty of room. Unfortunately you have to pay for this. For people who are afraid of being looked at while eating: The restaurant is located on both sides with only windows where the tables are located. So keep this in mind where you would like to sit. Normally you will be assigned a table, but if you find this uncomfortable, you can always discuss this! I do this too, so don't be ashamed of it💪🏼. Other than that it's great to do!

The first young waiter who took us to the table didn't look at you and barely understood you. He explained how ordering worked, but again we didn't understand him because he was talking very softly and staring at the ground. So you also had 3 other waiters who didn't feel like it. Fortunately, there were a few who were motivated and did not put food on the table without saying something. The food was delivered quickly, which suggests that everything is heated up in the microwave. Most of the meat dishes were dry and some also had very little flavor. The dishes also looked less tasty than in the picture. Everything was just thrown on a plate without any presentation. And there was also a strange smell in the restaurant. 5.5 years ago I had the first date with my husband at Sake Almere. We thought it would be fun, now that we have been married for 4 years now, to celebrate there with a dinner. On a Tuesday evening, it was very quiet. Which isn't a bad thing, but there was no background music or anything like that, so you could follow all the conversations in detail. Very satisfied with 1 girl, she was friendly. But the person who guided us to the table did not look at us and was curt. She clearly didn't feel like it. The food itself was shocking, the sushi tasted as if it had been taken out of the refrigerator and as if it had been ready to serve for 3 days. We received all the ordered items very quickly. We actually left feeling nauseous. Very unfortunate, because of this we will never have Sake again.

A bit crowded and especially loud, but it was a Saturday evening and there was a local festival going on, so that might be our own fault. Possibly the open floor plan perhaps? I would have liked the Saporro bulkheads a bit better. The service was excellent, they were smooth and attentive (only 1 boy was dragging his heels; wear _Good_ shoes, not popular ones) and it didn't give the impression that they were at the end of their rope, which is always nice in service industry. As for the food itself, the items we enjoyed from the menu were truly as expected; sublime. The Maki and Nigiri were in accordance with experience and expectations, the meats were never tough or raw and the raw crust was crisp, fresh and delicious. All in all it was a very successful evening, and as a result of this first date, a second one will follow!

Everything I ate here yesterday was delicious. It could only have been even tastier if the sushi rice wasn't still warm. (I'm not talking about the fried sushi). There is still some work to be done on the service. I wanted to order the matcha mousse. This could not be found on the tablet, but it could be found on the physical card. I asked a waitress about it. The waitress said I'll look into it and then never came back with an answer. I already thought that the matcha mousse would not be available to order (just like the last time I came to sake 1.5 years ago), but I wanted to let someone know that I had not received an answer to my question. I did this to a male colleague of the waitress. He indicated that the matcha mousse was temporarily not available. Me: well that's not very temporary, because when I was here 1.5 years ago I also wanted to order it and couldn't, while the picture of the matcha mousse on the menu says "new!" stands. The gentleman admitted that the menu is already outdated and that everything that says "new" has not been "new" for a while. In other words: great food, service could be better. Please keep the menu up to date and do not serve hot sushi rice in the future.

Upon arrival we received a menu, while eating we asked for a fork for the children, the lady (I think the owner) came and very irritatedly took the chopsticks with her, which she would then use again. for others while my children had already played with it... anyway, we finally ate it, sushi was tasteless, fries had no salt and the pokebowl smelled a bit sour... after we had eaten we walked to the lady to pay, she charged a different price than we had calculated, so I asked for an explanation because these prices were on the menu we had previously received, and she replied that these are the old prices, after much insistence that that is not our problem, she agreed. calculated the 'old' prices and then shouted very loudly in Chinese... it was not a pleasant experience and especially not for my children. I have nothing to complain about the food itself. But the service was super bad. We ordered drinks that simply didn't arrive, or didn't arrive until much later. The staff ignored us or did nothing about it. They weren't even large orders either, so I don't understand why it took so long

Nice restaurant and I like the food. The menu is not very extensive and there are certainly better sushi restaurants, but I have still had a really good meal there every time. They just have a very strange all-you-can-eat concept. After 6 rounds you can no longer order via the tablet. Not even if you still have more than half an hour of the 2 hours left and not even if there were rounds in which you ordered less than the maximum number of dishes. This is NOT indicated ANYWHERE. So if you still want to order after 6 rounds, you have to call a waiter to the table every time to take your order. I don't think I would choose Sake again anytime soon.

Used to go here more frequently but with the new owner the quality has dropped significantly. Most of the greens had frostbite, the edamame was served partially frozen and many of the sauces felt stale. The food is served super quickly after ordering on the tablet which also gives me the impression that its just laying there waiting to get served. It did taste like half of our order had been laying there for hours…

Lunch is available at Sake from 1 p.m. The heating has only just been turned on, so dress warmly. It is terribly cold there in winter. It is really unpleasant for your hands and legs, the cold wind passes by. The sushi is also ice cold, which takes away the taste. I don't have the impression that the food is freshly prepared. It didn't taste like fresh sushi and the mouse had a layer on it that is caused when it has been sitting for a while. I read that this is someone's best place for sushi. For the price I say: it is fun to do. But the tastiest? No, that's not my opinion. I know a better sushi restaurant.

Friendly owners and fast service. Cheaper than other sushi restaurants and yet the quality is absolutely no less. We like to eat out but keep coming back here. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are also larger than at other sushi and grill restaurants. Sake is definitely recommended!

Vandaag heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Sake. Alles was zalig. De bediening was vlot en de mensen waren aardig. Minpuntje de pudding toetjes vind ik persoonlijk niet zo lekker. Smaakte beetje chemische. Laat mensen gewoon kiezen uit een bolletje ijs.

I know exactly what to expect at Sake, and it's still a good value for money. However there is room for improvement. In particular during this visit I was extremely cold next to the window, some dishes were cold when they should have been room temperature, and the size of some portions has decreased. Still, I happily come here once in a while and would still recommend it as a good AYCE sushi restaurant.

Went with my friend to have our monthly time, spend 3.5 hours here, even though we were at the side of 2 hours all you can eat. We took our time, drink some, order some and love every single dish. Service was alert, helpful and friendly. Even our time was over we could enjoy a desert and got also advised. Nice and relax restaurant to go back again.
