Ordered something that looked NOTHING like the menu. No veggies, no effort — just overcooked noodles and some sad, wilted parsley that were half-dead.The dish looked unappetizing and was not worth the money. Reached out, and all they could offer was 20% off a next order? After this experience? No thanks. Poor quality and poor customer service. Never ordering here again!

It may not look much from the outside, but this is one of the best sushi places we've tried in Amsterdam. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh and tasty. If you fancy sushi today, then you should pop in at this sushi bar.

The meat in the soup came in identically sized chunks - almost certainly frozen and straight out of a plastic pack. Definitely not freshly prepared. Served alongside were bland, and inedible sushi. This place puts zero effort or care into their food. I wouldn’t order from here again under any circumstance.

Ordered sushi via Uber Eats. Sorted by fast delivery, it said within 30 minutes. Waited more than 2 and a half hours!!! OUTRAGEOUS!! No message or anything like that. Sushi also poorly rolled (fell apart). See you never again!

Sushis are fresh and excellent, the staff is lovely and remembers you. I recommend this place 100% Being used to ordering there, just before moving (to finish in style) we let them choose which sushi to put in our last order, which they did successfully by making us a superb platter according to our tastes. A big thank you to this warm team that we will not forget so soon 🫶🏼

I originally came across this shop by chance, the evening after I moved to Amsterdam I was able to have sushi delivered, then for10 months I went almost every week to get my sushi here. They are very good, fresh and the team is really very nice. I knew this place only for takeaway but I saw it evolve and become more and more friendly to welcome people on site. I really recommend this place, you can go there with confidence. thank you for making my experience in amsterdam better 🫶🏻✨

Worst Sushi experience in Amsterdam, I’ve order two boxes of sushi and they had really no taste. The sashimi literally has a weird texture in your mouth and you could see it was not fresh, so very disgusting to eat. I usually never write review as this one, but this time I was very disappointed. If I could give 0, I would for sure.

After ordering “budget” sushi via Uber eats for months, I now ordered Sakura twice. We are really happy that we found them! The sushi is delicious! Well filled rolls and good size. Fish tastes very fresh, and finally good wasabi and ginger. Today I very sweetly received a free dessert (fried meatballs; the tastiest thing I have ever eaten fried). We also had to wait quite a long time for the first order, but not today. I personally find quality and service more important than speed, so I recommend them!

After more than an hour I called again to ask where the order was (I live nearby). It is said that the delivery person is leaving the house at that moment. 20 minutes later I called to ask why it was taking so long (5 minutes cycling distance). The lady shouts that I am not the only customer to whom I say I will leave a review and hang up. A few minutes later I receive a call back from a lady who launches into a tirade; due to the 'threat' of the review, the order is canceled and the delivery person is called back. Incredibly unprofessional treatment…. Yelling at your customers is a low point in my opinion. After consultation with her colleague, the sushi was delivered 2 hours after ordering. Sushi is okay but disappointing. I strongly recommend this store!

Amazing sushi!! Definitely the best one I’ve tried in Amsterdam yet, I really recommend the all menu, is really everything so delicious and made with passion and love. Shoutout to the gyozas and the salmon spicy hosomaki with very fresh salmon. My stomach is so happy with those!!!! I will have it again sooon, for sure. Thank you for this amazing sushi I just had today, so so good ❤️👏

The food was pretty tasty, the delivery was fast and accompanied by the kind service of the delivery guy that made sure to deliver still warm food. Gyoza's are my favorite and I love to get them from this guy's that clearly put love and passion in their job, but I'd suggest you to try their homemade Oliebollen, best I've ever had.

Vaak hier besteld en wederom weer wat lekkers ontvangen. Duur van bezorging is afhankelijk van de drukte. Hier vind je de sushi’s dat net wat anders zijn dan dat andere tenten serveren. Ook zijn de sushi’s niet overdreven vol gestopt met alleen maar rijst, maar juist in een goede verhouding.

I recently visited a local sushi restaurant and was blown away by their eel sushi. Great quality sushi, flavorful chicken pho that came with all the typical toppings and sauces (hoisin, lemon, cilantro, sriracha), and Oreo stuffed ollie bol! Took over 1 hour for the food to be delivered but it was worth the wait!

Gisterenavond mogen proeven van deze kwalitatief goeie sushi. Het was een feestje en alle ingrediënten waren heel erg vers. Veel verschillende sushi’s. Mega aanrader, als je van goeie sushi houdt!

We have been ordering from Sushi Sakura for the past couple of years and it has become our favorite sushi place! When I was pregnant, I once asked them to pack the cooked sushi separately, and they continued to do that everytime I ordered cooked sushi for the remainder of my pregnancy without me asking again. Once I gave birth, this was the meal I chose on our first night home from the hospital. The driver is also very sweet, and it nice chatting with him when he brings by our order. Highly recommend!

Great quality and amazing service! They always consider the food allergies I write in the order notes and even call to double check when I forget to write them. I've definitely become a loyal customer & totally recommend.
