The food was delicious, for a good price. The atmosphere was cozy, with a delicious shot on the house afterwards.

Unfortunately, we were told there was no pizza. Unfortunately, after waiting an hour and a half for our pasta, we saw that many customers were picking up pizzas. That was odd. Nevertheless, the pasta was great.

Ate here again last night. It was simply fantastic! When we are moored in Zeewolde with the boat, we always eat here. For us, that isn't even a question, but a matter of course. Is there nothing to complain about then? Well, uh, actually not, except that it is TOO delicious.😄😄😄

We had excellent Italian food here; the quality served here is top-notch! Sometimes it can get very busy, which is a good sign and means you might have to wait a bit longer, but we experienced firsthand how delicious food can make up for everything! Because we have our boat moored here, we also pick up food frequently, and every time we've had perfectly tasty food there too! Highly recommended!

The food is fine, but don't order extra ingredients for your pizza. I had a pizza for 13.50 but wanted arugula on it. They charge €2 on top of the original price for that arugula. That's two full bags of arugula at Albert Heijn 😂

We ate here for the first time and it was delicious! We enjoyed the food and the beautiful view of the harbor. The blonde girl who brought our sandwich and dessert was very friendly! I highly recommend it and would come again.

Not condescending at all... the weather was good and if I want a table outside I'll just wait, which is what I did.

Regarding the food: Appetizers were a bit small, but tasty. Main courses ranged from too small (at least the tortellini) to quite large. Lasagna and pizza/calzone were generous portions and very delicious. Service: Most waiters had limited English skills, and some food and drinks were forgotten. Otherwise, they were very friendly and attentive (frequently checking if we needed anything). Atmosphere: Sitting outside is a must when the weather is nice.

We ate at San Mario's last night. I had one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The dessert was also delicious and plentiful. The price-performance ratio is excellent for Zeewolde. The service was professional and very friendly. I'd gladly go back.

My impression of the restaurant: it was easy to find, there were a lot of customers. We were greeted with a smile, we chose a table (3 people), all the tables were dirty, the waitress came to wipe the table, which was already unpleasant (she wiped the table with a rag, scattering crumbs on us), after which the table was left greasy (dirty), wet. We had to move. We waited 10 minutes for the waiter to give us menus, then another 15 minutes for someone to take our order. A nice, cute guy in a blue shirt came up and took our order. They brought beer and cola (the beer was tasty, there was not enough cola). 20 minutes later they brought the order, the drinks had already been drunk (we were very hungry, 7:00 pm). About the food: everything is cooked deliciously and generously, if only not for the burnt meat, but it is still delicious (especially when you are hungry). The toilet is clean. They took the payment quickly and we left full. I recommend this restaurant, but With the amendments, be able to wipe tables, take orders faster, and prevent the cook from burning food 🍱. We later realized why it's worth playing the jar game; it's a distraction while you wait for food 😂😂😂. Hire more people. Good luck in business ❤️❤️❤️

Eaten here for the first time; I don't understand the 4.3 stars. Tasteless food. For both the starter and the main course, we were wished a pleasant meal without having cutlery. The bread rolls ordered beforehand arrived after the starter, with the comment: "sorry, they still needed to be baked." Friendly staff, but the price-quality ratio is severely substandard. As the evening progressed, the smell of frying from the kitchen dominated the restaurant. Upon returning home, we both made a hasty trip to the toilet. Yuck!

Highly recommended. We were a group of three without a reservation and were lucky enough to find a free table. It's best to reserve in advance to be on the safe side. The staff was very friendly. There's something for everyone on the menu, and the food was delicious. We can definitely recommend it. There was a bit of a wait between the appetizer and the main course, but the restaurant was completely full, so that's understandable. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening, and we'd gladly come back.

We didn't have a reservation, but they offered us a table. Passing by a few times, I noticed it was packed with people eating there. The food, atmosphere, and service were top-notch. A big plus is that when you order an appetizer, you get it first, then the rest. At any other restaurant, the food arrived all at once, which is unheard of. However, San Mario is excellent. Plus, if the only option with main courses is fries, it's "disgusting," but here you can get spaghetti, which is a wonderful option. Today I had delicious onion soup and ribeye, and on the second plate, ribs. Finger-licking good! 🤌👍👍

Absolutely fantastic! The pizzas and calzones at San Mario in Zeewolde are super tasty, fresh, well-topped, and just the way they should be. What really stood out to me was the amazing service. There were accidentally mushrooms on my pizza, but that was resolved immediately and very politely. Truly customer-friendly; you don't come across that very often anymore! Other pizzerias / restaurants could really learn a thing or two from this. We will definitely be coming back here more often!! The food is delicious and the people are great! We have eaten and ordered takeout here dozens of times and have never been disappointed. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly. There is also a cozy terrace by the water. I think the decor could be a bit more upscale; then they would get 5 stars for everything. Tip: Salmon lasagna, very tasty

We went for dinner on Saturday night as regulars, made our reservations, and panicked upon arrival: there was no room! We were finally given a table for 4, just the two of us. We were seated at 6:00 PM, and were quickly told we had to hurry up because our table had to be freed for the next customer. "Do you already know what you want to eat? 3 or 4 times," the food is delicious, but we've never been looked down upon by the staff and owner in this way. It's a shame, but we won't be eating here again 🥘!! Shame on you! FYI, there were no tables for 2 left, so we either had to leave or take the table for 4. As we were leaving, we saw two people already walking towards our table. They were told, "Just 5 more minutes and the table we were at would be free!" We hadn't even paid yet.

Delicious pizzas, and the pasta arabiatia and vegetarian melanzane are also recommended. Regarding the pizzas: delicious sauce, a good amount of toppings. Unfortunately, upon delivery, the crust is often a bit soft (perhaps because the pizza softens after a while in a sealed box?) and a bit salty, hence the 5-star rating. But definitely the best pizza in Zeewolde.

Upon arrival, we were immediately shown to a table where we had to wait quite a while before someone came to ask if we wanted the menu and something to drink. After receiving the menu, it took quite a while before anyone came to take our order. We placed our order and also ordered a bottle of wine to go with our meal. The appetizer arrived, but no wine. The main course arrived, and still no wine. We were a bit disappointed. People who arrived shortly after us were helped immediately. We didn't feel seen.

After almost two years of eating at our favorite restaurant almost every week! A well-deserved review! I was reading through the reviews and what a bunch of "whiners" you sometimes find there...people who don't understand busy times and have to wait a bit longer, and whine about the staff occasionally bringing drinks, yuck! A well-deserved 5 stars here anyway! The food is always delicious! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is polite and competent, and the prices are nice and reasonable... and yes, when it's busy, you sometimes have to wait a bit longer for your food, just like at any restaurant! And yes, mistakes happen sometimes; these are people who are passionately preparing your food! My girlfriend and I were there together, she ordered lasagne, I ordered medium rare ribeye with potatoes. The lasagne was excellent, hot and there was enough of everything in it. The ribeye was already cold. There were not enough straws and pepper shakers on the tables. The sun was also shining in our eyes, but they did not raise the umbrellas, although they were raised in the neighboring establishment Lux. But overall I can recommend going, a large selection of menu

Hello, we arrived at San Mario on July 27, 2025, as vacationers, and we were very happy to have ended up here. The spare ribs and all the trimmings were fantastic. The atmosphere was fantastic, and everything was very clean. The service was very friendly and helpful, even with language difficulties. I can unconditionally recommend San Mario. The value for money was also simply excellent. Best regards.

On Tuesday, August 19th, we arrived at 5:30 PM to sit on the terrace for dinner. It was still quiet, and we ordered a starter and a main course. The starter was promptly delivered, and it tasted delicious, making us eager for the main course. Unfortunately, we never got to enjoy it. After waiting an hour, we asked if it would be much longer. It turned out the kitchen hadn't even started preparing our main course yet, and that it would be at least another 30 minutes. Meanwhile, we saw that guests who had arrived later than us were already being served their food. Because we had a 5-month-old baby with us, we unfortunately couldn't wait any longer and were forced to leave. To our disappointment, we had to pay the full price for what we had already eaten. What a shame, this wasn't a pleasant experience.

Edit: The last pizza was delicious again, and when ordering pasta for delivery, I added the note "please low salt." This seems to help, because it was already much better! 😃 It's a restaurant we really enjoyed and often order delivery. Lately, all the dishes I've had have been way too salty. I don't know what happened, but I'm giving up. I've mentioned it countless times. Such a shame; it was a real favorite.

Delicious, good atmosphere, nice location.

Sat on the terrace by the water. The food was very good, but the service is a mess. Teenagers don't really know how to handle things. Our table was dirty from the previous guests, we had no cutlery when the food arrived, some guests had to wait a very long time. The hostess was grumbling about her staff. You could feel the tension. Too bad!

On command, our wishes were taken by a member of staff. There was no friendly word. If we thought about her command for 3 seconds, she repeated it again with the same words and tone. The food was also disappointing. What used to be a delicious gorgonzola sauce over a tender piece of meat (a dream dish) was now a flour porridge with a little gorgonzola flavor. The meat was also, in our opinion, an ordinary schnitzel instead of veal oyster. The pizza Calzone-cheese was delicious. All in all, no longer our favorite Italian in Zeewolde.

Delicious pizzas. The pizza margherita's cheese tasted delicious. The pizza salami was a bit disappointing, we had the idea that the cheapest supermarket salami was used for this, very salty. The pizza di parma on the other hand... so delicious. Very soft parma ham, delicious toppings! The tastiest ever!

Cozy place in Zeewolde where you can eat excellently with a group of people. Staff is friendly, atmosphere among colleagues seems to be good. However, I find it very unprofessional that one of the employees, the owner herself, drank several wines behind the bar, while she was helping customers, may expect some professionalism in that.

Our favorite place for Italian. The pizzas are great and generously topped, but the meat, fish and pasta dishes are also really great! The location at the harbor gives a holiday feeling. Four of us went to this restaurant on our vacation. The food tastes excellent and the ambience is wonderful too. We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the water. When we finished eating we were offered dessert. We also ordered some of these, but the negative thing was that we had to wait about 30 minutes for them. Since the food was very good, we found this to be a real shame as it brought down our experience. Otherwise the service was very nice. I would like to go there again on my next vacation and hope for improvement.

The food was good. The store was packed. Unfortunately the service was overwhelmed. A waitress was sick/canceled.

Horrible place, we came here in the hope of eating a good pizza and having a good time. They put us at a dirty table, not a problem since it was very busy. We had to ask them to come clean the table since no one was coming. Then we ordered drinks but my husband had a trace of lipstick on his glass. So we asked one of the waiter who seemed completely lost and had no idea of what was happening. He took the glass but never brought another one. I asked what were the options for the children, they had no idea and said they would ask. They never came back. Then we waited forever to be able to order, we asked several times, they always said to wait, so in the end we just had to give up. We have a toddler and she only has so much patience. It was the first time we were taking some quality time at a restaurant as a family, and they completely ruined it. I used to order pizzas there for pickup, I will never order again, they upsetted me too much.

Excellent Italian restaurant on the Raadhuisplein and with a view over the harbor in Zeewolde. The menu is varied, with pizzas, pasta dishes, but also grill dishes. Staff are friendly and hospitable. In addition to the restaurant, they also have a beautiful large terrace (ideal for a nice drink).
