A great sushi concept. The restaurant offers an "all-you-can-eat" menu that's divided into four courses. You fill out a form with your choices, and they're served to your table in record time. As big eaters, we still didn't make it to the fourth course. The sushi isn't prepared in front of you, but it's fresh and tasty. The other dishes are equally delicious. The all-you-can-eat menu costs approximately €35 per person on weekdays.

I've lost count of the number of times we've been there, but I also know we'll be back again and again. We love the concept and the food is really good. The service is top-notch and the staff is always welcoming 🙂

Sushi Smaakloos, kippenvlees smaakt naar varkensvlees. Crunchy is niet crunchy Ben veel sushi gewent. Dit was onvoldoende wat betreft smaak en consistentie , en alleen daarom al veel te prijzig. Edame boontjes ongepeld en ook smaakloos. Mijn vriendin heeft een gang van 5 besteld en slechts vier gegeten, kippenvlees wat smaakte naar varkensvlees kreeg ze niet door haar keel. Ik bestelde nog een tweede ronde, echter ook smaakloos. Beide een klein potje thee, kosten 80 euro. Ik wil daar nooit meer heen.

It's a shame. The interior is actually nice, but we haven't had such a bad meal in the last five years. The hygiene in the restrooms is abysmal—absolutely unacceptable! I don't usually judge subpar food, but this "overall package" was even worse. The service was very friendly, and they even asked what was going on. Sorry for this poor review. The food here is amazing, also the location! You can bring your friends who don't like sushi here, since they have all kinds of japanese food!

The two of us were here on Valentine's Day, they had decorated the restaurant nicely for this occasion. It is of course an all-you-can-eat concept. You could order plenty of different dishes each round. They have all kinds of Asian snacks here, from sushi and Sashimi to sweet and sour prawns and teriyaki beef tips. The dishes were on the table quickly and the staff was friendly. After paying, our friendly waiter allowed us to take home a set of balloons, which was also nice!

Contrary to the review below, my partner and I are very satisfied with our evening at Sashimi. The food was great and the cocktails were also great! Despite the Saturday crowds, we always had to wait a maximum of 10-15 minutes for our food. The staff was extremely friendly, even if they didn't speak Dutch. We will definitely come back! - This from a restaurant manager with 2 businesses ;)

Despite what I read in previous reviews, I cannot give less than 5 stars. The atmosphere is great, the service is polite and the food is simply good. Sushi was good and wide choice. Staff speaks Dutch or English and was polite. We had to wait at most 15 minutes between rounds. We had to wait 20 minutes for the cocktails, but they were really good. So definitely worth the wait. Will we come back? Most definitely!

I don’t like to leave negative reviews but the service here was really a dealbreaker for me and my friends… good food but the evening service was really awful, condescending waitress and it ruined a part of the experience for us. I myself work as a waitress and would never even imagine treating customers like this

Had a very bad experience. Last Saturday. Food that was really bad. Chicken undercooked. Sushi not good / spoiled. Bad service from the staff, always the wrong dish. Received dishes that didn't look like they were on the menu!

Ordered sushi ngiri and maki. The spoiled fish could be smelled immediately upon opening. Luckily it was limited to the lemur. But that doesn't make the rest appetizing. That someone let this out the door. Scandalous. You can smell that yourself or you don't care.

Very nice place. Good food. The photo of the menu in the reviews dates back to 6 years ago. Now the prices have changed. For a dinner with an average beer you spend €40. Let's say that for the same amount or less you can get an excellent oriental dinner in other places by ordering à la carte.

Hier kan je prima eten. Aardige gastvrouw. Je mag 2,5 uur eten. Dat is echt meer dan genoeg. De bestelling wordt vlot geleverd. Keurige zaak. Aanrader!

The food was good but not exceptional, sake flambe was very nice. Udon noodles were thick and the texture was very good but there were almost no vegetables in it, same for the vegetable soup. There was a very off-putting smell in the whole restaurant, we couldn't figure out what it is.

De slechtste all u can eat die ik ooit heb bezocht. Zodanig slecht dat ik niet meer dan 2 rondes heb besteld. Mijn partner probeerde nog een derde ronde omdat die het zonde vond voor het geld maar ook die haakte af na een derde x bestellen. Ik heb nog nooit meegemaakt dat er geen enkel gerecht was op de al beperkte kaart dat ook maar een beetje te eten was. Ik denk dat dit 1 van de slechtste restaurants is waar ik ooit geweest ben en ben op veel plekken geweest.

Voor ons het beste sushi restaurant van Maastricht. Wij komen hier minimaal 2x per maand om te genieten van de lekkerste gerechten. Alles prima in orde en vers gemaakt! Voor mij worden hier DE beste inktvisringen gemaakt, deze worden gefrituurd met panko meel. Beter dan die vieze dikke brooddeeg waar de meeste restaurants ze in bakken!! Eigenaresse is altijd even vriendelijk! Sommige van de bediening is Engelstalig. Voor ons een dikke 10👍👍

The food is very tasty and at the right temperature. I ate All You Can Eat and the Temaki was very tasty, the seaweed was fresh and crispy (you don't have to pull it to eat it, because it's fresh). The Gyu Niku was very tasty, juicy and very hot (ideal). The Flambéed Salmon is my favorite and it was amazing, the piece of salmon is big and delicious !! The fried chicken was also very good, it's super tasty, dry and tender, and doesn't weigh down the stomach, and the accompanying sauce was also very good. Although the order wasn't digital, I didn't have any problems when ordering. All the waiters are very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is very cute and cozy, with background music at the ideal volume for chatting and eating without stress.

Great and delicious sushi! Ideal for ordering via Uber Eats. Ordered several times and always absolutely delicious and fresh. Definitely a top address for fresh sushi! Definitely recommended! Price/performance ratio a bit expensive but absolutely within the range for fresh sushi!

Amazing food, brilliant atmosphere. Large group of 10 people, easily accommodated and seated round table, giving an extra social element to the dinner. All dishes were excellent and this encouraged us to experiment a little.

All you can eat concept with a nice atmosphere and attentive staff with a warm attitude. Also, a la carte options available. There are gluten-free options on the menu and the staff is knowledgeable. The location is good. Prices are very low when you think of the quality and the amount you can eat. Weekend prices differ for the all-you-can-eat.

There's rarely dissapointment served at Sashimi. Sushi is tasty and the atmosphere is warm, ideal for a family and friends get-together. With all you can eat, it takes a while for the very first order to arrive and sometimes the orders get mixed up. The staff waiting tables are quite young and a bit unexperienced. But that's the price you pay of course if you want to eat sushi without emptying your pockets. Sure, there are better bang for your buck places, but Sashimi being at the heart of Maastricht has won mine.

Went for lunch. Food arrived quickly after each order, attentive service. It would have been easier if it was digital instead of having to write on paper every time, because if the waiters don't notice, you have to wait until they come to get your order. It went fast though. Food was decent for the price range.(sushi wouldn't be the same level as à la carte in japanese restaurants, but they are not bad).

Had a great experience there last week. Lots of food homemade - including the squid rings and ebi tempura (which often in restaurants appears wholesale-bought). Everything tasted great! Service was fine :) Highly recommend!

Made a telephone reservation at the last minute for 7 people, 1 of whom had to eat gluten-free. Gluten-free was no problem, but it was not possible to order everything on the menu. This was no problem at all... everything was very well taken care of, with a separate order list where only the gluten-free items were listed, all very clear. The food was very good and the atmosphere very cozy. The gluten-free products were served separately on a tray to prevent cross-contamination. In short, everyone had a good and delicious meal! Definitely worth repeating, even with a gluten-free diet!

Very limited choice of sushi and also tasteless. Service is very busy, which means it takes a long time and because they are so busy they don't have time for their customers. We ended up leaving earlier and were given a drink from the company as compensation

Too long time waiting just for first round we wait for more then 40 min in not bussy restaurant and warm vatiations of food was delivered on the table almost cold. Service was relative friendly just need lot signals to get to you. Would be nice if they have more options of food and ice cream. I was really dissapointed from this visit.

Al ruim 10 jaar mijn favoriete sushirestaurant

De Sushi was vies. De rijst leek oud en al de hele dag gelegen te hebben. Geen enkel gerecht smaakte lekker. De inktvis leek bedorven en mijn vrouw is er ziek van geweest. Het personeel is bars. Wij eten vaak sushi en weten echt wel wat te verwachten, dit hadden we nog nooit meegemaakt. Positieve noot: we zijn na de eerste ronde vertrokken en hebben aangegeven dat de sushi niet aan onze verwachtingen voldeed, waarna we alleen het drinken hoefden te betalen. Geen aanrader.

Super lekker eten. Beef teriyaki was erg mals. 5 keuzes p.p per ronde. Achteraf kun je nog keuze maken uit verschillende soorten ijs. De witte wijn uit Italië is een echte aanrader bij het eten.

Blijft het lekkerste sushi restaurant van de omgeving.

Hier gaan eten, omdat ik zag dat ze rekening konden houden met een glutenvrij dieet. We hadden niet gereserveerd (op een maandag), maar er was nog plek. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en snel. Lekker gegeten! En ook heel goed rekening gehouden met gluten!
