I bought shredded phyllo dough dessert and it was delicious. The children bought strawberry Dubai dessert. That was also very good.

Tasty place! Desserts are top notch. Very nice cafe if you crave for something sweet.

The desserts are tasty; there is nothing to complain about there. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the customer service. I asked if it was possible to add some fresh strawberries to my chocolate dessert. I also indicated that I was willing to pay extra for that. Even though it is strawberry season and there were several desserts with fresh strawberries on the menu, the staff said this was not possible. To be honest, I found that very disappointing. A little flexibility would have made the experience much more pleasant.

The warm dessert was cold by the time we could eat it. January: Portions are big enough to share! Tea could have been fresher. Deserts are to die for. Sahlep is the best! Thank you!

I bought a kilo of baklava, and there weren't even 100 grams of pistachios in that kilo.

I have absolutely nothing to say about the taste. They make the best baklava in the Netherlands. However, they have serious shortcomings in service. Despite being warned multiple times by the restaurant manager or owner, the staff serving were more concerned with chatting amongst themselves than serving. Also, when we went at 2 PM, they didn't have many of the baklava varieties. Their explanation was that they were very busy the day before. This is a rather strange explanation for a business of this size and scale; they should be prepared for such situations. In conclusion, although it was a somewhat negative experience, thank you for your success in terms of taste.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic pastry shop! The desserts were fresh, delicious, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth!

They make you wait 10 hours for service, and when there's a problem with the service, they don't tell you and make you wait even longer.

We stood in line for 40 minutes for a seat on the terrace, only to ultimately not be served because the terrace was closing (guests who were already seated were still served). A waiter who saw that we had waited a long time and still wanted to serve us was interrupted and harassed by his colleague and eventually gave us a spot inside. We only received our desserts after 20 minutes, two of which were not served. Serifoglu has already gone downhill and is very mediocre, but this was the last straw; never again Serifoglu.

Sister Ayşe was the most cheerful, hardworking, and excellent employee; she took care of me personally.

Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing last time. The food was very greasy and the menu is unfortunately less extensive than before. There was no honey, the cheeses were dry, and the taste was practically nonexistent. The soup was served cold and the portion was very small. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. Not recommended.

I ate lukewarm künefe for the first time at the Şerifoğlu Rotterdam branch. Actually, one star is too much, but there's nothing I can do about it. The service also deserves one star; there's no need to write extensively about the waiter. This was my first and last visit.

Today I thoroughly enjoyed a dessert at şerifoğlu.

We ordered künefe (a type of Turkish dessert), and it arrived. They brought the spoons and forks 20 minutes after the künefe. The künefe was cold. Don't forget to turn on the light on the table, otherwise they won't pay attention. We placed the same order three times, but they couldn't take it. In the end, they brought it incomplete again.

I visited this café this afternoon. It wasn't busy at the time, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Upon entering, no welcome was given, nor was it indicated whether we could choose our own seats. This immediately created a somewhat uncomfortable first impression. We then sat outside and waited for quite some time, but no one came to take our order. Eventually, we walked inside ourselves to ask if we perhaps had to order inside. There, we were told that the wait staff comes to the table to take orders. Unfortunately, we had to wait again after that. I understand that it can sometimes be busy, but in this case, that was not the case. A little attention to guests and clear communication would significantly improve the experience. It is a shame, because the service was the reason this visit was very disappointing for us.

Very disappointing experience. We arrived about half an hour before closing time, while the café was still open. Yet, we were no longer served. What made it even more annoying was that other customers were still being helped and were able to place orders at that very moment. If a business decides to stop accepting new orders, that should apply to everyone and be clearly communicated. The unequal treatment made us feel very unwelcome. Unfortunately, not a positive experience, and therefore we will not be returning here anytime soon.

We ordered dessert at Serifoglu, which wasn't fresh at all. When we politely gave feedback, we were sent away and told we weren't welcome anymore. Then three men surrounded us and addressed us, as women, in a disrespectful and intimidating manner. Very unprofessional and unsafe. We will never return.

I don't really know what to write, other than the fact that you have to go inside to pay—whereas, as is customary, the staff usually comes to the guest to collect the payment. For this reason, the service unfortunately only received 4 stars from me.

We ordered İzmir bombası (a type of pastry), but it was nothing like that; we ate a thick dought filled with chocolate. We also ordered other desserts, which were okay and good. Regarding the staff, when we went to the cashier, a woman came and didn't know the prices; she had no idea what anything cost. Then another woman came, we placed our orders, and she left without saying anything. Then a gentleman came, and we had to repeat our orders. It was a very absurd experience.

The food is okay. The service is okay. But if you're looking for a relaxed meal, you definitely shouldn't go there. The music is way too loud. You can't even hold a conversation while dining. I reported this to the staff. I was there again recently and the music was still way too loud. Do something about this. It is not recommended for a relaxed dinner. I definitely do not recommend it.

We loved it! This is an extremly nice place where to go when you miss Turkey and turkish dessert. The menu offers a lot of choice between different flavors of baklava, trilece, kunafe... We ordered different things and everything was tasting extremely good and fresh. The drinks and food arrived very fast. We could also sit in the outside terrace where the was music. The service was good considering how busy the place was. We will be back for sure!

I specifically ordered two trays of water börek (a type of pastry) because we were hosting a large group of guests before the holiday. I also confirmed my order by phone. I was supposed to pick up the products on the second day of the holiday at 9:00 AM. However, around 4:00 PM on the first day of the holiday, I received a call saying my order had been forwarded to the Amsterdam branch and would not be delivered. So, while people were preparing to host guests, they were told at the last minute, "Your order is gone." This level of lack of planning and irresponsibility is truly unacceptable. No one has the right to ruin people's plans on such special days. They have definitely caused great disappointment.

Wide selection of Turkish sweets & pastries. Unfortunately, the quality of the cake slices has deteriorated significantly; it tastes less fresh compared to before, so that's a shame :(

Ordered breakfast/lunch; after waiting 20 minutes, our entire table was full, but there was no bread or tea. Asked for bread 5 times within a 30-minute timeframe. The staff has a short memory; you ask something, and before they walk away, they’ve already forgotten your question. Nothing came; eventually, we were told that they were out of bread. What are you supposed to do with 10 spreads and a small pot of hot cheese if you don't get any bread? Very disappointing; I wasn't the only one, I heard a lot of people around me complaining!!! Very messy; they can't handle the crowds!!! I even asked for the manager, but he was only present in the evening 😔

Today (Sunday, May 10th, Mother's Day) we came here for breakfast. We do this regularly. Up until six months ago, everything was really well organized. However, the service has been very concerning in recent months. Today was a DISASTER!! Many people left angry and some even refused to pay (which I could understand, to be honest!). Partly because it was Mother's Day, it was quite busy. A young lady of no more than 18 tried to manage the organization. However, unfortunately, she was not very good at it. She herself was seriously grumpy and chaotic. The order of the orders was incorrect. The contents of the standard breakfast were wrong, but above all, the waiting times were SHAMEFULLY long!! We waited more than an hour for breakfast. In the meantime, I asked the staff (a few teenagers) several times if they would please bring our order. But to no avail. They were all grumpy and were very poorly directed by the young lady who was probably *their* team leader today. No one received compensation. You should have given people compensation in the form of a discount, or perhaps a pastry or something similar. Not even an apology. All in all, a dramatic start to our day. And to the days of many who thought they could have breakfast here today. Hopefully, they will read my review and do something about this in the future.

The terrace is always dirty: dirty tables and filthy ground. And I’m not talking about a few leaves on the ground, but about used toothpicks, napkins, and so on. Hygiene outside is just as important as inside. Additionally, I waited 20 minutes without service. Honestly, I don’t understand how this place can have a 4.3 score.

Had dessert at Serifoglu tonight; it's a shame to see that hygiene isn't taken seriously. For instance, the lady with the high black ponytail, wearing gloves, was rubbing both her eyes, then touching her face, and after that was cheerfully preparing desserts for the customers. Really gross..

I bought baklava today, and while eating the second slice, I felt a stone in my mouth, about half the size of a chickpea. The baklava had absorbed too much syrup. I've never had any problems when I've bought it in a tray before.

I mean, everyone wants to be bothered while eating. I didn't like it there.

Absolutely awful. What terrible service and atmosphere. A very long line. The only thing that tasted good was the pastries. The atmosphere is terrible downstairs next to the restroom. It smells bad too. If you're sent downstairs, keep that in mind. And say no. It will save you a lot of trouble. I've received the wrong order several times.

This morning, because it was New Year's Day, I went to the Şerifoğlu branch in Rotterdam to offer sweets to our guests from Germany. I specifically wanted fresh baklava. However, when we got home, we realized that both the baklava and the künefe were definitely not fresh. This was a huge disappointment for us. The second major disappointment was that there were almost no products in stock on such a busy day as New Year's. Having so little stock on such a special day is unacceptable. Also, the cashier was extremely inexperienced. I had to repeat my order three times, which unnecessarily prolonged the shopping process. Our guests had already arrived, and getting back to the store would have taken me 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back. Therefore, despite the products not being fresh, I didn't have the option to return what I bought. I am truly very upset about this experience, and it fell far short of my expectations. I am also sharing a photo of the receipt. Unfortunately, this visit was an extremely negative experience for me.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I thought Kivanc was a great, very professional employee, but you can't say the same for Tuana because she thinks she's a manager or something and is a 100% know-it-all. But the atmosphere was nice!

The baklava is without a doubt the best you'll find in the Netherlands. The quality and flavor are truly top-notch, and that's why you'll want to come back. The service could be a bit more professional and serious. The atmosphere is quite distinctly Turkish, which might not be to everyone's taste, especially given the retro feel of the place. On the plus side, it attracts a diverse crowd of people of all nationalities. With a little more attention to service and ambiance, this place would truly be complete.

The food is super delicious, especially the künefe is super delicious here at şerifoğlu, the service was perfect, especially Gizem and Dilay, they were super friendly and sociable with everyone, they brightened up the atmosphere and persuaded me and the people I was with to come and eat here more often, super good and definitely recommended!!!

A great spot for Turkish desserts with impressively fast service—though checkout can take a bit of time. We tried the regular baklava, halka tatlı, havuç dilim, hadise, midye, and şöbiyet. The halka tatlı was delightfully crispy and a standout for me, while the midye was a crowd favorite. The havuç dilim comes with a generous serving of ice cream, which was a nice touch. All the desserts were high-quality and flavorful, not overly sugary, for an average price. The only downside was the tea—it tasted like it had been sitting too long after brewing and could be improved. The outdoor seating area is cozy, with heating provided, and the waiter was exceptionally kind, explaining each dessert and offering great recommendations. With so many Turkish and international options left to try, I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

It was my first time visiting this place. The venue looked clean and nice. When we ordered gözleme, we weren’t asked whether we wanted it spicy, and one of them came very spicy, but when we mentioned it, they did replace it. I was especially surprised about the water. In many cafés in the Netherlands, water is usually offered for free without even asking, but here it was charged and even more expensive than tea. We also asked to split the bill between two people, but were told that they always take payment from one person only and that guests should sort it out among themselves. No alternative was offered. I find it hard to understand this kind of practice in such a centrally located place in the Netherlands. I hope this will be improved soon.
