SHABU to go Delft in Wijk 11 Binnenstad

The food was already very bland this time and clearly not of the quality we had come to expect from Shabu Shabu. But the worst came during the meal: we encountered something that looks like a human fingernail. Clear photos of this were taken. This is truly unacceptable to me. With food that is prepared professionally, you should be able to trust that the work is done hygienically and carefully. That trust is completely gone after this experience. I have since filed an official complaint and requested a full refund and a serious investigation into how this could have ended up in our order and who was responsible for the preparation at that time. For me, this is no longer about taste or a disappointing order, but about food safety and hygiene. I therefore expect a substantive response and an appropriate solution, not a standard reply or a discount voucher. Until it is clear exactly what happened here, I would personally not order from here again.

Fast and reliable delivery. The sushi and finger foods are good and excellent value for money.

Waited 2.5 hours for a “box for one” and edamame. Called after 1 hour and 15 minutes, and was told that there were few delivery drivers and that the driver would come to me first. Called again after 2 hours because the tracking stated that the order had already been delivered, even though that was not the case. Then I was told again that the driver was “on the way.” I called a third time. In the end, I waited 2 hours and 45 minutes without any clear explanation or accountability. No refund, no discount, no form of compensation whatsoever. This is truly unacceptable and very disappointing.

Don't know if they work hygienically here... have had a stomach ache for 2 days. The food was tasty, but I actually never have trouble with sushi. I do worry though. It tasted fresh, so it wasn't the taste, just doubt about the hygiene now :-( And if someone orders for 40+ euros, you could just give them ginger for free. A bit stingy... really typical of the Netherlands. In other countries, you just get everything included. In the Netherlands, you have to ask for everything that should be a given :-(

2 bowls waited 1.5 hours, called the branch in Delft several times but the phone was not answered, sesame sauce forgotten to be delivered so bowl was dry and bland

Shabu To Go was always my favorite sushi delivery service in Delft. But after this order? Never again. I always order individual sushi rolls, never a standard box, because I carefully choose my favorites. But what I got this time was a complete disappointment. Ice-cold sushi—even the flambéed salmon and eel! The rice was hard and dry, clearly indicating it was pre-prepared and straight from the refrigerator. Now for the side dishes… Crispy chicken thighs with Korean sauce? No sauce. At most, a few stray drops. Newly made satay? White, tasteless, and rubbery in texture. This wasn't the quality I'm used to from Shabu To Go. I sincerely hope I don't get sick from it, because I don't trust sushi that comes this cold from the refrigerator. Want to avoid disappointment? Don't order here!

I called because the yakitori tasted strange and looked white. They said it was new. I asked if I could have something else? The answer was no. Too bad you're expensive, and I won't even get my money back. I'll never order from here again!

The tuna on the sushi smelled, was tough, and tasted awful. After two pieces, we threw the rest of the tuna away, throwing over 20 euros in the trash. We also felt nauseous afterward.

I paid in cash and they didn't want to give me a receipt which I needed to reimburse the money for my work. Besides, I got home and none of the rolls were what I asked for.

Ordered via Uber. Then, after waiting 1.5 hours, I called and got the message that they were on their way. Then my food never arrived and they could not be reached. Unbelievable.

We have been regularly ordering Sushi from Shabu to go Delft for more than 3 years (so regularly that we are recognized by the staff, haha). Great service, always friendly and delicious 🍱 sushi!

Sushi was tasty where I found it a bit warm. It can be better.

Prima 🍣 sushi dus. En snel bezorgd. Het is ook onderdeel van een keten, maar dat zorgt vermoedelijk wel voor goede kwaliteit. Wij bestellen hier vaker een zijn nog niet teleurgesteld.

Gisteren besteld met veel moeite. Heerlijke sushi gegeten en via de site gemeld dat de betaling moeilijk verliep. Ik word net gebeld met excuses en uitleg. Dat vind ik echt super netjes!

Мені здається що це найсмачніші суші , які я куштувала в Нідерландах🤤🤤 Проте сервіс трохи храмає. Якщо ви плануєте їсти на природі уважно перегляньте чи поставили контейнери на соус,імбир та перевірте наявність паличок, бо можуть недоставити і прийдеться викручуватися 🫣

We kregen geen wasabi en sojasaus bij de bestelling

De sushi was erg lekker, alleen halfuur daarna hen ik hele erge last van mijn maag en buik gekregen. Tot nu toe dik 4 uur later nog steeds last van maag/buik. Ik moet telkens naar het toilet en ben erg misselijk. Ik bestelde altijd heel trouw bij shabu. Maar aangezien dit bij mij de 2e keer is dat dit gebeurd na het eten van shabu to go delft. Zal ik het helaas niet meer bij jullie bestellen.

De webpagina is vriendelijk, het personeel was aardig, het eten was op tijd klaar, de uiterlijk van het eten was mooi, en de bento box was lekker.

Werd super snel geholpen en het eten was ook snel klaar. En er was een leuke blonde medewerker (denk bezorger) die vroeg of we een waaier wilde, locatie delft de choorstraat, als je dit ooit ziet dm me 🤣😏😘

Heerlijke, goed gevulde pokebowls besteld. Was zelfs eerder geleverd dan aangegeven. Oftewel dit wordt ons nieuwe vaste adres voor sushi/bowls!

Een heerlijke sushi besteld. Kwaliteit was vers en goed. Lekker gegeten. Bezorging zou binnen een uur zijn. Na 35 minuten al aan de deur geleverd.

De sushi was niet lekker. Het smaakte flauw en saai.

Als je de echte Sushi wilt eten, dan moet je hier zijn. Goede service en lekkere eten, grote variantie nog erbij.

I had the bowl with the tuna. I don't remember the name on the menu, but it was really good. Good portion size too.

Super lekkere sushi. Verse producten en ze houden goed rekening met allergieën als je iets er niet in wil hebben. Heerlijk gegeten en optijd bezorgd!

It’s okay.. but lower quality than the expected for Shabu Shabu.

Met het huis voor de eerste keer sushi besteld bij Shabu. Vertraging van onze bestelling werd netjes doorgebeld. Bij aankomst werd echter duidelijk dat de geflambeerde zalm nigiri verkoold was en daardoor verbrand smaakte. Tijdens het daaropvolgende telefonisch contact met de vestiging werd herhaaldelijk benadrukt dat de hoogste kwaliteit wordt nagestreeft en dat een dergelijke situatie onwenselijk is. Over een oplossing kon echter niet worden gesproken. Spijtig, de rest van de sushi smaakte behoorlijk goed, maar op deze manier heeft die ook een nare bijsmaak. Een keer en nooit weer. Aanvulling (24/09/2019): de manager is heeft de moeite genomen om telefonisch navraag te doen naar het voorval. Het ging om een misverstand dat de volgende keer wordt rechtgetrokken. Een beetje mosterd naar de maaltijd maar desondanks een gewaardeerd gebaar. 3/5 en wellicht tot een volgende keer.

Moe thuisgekomen, wilde alleen een pokebowl. Was geen probleem! Goed en vriendelijk geholpen, snel bezorgd en overheerlijk. En meer dan genoeg. Ga zo door!

Nice quality of food and friendly staff, also quick service!

Had a teriyaki beef bowl. It was around 10euros Portion was huge. Food was nice.
