Delicious Food. Friendly Service!

I ate here with a Chinese friend who had previously raved about it, but this time it was a huge disappointment. It seems likely that the restaurant has changed owners who clearly don't want to or can't make an effort. - Many dishes and drinks are crossed out on the menu. It looks strange because of that. - The menu isn't even in Dutch, and the staff don't speak Dutch. They also make no effort to offer a warm welcome, which is to be expected in this price range. - The portions are quite small, despite the often cheap ingredients. - The restaurant looks worn, cluttered, and dirty. The cushion I sat on was even quite dirty. A shame, because it is (was) actually a nice place. - One of the dishes had a large metal shard in it. You read that right. This restaurant is not recommended!

Nice cocktail but nothing too extraordinary. Prices too high for the portion and quality imo. Nice service and chill atmosphere.

Inside style not a typical Chinese restaurants , it looks like a bar . But soup and dumplings are typical Chinese 😋

I love this restaurant. Food is like nothing you have ever seen. But there are alot of improvements needed; your staff is under trained and does not know how to handle situations. We asked for simple things; water, chopstick but it took too long to get delivered. At some point he said water ran out and then he didn't give alternative solution. In general the place does not seem clean. I went there as soon as it opened and the toilet was a mess. It seemed like it wasn't cleaned from the day before.

Excellent food and amazing cocktails! :D I would say it real Chinese food with creative combinations of modern style. Especially xiangxiang toufu and cross the sea! Definitely will come again!

The food took a long time to arrive (some of it never did) and it all came in weird order. Whatever of our order made it to us was very tasty but it was odd to have part of our group watch the other part eat. The side rice dish arrived separately (too late or too early to combine it with the main). The restaurant had cozy interior but no heating - first time I got to use chopsticks with mittens on 🤣 The staff was kind and tried their best but there wasn’t much they could do.

Lucky to get in without a reservation on a busy Saturday night, but I had to endure probably the coldest part of the restaurant. We started off with some pricey cocktails: Shandong Sling and Cross the Sea. Both were well made. Then came the snacks: cold five spices beef brisket, which were ok but we asked for some extra coriander to give it more taste. We loved the pork and onion bao buns, which were loaded with tasty chunks of pork. The five flower pork belly was also delicious, but the portion is a little too small for the price. For mains we had the spicy fried intestines and the black pepper beef. The beef was good, but nothing special. The fried intestines were also good, with lots of fried peppers. However I found it a little bland. I also think that the price for a dish with cheap ingredients is a little too high (intestines and peppers). I think our waitress worked really hard, with the rest of the crew relaxing behind the bar. That made the service also quite slow, and cause some orders (drinks) to be forgotten. If the place is aiming to be "chique" with high-end prices, then they should also monitor the cleanliness of the toilets (no soap, nothing to dry your hands). I would probably come back for the bao buns. All in all, a nice intro to the Northern Chinese cuisine. We paid €105 for 2 persons.

Een uniek Chinees restaurant. Authentieke gerechten aangevuld met een unieke cocktails. Wel duurder dan de reguliere Chin.Ind.Spec.Rest, maar het absoluut waard! Probeer vooral de fried spicy intestine!

Really nice and quality food, the staff always seem overwhelmed though and often we have had food arrive in stages that don't make sense. On two occasions rive was delivered once we were most done eating.

Een bar met verrassende cocktails, ze zijn lekker met een Chinese twist. Ook de snacks en gerechten zijn ook best authentiek en het proberen waard. We komen zeker een keer terug met vrienden!
