Shell in Zuid

The cashier spends his whole day on the phone, talking in his native language, and has zero respect for customers. Even when there's a line and you call him when he's behind, he won't come. He also poses like a slob when I tell him I'm going to file a complaint with his manager. This is the Netherlands, and here the customer is king.

On November 4th, we borrowed a grab and go container. Employee Mrs. E helped us excellently, although it was a new system for her too. It was strange to us that it was all done digitally, but the service was excellent. Only when returning it after two hours (we should have rented for the whole day) did something go wrong. Mrs. E received an important number and passed it on to a colleague, a kind lady, but she didn't know how to handle it. A man came to help her, at least she had to ask twice. She also got a snarky remark about how you should have paid attention and didn't have much time to help us. Ultimately, we agreed. She called "grab and go" to ask for a discount, even though the car was coming back within three hours. "Well, he knew enough," she said, "it's handled digitally, then threw down the laptop and walked out the door. He came back at the same speed, opened the cash drawer, and gave us €7, and the rest you get digitally." People, do something about this very unfriendly man who snapped at a colleague and didn't properly help a female customer. The man (AK will not mention his name) would benefit from a course in dealing with staff and customers. Sincerely, Shirly

Disgracefully bad service You're standing there waiting patiently, and they just look at you, then go back to what they're doing. No hello, no help, nothing. As if you're just air. What a lousy attitude. I'd rather drive all the way to Haan gas station than ever come here again.

Great car wash but the staff could be a bit more cheerful :)

It's a great car wash with friendly staff. It's just a shame if you're coming from the other side of Apeldoorn and arrive before 7 p.m., there's no one there. I asked at the gas station why the car wash is closed when it says it's open until 8 p.m.

I wanted to wash my car and arrived just before six, but the roller door was already closed. What a shame! I thought this car wash was open until six. Then I googled from my car for another car wash nearby, and at exactly 6:00 PM, I saw two staff members come out and lock the place up.

Friendly staff, always get quick help with anything, it's the same at other Shell stations, at least in Apeldoorn no one ever answers the phone.

LPG 20 cents per liter more expensive than along the highway.

Washing boxes have good (water) pressure, the Car Wash is a bit mediocre, especially with a bus. English employee is super friendly and actually hoses down the bus/car properly before you drive into the street.

There's a new employee from England, what a great guy. Take your time and spray the car thoroughly. You may not speak Dutch yet, but enthusiasm knows no language!

What a bleak sad car wash and vacuum area, car is not completely clean. On the vacuum area only half of the hoses are present, of the present hoses only one sucks. Do not bother to clean your car here, there are better alternatives in Apeldoorn

Complete shop, but pricey compared to most pumps in Apeldoorn, probably because of its location so close to the highway. Both laundry boxes and a car wash, and a Starbucks as neighbors.

Be treated very nicely. And everything clean.

Shell car wash. Bad service, scratches the car, the machines don't work even though I put money in and the car doesn't clean properly.

It's a bit of a shame that as a driver here you don't even get a cup of coffee when you refuel! I prefer to go to another pump where you get coffee or sometimes even a freshly made sandwich

Gasoline pump with about 6 DC fast chargers, between Starbucks and McDonald's. On the edge of Apeldoorn close to highways. Charging stations are immediately left after the driveway.

A very nice gas station to fill up. Enough pumps available, enough space (also for passage) and easily accessible from the highway.

Save yourself the trouble of washing your car with this poorly maintained, dilapidated 'wash' box. The brushes are so worn that they are barely a rake, it doesn't matter which spray program you press because shampoo doesn't come out. Oh and is it dusk or dark? Then you're out of luck because all the lighting doesn't work either. No, drive on to Bob's car wash and wash your car at a nice car wash for 7 euros (as long as you want!).

The car wash is very poor and the back side is not very clean, but the vacuuming is downright bad!! I've been here several times now, but the vacuuming is always poor, with little to no suction power! Don't come here again for car washing

I work there myself and enjoy it

Nice staff, good chill place for driving around the grounds in the evening. Good toilet facilities. It is better to skip the car wash, it does not clean your car, the wash boxes do not always work properly and are quite dirty.

car wash is now very short, you can't even go around the car once for 1 euro. vacuum cleaner location: broken hose on one side, had broken off from the suction nozzle, and no suction on the other side. So pretty worthless maintenance. And then that whole euro for air. All in all way too expensive.

Car wash is very bad. The tailgate, rear bumper, license plate and rims remain dirty. As if no brushes, etc., go over it. The manager indicates that I have to go through it again and then discuss with the staff to get my money back because the rear of the car and the rims are still dirty. Bit of a strange turn of events. It's better that they really solve it so that the car just comes out clean instead of these kinds of "solutions". This is really not worth the € 17.50. So this was once in a lifetime.

Cashiers regularly chat with each other when you are paying. So rude. But that suits Shell.

Today we rented a trailer again, which has always been a good experience. However, today we were spoken to in a rather blunt manner. We were asked to make a reservation from now on... but that was not all... we were urgently requested to return the trailer as quickly as possible. Now I always do that anyway, but I just pay for 24 hours' rent. The solution seems quite simple to me. Agree on an hourly rate OR don't complain.

Incredibly poorly maintained gas station. Dirty, dirty, too busy, barely cheaper than the highway and no active supervision of what is happening on site (read: things that cannot tolerate the light of day). No communication during work about accessibility/availability of fuels. Staff downright blunt and curt, absolutely not customer-oriented. A lot of nuisance from guests from other companies (including Starbucks next door, adjacent McDonalds and the associated parking behavior of these guests who do not have to be at Shell but do block the passage. Never visit again!!!

Always open. Lots of pumping. Almost always the same place. Reasonably priced for a manned gas station. Refueling during the day is recommended. There is a lot of unrest in the evenings. Not nice.

If you come to vacuum your car at 9:20 PM, the vacuum cleaners won't work! Man behind the counter says come back tomorrow! Away 1 euro......

Today, Sunday, May 22, a young man helped me a lot at the car wash, even though I chose the cheapest program, he took the time to thoroughly pre-wash the car!

The man behind the counter is not friendly at all, you don't feel welcome when you enter.

Car washed in the car wash with the €17.50 program. Unfortunately the back of the car was not completely clean. Still a shame for that money. Furthermore, the car and rims were neatly clean. Friendly help. I also noticed that gasoline prices for a manned shell station are low.

Spacious location with neat shop. The 'talking' information boards at the pump are a nice addition. The cashier was a completely different story; only looked up from her phone to scan the airline miles, and had no interest in the customers or surroundings at all, as if she was there as community service...

I come in at 9.56 pm for cigarettes. Sorry, he says, only sales for 9.50 pm, but you are still open. He says we are not allowed to sell them anymore, just fill up, then just close completely. What a company I say I will never go there again

Great service, great selection. Free toilets of much better quality than the average paid toilet at a pump. Big thumbs up for that! Car Wash doesn't quite deserve the beauty prize yet. Several times the rims were not clean at all and the windows had to be re-done.

You are not allowed to use a steel antenna in the car wash, unfortunately it is not listed anywhere, I still had to wash the car by hand! Cheaper, haha
