Shell in Breda west

My experience here was terrible. Extremely dirty. Dirty coffee machine. Please do not buy coffee here. And their salespeople are extraordinarily rude and unkempt.

The police arrived and started kicking us out. As far as I could tell, someone had called them and filed a complaint. Even though we were standing in the back and deliberately not taking up space for cars.

A Shell, you get petrol or something like that there; generally, the food is too expensive/mediocre or a dry snack. If that's what you expect, then it's good, right?

Needed to charge, but once again it didn't work like so often at Shell. So back to Fastnet again.

There's little room for trucks, and after 5 p.m., there's no chance of finding a spot. It's like that everywhere. As a result, drivers violate work and rest rules, work overtime, and then the police issue a fine for it. It's very profitable! Maybe we should create more space for trucks? Video surveillance? Then the driver will have the energy and nerves to work for you? Driver service is disrespectful here... Just look at France? Free toilets, showers, and water—think about it! In the future, I'd rather violate the driving rules even more than before, but I'll go where it's safe and the conditions are right for drivers! Shame on you!

What a great gas station. I am always very happy when I am here again. The atmosphere and surroundings are top-notch. It is an excellent meeting place for friends. What a pump……. Just a shame that pump 19 occasionally doesn't work!

I have a very unsettling feeling at this location, especially at night. The atmosphere makes me feel very unsafe, and it doesn't feel like there is any surveillance at all. For a border crossing, the surroundings are very grim, and I absolutely did not feel at ease here. During the day it is okay, but at night I would prefer to drive on.

It is convenient to go abroad or return to the Netherlands as a return trip!

The last station before the Belgian border. Well stocked. You can also grab something to eat or drink coffee. Overall, I had a pleasant impression.

I was at this gas station on Saturday afternoon (May 16). First, I visited the toilet; unfortunately, it wasn't very clean, and that for €1 🫣. Next, I bought a bottle of drink (paid for at the self-checkout) and got a snack from the vending machine for myself and my travel companions. Unfortunately, the machine was three-quarters empty! At 1:00 PM (lunchtime). With one of the snacks, I received a notification about a card payment error on the display, so I went to the regular checkout. Not a single employee was to be seen; they all turned out to be chatting, singing, etc., in the back. They saw me standing there but ignored me and just carried on. Eventually, one employee came over and finally grabbed the snack from the cabinet, which I was able to pay for at the regular checkout.

If I could give this review 0 stars, I would. On the night of May 14, 2026, to May 15, 2026, all the trucks had their tarps cut. Thank you for keeping the parking lot clean, and happy Ascension Day to everyone. I hope whoever cut the tarps is punished. I don't recommend parking here with any valuable cargo.

No soap in the toilets, and they charge €1 per use! I get a coffee at the Shell Café counter. I point out that there's no soap or sugar at the service point, and... they tell me to go somewhere else. The area is filthy, hygiene is beyond poor. The service is terrible.

It's very big, there are toilets but no showers. The showers are across the road, inside the Tokcel supermarket, for 5 Euros. Time is short, you can cross under the highway.

They are very good and friendly people, but you certainly wouldn't think of filling up the gas from there.

Why isn't there a shower at such a huge gas station? Drivers are stuck there for three days with nowhere to wash. Will the Netherlands really go broke if they charge for showers at gas stations? This is a complete asshole to treat drivers. Shame on you for this.

Paying €1 for toilets where you first have to wipe the piss from the seat of the person before you. Scandalous. I see in the reviews that this is reported time and time again. Clearly, you don't care. People will pay anyway. So you shouldn't be surprised if people prefer to do it outside for free.

Big gas station. The last one before crossing the border to Belgium. There is a Starbucks and McDonald's with a drivethrough.

There's decent parking, water, and a grocery store within an hour's walk. To avoid a long detour to the store, you can walk along the road to the bridge, climb the stairs, and then follow Google Maps. See the map for directions to the bridge (51.505312, 4.743240).

Pump 19 isn't working. I reported this to the employee (a woman with short hair) and asked her if it wouldn't be better to report it to the pump in question, but she didn't think it was necessary. Several people were experiencing this inconvenience and agreed with me. Then, the same employee was also very rude to my girlfriend at the checkout.

Come here every year for a stop heading south. Always satisfied until today. Never seen toilets so dirty... no toilet paper, towels and sinks dirty and full of water. For €1 (a lot more expensive than last year) you expect a bit more. Reported this to the staff and immediately received a very unfriendly response. Next time we will look for another stop.

I couldn't use the toilet or the shop at the gas station. Cash was not accepted and my type of card did not work either. So I couldn't use any services. There was also no one at the cash register to help.

Then it was my turn and then they started serving people who had come after me. My friend got angry and spoke to her. I would not recommend this station. First, you pay 0.80cts to use the restroom. Second, the employees do not use gloves to serve the food. I mentioned it because it really disgusts me (and it's freaking flu season!!!). The employees told me they wash their hands regularly. It's not their fault if management doesn't provide gloves but this needs to be addressed asap.

Too often, the Shell fast EV chargers do not work. They are not in trouble but will not charge. It wasn't until the 4th that my car started charging. At fastned it works right away. Too bad for you because that's where I'm going to load now. This is now the 3rd time in 2 months that this has happened to me.

Plus: large gas station Less: dirty toilets for which you have to pay 0.80 euros. If it cost 0.20 euros I still understand the price, but 0.80 euros. I read that other reviews also mention this. Do something with this feedback (further contact not necessary, best Shell gas station).

You need to pay 10cents for the cup that comes with a coffee served at the counter. That is fine when it is clearly displayed or if the cassier tells you while placing your order. But I only figured out when paying the numbers did not add up. It is not about the 10cents but about how I now perceive and feel fooled after you managed to squeeze that 10extra cents out of me without any agreement. It would be nicer if you could demonstrate you respect my free choice without sneaky tricks and value that I spend my money at your business. Added 2 stars for the response

Impossible to pay directly for gasoline + 1€ for toilets or the sinks do not work... to avoid.

Today before afternoon as a tourist group we had a toilet break at this station. The toilets were just suitable for paying with credit card. While my daughter were in there someone stole our credit card. At that time we couldn’t understand what really happened. After a few hours later we noticed that our card were missing. When we checked the credit card extras we saw that someone made 29.97 usd shopping for twice in 6 minutes.Then we called administr and suggested to check their camera records to find what happened on that time. But unfortunately they did not helped us. Also the satiton did not took any password for this kind of big payment. So also this company is responsible for this theft. This station is not safe for anything!!

While three of us were standing at the coffee machines to buy coffee, a young employee, without politely indicating whether she can refill the espresso beans, very arrogantly bends over the service screen and over our cup of lattes, which is also very unhygienic. and is very unfriendly.
