Thai spot is an absolute gem - the drinks were all delightful and we just kept going back to try more during our brief visit to Rotterdam

Good coffee. However, +90ct for non animal milk is crazy. I conclude that the owners buy very cheap cow milk. Please don‘t punish customers that care about the planet. Maybe buy organic milk, normal non namebrand milk alternatives and charge even prices.

Fantastic café in a prime location with carillon sounds and attentive service. When we asked about a fine "Royal Current" and the 120 Monin syrup specialties on the shelf, we received a comprehensive tasting with the best tips for our next mocktail and cocktail party at home :) All the syrup flavors available in Europe are available here in the most pleasant way! (Including the beautiful coffee cups 😅) Thanks for the nice chance visit!

Delicious coffee that is not so 'standard'. We had a tiramisu latte, cappuccino and dirty chai and all three were fantastic! The muffins were also delicious. Staff is also super friendly. Highly recommended!

Actually, it was a tiktok about the Monin syrups that brought us here, we had to go there once to taste them, because you have so many. Eventually we found your shop, somewhat hidden on the Grotekerkplein, and there were countless flavors available, which we could taste if desired. What we did not expect was that we had found the -for us- best "coffee shop" so far! How wonderful it is to relax and enjoy the delicious coffee specialties, and possibly a pastry with it! How nice to see that these kinds of places still exist! Not being run over by tourists, or only being helped in English, is now often a rarity. The enthusiasm with which you serve your guests, and how hospitably you are received is already fantastic. And that for normal prices. I can only say Chapeau! We will definitely come back!

The perfect place to get a drink! It is a cozy, charming and atmospheric place with a beautiful view. While enjoying a nice coffee or a drink you can talk to your friends, look outside or just sit on your phone. If you need a new coffee shop, I recommend you take a look here! It's worth it.

I have been ordering Monini Yuzu fruit puree and other products from Anouk and Euson for more than a year. Service, contact, quality, shipping is a 10 with an asterisk. I'm very happy to have found them. Here's to more years and hopefully one day in person in Rotterdam.

A really nice, kind of local wooden ambient. I was totally amazed by the kindness and help I received, when visiting the shop in order to buy some cocktail essentials. The person working there offered me to try everything I wanted and guided me to buy the best to my liking. The monin products are of excellent quality. I am looking forward to preparing my cocktails at home and will be back sure to sit in the nice sitting area to enjoy a drink.

We had very, very tasty coffee with syrup. We really enjoyed the tiramisu latte and latte with white chocolate and strawberry. The service was nice and we would love to come back!

One of the best mocca/mocha. Nice interior, although small. Limited dessert options but should not be an issue. Great mini chocolate chip cookies served with (warm) drinks. Prices are around 1 euro higher than average.

If you are looking for a really special shop with special drinks, you have come to the right place. Crazy but also “normal” variations, very nice service, very tasty drinks and the endless number of Monin syrups are impressive. We highly recommend an espresso tonic drink, the courage to order it will be worth it 😄

We had 2 lemonades and the choice of flavors was endless, we had pineapple (beach walk) and coconut (blue cloud) you could choose still or sparkling. Drinks were fantastic, service even better! The man who helped us was very friendly, took our to go order and clearly indicated that it would take a while because he thought we were going to sit down for a while. He made us pay for only 1 drink while the waiting time at other tents is the same or longer. We will definitely come back!!!

I came here on Friday morning to buy syrup from monin. They have an extensive range. I received tips and advice and was able to relax on their terrace with coffee and cannoli.

After seeing nice videos on social media, we visited Sherlock's Place today. Small-scale business with friendly staff, you immediately feel welcome. They have an extremely wide range of Monin syrups, there is something for everyone. They are happy to think along with you so that they can give you the best advice. Definitely recommended!

I always enjoy coming here and I like to be surprised by the Barista because the menu makes my choice stressful 😂.

Bij aankomst in Rotterdam zijn we op zoek gegaan naar een plekje om iets te drinken. Na wat kuieren op de lokale markt kwamen we terecht bij Sherlock's place. Je kan hier meer dan 100 verschillende smaken combineren om je eigen limonade te maken! Daarnaast heb je ook nog de keuze tussen plat of bruiswater om je eigen limonade mee af te werken. Een aanrader om hier even halt te houden en te genieten van de gezellige drukte!

Small cafe in a great quiet location with great service (water without asking, as it should be) and equally great coffee. Over 100 types of Monin syrup to choose from. A real worthy place! 👍

Whent by here today to try there monin! And i was just so pleasantly surprised by the kind staff there! They let you taste multiple flavours and even made drinks on the house! The staff where also extremely helpfull with picking out flavours! Will definitely come back for more flavours and the amazing customer service

Somewhat hidden away on the large church square next to the Binnenrotte & side of the Laurenskerk, this “coffee” shop where fine syrup-based drinks are served by its striking & friendly owner. A “hidden gem” for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the crowds in the catering industry.

Delicious chai latte and milkshakes!

I came here specifically to eat the cannoli from Dolci Siciliani bakery and it was delicious! The frappe and espresso were also tasty and the staff is very friendly. The terrace is nice and spacious, so you are not so close to each other. All in all, it is a nice, quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee and something tasty. I would like to come back again and can highly recommend this place.

The owner gives very good advice and also offers to taste. I am very happy with the Monin range. Here you can buy the tastiest iced coffee to make at home. And syrups for coffee. And my favorite is Monin's Chai Tea. All on the advice of the owner.

Mediocre coffee for an expensive price

On Wednesday, April 3, I came across the shop on the internet. I had been looking for a good store with nice cocktail accessories for some time. So I quickly stopped by before work and wow! What a very nice thing. Besides the fact that you can also have a cup of coffee there, you can also buy a lot of things. The good quality Monin syrups and bar supplies are flying around your ears. A very small place, but the choice is huge. Also a very nice gentleman who helped me. I will definitely come back here again!

Absolutely adore this place! Such a cute and quiet spot. Coming from the U.S I never liked Coffee much, but my whole world was changed when I came here. I ordered a pistachio latte and it was PERFECT! Absolutely coming back when I visit Rotterdam again! Oh and the staff is super friendly and personable!

Because I am a big fan of Monin, my girlfriend and I came to Rotterdam especially to visit this cafe. And what a good choice that was! The drinks were very tasty and looked very nice, the muffin we had was also very tasty. The staff was very friendly and thought along with us about the products we wanted to buy, and we were able to taste all kinds of syrups without any problem. As icing on the cake, we just received the drinks on the house after purchasing a number of products! We will definitely come back!

Fantastic place! We were travelling through Rotterdam from the UK and saw the excellent reviews on Google and decided to pay a visit. It was no problem that we spoke little to no Dutch as the owners spoke great English. The Gingerbread Man hot chocolate was delicious, and the mint tea made with fresh mint leaves was equally as good. The White Chocolate Cookie and the Salted Caramel Muffin were very tasty too! A lovely atmosphere to the cafe and set in a lovely quiet leafy location. We’d highly recommend this cafe and would certainly visit again.

Have been coming here for years. Awesome place, friendly owner, and the café's in a cosy and scenic spot right next to the gorgeous St Lawrence Church. They no longer sell sandwiches or salads and have shifted their focus to coffee. They do have a very wide selection of delicious Monin-based drinks. Tons of flavours for lattes, iced or hot, always served with a salted caramel treat. They do still sell sweets - cheesecake, apple pie, carrot cake. It's unfortunate that they no longer serve their wide variety of teas - they used to have lots of unique and special blends. Still highly recommend to pay a visit if you're in Rotterdam.

Kind service, charming spot, heaven for people with a sweet tooth, as they serve hundred types of sweet coffee. A great place to come with a book and enjoy the ringing bells from Laurenskerk every now and then.

Heerlijk middagje bijgekomen bij Sherlock's Place, lekker buiten gezeten op het terrasje in een niet al te drukke straat. Super vriendelijke bediening, die alle tijd voor je hebben als je vragen hebt. Ook als je geen vragen hebt en gewoon weet wat je wilt hebben ;) We hebben ons heerlijk laten verrassen met de Chef's choice . Van lavendel tot grapefruit, van passion fruit naar jasmijn,etc En alles was super lekker en verfrissend. De koffie, limonade, iced tea & het gebak! Voor ieder wat wils. Wij zijn tevreden naar huis gegaan, met onze eigen flessen Monin die je daar kunt kopen. Wij komen zeker weer terug, er valt nog zo veel te proberen !

Served tap water as soon as we were seated which is highly appreciated. Coffee and pastries were good, had a good time!
