The food doesn't taste like traditional Middle Eastern food at all. The owner is Israeli, so that makes sense.

The food was delicious! We shared both menus, which were very tasty (especially the baba ganoush!), and the falafel was also excellent. There are several seating options, both inside and outside.

The food is amazing, Jan Beuving was absolutely right in his lecture that you can eat the tastiest falafel in Zeist at SHOUQ!!

It's so great to be able to go to such a lovely place in Zeist! A really nice, relaxed atmosphere and delicious, fresh food. I love coming here with guests because I know the staff will be friendly to my child, the food is fantastic and great for sharing, and the price is also very reasonable (if you can't finish it all, you can also take it home) :)

Delicious! They live up to their name, because I was so thrilled with my first sandwich that I went back the next day to get another one. Everything is freshly prepared. Super delicious if you're looking for a healthy, vegetarian restaurant!

We have ordered here a few times now and are very satisfied! Super tasty food, always on time, fresh, vegetarian, good portions (we are big eaters so that is very nice). We actually always order the menu, that is highly recommended. The sweet potato fries are also very tasty. For a takeaway meal also relatively healthy. What more could you want :) we will definitely come back here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Everything but everything was far from authentic Lebanese. It seemed like everything from a jar. And then waiting for the food for 45 minutes. How you get five stars here every time is a mystery to me, we often eat Lebanese. Of all the meals this was really very very disappointing. It was a disgrace. We left almost everything.

Wow! By far the best Mediterranean food I ate in The Netherlands..

The falafel is DELICIOUS. They load it with everything, it's neither dry nor too saucy, the balance is perfect. And the sweet potato fries are super tasty. They are crispy on the outside, soft inside. Every time we have been there they've matched the quality.

We visited this establishment for the first time today and highly enjoyed their Sabich. Service and atmosphere were also lovely.

Best falafel and hummus in town and that I ever ate. The lunch menu falafel hummus is very filling, me and my girlfriend shared 1 and had enough. We even got an extra pitta. Nice young staff, it feels like there is a good working atmosphere here, a community. Occasionally the guitar is picked up by staff and regular guests. Really nice and we were helped very friendly and well. I went home with an extra bowl of hummus. See you soon!

Have ordered and picked up delicious pitas with falafel, hummus and sabich many times at Shouq! The fresh sweet potato fries are also very tasty. It leaves you wanting more because everything is freshly prepared and the service is very friendly and fast. We are very happy with this place in Zeist! And there are also a few tables where you can have a nice meal if you want.

I recently dined at Shouq, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance is vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Their hummus is simply amazing – creamy, flavorful, and probably the best I’ve had in a long time. Shouq also offers an excellent variety of Middle Eastern salads, each bursting with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. If you're looking for a place that combines a great vibe with outstanding Middle Eastern cuisine, Shouq is definitely worth a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and can't wait to go back

We have had takeaway a few times now and the food is really delicious and the staff very friendly. The menu for 2 people is a lot (our children also eat a bit of it) and well priced. We will definitely come back more often!

I just discovered this place and had lunch there twice now and everything was super tasty and fresh. The second time we had the Shouq menu for 2 people, very extensive. The hummus is the tastiest I have ever had. You really feel like you are in the Middle East. The owner is also a super nice guy.

Delicious food several times! Very friendly staff, I think all food is home made too. Recommended for anyone who likes tasty, nutritious food.

Small restaurant with three tables and a bar type seating. Open kitchen, young staff. We had the 'taste it all' for 17.50 pp. Nice diversity of middle eastern tastes. The hummus was soft and tasty. Falafels could be more for two person, but with good crunch. Bit too much mint for my taste. Salads were nice, enjoyed the beetroot salad most. The Baba ganoush was too smokey for me, thick and on the fatty end. Not my taste, but my partner liked it. Olives were not fresh, but pickled veggies had a good bite. For drinks you have a variety of non alcoholic options. Clients come to pick up their orders in the same room, which is a bit messy and gives the place not really a restaurant type of atmosphere. Best point is that all is veggy!

I would recommend this place with my whole heart. I had their pita falafel and almost wept with joy. I've spent most of my life in the middle east and this tasted just like the ones we get there - something I've been searching for a long long time now!

We often come to Shouq to eat a pita falafel, but now we also had a birthday catered. They delivered the mezze table in beautiful bowls which made it look very festive. Everyone loved it and we were completely relieved. We have a lot of allergies in the family, but because the kitchen is completely vegan, it was perfect. I can recommend it to everyone.

We came into contact with Shouq quite last minute to cater for a large group at our office. Oran responded super quickly and thought perfectly about putting together two days of lunch for this group. Day 1 a delicious mezze with all kinds of different dishes and on Day 2 a delicious soup with pita and salads. Delivered on time, good quantities, highly recommended for catering!

Heerlijk vegan eten!! Na het mountainbiken was dit de kers op de taart. De sfeer is erg relaxt, en je kan buiten in de zon eten. Het menu was erg vullende en de hummus is super lekker. We gaan hier zeker vaker komen wanneer we in de buurt zijn!

Absoluut zalig gegeten hier! De eigenaar was ook erg vriendelijk. Op de foto de lunchbox, met een mix van van alles met een heerlijke en warme pita erbij. De tabouleh was lekker fris, perfect als je van het zurige (limoen)tintje houdt. Mooie tent!

Even snel binnen gewandeld voor een pita falafel. Was heerlijk. Verse, knapperige groenten, goed broodje en heerlijke kruiden en saus. Niet alleen lekker, maar ook een lust voor het oog met alle kleuren. Ik kom zeker terug voor de rest van de kaart.

Looking for good vegan food on the way home, we found this little pearl in Zeist. We had to wait for an hour to drive home, but when we finally could taste the food, we ordered and took with. It was just great. To bad, it's such a long drive to get this delicious food in The Hague

Een revelatie in Zeist. Gezond, vers en met passie bereid eten. Je proeft de originele keuken in de romige humus en de fantastische falafel. Ook voor catering. Alles is vegan maar let op; zelfs de verstokte vleeseter gaat hier meer fan voldaan weg.

Echt 1 van de allerbeste falafel die ik tot nu toe heb gehad! Echt een goede aanrader hoor! Ik ben echt fan! Echt super lekker goed vegetarisch/veganistisch eten als falafel hummus enz.

Looking to grab a bite to go we stumbled upon this gem. Wow. We were amazed by this authentic food and the amazing flavour. Too bad this is not in my hometown but will definitely go out of the way to come here again. Oh, and the owner is a super friendly guy!
