After my first visit, I gave it 5 stars because it was delicious. After my second visit, I reduced the rating to 3 stars because the arancini was inedible this time. I think the mozzarella in the filling was spoiled. What a shame.

It is such a nice place. We had an Italian sandwich and sodas. Wow the sodas especially are just amazing - we had a pomogranate flavour one which was just so authentic and flavourful. They also have 10% discount for students. Highly recommended!

A Hidden Sicilian Gem in Maastricht! We were blown away by the quality and authenticity of everything we tried. The focaccia sandwiches were very flavorful, and the cannoli were crispy, creamy, and perfectly sweet. They also offer unique Sicilian drinks that you won't find elsewhere. One of the owners is not only incredibly kind and welcoming but also a true perfectionist, pouring his heart into the business while juggling a Master’s degree on the side. You can taste the passion in every bite. A must try !

Great place in the center of maastricht. Very friendly staff and fast preparation. Place is small, so good to take away or if lucky to sit in one of the 2 tables. Very recommended to try comfort real sicilian food. Also the soda are super good and fresh. In general, place to go when in Maastricht 😉

Staff was very welcoming and incredibly kind! Ordered the Taormina (Tomato, Arugula, Ham) and Bronte (Pesto) Foccacia and it was crispy on the outside, soft and juicy and flavourful.

We had an amazing experience with getting catering from Sicilery for an event (+60 people)! Rocco was really nice and helpful in drawing up a catering plan. He incorporated our wishes for a variety of things and also vegetarian and vegan options. In the end, we got arancini, focaccia and cannoli. The focaccia was made with local ingredients, was very fresh and really good. The cannoli were also incredibly good :) Sicilery delivered the food reliably and helped set it up and even brought a table cloth by to make the set up look more aesthetic. After this experience, we would definitely recommend - either eating there and trying their delicious foods or ordering from them :)

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. I specifically mentioned that I am vegetarian and asked for a vegetarian arancino. The staff assured me they had an "Arancino alla Norma," which is supposed to be vegetarian. However, after taking a few bites, I realized there were pieces of meat inside. This was clearly not what I had ordered. Not only was this misleading, but it also showed a lack of respect for dietary preferences. Making such a mistake can be problematic, especially for those who avoid meat for ethical, religious, or health reasons. I expect more attention and care when handling customers’ requests, especially when dietary restrictions are clearly communicated. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable vegetarian options.

The arancini are a must try, really delicious. We took the cannoli home and they were an equally delicious surprise! I didn't buy fries because I didn't have enough cash. I was attracted by this store for no reason. I had already walked past it, but after checking the reviews, I immediately turned back to eat. It's a shop selling Italian pastries. I ordered the fried rice balls that everyone said were delicious. Later, after doing some research, I found out that arancini is a famous snack in southern Italy. It is made of Italian risotto rolled in cheese and deep-fried. There are many choices. Unfortunately, the flavor I wanted was gone, so I ordered Spinaci. Although it was vegetarian, it was super delicious! This is the best food I have eaten in the Netherlands this time~ Try to eat it while it is hot. The store clerk is very simple and environmentally friendly (?) and can only give you a toilet paper bag, so it is recommended to bring your own toilet paper or wet wipes to wipe your hands🤣 I was eating Cannoli in Taiwan and saw that their prices were acceptable, so I ordered a small pistacchio + ricotta to try. As always, the ricotta tasted dense and slightly grainy, but very sweet🤣Although it was a small portion, it tasted delicious. I really need something to drink. 📍Overall, eating a rice ball is actually very filling, and the CP value is really high! Cannoli depends on personal preference. If you haven’t tried it before, I recommend giving it a try~ ✅Card can be swiped ✅Can be used internally

The owner is a young, polite Italian and a real Sicilian. He even offered coffee to my wife and me (Grazie!). The food was really delicious. I definitely recommend it.

I had a fantastic break at Sicilery this afternoon. The arancini was absolutely delicious, and the cappuccino was perfect. The owner was incredibly friendly and even gave me two cannelloni to take home after a lovely chat. Exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere—I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon!

I tried the combo deal with a pizzeta, a chili Italian lemon beer and a chocolate cannoli and a calzone and the meal was really good, filling and cheaper than your average fast-food. My friends tried other options and they were really good as well, special mention to the fries Perfect place for students.

Stopped my on a whim…. Had a frittatina, norma and al sugo…. Along with the best espresso I’ve had all year. Everything was delicious, service was relaxed and informative. I had been to the old location in the Sphinx and they have improved quite a bit. I’ll be back.
