If you are looking for a combination of a warm interior, good food and excellent service, then you are in the right place. I personally think the room at the back has more atmosphere due to the dark character than the room at the front, but that is of course a matter of taste. You can see that the owner has a feeling for interior design and that she has added many elements that fit in very nicely with the atmosphere. For me, at least, a place to return more often

Yesterday with the family, entrecote starter was not tasty and the entrecote overcooked. Then ate the tenderloin which I found overcooked and the vegetables did not have a good preparation and or taste. Very overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately, no second time for us.

Great food and service (wedding event participant)

This is now our 20th evening at Sizzles and every time it was a party. The food is surprising, special and incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and almost homely. The service is smooth and attentive, not stiff, but very cozy, personal, good sense of humor and professional. Really, really, really recommended!

Review Shizzles at the Park – King's Day 2025 My experience at Shizzles at the Park was unfortunately very disappointing. We had made a reservation for dinner on King's Day; the website neatly stated that it could be a bit noisy and that there was a special dinner menu - great! However, upon arrival we were led to an empty room with no chairs. Once seated there was no drinks menu available and the waitress could not clearly explain what to order – "some soft drinks and some beer and stuff" was her response. This immediately gave a strange first impression. Then the waitress spilled a full glass of beer all over my pants, leaving me smelling of alcohol for the rest of the evening. Of course accidents can happen, but the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional. We were offered a new beer, but it was served in a dirty glass. After exchange, half of the beer was gone. The "compensation" consisted of this beer being on the house. When we carefully suggested taking another drink (a cassis) off the bill as an additional compensation, the waitress responded downright rudely with: "Are you going to make a fuss about a cassis?!" When we explained that it was mainly about the way the situation was handled (and the fact that my pants were covered in beer), we were laughed at. The waitress gave the excuse: "Yes, it is King's Day," as if that is a reason to throw out professional service. Plus point: The food itself was very tasty - nothing to complain about. Final verdict: Food: 8/10 Service: 0/10

Nice drinks spot with beautiful terrace. Tasty bites! The lobster bitterballen is excellent. Nice service, but you could definitely use another one to get more out of the terrace.

It is a very nice atmosphere but the food is pretty traditional (more in the range of a local cafe) and it takes 30-40min between the meals. Definitely do not take the 4 course menu unless you want to spend over 3 hrs there.

Delicious food for the second year

One of my absolute favorite places in Apeldoorn, what an incredible top restaurant! Always good service, the staff knows how to answer every question flawlessly, beautiful looking and tasty cocktails (Cas makes the best Scroppino's and Margarita's!). The food is just phenomenal, I want to eat here every day!

Everything you could wish for for a pleasant, relaxing culinary evening. We took the 4-course surprise menu and were indeed surprised by new dishes inspired by Japanese cuisine, even though we had not opted for the Japanese version. Complete coffee is also really original: highly recommended. The only thing I find strange for a restaurant of this class is that upon entering you receive a separate card for pricey entrées (strange if you want to choose a multi-course dinner afterwards) and special drinks that even include a basket of bread, so no snack or bread from the house beforehand.

8-3-2025 We certainly visit Sizzles several times a year. Since the Koninginnelaan until now for a number of years at the park in Apeldoorn. Yesterday we celebrated my 60th birthday together with our daughter and son-in-law. A completely different menu has been available for two weeks now. We opted for the 5-course surprise menu. My husband and son-in-law together with an accompanying wine arrangement. The dishes were refined, super tasty and surprising. The effect is also in the details, such as a scented cloth to clean your hands, small side dishes with the courses and much more. It was well thought out and sublime! Our compliments to Léon and his team and of course Esther and her team. Last night we were served very hospitably by Abel who gave a good explanation of the accompanying wines and food. An evening with a golden edge in a great ambiance! 2021 Very nicely renovated building. So beautiful! Comfortable seats. The food is of high quality and very tasty. The new place for this super team offers enough challenges to continue the usual perfect service. It will take some getting used to. We will be back for dinner soon. We say: enjoy!!!!

Got married here three years ago, at the tail end of the corona period... What very nice, friendly and good service. It makes the delicious dishes (this time a surprise menu with excellent pairing of the wines) even tastier...

I had the pleasure of visiting Sizzles at the Park in Apeldoorn, and it was a great experience. The service was truly professional – attentive, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making guests feel welcome. Every detail was well thought out, and the staff showed both expertise in the menu and a genuine commitment to hospitality. The food was excellent, prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. Depending on the thickness of your wallet, not a place where you eat every day. However, it is a place that I recommend everyone to visit once. We had dinner here to celebrate our joint anniversary and really enjoyed it from start to finish. Fine dining or as my friend said "the master chef jury experience". If we are in the area again we will not doubt whether this is the right restaurant. The staff is also very friendly and professional!

The ambience of this restaurant is absolutely fabulous, hence the 4 stars. Then you have to choose whether you want a 3, 4 or 5 course lunch or dinner. Every course was a painting, but the main course was served at room temperature and the espresso also was not hot. Is this restaurant worth an other visit?

Nice place to eat and good attentive service

Delicious food, very nice decor and atmosphere. We all had the extensive surprise menu and what was a bit disappointing is that for 1 person in our party, apparently “no meat” was interpreted as “only fish” and that there was a little too much reuse of ingredients throughout the courses. Of the 5 courses (excluding desert), 3 had prawns, but sometimes the same garnishes. Good matching wines and great service.

1) 2020. The restaurant has just opened and we had a delicious meal there. Unfortunately, it closed temporarily shortly afterwards due to the coronavirus pandemic. That's a shame, because the quality of this restaurant is excellent. To survive the lockdown, they started a friendly delivery service. 2) 2024. I visited this restaurant in September. It still has a chic appearance, but the reception and customer friendliness are approachable. It is still one of the best restaurants in Apeldoorn! I had a delicious meal there. 3) 2025. In January, on a Monday, we had an excellent meal again. The service was again friendly and attentive; the best restaurant in Apeldoorn.

We had dinner at Sizzles at the Park and it was a great experience! The atmosphere in the restaurant is really great; it's cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was also good, with a varied course menu that is definitely worth trying. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcome. All in all, highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice dining experience in Apeldoorn!

Beautiful fish dishes, generous portions, gallant service (the jacket is also put on you as a gentleman), excellent acoustics thanks to sound insulation on the ceiling, soft jazz in the background for a relaxed table conversation. Nice wine arrangement with half glasses. What a welcome discovery, this affordable, good and attractive restaurant. We were able to park our car right in front of it and paid for only 10 minutes (free from 6pm). Well worth the drive from my hometown of Deventer, despite the infamous 13 (!) traffic lights between the highway exit and the city center.

Been twice, and already one of my favorite restaurants! Very good and friendly service-oriented employees, beautifully presented and delicious food, good knowledge of the staff about the dishes and matching wines, pleasant atmosphere / ambiance, in short, a truly culinary experience that guarantees a wonderful evening.

Perfect in our view. A casual atmosphere in a beautifully decorated building and a strong team with an eye for detail. The Peruvian Japanese Nikei menu is highly recommended!

Enjoyed a super delicious 6-course dinner in this attractive restaurant. Fantastic flavors on every plate. The young girls in the service know what you are talking about and make you feel hospitable. The wine arrangement was also great. And the mirror toilet... how cool is that. Secretly going to the toilet more often than necessary😂 We will definitely visit again soon.

It was correct from A to Z! In one word...AWESOME When I entered, the atmosphere and entourage blew my mind because it was so beautifully decorated. Jas was accepted immediately and allowed to go to our reserved table... we were really “served”. You can feel that... everyone works there with love. We felt seen, heard and pampered. Very nice place, tasty dishes and super friendly service

This is a nicely decorated restaurant. From the first glance looks quite fancy. My boyfriend ordered paloma cocktail which was a bit saltier than expected. After he told them, they provided a better one immediately. The staff were very friendly. The dishes were tasty but not as fancy as one would have expected. I think it is a nice place for celebrations etc.

Very nice location for dining. We were here for Christmas dinner with the company, but it was also very nice outside of that. Atmosphere is good, service is top notch and the dishes are fantastic. Nice variety between the different dishes and an original choice for diversity. In short, highly recommended, we had a nice dinner 👌🏻

I enjoyed a delicious lunch with a friend. Fast and pleasant service in a beautiful location. Only personal downside. You'll love their twist on classic desserts. Personally, I don't like it. Which of course says nothing about the quality.

Beautiful restaurant, good food and excellent service. With a large group, we had the opportunity to use Private dining! enjoyed everything.

Food was good, not great. Service was strong, but the restaurant itself is a bit dingy. From tables that are still sticky after being removed upon request, to extremely high-pile carpet in the dining room that contains grease stains and crumbs from previous visitors.

We hoped for a relaxing culinary evening...and that's what we got! Everything was perfect: private parking, pleasant reception with lanterns (St. Maarten?), beautiful building and interior, pleasant service with time for a chat, relaxed atmosphere, pleasantly busy and above all, lots of choice, delicious dishes and flavor combinations beautifully presented like paintings. Plus perfectly chosen wines. And in terms of price-quality ratio, it is excellent. Thanks to the kitchen and service brigade.

We had a wonderful and atmospheric evening. Due to the crowds there was only room at the bar, but that did not detract from the experience. We opted for the four-course menu and the service was incredibly friendly. The dishes were special and well portioned. The value for money was excellent. However, I would like to say that I found the adapted wines a bit on the expensive side; Another pour could have remedied this. Nevertheless, it remains recommended. We will definitely come back!

Service is top class. The food is very impressive, very tasty and with a lot of detail. Only the main course (veal) was not special, it was a bit out of place with the other courses, which were all of a higher level.

We came for a culinary evening DINE and it was certainly a success! The Japanese / Peruvian fusion dishes were delicious, nice variety of flavors and original dishes. Service was excellent, a beautifully decorated restaurant with very good sound insulation, so you can still talk comfortably in a busy room.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly service - it’s a shame then that some of the dishes in the 5 course menu were so poor, with one fish dish almost inedible due to the fish not tasting fresh at all, and an orange colored mash of ingredients masquerading as dessert. Such a pity, given the beauty of the place itself. Also, the parking lot was full which was inconvenient.

Beautiful place, delicious food and great service. Parking is free and easy, but you have to know where it is. I drove past it 3 times, also because of the one-way traffic in the street. We had a trio of oysters, bread and a tasting of starters beforehand. Nice dishes to start with. A nice wine list with sufficient choice and matching wines. The Nikkei Experience is highly recommended to experience Japanese-Peruvian cuisine! It is a 4-course tasting menu. We didn't have to do the oysters and bites beforehand because you get a huge amount during this Experience. Maybe too much. Personally, I thought too much coriander was used even though this is part of the cuisine, but it was on almost everything. Highly recommended to visit when you are in Apeldoorn!

My daughter chose Sizzles at the Park to have a really nice and fun meal out with the three of us. That worked! A beautiful restaurant, very atmospheric and hip. Upon entering you will find a cozy shop with surprising items. A very beautiful and colorful interior, very attentive and service-oriented staff. The menu is very varied with exciting dishes. All 3 of us chose the 4 course dinner with the 3 glasses wine arrangement. The last wine had to be a dessert wine for us. We were spoiled and surprised with delicious and varied dishes, of which I can't remember what was good. Not even the wines, unfortunately. Added some atmospheric photos for a total impression. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice evening here. We were very warmly welcomed. It was my girlfriend's birthday and a present and card had been prepared for her. Everything was very well organized down to the last detail. We went for the Nikkei experience, so a four-course tasting menu and we loved every dish. Service was very friendly and smooth. We would love to come back here again.

Here's a gem in Apeldoorn with its own parking, where can you find that! On a balmy evening you can enjoy a delicious meal on the outdoor terrace. Very tastefully decorated with lots of color and cushions. The lighting, when it gets darker, is beautiful. It is also a truly beautiful place inside and the styling has been very well thought out. This is where you want to be and spend your evening. Even the toilets are breathtakingly beautiful. We went for the Nikkei package with 4 courses. All beautiful dishes, varied and beautiful flavors. Presentation was perfectly fine. Service neat, smooth and knowledgeable.

Everything is spacious and intimately decorated, the service knows what they are talking about and they make every effort to meet your wishes. I can dine here every week.

Had dinner outside in August. It was a beautiful summer day with a full terrace. Great service, beautiful place and dishes that are prepared with attention. They have a cool interior inside. Price-quality ratio good. The dog was allowed outside, which was great!

Wow wow wow. This restaurant is exactly everything and much more you would expect and wish for in a restaurant. We haven't had such a good meal here in years. The service was truly excellent, wine advice was great and the interior was beautiful and contemporary. The four-course NIKKEI experience menu is highly recommended! We will definitely come back here more often!

The three of us had a very nice meal here (a la carte). Generous portions, good flavour, well cooked, beautifully presented. The menu offers plenty to choose from, but is not very special or innovative. Which is absolutely fine by the way! Very friendly, professional and relaxed service. Not rushed for a moment, we had a very relaxing evening. The only point of criticism is the 'Club House'-like music that was on. This (in my opinion) does not fit the audience and the atmosphere. It was quite distracting.

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. There was immediately a small present ready on the table. The rest of the evening we just enjoyed the delicious food and good wines. The wine pairing could also be ordered in half glasses, which was great for us. The nice ending with coffee completed the evening. A summer trolley was brought to our table and you could choose from all kinds of delicacies. All in all we had a great evening!

We had the 3 course menu @ the park with the wine paring plus an additional oyster course for the appetizer. The sizzles G&T was good and pairing it with the very fresh oyster selection was great. The surprise 3 course menu was also good value for money. The wine pairing is also good but suggesting a more full-bodied red for the tenderloin course. Overall it was a great dinner and good service received from the staff. Ambiance and interior decor also fantastic for this restaurant.

We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary with a group of 20 people at Sizzles. We had already been there for lunch and were already in love with this restaurant. We were in a separate room, nice and private and intimate. The care, decoration and service, everything was great!! Thank you very much Sizzles. We had an indelible evening, partly thanks to you. Really nice atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices, decent food, free private parking is a nice plus. My only real complaint is the house wine, which was actually undrinkably bad - not that big a deal, but don't bother with their wine menu imho - cocktails seemed fine.

Very nice meal, from the delicious brand new and tongue-melting oysters to that very nice extra with the coffee. I'll let that remain a surprise here for a while. Everything pico bello. Kitchen for kissing. Creative, very tasty and impressive on all fronts. From layout and taste to presentation, service, menu and season. An eye for detail. One of those things that you would give an asterisk to. Truly a surprise! We were in great company. The place was completely full, but everything ran smoothly. Truly a restaurant to cherish.
