Smaak Cuijk in Cuijk

Amazing place, great atmosphere, perfect food and the best staff, kind, amicable, and super professional. Prices are within the expected. Cozy atmosphere on the inside and pleasant esplanade. We booked a bit late in the day and arrived after 8pm for dinner on a Sunday night. We were very well treated, the food was excellent (freshest garnishing), good plate variety. Definitely a place to come back to in a near future! If, like us, you're staying at the Fletcher Brabant-Mill definitely stop by. 10/10

I had a drink with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter and enjoyed the snacks from two appetizer platters. It was lovely outside on the terrace in the shade.

Surprisingly delicious food. A mix of catfish and octopus. Delicious flavor, beautifully presented, generous portions, good wine, friendly staff, and a good price. I honestly don't know why I haven't been here before, even though I'm from the area.

It's been a while, and it was time to dine at Smaak again. The menu offers a shared dinner with 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 2 desserts, or à la carte. We opted for a tasting session, so we shared more dishes. A good choice at a reasonable price, too! We tasted everything deliciously, and the dishes were truly well-thought-out, with some lovely little surprises. From a deliciously sour veggie burger to the incredibly meaty large granola in the excellent Cocktail 2.0. The seating was wonderful, quite chic. Because it was a holiday, the servers were mostly very young. They were clearly well-trained, but sometimes they walked past too easily or left you waiting for a drink or the menu. We know the owner a little, and in our experience, when he's there, you experience the full gastronomy you're looking for. Definitely recommend coming to Cuijk for this.

The staff didn't ask for the name of the person who had made the reservation and didn't know which table was reserved. The table hadn't been cleaned.

We went here on 28-06-2025 We arrived at 1740 ordered and first course came an hour later. We had to ask twice where the main course was it took so long. Soup was sour not good at all they do have vegan options which is good. When main finally came it was cold which for steak sucks. Will not come here again servers don't see you or ignore you

Seems like a nice place, but if no one has come to my table after fifteen minutes, I'm done with it. We walked out. First and last time, unfortunately, and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone because of this experience. Response to the owner's response: that was on Thursday, May 29.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, large parking lot under the trees opposite the restaurant. Terrace is next to (the parking lot) of a car company. Funny to see that the mechanics there also enjoyed the sun outside.

Delicious food, all dishes were unique, looked beautiful and delicious. The point of attention is the temperature, both of the dishes and of the restaurant. Nevertheless, we would like to come back again. We surprisingly liked the concept of Burgundian dining.

It's a shame that we were here for the first time yesterday. That Burgundian menu is highly recommended! And then also: a *range* of dessert wines, something you almost never see. CU!

Food was ok. Have had better meals there previously. Was very noisy in the restaurant, seems when several tables are full the acoustics make it difficult to hear people next to you. People serving were very polite and accommodating, but food service was very slow - even for the Netherlands.

As always, it was delicious, cozy and hospitable!

The mussels, steak and beef tartare were incredibly tasty

Super friendly help on the phone when I asked if we could come with 3 dogs, without hesitation a "yes"! Then we sat outside under the cloth on the side, a nice cozy spot and great help from a very sweet lady!! The wine was already tasty (that's usually an indicator of how the rest will be ;-))... The food was delicious and so far the best spare ribs we have tasted in recent years! The bavette was also spot on! So a wonderful place where we will definitely go back again!

Good food. However, the asparagus that they offer in bulk is still too hard for me. Meat dishes otherwise just fine and nicely prepared!! Nicely furnished tent. However, the bar men were busy with things outside the guests. Phone, laptop, control screen. It took a long time before you had another round of drinks. Price is also technically on the high side, but a nice option is the Burgundian menu

Cozy location and good food for a good price.

In one word AMAZING! Had a fantastic evening in honor of our father-in-law's 60th birthday. We were in Cuijk from Yerseke for a weekend, will definitely come back! What an experience! Service a big 10. Service was great. Child-friendly restaurant. Our girls (1.5 & 7) had a great time. There is no children's menu on the menu, but we thought about what was possible on the spot. Food came quickly and was served very nicely. Each couple had selected 3 main courses and 3 starters. Then 2 more desserts. Really Fantastic! Also affordable. On average the costs were €50 per person, including drinks. Where else do you have such service and amazing food?! Don't hesitate, just book and you will experience it too. Top!

Het eten en de service was erg goed. De sfeer was prima, echter was het erg druk en daardoor lawaaierig waardoor we moeite moesten doen om elkaar te verstaan aan tafel.

Lekker Bourgondisch gegeten. Met mijn team. De hapjes waren erg lekker en meer dan voldoende. De sfeer was goed.

Leuk restaurant met fijne kaart voor ieder. Eten was erg lekker en hebben nog heerlijk buiten gezeten. In de regen onder het zeil.

Wij hebben echt heerlijk gegeten bij Smaak. Een super mooi restaurant, super vlees bereiding en vriendelijk personeel dat met je meedenkt. Je loopt propvol hier weg!

Gisteren n.a.v verjaardag familie bij Restaurant Smaak gegeten. De familie had hier al eerder gegeten en vond het toen beter dan gister. We moesten lang wachten tussen voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht. Wat we kregen wat we besteld hadden was goed. Bediening was op zich goed, maar daar zijn nog wel wat verbeterpunten. Zal met ervaring te maken hebben. Dit is een moment ervaring, maar zal zeker nog een keer komen eten.

Alles was goed. Eten lekker, service goed, sfeer prima. Jammer dat er zo weinig vegetarische keus is

Wat een lekkere ervaring was dit! Heerlijk gegeten en echt ouderwets bourgondisch genoten van al het heerlijks. De wijn kaart is ook zeer uitgebreid en de sfeer alsmede bediening was perfect. Hier kom ik zeker nog eens terug.

Een gezellig restaurant met een aanrader: de diverse borrelplank met heerlijke hapjes. Het eten is erg lekker en de sfeer is gezellig. Het enige puntje is dat een vaste prijs of prijs vanaf 2 personen voor de borrelplank wenselijk zou zijn. Over het algemeen een positieve ervaring.

Gisteren de 4daagse afgesloten met een heerlijke biefstuk bij Smaak, was weer geweldig.

Vriendelijke ontvangst, goede sfeer en lekker eten. Het zat vol op vrijdagavond dus we waren blij dat we gereserveerd hadden. De vis en gamba waren goed bereid en smaakvol en ook de tournedos van m'n vriend was heerlijk. Lekker glaasje wijn erbij en het is genieten!

Gezellig restaurant met een ruim terras aan straatkant en de zijkant. De service is uitstekend en vriendelijk personeel. Ook het eten smaakte ons goed. Alleen de biefstukpuntjes vonden we wat minder, maar misschien hadden wij net een wat minder stuk. Als je van keuze houdt en met z'n tweeën meer dan voldoende wil eten, dan is het Bourgondisch dineren een aanrader.

Een van de betere restaurants in Cuijk! Niet echt goedkoop, wel zeer goed eten. Bediening is erg vriendelijk en voorkomend. Kom zeker nog eens terug.

Heel lekker eten in een hele mooie sfeer. Reserveer op tijd want het is er meestal druk.
